First time to stop in to Sip85 was 4 years ago and I did like the cozy bar area and high tops. It happened to be Wine Wednesday and wines by the glass were 25% off. Staff was most efficient and pleasant. Tried the linguini and asparagus which was flavored well. Returned recently for Happy Hour and had a most enjoyable time. Angie was great!

Loved this place! The food is absolutely divine and delicious. Beautiful presentation.The service was top tier Cory was wonderful and so was the other woman who took over when he had to go to the other location! The drinks were super tasty. I will def be back! I highly recommend!

This place never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is super friendly. I usually get the Cobb salad with chicken because it’s so delicious.

Disappointing. Prices on Google not updated in a long time so be prepared. After soggy fries we decided to leave and go to dinner somewhere else.

Great local restaurant in an unassuming location. Combination of heavy plates with Tapas and wine. We went during a busy evening but were able to get a table. The service was good and the food came out quickly. The food was very good, my favorite was the truffle fries.

Met some friends we hadn’t seen in a while. Great place for conversation. Not loud. Great wine list. Also beer but didn’t pay attention since we all had wine. Food was way over expectations. Fantastic. Our new favorite wine bar!

Had the 8 oz sirloin which was amazing but pricey. Noise is a factor, you will have to speak with a raised voice. Chairs were very uncomfortable.

We stopped in for a few Birthday celebration drinks. It will definitely be our choice soon to include dinner from the menu choices we read and the wonderful meals served around us. Angie was a terrific and friendly bartender and Sean is a hands on manager there helping all his staff. Kudos to the chefs from our barseats we could how dedicated they were to each prepared dish. Great unique concept they have to join a yearly wine club that include special dinners and wine choices and prices.

We’ve been here several times before and enjoyed it each time. Tonight, we walked out before ordering. The “Holiday” menu is the same menu as non holiday but minus favorites- truffle fries and brussel sprouts to name two. Then the “Steak Frites” is still there but no fries- just mash potatoes. Hello - frites are fries. The holiday menu seems like a signal that business is not going well. It would be a shame if true.

Incredibly rude experience here. Every table inside and outside was open but told I can only be at table for an hour and would need to leave? Never heard of that and hardly anyone in there. Not going back.

My daugher has a small wedding and it was catered Sean was attentive , professional and easy to work with. The food was absolutely amazing and we will definitely use again ! Thank you so much The meatballs and Mac and cheese were so delish ( as was everything) but these were huge hit. Thanks again !!!

This is a very nice local restaurant with very good food and service. They have a nice beer and wine selection. My husband’s favorite is their meatball pasta dish and mine is the pasta with mushrooms, Asparagus, with chicken or shrimp. Both hearty dishes. Their house salad is very fresh.

They're really great with their customers but they treat their delivery drivers like their stupid.

The service was top notch. If you want appetizers and drinks this place is OK but you can save money by going to Publics next door. Halibut came out raw in the center and the service staff handled it great. Sent it back to be finished and the manager brought it back to the table and didn't even apologize or engage with us. He was more interested in the regulars who he wanted to talk to. Chicken dish was bland and when you finally found the chicken through the pile of arugula top. When it came to check out not a shred of remorse for taking our money and serving horrible food. Went down a couple doors to Banga Raya and had a good meal.

Start to finish--elite. Starter: pretzels with cheese dip and macaroni and cheese. I wanted to drink the cheese dip--but I said "how can I eat a 32 Oz Tomahawk steak if I do that?" I figured it out. Pair that steak with a blue cheese wedge salad, throw on a piece of apple pie with a side of caramel cheese cake and you are in heaven. On this night, they did everything right. I'm happy to review and give credit when it's due--but get in there and soak up the love and experience that went into this food for yourself.

Excellent food and service in a small venue

Our first time visiting this restaurant. We made reservations and were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The menu offers a nice variety of dishes. We started with a garden salad that I split with my husband. I had the pesto linguini with grilled chicken. My husband had burger and fries. We arrived in time for happy hour that is from 4:00 to 6:00. The house red wine was very nice. The staff was very attentive and professional. There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. A very delightful evening.

I travel constantly for work and am always looking for quality dining and was recommended by someone that had a prior positive experience albeit from the original owner. This unfortunately was hands down one of the worst experiences I have had since I can remember. The server was very sweet but she did not know if they had bottled water or what kind. I asked for diet coke. It was flat, completely flat. A gentleman came out and said it's canned. That is fine but it doesn't mean it wasn't flat. It happens, if it was not handled by the delivery agent properly, not the end of the world but he acted as if I was wrong. I am in the service industry and am typically understanding but you could see it was flat. Moving on, my $41 filet ordered medium well came out medium rare and almost ice cold along with the rest of our food. I had to send it back and either through irritation or lack of skill came back hard seared on one side but not flipped on the other so I had to cut the bottom part of my steak off because still med. rare. The person with me ordered steak fries and the steak came out with her side and no frites. Then the server went and got the fries but they were not the Parmesan Truffle fries they were supposed to be. Her wine was sour and she is well versed in wine. What is funny is I had mentioned prior to us getting our food that the food was coming out piping hot. It does lead me to believe that ours was intentionally left cold and with lack of care over a flat diet coke and sour wine. This is 100% due to poor management. Being in the industry, stuff happens and we just have to acknowledge the facts in front of us and correct the issue instead of taking it personally and then punishing your diner for having valid complaints. We were cordial and understanding during the entire experience. The server was sweet but needed a lot of training.

