Burgers are great, but they weren't very friendly. Overall atmosphere was very rushed and stressful.

Food was fresh they had great service and amazing vibes! If your close by this place is a must .

Almost $8 for a quarter pound cheeseburger. Nothing special and certainly not “the best burger on the island”. Way too little for the price and the burger itself was dry and overcooked. You can’t order it medium rare. Bun was stale and broke apart. And the bathrooms are pitiful. Small, dated and smelly. Finally the parking lot is a joke. Way too small with potholes filled with rainwater. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to leave. Will not return!

We stayed less than a 5 minute walk from here on our vacation and loved the convenience of grabbing food so easily without having to get in the car. Food was very good - burgers were cooked well and not at all dry. The single is small, though, so if you are hungry, order a double. Highly suggest ordering onion rings and tater tots. No fountain drinks, but a good selection of other options. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prices are lower if you pay with cash instead of credit card. Highly recommend stopping by.

I live in Chicago, and every time I’m in the area I always stop here. Today I drove 2 hours from Fort Myers just for the burger. It’s has a backyard BBQ taste. There is nothing like it in Chicago and the only thing that comes close is at a traditional cookout.

Love it when vacationing on AMI. For good, slightly messy burgers, good sides, and a beach shack atmosphere, it is the go to. When ordering to go they always pack everything very very well, and get the orders right.

Best burgers on the island. Best burgers I have probably ever had. Great seasoning. Fairly priced. Chili on the chili cheese dogs is not spicy. Kind of wished it was. But hey, it was still good. Curly fries are run of the mill. Fries were really good. I have been here twice in the last 4 days. I have 4 days left, and I will probably go back.

Cool little spot to grab a burger and drink across from the beach. It's a popular area so expect a crowd no a/c...plenty of fans to cool you off though. You're sure to have some good food and fun here.

Local to manatee county. We had lunch with our kiddos after a morning at the beach and we love it! We got 2 cheeseburgers, an order of the hand breaded nuggets, and two fries. Everything was delicious, hot, fresh, and prices were reasonable especially for the island. They accommodated my husband and gave him a lettuce bun for his burger too which was great. Service was quick and everything was made correctly. This will probably be our family lunch spot for the foreseeable future.

The best place we found to eat on our trip. We went there multiple times! The food is wonderful, the price is great, the beer is cold and the staff are super nice!!! Great atmosphere. Skinny's has the BEST burger around (not just on the island). The atmosphere is laid back and beachy! The service is amazing! They can serve everyone dining there and a huge takeout business simultaneously, yet everyone feels equally as important! Skinny's is also affordable with great portions! I can't recommend them enough! Not to mention, you can pop right across the street for beach time or to catch a sunset afterward!

Skinny's hamburgers were skinny and had no flavor. The bun was bigger than the skinny meat patty.

We have been to the island on three different vacations. 1st time stopping at Skinny's. Best food joint so far, not a seafood spot but great atmosphere, vibe, location, service, great food and prices! Will probably stop again on this trip and will definitely return on future trips.

Burger was average at best, bacon undercooked. Very small, not a lot of seating inside. Tator tots were very good, very crispy. Overall not worth the price and I’d skip this spot. Service was ok.

Don't let the decor fool you. This place has amazing hamburgers. The meat is fresh and they do not skimp on the size of the patty. The Lettuce came from a head, not prepackaged. Tomato and onion slice were perfect along with the generous spreading of Mayo. About $7 for a single burger but other than home, you're not going to find a better burger.

This place is by far my favorite place on the island. The food is always great. There is always an open table to sit at . I enjoy the beach scene and the beautiful trees that give you natural shade. My kids also love coming here ! Great for everyone.

Nice place to grab a quick lunch near the beach. Some nice outdoor seating to eat and drink a beer. Can't go wrong.

We loved our experience at Skinny’s last night just before sunset! Burgers are amazing, fries and tots were all good as well. The only thing I wouldn’t get again would be the chili, the taste was off from the traditional Midwest chili that I’m personally used to. Beer is cheaper than water here, so skip the water and drink the beer lol! Staff was great, nice seeing so many happy faces around getting ready to watch the sunset at the beach (which is directly across the road). Family friendly place for sure, we will be back!

