Came to Miami for my bday. Wanted a nice seafood meal for fresh seafood. Shockers had great review and it was 2 min from our condo rental. We dressed up expecting a romantic oceanview dinner. Instead we got a sports bar at best. Online said they closed at 12 on Saturday. We arrived at 10pm and were told the kitchen had already closed. However the manager said we could order food. Once we sat at the bar to order another person came to the bartender to say the kitchen was closed. We order. Me: Fried whole snapper cooked medium with double veggies. My husband: Burger med with fries. The snapper was so well done it tasted burnt, the veggies, snow peas, carrots, red pepper was complete limp. Fries came out cold, burger was well done. We also ordered drinks. Me: Tito, sprite w/lime. My husband: asked the bartender for her specialty. A watermelon margarita w/ Don Julio. After 2 bites of food and 2 sips are our drink we were DONE! A total disappointment and bday dinner ruined! Enough said! Proceed at your own risk!

I highly recommend the fish dip and the dolphin (mahi mahi) fingers, fried or blackened. Shuckers is a must if you’re visiting town or need a place to take visitors because it is one of the only places to eat that’s right on the water. It has a calming, beautiful view of north Biscayne bay. There isn’t really a view of the setting sun, but you can still see the beautiful sunset sky colors. Often times I’ve seen dolphin swimming and feeding in the bay. The food options tend towards bar food but there are plenty of seafood options that are quite good. And the bar is great!! Lots and lots of ice cold options on draft and in bottles. Shuckers is truly a gem.

Closed an hour and a half early on a Friday walked all the way here and couldn't get food or a drink. I won't be back

This was an amazing place that i used to visit a lot, last night i went there looking on the website the hours of operation. The manager told me that it was closed since 10:30 pm, you can't see it on the website, finally i could get inside because my cousin was there and they were refusing to serve a Mojito, when he decided to say yes it was more water than alcohol. This place is going down I dont recommend it anymore.

I loved the atmosphere here, it felt like I wasn’t in Miami , it felt like the keys or Ft. Lauderdale, it was a lot more peaceful especially with the waterfront seating and people parking boats to come in. The service was awesome and the food delicious, I’ll definitely come back.

The quality of the food has suffered over the years. The special grill wings were once zesty and great. Now they're very bland. The views are still spectacular!

Place was dirty. Food was cold and awful. Fish sandwich had more bread than fish. No flavor. Bathrooms were disgusting. Only decent thing was the view. Go elsewhere. Even the drinks were bad.

Shuckers is one of the few waterfront restaurants that still has that true old Florida feel in Miami! Beautiful bay views, especially around sunset in the early evening. The tropical drinks are great! A little pricey, but you pay for the experience as well. There is a gofundme online to try to save this Miami staple! Please sign if you can. We 🤍 Shuckers !!!

Devastating news to everyone in the neighborhood that Shuckers will be closing at the end of the year. As the only casual dining spot on the water in Miami, this has been a staple hangout for all of us. We do not look forward to the loud obnoxious DJ's and overpriced food and drinks that is to come. I wish there was something we as patrons could do to save Shuckers.

First time here and the view is very beautiful. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming. Our server was very attentive and making frequent rounds asking is we needed anything else. My only concern was the cut of meat. I ordered a churrasco. The cut of meat I received is flap meat. I know my cuts of meat very well as my father was a butcher. I did let the server know told him this isn't his fault yet as a nice customer perhaps another person who sees this will make a bigger complain about.

Shuckers is/was a fun, approachable & friendly place. A great place to watch sports, enjoy the view & meet interesting folks. It was a great change from the exclusivity & soullessness of many other spots. It knew what it was & did it well. Will be missed by this disappointed patron.

From the outside you can't see how spectacular the place is, the people who serve you make you feel spectacular. It will be one of my new favorite places and together with the view they are deliciously correct.

Food good but over priced. Service was good. However…TERRIBLE policy regarding large groups of people. They will not seperate checks….their menu says no separate checks 10 people or more. We had 9 and they still would not allow it. I would NOT RETURN to this place with a big group of people. Not customer conscience restaurant. They do what is easiest for the business not the customer. Come on Shuckers! Shuck that policy!