We love the food here and always have had great service. Dog friendly outside as well which is a huge plus for us!

Beautiful place with urban romantic vibes. Excellent and varied wine choices. Brussel Sprouts are divine! I highly recommend whether on a date or girls' night, it is a worthy experience. You will want to return.

All in all, it's a good meal, it's best to make a reservation. The weight of the 32oz tomahawk is questionable.

A friendly laid back dining experience awaits you. This is the place all the locals go to and it shows. I shared a 32oz tomahawk steak for $89.00. Worth it !! The meat was succulent and very filling with the two sides offered (wedge salad and brown/ quinoa rice) We paired our steak with a sweet bubbling Moscato white wine. Definitely try the Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, truffle aioli, shaved parmesan $9.00 for your appetizer. With a side cup of honey to sizzle on top. Marvelous! Our hostess was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. My only real complaints are that the menu was limited and it was darkly lit in the restaurant.

Sip85 is an amazing place to enjoy a nice bottle of wine and great food. Whitley is a young high-energy server and she polishes a mean Wine Glass! Her enthusiasm and bubbly personality is infectious. When she serves your party you can expect a sparkling glass along with her sparkling personality. This image is in front of the large specials’ board and off menu wine list. You will not be disappointed.

Been here many times. I do not mind spending $100 or more for dinner when it is good. A nice variety of wines and I do like the vibe. Trouble is the space is way too small and crowded. In desperate need of expansion. When the food is good it is fantastic, but it is not consistant. Portions are not consistant either, especially for the price. Will try again maybe, but due to the lack of consistancy not sure if this will be our go to any longer.

This place is amazing! We chose this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion due to its location and good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious all of the food was. The parmesan truffle fries are advertised as hand cut and I loved that they were crispy. The fish tacos were fresh a tasty. I would return to this restaurant just to get the steak frites again. I ordered it medium rare and it was better than any steak I've had in Tampa. Amazing food and staff!

Food, atmosphere and staff were great. Just felt it was a little too pricey. Meal for two, appetizers, and four drinks with tip was $103ish. Still recommend, and may even consider a second visit.

THE cutest little place I've seen in a while! I would say it's more of a wine-bar, than a restaurant, but a very nice one. They only offer beer and (a huge choice of) wine but that's totally enough for a nice evening out. There is also a food menu, not too extensive, but pretty decent. I ordered NY Strip Steak and it was just great - better than some steak houses. But what I liked the most is the atmosphere - on Monday evening we were the only people there, so the place was pretty quiet and we could have a nice conversation. The staff is also very nice, friendly and polite. Mostly very young people working, both in the dining area and in the kitchen (from what I saw) which I think is great. To wrap it up - a great place for a quiet (and possibly romantic) dinner or for a wine discovery evening. I will be happy to visit again one day.

Incredible dinner! 10/10 from the service, to the appetizers + salads, our ribeye was cooked PERFECTLY and was so delicious. Everything was very fresh. You can tell the owners really care about their establishment and their guests. This will be a regular dinner spot for us now. Thanks Sip85!

Good food and reasonable prices

Went there a while ago....had a poor experience with a rude server...decided to give it a second try....wont be back....food was nothing special and staff is consistent in not being very friendly.

Not worth the price. Inside dining is ok. The takeout I just got tastes bad. Dry flavorless chicken, lettuce spinach taste terrbile. If you want a good tasting salad, go buy 2 from chick fil a for the same price

Great atmosphere and superb food. We started making this our usual stop because they offer an excellent happy hour and have specials each day of the week. Make a reservation as this place is popular. They have a fantastic staff, and attentive owner. Same faces every week let you know staff is happy here. They are knowledgeable as well. Outstanding food and a creative specials list has made this a constant on our weekly calendar.

Great atmosphere, the workers are always so friendly. Celia had great recommendations, and my coworkers and I always have a blast sitting here after work and enjoying great food/drinks. Even though I’ve only had the pleasure of eating here a few times the staff truly do remember you and always take the time to stop and chat with tables and never make you feel rushed. This place is awesome. It’s a wine/tapas restaurant. Perfect place to hang out and enjoy my glass of wine. Sat at the bar and Angie (super nice and pretty) was our bartender/waitress. Quick and efficient. Knows her menu. Sip85 is known for it’s wine list!!! Happy for me!! I had the Sea Sun, California x2 glasses 😉. Great for its price. Must have: Everything Pretzels & Truffle Mac&Cheese. These two starters are yummy yummy. For our meal, I shared with my hubby, Linguine Shrimp-pesto/grilled asparagus/sun dried tomatoes/mushrooms/shrimp. Delicious!!! The atmosphere is quaint and you can tell there are repeating guests! That should tell you how good the food is. Did I tell you bout the wine list!! The fist thing you see in the menu is the wine list. The place is one of my go to places here in Tampa when I need to de stress and enjoy my food. ☺️

Ordered a pickup order and ended up waiting fifteen extra minutes from the estimated time their system prompted the food would be ready. We had requested utensils and condiments for our food that also was not included in the bag. The Mac and cheese was very dry and hard which made it difficult to enjoy. The food was mediocre and the pickup order did not accommodate what we requested even after including gratuity for the order. Was really hoping for a better experience. I did contact the establishment and they provided me a manager to ask for during future visits.

