When my wife and I get into navarre scooters is the very first place we go to get dinner. It's been our tradition for year and will continue to be. The food is always delicious. Place is clean and staff is always very nice and friendly. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp.

We got takeout here after a day at the beach. We searched for “best takeout in Navarre” and Scooters was one of the top results. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. However, when we got back to the house with the food we were disappointed. The fish was tough and kind of reminded me of frozen fish fillets that were warmed up in a microwave. The bang bang shrimp did not taste fresh either. One positive note was that the slaw was excellent. We spent a little over $50 and didn’t feel like this food was worth that.

We had Grilled Swordfish, popcorn shrimp, Bang Bang Shrimp Taco, Fried Onions, Hush Puppies, Fries and Cheese grits. Very friendly staff. Food tasted fresh and was hot. We will definitely be eating here again.

Man for a Small joint the food is really good. I was skeptical about it being from New Orleans. I'm glad we tried it. Definitely gonna be back.

Child portion sizes for $20+. This was very disappointing. Taste was nice but seriously overpriced for portions served. Had I known amount of food was kid sized I would not have eaten here. Left $70 short, hungry and disappointed. I do not recommend going here unless you eat extremely light.

I ordered grilled swordfish, and they did a wonderful job with it! Their cranberry apple beverage they were advertising was also quite yummy! I also got a bite of their fried chicken and can definitely say that was one of the best fried chicken breadings i have ever had!

Cool place with great food. Ordered a dozen oysters and went back for a second! They had swordfish the day we were there and it was really good. Friendly staff and clean place. Will definitely go back and will recommend to anyone in the area.

This plate is what $34 gets you. Six shrimp, six oysters, a cup of gumbo (that was all okra and tomatoes, no rice, and some very chewy shrimp) and a cup of very midwestern-esque cole slaw. Person who took our order (not sure of their gender identity so will be respectful) was super super nice and patient as we’d never been here before. Place was clean. Flavor truly wasn’t bad but for the price and the amount you got we were super disappointed. Went with my boss, we work on the beach at one of the condos. Won’t be back. Super sad about it honestly. If you’ve ever been to David’s Catfish house— similar vibe, worse price, definitely worse sides.

I ordered fish of the day from door dash…it was awful…so oily the coating was sloughing off if you even touched it….the only thing edible was the beans….and the food was delivered fast too!!!

Really good! Fresh shrimp and lots of it on the sandwich. Coleslaw is great too! Fries were crispy and not greasy. Definitely worth the stop. Great service too!

Our favorite after the beach spot for a quick fish lunch or dinner. Even got our 8 year old to finally try some fish & now she’s hooked on their fried mahi! Everything’s always fresh, never been a long wait, we’ve had several different fish of the day dinners, grilled chicken, & tried just about all of the sides. Everything’s amazing, along with the homemade key lime pie. It’s in our top 3 key lime pies of the area. Good sweet tea too! 👌🏽

In from out of state! All I can say about this place is they are Absolutely Phenomenal! Food 10/10 Staff 10/10 Restrooms 10/10 Food get better with every single bite.

Always a winner! Food is great, the portions generous. Tasty hush puppies, fried okra, and grits. A Southerner's heart's delight. Bring the whole family because they have lots of seating.

I was there just in June 2 , I love that place . Always have . I am a local . Just tried to tell them if they could be more careful with the coleslaw . She did not like that . She said it’s not that we are speedy or not paying attention . It’s how we serve it ! Oh ok ! Not always . As I said I have been there thousands of times ! Not a good answer !! But always great tasting food ! The key lime pie is wonderful too

Everything we tried was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other fresh fish places. Wait was reasonable and staff was friendly.

Visited here and loved the seafood options! We got the Soft shell fried crab, fried calamari, & the BEST shrimp tacos we’ve ever had! We will come back when we visit again!

We eat here 2 to 3 times when we visit Navarre for the week. Their grilled shrimp is my favorite with Cole slaw and onion strings. I’d love to know what seasoning they use on the grilled shrimp and if they sell it at the store or online?

Overall it was a good experience trying out this place. I feel like this isn't an everyday place to eat. More like if you are craving for seafood and want to try variety. The food was excellent and I think every aspect of every meal is outstanding. They have served our food well and cooked our fish to perfection. Again this is just our observation and we do like the place. It is clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. We'll mostly likely come again but at some point in time. This place is just one of the good places to get seafood. You get what you pay for.