Shuckers offers exactly what you'd expect from a sports bar: decent food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is lively, perfect for catching a game with friends. However, the occasional smell from the bay can be unpleasant, detracting slightly from the overall experience. Despite this, Shuckers remains a solid choice for casual dining and sports viewing in the area.

Avoid Shuckers! I received terrible service and a surprise $19.44 service charge on my bill. I thought it was a suggested tip, but it was added without my knowledge on top of the $15 tip I already paid. I'm considering to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Right on the water. Expansive menu options that are all great... Everyone can find something to love and savor. If you have a boat drive it up and enjoy from the dock. Great and friendly service.

Such a shame there is no option to put zero stars… I don’t mind drinks in a plastic cup with the sweat dripping in it from the bartender, but not for $20. It tasted like a drink from a college house party with a dash of Mr.Clean. The bartender remade it with an attitude but it was still completely not drinkable so we left them untouched. The burger good but nothing spectacular and the portion of Calamari was a tiny portion and pathetic. At the end they still charged us for the drink even though we didn’t drink it and were obviously dissatisfied. In short, we won’t be coming back!

The hostess was very unwelcoming (“how can I help you”? With an upset face), the food was not worthy of its price (I ordered curry salmon and it was dry and overcooked with warm potato purée of hard consistency), the dessert was served with out the fork/ spoon until I asked for it, the drinks were with very little booze but lots of ice. The waiters look like they are serving their sentence at this place. The line pie was good.

Amazing waterfront spot! Hard to find an actual waterfront restaurant in the Miami area! Food was just ok, but the location and drinks make up for it! Plenty of tv’s if you want to watch sports!

We gave the waiter the cash tip and they still charged us in the transaction for the amount on the card, so they charged us double. We called the supposed manager Robert and he told us that the tip was included in a party of more than 10 people, which we agree with, we even gave him more than what he said but cash. Well, Robert told us that the cash we gave the waiter was an extra. I don't know how the waiter interpreted it but I made it very clear on the payment receipt the amount I owed and separately (cash) I gave him the tip, which I repeat was more than the amount.

The wings were popular now taste frozen I won’t go back food not same chuckers in Miami bay village by the water even the service and management not the same no customer care We got rained outside our oyester plater full of water 3 wings left on the table manager Joseph went to the table thru it out then argue with me there was only one wing I said 3 unbelievable the drinks sitting at the table getting wet the waitress kept us wait didn’t get anything off the table not taking care of the situation we we’re standing practically told us is to bad theres a policy if it rains is to bad I said you need to have a sign saying that or tell people I pulled a table inside nobody said anything one waitress put food on the table that I brought in some people left without paying they were smart then waitress came out of the kitchen brought the plate with dolphin fingers and placed it on that table still nobody doing a thing we are standing no seat dolphin fingers getting cold no seats I spoke to the manager Joseph he thru dolphin fingers out brought new ones gave us 1/2 dozen oysters 3 wings pulled table to a corner dryed it up never again goin back been coming for years the wings are Horble don’t taste same taste old the dolphin fingers taste old I still can’t believe it i need to ad my sister wanted to seat in a table that people were done instead of the one they dried it was a tall table so people left everything was taken we sat and the waitress Evary had the nerve to tell us next time you have to wait till I wipe it down no costumer service she should not even make a comment when she didn’t do a thing and let our food and drinks get wet didnt get it off the table at this point I got response to my review that the people who I mentioned are not there and that I got wrong buissnes this restaurant definitely has problems they definitely want to cover themselves by this response the people either got fired or lie about there names the gentleman that said he was Joseph called himself manager was a black man and the young short chubby dark hair young lady who was Cuban the waitress so they lie about there names people caution this buissnes is not honest

Popped in for happy hour and stayed for dinner...

I went with a group of friends for dinner April 2nd. The hostess was not welcoming or friendly. She said there was only 1 table to fit 7 people available by the live music so it was very noisy. Besides the deck, everything was empty. Not to be rude, we considered accepting it and just asked of they had TVs near to watch the Heat game. Suddenly she said there was a table we could sit at by the bar. Thi is the second trip here. The first time last year the waitress waa so rude, barely acknowledging us and giving attitude. She even forgot my order of fried calamari. I think there is a trend on type of personalities they hire. I dont plan to go back in the future sadly. Atomosphere is nice.

