Great homemade ice cream. Love the cheesecake flavor and lemon poppy. Im not even a big fan of ice cream but this place is legit. Prices are reasonable as well. Big parking lot and picnic benches on the side.

Tasty little scoop shop. Excellent flavors, great staff. The outside area is secluded and fun. The air around the place can be challenging sometimes. Not the fault of the proprietor.

One of the best ice cream parlors in east Brunswick. This is our to go place for ice cream. Do try thier poppy lemon, lavender honey and orange pineapple. We also like blueberry cheese cake. All the flavors are good. Just make sure you reach there before 9:50 because they close at 10 sharp. They have good sitting area behind the shop with bench and cute led lights.

We love this and so does our doggie she is addicted to the peanut butter pup cups. I wish the tables all had umbrellas. It's too hot to sit in the sun but the outside area is very 🙂nice

Our NJ Ice Cream tour continues with stop #4 - and it was delicious!! Amazing selection of ice cream - both hard and soft. Lots of extra goodies (cakes, ice cream sandwiches, etc). Super friendly 🥰 and the servings are generous. I can’t wait to have the chocolate fudge brownie again — and the pistachio cherry was equally amazing (large tasty cherries!!). Lots of kids and families. The ice cream parlor is accessible ♿️, super clean - including an area with tables for seating outside. Large parking lot.

Yesterday I went there 1st time !! Cause my daughter and her friends plan, for ice, to celebrate last day of school!! Surprisingly, there were lot of kids frm elementary with thier mom for ice-cream too. But I hated the fact, they got benches to enjoy the icecream, but NO SHADE. NO UMBRELLAS! poor kids were trying to scootch in the corner, cause it was 93 ° it was so hot, and everyone made it short and leave, cause the heat was unbearable. At least, put some UMBRELLAS. Benches also have whole for UMBRELLAS. Not a good experience...

We had our childrens bithday party here and it was great. Anna worked with us to set up a great time had by all. You able to rent their garden patio for your group and it was perfect. The ice cream is delicious and all homemade. If you haven't stopped here for a scoop tou are missing out. Go get a scoop and hang out. You will not be disappointed.

I had a great experience with Scoop to my Lou and am very happy with my experience I had today. When I walked in, the entire staff greeted myself and my daughter and create a very welcoming environment. The employee who served us was named Bri and was very patient with my daughter and let her try many flavors. Our ice cream was delicious and can’t wait to come back. The mint chocolate chip was one of the best I’ve ever had!!

We have this place on our list of ice cream shops that we wanted to visit New Jersey for a while and finally got the chance to get our sugar fixed today. When we arrived the line was right to the end of the door and we had to wait to move inside for the door to even close. So they were busy and we understand that. What I got was three scoops of ice cream of peanut butter cup, cherry pistachio and dirt. Call three flavors were delicious, but the dirt stood out the most. It had amazingly good big chunks of chocolate in it. And a kind of dryness that really made the dirt name stick in a good way though! There's a lot going on inside this small store that is mostly a one-way Lane in and out the other side. They have shirts for sale mugs for sale as well as some other things that I didn't get to check out. There's also a little arcade game that kids can win a prize at at the very end of the store so if you want to use that bring some cash. It's one of those guaranteed prize-winning things so you will win a brand new phone or anything. 😂 The only thing that prevented this from being five stars was that the girl that served us emotionless. She wasn't rude or impolite in any way but didn't smile at all. And by not smiling I mean if this was 10 years from now I'd swear she was an Android. It was our first visit to the store and it didn't give us a very comebacky kind of feeling. But as I said the store was very busy even with the three women working there. So if you're in the area and want some good ice cream definitely check this place out. Scoop To My Lou has’s ice cream is delicious. I look forward to coming here for a treat, my favorites are the coffee Oreo, salted caramel pretzel, and butter pecan. The portions are worth the money, and they have all the classics as well as well as seasonal and out the box flavors.