You are going to have to work hard to find complaints with any of the food or service here... Trust a fat man!!!!

Food was ok, my biggest thing was the needle on the ground outside and I told the staff as I ordered about it and where it was. Her response was “doesn’t surprise me” and how Navarre was getting bad, she also told us how they clean the parking lot every night. But after eating and coming back outside it was still there 😬

Soft crab sandwich was not bad average. Baked beans and potato salad wasn't bad either. They charge you a dollar for tomato and lettuce which is a crime and they also charge you a surcharge for paying with a debit card I hate restaurants like this.. look at your bill you'll be surprised. As far as I'm concerned that was your tip. I'm not tipping for a carry out

Always one of our stops when staying in Navarre Beach. You will not be disappointed with the quality of food for the price point.

Great food at a great price. Fresh catches change every day. Get your sea food cooked anyway you want. All the sides are wonderful. No table service; nothing fancy, just great food with a smile.

Food is pretty good. The sides were very tasty and the fried okra was perfect. They get busy at dinner time. Extremely casual.

This is what local seafood is all about. Note that you will have to queue up when you enter to order, like a fast food place. But, there is nothing fast food about it. Everything seemed cooked to order and the seafood was excellent. We had fried oysters - fat and juicy from Apalachicola - and red snapper filet. The snapper was blackened and cooked perfectly. Prices were beyond reasonable and much lower than anything we saw at the beach. If you go to Navarre, go to Scooters.

We did enjoy the food, especially the coleslaw and potato salad. I had the fish tacos and they were good. A corn tortilla option would have been good as the flour tortilla was cold and heavy. We would come back here for sure

Brought In our fresh caught snapper and they cooked it for us. It was better than any other seafood we had on our trip. Everything we had there was delicious. Definitely recommend them.

Very tasty fresh local fish. I had the grilled fish of the day Amberjack lunch plate and my wife had the amberjack fish tacos. The fish was cooked correctly and the side dishes of cole slaw and hush puppies were good. Prices have increased a little, like all prices, since 2022 but the food is still good.

$80 (after 20% tip) got us two platters, three drinks, and one local beer that we split between two adults and two children. The food is okay but not worth $80 for what we got. It was all cooked well enough but the flavor was fairly mid. I'd have felt comfortable with paying $40 for what we had. The place is clean and the staff are friendly, though. I can go across the bridge and have a view with my meal for this price. We're locals and won't be coming back so long as the prices are this high.

First time visiting in vacation. It was rated highly so had to check it out. Food was great and hope to come back.

What happened to this place? Nearly $60 total! My dinner were a few 6 tiny shrimp in the dinner meal. Our fried fish was not Mahi as I'd ordered! It tasted like cheap whitefish! Slaw bland as was the potato salad! Only fries were acceptable. We used to go for years with no complaints!! New owners? Get newchef/cooks! And the register people are not nice!

Good place for quick and fresh seafood. The service was good. Food was prepared quickly. Everything tasted fresh. There is quite a bit of seating inside. Serving sizes are large, especially when paired with sides.

On vacation from Missouri this was our second time here and our very first stop , even before the beach. The food was just as we remembered!!! We had fish tacos , Mai Mai, and chicken tacos !! Soooo good !!!

WOW. Just WOW. We debated about dinner for takeout and So Glad we chose to come here. Best fried shrimp bang bang shrimp and a grilled seafood platter and fish of day. So good. Cooked perfectly. Portions great. Sides. We had fries hushpuppies slaw cheese grits and potato salad were All wonderful. Cocktail and tarter sauce were also really good. Extremely pleased. Service was fast and friendly. A Must Stop in Navarre. Definitely recommend and will Return. Ty so much.

The tacos are AMAZING! We had the Grilled Chicken Taco, Grilled Fish Taco, and Bang Bang Taco. The gilled ones have the best taste. The slaw/pico/dressing combo is so good. Inside the restaurant is nice and clean, and the service was fast. The hush puppies are amazing as well. Visited this place more than once on our trip, and I honestly would've eaten here every day and not gotten tired of it. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing service and food!!! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Fried oysters, shrimp, chicken, and fish. Blackened mahi mahi was to die for. Loaded fries with shrimp were really good as well. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff, what else could you ask for?

The fish here was great. However, it felt like I was eating in a deep freezer! The air conditioning was cranked super high, and this is coming from someone who lives in Minnesota. If your employees are wearing sweatshirts in the warmer months, this is probably a sign that you need to fix your thermostat.