Have been there few times, not because of the Food but because of the atmosphere to bring friends that are visiting Miami Beach.

Great view!!! food ... not so great but not terrible either. Ribs were fall off the bone with a nice sweet bbq sauce but again just average. Nothing spectacular. Good Margaritas. Alfredo was ok. The closing hours are subject to change. Don't go by Google might want to call first and the night I went they said the live music had ended at 9p. So that was a let down as well. Bartenders were awesome and welcoming.

Robert provided excellent customer service. Food was great and atmosphere amazing. I recommend the chicken wings.

Wonderful right by the beach food!

This waterfront sports bar is a great place to watch the action on the intercoastal. Great for small groups. If you have a large group i suggest Duffy's on 163st.

I came to this place the other day. I did not give a tip because I did not like the service. Money has been debited from my card twice without my permission. and I complained about them. Customers going there should be careful as too much money is being withdrawn from their accounts. I complained to the necessary places

I have been coming to this place off and on since it was on the 2end floor indoors with a pool table back in the 80's . Always liked it even then. Back then it was quiet and not many knew of it. The outside was downstairs came into existence and it became popular. The menu was possibly a bit larger then. I am not sure if there is a second evening menu. I stopped in for a late lunch. They have remodeled since creating a new seawall and new outside deck dining. For good reason which I will pass on explaining. I used to gather with a few fitness trainers wat and drink all day while playing Vollyball there close to the bar. The view is nothing short of serious Marine bay delicious. A great aquatic experience if you love water or have a boat to pull up in. This is where outdoor dining becomes the thing to do and enjoy. I thought the service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and attentive. I had a Mahi Mahi sandwich with the most delicious fries. Mahi served on a bun with lettuce tomato and onion along with a small cup of tartar sauce. It was enough to satisfy my appetite. I recommend giving Shuckers a try. You can come in your shorts and flip flops or casual office attire. Either way is ok. Dining alone e , with family, or on a date makes no difference it's a nice atmosphere to plant yourself in for some down time. Enjoy!!!

absolutely horrible customer service. The hostess answers my questions with “I don’t know” not willing to find out anything I asked. I was hung up on twice and the manager was ridiculously rude. I cannot believe a Miami staple employs people like this. I would truly reconsider going ANYWHERE else over this. To treat ppl this way is unnecessary when they are trying to bring you business. But these people apparently don’t care about their job, don’t give a damn about their community either. A shame.

My daughter and I came to enjoy some wings and watch the beautiful sunset on a beautiful Saturday evening. Please note that we live in Miami Beach and have been coming to Shuckers for years but hadn’t been here in a minute. They're known for their wings, and we specifically came here for them because they're so good. Upon receiving our order, we were shook. Not only had the recipe noticeably changed but there was not a wing in sight! They were all DRY, flavorless drumettes. We were absolutely heartbroken. I could've gotten these kind of wings anywhere. Long gone were the juicy, piping hot grilled wings. Beyond disappointing. Our bartender was fabulous as was our fish dip. I have to say that other than the gorgeous waterfront view, if you want good wings, avoid this place at all costs. I feel awful for saying this, but Shuckers has just become another dive bar with mediocre bar food.

Ordered 2 fish tacos , fries, appetizer. 3 beers and was charged $235. I almost fell out of my chair . Tacos were cold . Paid a lot for the view. Tourist trap.

The place was very cozy, the service was very pleasant, the food was delicious, Tayler served us, he was very professional and made us feel super good. Highly recommended.

Fun, convivial atmosphere. Food was very good. I had the wings -- they are outstanding. Service was lacking because of either a mixup or lack of enough personnel on duty. Water was not replenished. Ordered beverages were not brought. An order in our party was incorrect, was sent back, and then never appeared. Very unsatisfying and unsatisfactory. However, I will give the management kudos for coming to our table to address the matter when I protested about it, and they gave us a significant reduction on our bill. I understand that problems are going to occur occasionally. All that I can expect is that staff or management try to make it right, which they did. Thanks.