I had the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. Yummy. Draft beer was $2 but is just $1.50 during happy hour. Park at Anna Maria for free, enjoy the beautiful beach, then walk across the street to Skinny's.

An old island favorite for generations. Get a single with mayo or a double if you are hungry. The beer is cold and onion rings are excellent.

Exactly the beach burger you want. Got a cheeseburger, buffalo chicken, onion rings, and tots. The sides were crispy and salty. The chicken was bomb. Reasonably priced. Would reorder all the same items, and with a frosted pint it was a 10/10. Of note, limited indoor seating and it’s hot. We sat in the shade outside. Parking also limited.

We ate there late afternoon/early evening. It was busy but we didn't have to wait very long for food. The food was really good! We ate outside underneath the shade of a big tree. It was a fun experience.

Good food, far better prices than most places on the island! Good beer prices compared to other places as well! My wife and I both had Skinny cheeseburgers, an order of curly fries and an order of onion rings, a couple of beers and spent less than $35 👍 Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for something a bit more budget friendly that still has great food for the family!

Went tonight, atmosphere is cute. Food is pretty expensive for what you get. Claims to be #1 burger on the island but in all honesty, the burgers aren’t that great. Small, overcooked, lacking flavour. For $14 not including fries or anything. It’s definitely way over priced. We ordered and waited over 35 minutes for just two burgers and two fries. Very disappointed and won’t be back. I wouldn’t pay much over $5-6 bucks.

Signs says "Best Burgers" on Anna Maria Island. They were not bad wouldn't say best I ever had. Tiny place with lots of outside seating and some inside seating, can have dog outside. Limited parking. Make sure you read signs for street parking and obey them because tickets will cost more than meal. Just down the road and across the street from Manatee Beach. Park there and walk over.

First time here was fast service and the cashier had good vibes. I'd highly recommend!

Very good, basic and tasty food! We all had burgers. I recommend the double. Fresh toppings that come with it are excellent and we loved the curly fries and onion rings! Get a nice cold soda to sit out at the picnic table with. Super friendly staff and the food came out quick. The kid they have doing tables and delivering food is very kind and seems to be having a good time. We went multiple times on our trip. Go early because it gets very busy! Means it’s good 👍🏼

Wow. Easily a top three burger spot that I’ve been to. Lightening fast service, friendly staff and awesome local atmosphere. Burger was simple and flavorful and fries were fresh and good. Prices were very reasonable for the economy that we are in. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area - you won’t regret it!

Not to be disrespectful... it is good. Just not great. It's basic food. We had Cheeseburgers and tatter tots and fries. And a hotdog The food comes out quickly. We did not have to wait long at all. Seating is limited inside and out. The burger is on the smaller side so if you're hungry get a double. Burger is slightly over cooked a bit I'd say. It's very simple. Slice of onion, tomato, few pickles and lettuce. Nothing fancy just a basic burger but good and worth getting if you are there and hungry. Tatter tots and fries are great and cooked well.

Must stop in Anna Maria island. If you don’t want to stop it must be because you want to enjoy mediocre burgers! Happy Hour beer for 1.41/ beer! Make time there’s always a line! I’m picky and the bacon cheeseburger was magical!! Make it happen or ruin your vacation, your choice! 😘

Awesome burger joint! We enjoyed delicious burgers, fries, and onion rings here for dinner. We found a table outside and, after ordering inside at the counter, waited less than 10 minutes for our food to be finished. I tried the Fatty's Bacon Cheeseburger, which I was surprised by the double patties. Everything was perfectly cooked and juicy! It's definitely a great staple on the island.

It's next to Manatee Beach and has a local following off-season because the food and drink are excellent. During season, it's very busy, but it is absolutely a destination to go, and the wait is never very long, if any. They have cold mugs for the distinctive bottled "root beer". The cheeseburger was med well done, you can choose mayonnaise or not. The BLT had crisp bacon and the tomato was good. You should go. You order inside at the counter, pay and they bring the food to you. Most people elect to sit at the outside picnic tables under umbrellas. Inside seating is available . Prices are moderate.

We had eaten here once before and the food was great! This time the portions were smaller and the chicken was really chewy. For whatever reason we got the same thing as before but our bill was 12 dollars higher than the last time. It’s a cute place by the beach. We wouldn’t discourage anyone from trying but we certainly won’t come back.