Great ice cream and very good people!! On a recent visit I left my wallet behind. The owner found a way to reach out to let me know they had it. It had been a tough week and that day especially. When I went to pick up the wallet I had been crying after receiving bad news about my husband in the hospital. I picked up a milkshake to bring to him and also one for myself as ice cream makes everything better, right?? When I went to pay the owner refused to accept my money and wished me well. Scoop to My Lou is the genuine depiction of your friendly neighborhood ice cream shop. It was truly such an amazing ending to my partner and I’s lunch date in East Brunswick! When we walked in I couldn’t resist to poke around at all the ice cream flavors in their display cases as well as other fun goodies they had in their to go fridges like ice cream pints, ice cream pies, and ice cream cookies! You can’t help but feel like a little kid all giddy deciding what flavor you want! Worker Chelsea greeted us with the sweetest smile and the most amazing customer service by giving us an ample amount of suggestions and samples of the flavors they have. So happy to have come in and will definitely find myself back in East Brunswick again for these sweet treats and sweeter service! ◡̈

Today was our first day here. Very nice and helpful staff. Their birthday cake was delicious (we loved the fudge!). They also did a special request when writing on it. We will certainly be back with the kids. Come check this place out; we highly recommend!

In my opinion, Scoop To My Lou is the best ice cream shop ever. The ice cream tastes amazing, and it's definitely not what you would expect. The staff and employees are also very kind and patient. They even give you plenty of ice cream! Although I just listed so many good things about here, there's just one downside. I wouldn't really recommend eating in the outdoor picnic area because it's near water and smells like garbage. But overall, this is a great ice cream shop. I 100% recommend going here.

First time trying this place. I had come over to this part of Jersey for a car, but ended up with ICE CREAM. Ice cream for the who family, & it was great! I paid for 5 people in total. 3 kids & 2 adults, we all got big scoops with ice cream, no toppings, but those flavors were so delicious. We got banana foster/cappuccino, cookie monster/oreos, cotton candy/strawberry, apple pie/peach cobbler, & a small mango sorbet. All in waffle cones. The chocolate dipped waffle cones are so 🔥 & crunchy, chocolaty & mmm, I've never had one taste so good. Spent less than $40 bucks! We will be coming back as much as possible !

Homemade ice cream! Some of my favorites are black raspberry, coffee chip, chocolate fudge, brownie, ice cream sandwiches, the kitchen sink. I have been to this place at least 15 times, I just keep coming back, I wish they were open year-round.

Love this local ice cream shop. They have seasonal soft-serve flavors like pumpkin and black raspberry which are both delicious. The have dole whip soft serve which is dairy free. And besides soft serve they have a lot of delicious unique flavors in hard ice cream. Their portions are generous. I'm guessing they prefer cash as they have a steep surcharge to use card which is unfortunately common nowadays. Large sitting area in the rear which is fenced off from the parking lot making it private to rush into your ice cream. Ample parking and ice cream sandwiches look good too.

The flavor of the ice cream we ordered was good. I did get a dipped waffle bowl which didn't have any flavor. I was disappointed after tasting it and kind of wished I had gone with just a regular cup. I also thought the price of the ice cream just wasn't worth it. If you do want to try this place, check local mailers because they post coupons there. I got one in the mail the day after we went. I'm not sure I would return in the future, there just unfortunately isn't anything special here.

Scoop to my lou has lots of flavors . It has a big parking lot and a huge seating area with benches. The staff was friendly and even though there were few customers ahead of us the line moved really fast. Service was great. The ice creams were strictly ok. We got the chocolate chocolate chip, chocolate nut fudge, strawberry (last 2 on cone with sprinkles). There wasn't anything unique or exciting about the taste. They tasted more like a generic brand ice cream at grocery stores. I was expecting the taste to be better after reading all the positive reviews but honestly a little disappointed, especially considering I had to pay 20 bucks.

A fun addition to the East Brunswick / Spotswood, NJ area. Located right on Main St., Scoop to My Lou is a family owned small business with fresh ice cream and homemade desserts. The atmosphere is fun and clean. During peak season you can expect longer lines but there is plenty of parking and even an outdoor dining area. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Highly recommended!!!

This one here is a very underrated ice cream shop, the ice creams are great and worth the price. We ordered a large size cup with 3 scoops with an additional topping which was big enough to be shared easily between two people. It was just $6 and totally worth it. Parking is available.

This was my second visit to this shop. The ice cream is good and serving sizes and prices are good. They offer both hard and soft ice cream, as well as ices. They also offer ice cream sandwiches packaged by the dozen to take home. There is a good sized parking lot as well a nice size seating area for nice weather. The staff is friendly and courteous. Definitely worth a try for those who haven't tried it yet.