1st time I ate there had a bad experience with 1 of the cashiers there ,and gave them only one ⭐.but i was there again and they totally rocked. We all make mistakes, no one is perfect,we all have our days. Great food .good service. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Keep it up 💪 guys .

I decided to try the Amberjack. Bam! Less expensive and better than the Grouper! Fries were great and cole slaw was too. Hush Puppies were awesome. Food was out quickly, I loved my meal. I will be back. (our fishing guide recommended this place - thanks Captain Casey)

The food tasted fantastic! We ate here twice on our vacation and had fried shrimp, amber jack, and mahi mahi. The potato salad was also yummy! It was all VERY fresh! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

Food was fresh and delicious but the service was horrible. There was plenty of staff just standing around doing nothing while the line was out the door. They don’t wait tables so I am unsure what they do. One girl taking orders was extremely slow and one filling plates. The other three ladies were just standing with their arms folded until one table in the back left two hours before closing and they rushed to close that section. They were not friendly but the cook was obviously working hard and the food was really good.

The tacos are amazing here, best chicken fingers ever too! The Bang Bang sauce is a must try. Highly recommend if you are visiting Navarre

I have to say how disappointed I was in the food at Scooters. It’s been 3-4 years since we’ve been here, so they must have a new cook. My shrimp was rubber it was cooked way too long. We will not be going back. Time to give someone else our money. For almost 50.00 that was the worse seafood I have ever had. 😩

We were visiting Florida from Wisconsin, Scooter's was recommended by the resort were staying . So very glad we came here! The food was amazing, the staff were warm and friendly! It is the only place we ate, while in Navarre Beach.We went several times!! Great place, we highly recommend!

Just a small place that is a hidden gem. I had the Mahi and Shrimp both grilled. They both had a great grill flavor and good spice.

Chicken sandwich plain. No anything but meat and bread!!! Had to push for some mayo. Lettuce and tomato extra. We passed on that. Geez. Also got 2 shrimp tacos. Nothing special. No drinks. All total almost 25.00!! No thanks. Never again. No wonder parking lot empty during lunch.

This place is the real deal. Best seafood in Navarre!

Great grits! Magical overcooked but still yummy.

My wife and I showed up 25 minutes before closing. We were informed that they had already turned everything off. Closing means that’s when you lock the doors and stop serving customers not the time an employee leaves. Bad enough our choices are limited around here but when places close early it makes it that much worse. Update to my initial review. The owner responded and I reached out to him to explain the situation. The GM then reached out to me. I appreciate them reaching out to resolve the issue. Like I told the GM the only thing I need to make it right is for them to serve until their advertised closing time. Again thanks for listening to your customers. Therefore I changed my review from 1 to 5 stars based off all the other times we’ve eaten there.

A little pricey, we spent $95 on 2 kids meals, 2 chicken tacos and a fish/shrimp dinner. Tacos were good, fish was ok.

Food was meh. No longer have soft shell crab.

Great prices. Shrimp is a good deal for 10 medium size with 2 sides. Potato salad was good too.

1. They served us our food on 2 plastic dirty, sticky trays that are very obviously never washed.... I had to go wash my hands between receiving my food and eating. 2. There's a giant jug for customers to serve themselves tartar sauce. There's a solid crust on the opening of the spout that makes it at least look unsafe. 3. One of the racthet staff that make up most their staff was rude to my wife when she asked for a bowl of cocktail sauce; she did not want to use the gross condiment jugs. 4. This place sure isn't what it used to be not all that long ago and that's too bad.

You place your order when you come in and get your own utensils and sauces. They have a daily special I choose the Amberjack it's was perfectly cooked the baked beans were yummy!

Scooters is hands down the best fish in the area! Their grilled red snapper sandwich is the best. Make sure to get it as it comes with tartar and slaw. So delicious!

Had Mahi Mahi tacos and husband had fish plate, grilled mahi.excellent fish!!! My only complaint was the fried okra was super woody because it was too large. Tacos were really good, wish they had more Pico and some salsa would be awesome too! Staff are awesome, friendly, and helped explain all the menu options. Plenty of parking too.

