Best ice cream, ever. Places like this are increasingly uncommon... an old-fashioned throw-back almost unchanged for 50 years. Always vanilla and chocolate, plus whatever fresh fruit flavors that are available, all handmade on-site. Treat yourself and try anything in-season, blueberry and peach are among the best. And the vanilla is the best I've ever had, anywhere.

Such an awesome nostalgic ice cream shop. Best ice cream around.. truly home made ice cream.. Peach is my favorite! This little shop hasn't been around for over 100 years for nothing! Try their ice cream if you haven't yet! You won't regret it!

Hands down my favorite ice cream place to go to. My dad has been going to this place since he was in his early teens, he's 63 now. He introduced me to this place around the same age he was when he started going. I do live in Pa, but anytime we were in Maryland and remotely near there, I'd beg him to stop and get some ice cream. They don't have as many flavors as other places, but in my opinion the mastered the basic flavors they have! My favorite is either the chocolate or strawberry, but I also have tried their other flavors which are great also! I hope to take my future family there as well:)

Old time Country store -- a walk back into the old days ....penny candy / hand dipped homemade ice cream. Should be preserved for future generations!! Old General Store in Snydersburg.
