We had Sidewalk Chef cater a family dinner and they did an outstanding job. They took the time to go over the meal options for everyone to also include several vegan options. The food was ready as promised with clear instructions of how to warm the food prior to serving. Not only was everything exceptionally prepared, but the food itself was beyond tasty! Everyone could not quit commenting on how wonderful each and every item was and many of them even had second servings. The staff and owners at Sidewalk Chef are beyond helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Sidewalk Chef to anyone whether it be for a dining out experience or catering event for either a small or large gathering!

So I ordered meatloaf but sadly had no idea it was impossible meat, as it just said meatloaf on the online menu. Distinct taste of soy and curry and I only noticed it until I tasted it, but the veggies and mash potatoes were really good. A little expensive too wish I had known I would definetly like to try something else 😢

A young woman stopped me on the street and offered me Sidewalk Chef Kitchen menus and a baked treat. I was apprehensive, but they looked beautiful. Between cookies and a macaroon, I chose the gluten-free choco chip coconut macaroon. It was delicious and I ate the entire thing! I hope I don't die from accepting food from a stranger, but at least I'll die having eaten something really tasty. (not pictured: the already-eaten macaroon)

Stopped by for lunch at this spot with my favorite person. Most certainly a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. The ambiance is very homey, Bri our waitress was amazing she has a great personality, charming, charismatic and very funny. We were able to do food tasting prior to ordering which is very different and unique. We ordered veggie soup, salmon, yellow rice and eggplant, my person ordered same salmon with white rice and spinach. The ice teas were delicious as well! If you are in the area it’s a must for breakfast and lunch! We recommend you to go have your own experience and thank me later 😊

The Fresh Express is a great option for lunch during a busy day. Chef creates new lunch specials everyday and they are hot and ready for a quick in and out. You also have the option to order off of the menu if you have time.

Food here is amazing ... always fresh and healthy. I've eaten in, ordered take out and done their prep meals and every dish from their egg salad to their chili to chicken w/ rice to impossible burger etc. has been delicious. I was surprised that their prepped meals were only 500 (+/-) calories and some I had to divide into 2 meals. Secret is the healthy ingredients minus the additives that keep the calorie count low. I highly recommend and they also offer office / events catering!

So thankful that this spot is just a few blocks away from my office! I tried the vegetable plate and it was phenomenal! So tasty and so healthy! Ordered lunch for takeout and it was so easy to use their online ordering platform. My lunch was prepared quickly and the pickup was super easy. I was surprised at how speedily my meal was prepped since the restaurant was packed! Very friendly staff! I will definitely order again soon!

Fresh, wholesome, delicious! Chef Shashank cooks the best food in the area. He also is very warm and friendly. I wish the restaurant was open later and on the weekends, but it's still a great place for lunch.

I used to eat here 3 times a week. Food is always fresh and healthy. Portions are a very good size and everything tastes great. I get the daily fresh express. I moved away but I still come back every week or so. I can't stay away from this place. Chef Shashank and co-owner Barbara are amazing. They make you feel like family. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed the turkey meatballs in a fresh mushroom sauce. It was served with carrot and ginger soup, sautéed garlic spinach and the BEST cornbread bake. Delicious!! Open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11AM to 4PM. All freshly made meals. Even though they offer meats, they have a number of vegan and vegetarian choices. Well run restaurant with great service. Recommend!

I had the good fortune of winning a Sidewalk Chef Kitchen five meal package in a recent sweepstakes held during the grand opening of Life Extension Health & Wellness Market. How fortuitous, as I'm not one to putter about in my kitchen preparing intricate meals for one. As a pescatarian, I ordered the following healthy, 500-calorie meals: 1) Vegetable Plate (Consisting of quinoa or farro, sweet potato, kale & eggplant); 2) Vegetarian Chili over Basmati Rice; 3) Eggplant Planks; 4) Wild Caught Grilled Salmon with Mixed Veggies & Basmati Rice; and 5) Wild Caught Shrimp & Asian Vegetable Stir Fry. Everything was utterly delicious, enhanced by a mild curry spice resulting in tasty Indian flavor throughout. The owner/chef Shashank Agtey is not only welcoming & personable, he also prepares top drawer meals guaranteed to have you coming back for more. All meals are reasonably priced, making this a terrific option for repeat visits. My only suggestion would be to revise the microwave instructions when reheating these meals. In a 1100 watt microwave oven, it realistically takes 5-6 minutes to thoroughly heat the prepared food to optimum temperature (not 1-2 minutes as indicated on the package label). Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant.