The fish itself is fresh and delicious! I’ve been here 5+ times in last 2yrs and it has been excellent. However on this last visit I found their sauces to be extremely salty and not to my liking. The tarter was a bit soupy and heavy on the mayo flavor. The bang bang shrimp sauce was not spicy and overly salty. Both flavors took away from what I know to be a good fish flavor. The fries were similarly seasoned off the plate. Coleslaw is very good and hush puppies too if you like them, you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly. Despite the number of employees and the fact it was a slow time in the afternoon it took awhile for our food order to come up. Quality takes time however this visit was too salty for my liking. Unfortunately they have also implemented a credit card surcharge for take out orders as well. You cannot order over the phone without paying with a card so impossible to avoid the fee if ordering take out. Only option is to order in person, pay and wait for your food. This does encourage you to visit their restaurant and if it’s convenient for you, you’ll enjoy the experience.

This is always a must stop place for us every beach vacation in the area! The seafood is always fresh and fantastic! Great value as well. Great casual family place!

We had fish and chips and fried fish tacos. Lightly battered and fresh. Everything was fresh and great. Do not drive by scooters. Oh yeah! Staff is way over the top!

Gumbo was way too salty, hush puppies tasteless, grilled fish of the day and coleslaw were good but the portions were small.

We had a great time. We had the blackened mahi-mahi and the gumbo. The staff was Awesome they even let me try the gumbo before I bought some. Can't wait to go back.

Please...stop adding a ton of salt prior to the food coming out! You have salt at the counter!! In the last year I had to stop eating and throw it away. several times...because all I could taste was the SALT! Let us add our own salt please!!! Love your staff and food but apparently every once in awhile...the salt fairy uses a whole shaker of salt. Not the 1st time I have asked her and in person! Love ur cucumber salad and I know you think it is season...but we would stop just for that item! Slaw and hush puppies on point!

We will not be back to Scooters sadly! Last 2 times we have eaten there the shrimp is not good. The cheese grits, french fries, Cole slaw, baked beans, and hushpuppies are 5 star. The shrimp has a weird batter undercooked and look deformed? The okra didn't taste like okra, dirty grease? The coctail sauce was like water and had no kick at all, it was NOT right. Bang bang sauce had no bang. You don't pay 20.00 a plate for good cheese grits and French fries. I won't be recommending Scooters anymore.

The staff here are truly so kind and hard working. My husband and I have been coming here for years and we love it.

Their new Chargrilled Oysters are fabulous. I love the breadcrumbs because the soak up the butter and spices. The cashier/server was great as well with a wonderful attitude on very cold Sunday.

We eat here 3 or 4 times every winter. This being our 7th year doing so, we have decided the food was well below our expectations. After spending $52.31 on a dinner meal for us two, we will decide never to return. Okra was excellent as always, but the fried oysters and shrimp were well below previous meals. Going to Long John Slivers....

This is a local gem. The price for what you get is beyond reasonable. Kids loved the bang chicken and shrimp. They were cooked extremely perfect, juicy still! Fries are crispy. Tried the BBQ, quite good, although I didn't see any bacon bits. I didn't miss them, but due diligence. I got the grilled platter. Oysters are always fried. The shrimp were big and seasoned to perfection, grilled chicken was the same. The Cole slaw is the dark horse winner... Not too much or too little of anything. I'd come back in a heart beat. The food came out so quickly the kids couldn't misbehave!

We ordered a lot!!!! Even the potato salad was amazing! The chicken taco, loaded potato, grilled mahi dinner. All fresh but its the flavors that i will remember for life! About to get the mango fish dip to go! It must be great like everything else. Thank you

The portions should be a little bigger

The food is fresh and tasty, the restaurant is extremely clean. No greasy smell of some other restaurants. I'm not big on the picnic table experience, but the food is as good as you can find in the area. Terrific hush puppies and tacos too.

It is not often I give a five-star review, however I have always been met with smiles, helpful employees, great food, a clean environment, and great interactions with the staff. I have yet to have anything bad here, and everything on the menu is delicious. I have sampled almost everything on it. Even the sweet tea / unsweet tea has good flavor. Service is fast as long as they are not overwhelmed with people, the food is cooked properly, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. I'm not certain I would pay $30 for the platter, because it is about the same size as the dinner plus a fillet of fish (I forget if it was some form of whitefish or not) for an extra $15 vs the popcorn shrimp and similar dinner plates. If you like grits, the cheese grits are slightly spicy but barely. Highly recommend those as well as the barbecue beans being phenomenal. They taste like something I would have at an actual barbecue. I will definitely be back and this is my third visit now, I believe. Very consistent place, though it can get crowded during touristy months and no business goes without suffering a little when they are overrun. Once again, highly recommend!