We're in the area on vacation and took our 3 young kids for a late night dinner at Sip following family pictures. We were nervous because the kids had had a long day, it was late, and we didn't want them to ruin the dining for the others. It was a Monday and ended up being fairly quiet, but the staff were absolutely AMAZING. They engaged our kids in conversation, were so accommodating, friendly.. it is truly the best service (Celia (spelling?!) You're a true gem! ) I've had at a restaurant in I don't even know how long. The chef even surprised the kids with free dessert. The food was everything we hoped for - We're already trying to think of how to replicate the Brussels sprouts at home. The wings, pork chop, and blackened snapper were also delicious.

the first time we went, we had no reservations, were seated in the front and thoroughly enjoyed our pomme frittes dinner..reminded us of the small places we loved in new york city...so we went back..and i question why its a sports bar serving wine?! 3 tvs blaring..took away all the ambience that could be there.. and my pomme frittes was half unedible..didn' t realize this til the next day when my husb ate it for lunch.. good and superb wines, intimate setting...and then...a sports bar i dont get it..it would be wonderful to go to an intimate winebar w/ good food and atmosphere..SIPS ain't it..

Great food and wine at this restaurant! I had the steak and it was fantastic. We were asked about a reservation when walked in, so it might be a good idea to have one before going to Sip85. Definitely worth a try in Palm Harbor though.

First time at Sip 85 and seems to me I have a new place to enjoy. Word to the wise,make a reservation. I was glad I did. Walked in and was immediately seated at a high top for two in the window. Nice table with plenty of room. We had a wonderful waitress names Celia and she was fast and attentive the whole time. She did a great job serving my wife and I some great food. We were also happy that Monday was 50% off a bottle of wine and they serve one of our favorites, Bonanza by Caymus wines. We are looking forward to exploring the menu. Last night my wife had a perfect filet and I has a perfectly seared piece of tuna. She took home a piece of Carmel cheesecake and I can attest to the fact that it was delicious. This restaurant is a no brainer. Go and enjoy Sip 85. Thank you Celia !!

Absolutely fabulous! Went on Monday to take advantage of the 50% off wine and discovered a very good restaurant. Had the Brussel sprout appetizer and it was excellent. Dinner was the tuna cooked to perfection. Others in the group had the meatball special and the snapper special. Topped off with sea salt caramel cheesecake. All agreed, very good food. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem, Plesently surprised, great vibe, had the charcuterie board and some wine..Excellent, had I know they had such a great menu I would of came for dinner. Just have to go back,staff was great as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Sip 85. It is a small eatery but well done. There are outside tables. Inside tables are high tops with a few low tables. It has a long bar with TV’s so it is not a romantic setting. The pasta was terrific as was the ahi tuna. We will return.

Went to SIP85 for a Birthday celebration for my wife. Made a reservation and when we arrived we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They have a great wine selection and drinks were very good. For dinner we ordered the pork chops with Brussel sprouts and mac and cheese, filet with Brussel sprouts and mac and cheese and the Linguine with shrimp. All the entrees were excellent. This restaurant is top notch and we will definitely be back!

Laid back place I've been to a number of times. Wife lives the number 2 board. Great place to relax but small. When it's busy its standing room only. Best to visit week days or off hours on the weekends

Food and service is bad. This is expensive place. The parking area is the best part about this place. Food of good quality to be had in McD than this place.

I’d heard the restaurant had good food and was run by good people but it was such a let down. The food was served cold and when I tried to let management know they couldn’t have cared less. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Had a wonderful experience last evening! Compliments to the chef and our server. The food was amazing and full of flavor! Sip 85 is is a fantastic Restaurant/Wine Bar. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The Wine selection is diverse and the beer selection is always great. Sip85 has great daily specials and always an option for gluten free or vegetarian. Sip85 has indoor and outdoor seating, and with covid that has been a must for my family. All employees are wearing masks even in the kitchen. You can call for curbside pickup. We love the Fish and if you want to indulge try the tomahawk steak. Great sides try the brussel sprouts, truffle fries, and the Charcuterie is awesome. My local favorite spot Thank you Sip85.

We were a party of 6 for dinner last Saturday with a reservation. For four of is it was our first visit. The service was excellent and the food simply terrific. We had the Brussel sprouts, truffle fries, a good cross section of the menu and bottles of red and white wine. Our party enjoyed the tomahawk steak, lamb lollipops, pasta, NY Strip and seared tuna and beggars purses. Of course we finished with dessert and there wasn't a bite left. We'll definitely be back!