I have come several times and today is the last day I come. just checked my bank account and I see that they added a tip 3 times larger that the amount I left, I want to think that it is a mistake and not that they are stealing from me. I always give very good tips, but today a blonde girl served my gf and me and the service was horrible so I just gave her 10$ tip

Great place! The food was outstanding but the service slow

Super disappointing. Sitting on the back deck is beautiful but that’s as far as a highlight this place can get. The food was mediocre. I wanted the fish tacos but wanted them to simply leave the sour cream off. The server informed me that no modifications could be made. That’s the most ridiculous thing ever. How hard would it have been to just not put the sour cream on the taco?!?! I ended up getting Caesar salad with salmon added. $16 salad that they didn’t even have the decency to put in a bowl. The salad was served on a small plate. My husband got the catch of the day, and it was just ok. Definitely have no desire to try them again.

Didn’t get water until 20 minutes after being seated and had to wait for food to come out for atleast 40 minutes. Our grilled octopus was swimming in oil. The table next to us had a raw burger that was inedible and had to be sent back.

Worst experience ever....rude hostess....was told i would be seated in less than 45 minutes...got a seat 2 hours later....i saw others came after me and was seated with no reservations...i was racially profiled ...terrible food....over priced...my drinks were water down....

Good place, good atmosphere and good food

Host service sucks , I been a host for five years and I never seen it this bad. Waited an hour to be seated for a table of 3 meanwhile a 2 top will walk in and get seated right away. Update , we ordered food just for the food to come out cold !!!! I ordered the Easter special shrimp and lobster pasta for the lobster to be cold like if it just came out the refrigerator. The mashed potatoes was hard like a rock and cold , my kids chicken tender was cold , steak was cooked completely wrong. I wouldn’t even give this place a one star. Absolutely zero !!

Terrible costumer service, manager extremely rude!

Misty was our server tonight with our group of 5. We were recommended this place by a local and were super excited to come here. We put in drinks with her and it took over 20 minutes to get my 1 beer I ordered. We attempted to see where she was in the restaurant to cancel the drink but she was not around and didn't check in with our table until she brought the beer out. I told her I didn't want it anymore because it took so long and we just wanted to eat and leave but she was super rude and her attitude was horrible. When I told her I didn't want it because it took almost 25 minutes she proceeded to still rudely ask why in the snarkiest way and then also told me she could grab a manager but I would have to pay for it. I didn't end up asking for one from her but then later on I did go up to 2 different staff members asking to have someone come to our table but no one showed up for another 20+ minutes. Our food order was also incorrect, a manager did end up correcting our order but then a different manager had to assist us. She also auto grated us even though we were a party of 5 and they auto grat for 6 so we had to ask for that to be removed. She also called the kitchen staff "re**rded" for messing up our modified salad order after it came out incorrectly and directed the blame on them stating she rung it in the right way. She also told us that our food was coming out 3 separate times in the span of 30 minutes. The last manager that took the service charge off and corrected our bills and wrong food/ comps + was super helpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to sit and wait and get horrible service. A table next to us hadn't even gotten waters and was sitting for over 30+ minutes with nothing on their table. I am appalled by this servers attitude and service. The language used was disgusting and she has a foul mouth. I am in the service industry myself for 6+ years and have never received service like this in my life nor have I come close to even remotely speaking to customers the way she spoke to us. Food was also MID AF!

I absolutely love this place. It sits waterfront with Great views of biscayne bay, with pretty good seafood, and a wide variety of menu options for the entire family. A Solid drinks menu, although I think their cocktails could be a little stronger. Nonetheless I absolutely enjoy going here.

The food, service, and atmosphere were great but you can’t really come here as an impatient person the amount of waiting I had to do was insane. The food was tasty and our server was nice as well as the atmosphere here by the water but jeez was there a wait. First it was an hour to get in but that is understandable since I tried to get a nice seat by the water. Appetizers took about 20 minutes but once we ordered our entrees that’s when it hit. Took about an hour or more for two just two dishes to arrive. I mean we saw people standing up and leaving right in front of us. Luckily we at least got our food and then even the check took some time as well. I think it’s a matter of the kitchen and staff because I feel like they are unprepared for the large amount of people that come on these busy days. Keep in mind this was a Friday too, not even the weekend. But that’s the average experience here on a busy day, not much else to take note of.