The most amazing and delicious food. fresh express daily specials are fantastic and served quickly. As a person who doesn't eat meat or poultry sidewalk chef gave me many options to choose from, including but not limited to their vegetarian chili. Must mention the fresh baked cookies, definitely adds to the at home feeling. The staff and chef are attentive to all customers, always a welcoming atmosphere.

This was my first time going and the food was great! It's healthy, cooked to order and best of all, it's all organic, grass fed meats. I would definitely recommend any vegan, vegetarians or anyone on a diet to try this place. I'm on the Keto Diet and they were able to customize my meal to fit my diet... And did I say it's cooked to order? That means your food is always fresh. You can't beat that!!

Ordered the vegan shepherds pie and got a impossible burger patty with some veggies and mashed potatoes with a shepherds pie sticker on the box ..(thats not what shepherds pie is) that and a drink for almost 19 bucks and the chef wasn't wearing a mask.. 3 stars because staff was friendly and food wasn't too bad.

My husband picks food up for us every single week! I am gluten free, soy free, and oil free. The chef manages to make delicious food For both of us even with our dietary restrictions. The fish is wild and the bison beef is grass fed. The food is absolutely delicious and it doesn’t get any better. The staff is so pleasant and even though I feel like a bother they are always very kind about taking care of me. I love this Restaurant!

Great price, great food, great portions. I love the way the chef has crated the menu with a la carte plates and special fast plates for the on the go. We ordered the express lunch, which had bison mignon, coconut milk mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables. It was delicious, like eating a home cooked meal. The chef is s local celebrity and a representation of South Florida’s multicultural diversity. One my fave restaurants!

This nondescript gem is tucked in a commercial strip mall. You'll never find it so use your Google. It's nicely CDC/Covid compliant. Clean & well maintained. Parking is sparse but there aren't that many tables. When you walk in you're gonna be struck with a most excellent smell. It's a mixture of everything goodness from your childhood memories. Nice lunch specials with many options, all delicious. Fresh ingredients combined in healthy ways will do your body good. Friendly serve staff about wraps it up.

First visit to Sidewalk Chef Kitchen and will definitely not be the last. You can dine in or take your meal(s) home & heat. I chose the Deconstructed Turkey Shepherds Pie. Crisp veggies, moist turkey, and mash n gravy = DELICIOUSNESS!! Tastes like pure comfort food without the guilt. I brought a meal home for my husband; Grass Fed Bison Meatballs over spaghetti squash w/marinara (gone before I could get a pic). Already planning what to get on the next visit. Maybe a few extra too, since u can freeze for up to 6 months.

I just discovered this place. The location is unassuming, but the inside is quaint and clean. The chef is hands on working hard inside and has a very thoughtful and healtjy menu. Great place for foodies. The food is homemade and the ingredients are quality.

So I started working around the corner from this amazing place a few months ago, the first item from the menu I tried was the chicken salad sandwich... And OMG the best chicken salad sandwich you are going to eat. They also have this amazing 500 calories menu available all the time and all the dishes are very tastefull, they just make your diet so easy. Please, do not forget to try their bison burger which is to die for! Last but not least important is the great people that work there, the staff and the Chef himself that will always treat you like family!

This place is good- has a few good options and cool ideas on their menus. Their food has great taste, but I just think their food taste all the same, the meatballs, Shepard pie, meatloaf and some things have a overload of curry. Other than that its good and has a nice clean atmosphere.

Fresh, light, and very tasty. I loved the bison burger with cheese on ciabatta. Great decor and atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. This would have been a five star review but we felt a little uncomfortable being asked directly, multiple times, to leave a great review. I understand how important reviews are, but it left us talking about how awkward we felt as we drove back to the office.

I'm a new, really big fan! I ordered the fresh express set menu, which includes a protein and two sides for about $11. The food was warm, filling, and fresh. This is a strong competitor to the alternative lunch spots in the area (and the waitresses were so nice!). Next, I'm going to come back to try the Impossible meat options.
