Found the space on Google. Did not disappoint. Quaint and sweet space. Family is very welcoming. Cuisine is outstanding, very affordable, and authentic. A return visit for sure.

We came here with recommendations and we didn't regret! We ordered burek (filo dough with ground meat) with yogurt .One of the best I ever tried. My wife took with spinach and cheese it was also very tasty.We came here two days from Clearwater just for burek🤣. Today we tried ćevapi and karađorđeva šnicla very taste . Service is really good and Dana the owner is amasing. 5 star for food and service👍

I recently visited and tried their Ćevapi, and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing! As a Turk, I usually stick to my own cuisine, but this dish really blew me away. I highly recommend this place—you won't be disappointed!

This was a fantastic discovery we made today. My wife and I were in the mood for Mediterranean food. Greek, Turkish, anything. Found Serbian Mediterranean Restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all. We shared both the small Ćevapi and the Mješano Meso. The Ćevapi is like five Serbian style kefta links served on some Serbian wheat bread. It comes with tomatoes and onions on the side along with a yogurt dollop to add some tanginess to the dish. I want to call it a sandwich, but I think that's belittling it. It was so good. The other dish, mixed meat platter, was just as fantastic. It was like a Serbian version of what Mexicans would call a parillada. Grilled meats and sausages along with bread to bring everything together. We will definitely be back as there are many other intriguing things on the menu we want to try.

As soon as I entered this Place I was greeted with a Smile and Politeness! That’s the first step you make when you Greet a Customer that comes to your Business but many Companies now are slacking on that Greeting because they think that we the Customers depend on them instead of the other way around ! Anyways,…. The Food here was really Unbelievable and so Tasty and fresh. I give them 10 out of 10 score overall satisfaction!……

Truly a taste of home. I can't get over the delicious chevapi, and the pita. The tomatoes in my salad were like from my garden. Had to get take out to bring Baba--what a treat!

Best Mediterranean food in st pete area.

The older gentleman welcomed us in with a warm smile and took great pride in his homemade delicacies. It was as though I was eating with my grandparents and you could feel the love just the same. Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere, and absolutely prepared with love and great care. You just go!

First time here so I tried new things. I had lamb stew that came with a hot crusty bread. Also salad. Very fresh and delicious.. well def be back

Awesome place. It's in a bit of a quiet plaza but it's worth the visit. Brane and his wife make great Ćevapi and a bunch of other things. We had a Šopska salad, feta fries and several portions of ćevapi there. Great guy, made us feel like family, amazing experience. I think this is the only pan-Balkan restaurant in the area. While we were there there were several Bosnians, Macedonians etc. Everyone is welcome.

Service was ok, had the burger. Size of the meal was good but was really fatty. They also said “they don’t have any tap water, but sold bottles of water. Wish I picked something else on the menu.

The best cevapi out there by far!

I got minced beef sausages called “chivapi”. (I had no idea what I was ordering. Just showed the man behind the counter a photo of what I thought looked good). The Chivapi comes with sour cream, onions, a tomato slice and Mediterranean pita. The meat is seasoned just right. You can taste the seasoning and the beef equally. The veggies are SUPER fresh and the bread is grilled so it’s warm. The cucumber salad is delicious, although maybe a bit under seasoned for a salad. It’s more like fresh chopped cucumber, but still delicious. The baklava is fantastic! Fresh, not completely drenched in honey syrup but there’s definitely enough there that it’s not dry. The portions are substantial to say the least. 2 people could’ve eaten off my plate easily. The man behind the counter was so excited to hear I was trying Serbian food for the first time (as was I to try it). You can tell this man loves the food he serves. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was good. Menu is mostly meat. Be warned that this restaurant refused to give free water (owner said filter was broken) and you need to purchase water. There is also a mandatory 3.5% extra charge for credit card transactions.

I love to try ethnic food, so this is my first venture into Serbian dishes. We were hiking prior to our arrival, so we wanted to wash up before eating. One bathroom for customers isn’t bad for this modest place, but no toilet paper (empty roll), and no hand drier or paper towels ( empty roll on window sill) made me hope the staff had their own facilities. Cevapi was the most popular dish instructed the waitress. I would have loved to order a lamb dish, but only lamb stew was available. My wife ordered a chicken dish. Both arrived in a timely manner. My dish, which appeared like multiple breakfast sausage links, was sandwiched inside a large hamburger bun. The menu said “pita”, but the contents quickly mushed the lower half of “bun”. The meat was beef and the seasoning wasn’t anything special. I ate half. If this is Serbian, I am not a fan. Lots of great reviews brought us here? My wife ate half her chicken and took the other half home.

My Serbian neighbor brought me here and it was absolutely a treat. We ordered the Chevapi along with some other grilled meat dishes and it was all amazing. Service was great and the restaurant is adorable.

The restaurant is lovely, and the owner is incredibly friendly—a really cool guy. The atmosphere is great, but personally, I find the food a bit too greasy, tasteless :-(, It might just be my preference.

