Hands down the best bagel spot in NOLA. gracious, caring people running the counter, incredible bagel sandwiches (try the philadelphia maki) and a lovely new location. You won’t regret spending coin here

The very touch well as the people were very friendly the coffee was great and the food is very good. They have bagels. There’s not much room for anyone with any walking disabilities.

Great food, people and scene. I’m not alone in loving this place. One of the hearts that keep this city pumping along. All that said, if you love a bagel… look no further: absolutely yes 💯And since you’re here, may as well check out Pond coffee because they’re pretty f’n great too. I stopped by for a casual bite to eat, but it turned out to be one of the best breakfasts of my life. Not expecting much especially because I’m trying a grain free diet and had to ask for the breakfast special sandwich to be served as a bowl. The owner/chef was very accommodating, basically made a special meal for me: eggs with fresh tomatoes and gourmet tasting cheese on a bed of thinly shredded cabbage and fresh veggies, and avocado. The freshness and flavor combinations were world class. Unforgettable. Later, when I realized it was vegan, I was shocked. So flavorful, filling, and healthy. Love this place.

We only stopped for coffee and a cookie on our walk. We need to return to try Bagels and the Vegen options.

There is a small amount of seating inside and around the building. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to make suggestions if you’re not sure what would go best with your order. Delicious bagels and great atmosphere.

Our 2nd day in NOLA we stopped in for bagels. I had the dharma bagel. Such wonderful flavour. We went back a second time and I had the same bagel and brought a deconstructed dharma bagel back to Canada for my daughter to taste! It’s the only place we went back for more on our visit. The coffee shop inside was an added bonus. The service in this establishment was friendly. Very local vibe but open to visitors too! Highly recommend!

Waited 40 minutes for a $15 "New Yorker" bagel sandwich that wasn't worth half that. There was almost no salmon and the bagel itself was dry. There was a massive line and only one employee was preparing food--the cashier ignored the backup and continued to print new tickets, increasing the wait time for every new hapless patron. Don't waste your time with this place, go to Stein's on Magazine or Flour Moon on the greenway.

We stopped by Small Mart twice this week for to go breakfast and everything we had was delicious. The folks working were all very kind! We had the Dharma bagel and the vegan bacon, egg & cheese bagel the first time and then the Gringo and another Dharma the second. Very tasty vegetarian and vegan options! We didn’t make it for the lunch menu but it sounded amazing. Thanks for being awesome!

Hands down the best bagels in the city. For a long time, bagels with lox were extremely hard to come by anywhere in the city and not very good. Small Mart was a saving grace from that! This place rocks. The staff are friendly and nice. They get busy sometimes so sometimes a wait but 1000% always worth it.

Sarah? Sara? However you spell it, was very accommodating, friendly, personable and gave me a great suggestion of what to eat being it my first time to the area and to their establishment. I’ve not been too much akin to doing the whole touristy thing of Po’Boys here in Louisiana or New Orleans for that matter, let alone a Banh Mi, especially for the prices of a sandwich that has Poor in it’s name, same can be said about Cubanos, but I digress. But the Pakora vegetarian Po’Boy they make here is on another level. Absolutely fantastic! And yeah, the atmosphere is quaint, chill af and homey. 10/10 would highly recommend.

One my fav places in New Orleans, closest thing I've found to a NY bagel. And they have a cool coffee spot alongside it, with equally excellent service, people watching, and quality coffee. One of the best coffee shops in the Bywater.

Can't do better for bagles all day!

They were out of rice at the end of the day so they substituted more pickled vegetables and another ingredient. The food was exquisitely spiced! I happily ate the leftovers cold the next day and again went straight to flavor heaven!

Best bagels in NOLA. We went like 3 times in one week. Samosas and bowls were delicious too. Strongly recommended.

Great little place my vegetarian wife and I can goto and get what we both like.

Great place for a bite. I got the vegan po'boy w/ marinated tofu and it was out of this world! Definitely recommended. Service was quick, the po'boy took 6 mins and I ate indoors (there are a few seats). Also had a vegan dunker, which was a tasty thin cookie round.

The ambiance is real. The people are real. The food that I had was wonderful and tasty.. Wonderful pecoras and samosas. It is vegetarian. There is a coffee bar inside. Highly recommend if you want some real New Orleans experience.

They have the best bagels in the city and they don't skimp on the cream cheese. I can't say enough about the curry or the Jamaican patty. My goto is leaving the rice out and putting the curry over a toasted everything bagel.

The vegan bagel sandwiches are to die for. I'd be here every morning if i lived nearby. I love thats there's a coffee bar right inside the shop. Being able to fully customize what's on my sandwich was a plus. I love that they have their own vegan cream cheese as well. I hope to be back one day!

Everything about Small Mart is a 10/10, food, service, & vibes. Such a cute spot. I love the bagels as much as everyone else but wanna highlight their lunch! The taaza salad is fresh, hearty but not heavy, I never had anything else like it. The samosa is cooked perfectly & with their chutney is so delicious.