Good food. The bread and beef , even the chicken breast tasted delicious. Apple cake was very nice, the baklava not so much. I wish we did the giant burger, it looked great. Maybe will go again to try it. Owner and his family are very nice. Prices are reasonable. Suggestion: add a simple kids menue please!

Fresh, authentic, & cozy traditional cuisine at a good price in a family owned environment. Everything is made to order, don't come hangry ;) While it's not as fast as some other restaurants, it's always worth the (short) wait. We're always greeted with a smile and the food is fantastic. We typically get salad, meat, and bread and leave with leftovers. My favorites are the sopska salata and the sudzukice. The meat is SO flavorful and you'll feel happy and not heavy. 10/10!!!

I just like everything about this place starting with excellent service amazing and tasty food. Owner Brane and his Daughter co-owner Dana are experts in everything what they do, from entering restaurant they greet you with warm welcome to outstanding service. I and my whole family are grateful to have restaurant to go eat lunch, dinner and feel like we’re back home in Bosnia. My family friends and guests at Sarasota had a chance to taste delicious food that they prepared and delivered. Dana did amazing job for our delicious food decorating big platers and desserts. Just Perfect. I would like to say thank you from bottom of our hearts for amazing catering to Dana at Serbian Mediteran Restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

I came here to celebrate my Serbian friend's birthday I traveled thanks to him, it was a culinary journey all the dishes are excellent, the meat was so tender and very tasty if you also want to travel in a Mediterranean atmosphere! Come in

I read the reviews and it sounded like a place I wanted to eat. I always prefer a family owned place over a chain. It's in a small commercial strip, but I was surprised at how attractive and inviting the interior was. Beautifully decorated with a rustic, but elegant feel. I went at an off time, but there were a few other customers. I ordered the grilled meats platter with the grilled soft puffy bread. It was 2 varieties of sausage, boneless chicken, boneless pork, and a seasoned ground beef patty..... all grilled, of course. It came with the grilled puffy bread, some chopped fresh onion and some sour cream. It was all delicious. I didn't know exactly what kind of sausage but it didn't matter as I enjoyed it all. They had a wide variety on the menu including some delicious looking salads. But I had too much food in the platter to order anything else. I did have a piece of custard cake that was very good. And I got a piece of a different custard cake with chocolate to go. I enjoyed everything. I'll stop again when I'm visiting from Tampa again. A great place for reasonably priced home cooked food in a lovely atmosphere.

This was our first time at Serbian Mediteran. It's very clean and pleasant inside. Our food was delicious. We will probably try it again for a lunch or dinner meal.

It's a Serbian meat paradise!! Quite delicious. The Mixed grill platter comes with this ahmazzzing Serbian traditional (soft, pillowy, fluffy) pita bread. That pairs so well with the grilled meats. I recommend a salad as well. You'll be stuffed and need a doggy bag. Well, styrofoam container. Looks like a family affair here and it's all cooked to order. So come with a little patience, and your tummy will be rewarded with some fine quality traditional European food.

Amazing food. The sour cream is like nothing most Americans experience. While there are vegetarian options, it is primarily meats and pita, but they are wonderfully done. The desserts are out of this world

Authentic serbian Mediterranean food, we came to this place not expecting much but a regular Mediterranean style dinner, to my surprise, we found this place to be amazing, very authentic and home made style food, seasoned to perfection, all ingredients very fresh and food is made from scratch not frozen CISCO type of food here... we ordered the charcuterie board that came with fried bread balls, it was so good we ordered extra fried bread, the sampler platter was super delicious and abundant, will definitely work for two people and you will get satisfied. Service was lacking a little, the lady was kind of behind the counter doing some paperwork and we have to keep calling her for our basic needs, but food make up for it. We loved the place, and definitely will be coming back for more when we are back in the area.

A great representation of not being talked about enough! The food is like the everyday person, simple but complex. With its very regular ingredients but packed with flavor, my first bite hooked me onto Serbian cuisine. It is a small place but feels like home. The guy running the place was super friendly and accommodating. My advice, get out of your routine, try something new and stop in here.

The most delicious, mouth-watering bbq platter/ ćevape meat I ever had! The pljeskavica is great as well, so is the bread (lepinja), the salads are fresh & yummy, big portions!!!! ***** Everything is clean in the restaurant! Desserts, especially 'krem-pita' are delicious! Bravo!

The Food is amazing, great portions, VERY reasonable prices, & friendly service. The owner and his wife are so nice and hard working, they hustle and aim to please (typical Eastern Europeans) I want this place to stay open forever and forever!!! Must go and try delicious Balkan food & other great items, love the Europeans atmosphere as well. Puno Hvala!

We had lunch at this restaurant and the food was delicious. Everything is made fresh! Soup, salads, main dishes. Staff is very friendly and welcoming to anyone. Prices are affordable, not expensive. Come check this place and ćevapi. Well deserved five stars.

An okay snack place. The tripe soup smelled bad and had an aftertaste, like it hadn't been cleaned properly. I've had tripe at different places and know the difference between good tripe and bad tripe. The mixed meat platter was okay.
