Bad service, ordering equipment neglected and in poor condition, poorly educated staff, if you don't want the dollars of customers who speak Spanish, put a sign saying so and then we won't enter. The staff that was there the night of Saturday, August 24, even yelled at us to leave. Bad bad bad, you could not respond to this review, but review the cameras from that night and you will feel the discomfort without being the ones offended.

Fast forward.... 08.27.24 the reason why I am confused is due to the majority of their order stations being out of service, and the lights dont seem to work on the ones that do. If I have to round the place two times to find a spot, I leave everytime. I went for the 1st time, and I was a bit confused about how it all worked. I figured it out, tho. I mean, it's not rocket science, but I had questions and got absolutely no response or answers. This is why I left no tip.

Why can’t I place an order via online/app ? I want to use the half off for drinks but can’t cause I can’t even use the app to place an order at this location

Almost all of the drive up bays are out of service and they don't accept orders on the app. Also, the last 2 times I've been there, I paid for mozz stix and they didn't give them to me. Serves me right for not looking, but by the time I finally get to order and eventually get food, I just want to get the hell outta there. Sonic must be a dying brand. This place is the dumps.

I ordered onion rings( they're usually great) but when I got home I found them undercooked and mushy. The breading was falling off in chunks. Idk if the oil wasn't hot enough or if they weren't cooked LONG enough, but a big disappointment altogether.

I can’t give less stars or I would. Constant mistakes on orders and when you try to call to speak to a manager, nobody answers the phone. I had an order messed up 2 times in one day and I didn’t have the time on my wasted lunch break to return to the store again to fix it. I’d like my money back ASAP. This will be the last time I ever visit a sonic location. Period. Shame that some lazy workers and poor upkeep of one location can tarnish the whole restaurant but it has. Good luck sonic

Just got home with the food. Both burger are not cooked hardly at all. Pink pink all the way through.

I visited sonics at 6008 14th St., Bradenton, FL 34207 Saturday afternoon July 6 approximately 12:35 PM and the manager that was on duty a Hispanic lady possibly in her late 30s maybe 40s was very rude. I had no sense of what customer service is about with this food service, they did not know how to ring up my order which was a small cheeseburger with a chocolate shake 299 coupon. The manager really had an issue with the order mainly because she had to help the order taker. Take the order very very rude.

I do not like that when I place a mobile order and something goes wrong with that order. I cannot request a refund or get support since their support system has not worked for months! What a sad looking Chocolate Sunday with whipped cream and cherry. Oh wait... Also, no worries. I'll provide my own straw and utensils.

Whats not to like about sonic, there shakes are great, there's something for everyone.

Order the cheeseburger with bacon and after paying extra for bacon got two and a half small shriveled pieces of bacon that only covered half the burger. The burger patty was so cold it didn't even melt cheese. Do not recommend this place 🚫👎🏼

Was rather irritated that you could only use one coupon per visit. Prior visit had a very rough experience, but the coupons helped offset that... until we returned and couldn't get what we had in mind.

Sonic has really been run down . All their screens are broken . Went there a few days ago and waited 15 mins before being helped. The workers seemed to be goofing around alot. Very unprofessional...

Hi last night my daughte6treats us to Sonics paid $41 for the food and deserts she ordered. When it came to eating the food both sandwiches had really dark lettuce. That is not proper food service. 🤔😮‍💨

Half of the stalls are out of order due to the fact that the stalls are dysfunctional. The staff is absolutely slow. They have a bad attitude and there's trash everywhere and the place looks dirty and disgusting. Worst Sonic I've ever been to!

Most of the monitors are broken and they take a long time to serve you. Food taste good and the value was great. Portions are big. Lots of meal discounts

I ordered a coney with chili and no cheese I got the opposite I got cheese with no chili then my sprite didn’t have any favor taste like the syrup was out…This was the worst service I had at this sonic ever the little girl that brought my food out was rude y’all need to have more training because we as the customers keep you guys open and provide a pay check for the employee's

I used to come to this location frequently as I work close. For the past 2 years they have allowed this location to deteriorate badly. All but 1 of the ordering spots work. ALL the other ones are out of order. And it’s not like they just broke. They’ve been breaking and staying broke for 2+ years. Today was the last day. I asked an employee if any of the work so I didn’t have to keep pulling into random spots then out. He got an attitude and asked “what do you want to order” in a rude tone like I was inconveniencing him asking. I’ll take my money elsewhere

This place is a joke. When you order food in the app they make it and then bring it out to you and not say a damn word that oh we are out of this and replace it with whatever they wanna replace it with. Then tell you thy can't refund it back to you and that you need to call corporate office to get your refund back. The people who work here are straight disrespectful and don't know how to act right in customer service. They will sit and laugh right in your face and think it's a joke to play with people money and food. I would never comeback to this place ever again due to the disrespect from the employees and also the disrespect from the management here at this location.

Haven't been to this particular location in a couple of years since it first arrived in our area, coming back after a long day at work, I was pleasantly surprised that it was still there and the food was much better than I remember. The only downside I would say to my experience was the wait, I went around 11 at night, and the place was certainly busy. Food was worth it, and I recommend this place if you don’t mind the wait.

What a surprise they are closed early… AGAIN. I arrived at sonic around 11:35.

I ordered three blasts with one item in each and I received a tiny scoop of toppings on a vanilla ice cream with no mixture of toppings. I then asked for them to be nicely remade. I received the same ice creams back that I gave to the employee to remake. I watched this happen through the window as they mocked me and handed me the ice creams back. The eating area was a bit dirty, but most people just yet it delivered to their car. One of the ordering screens was broken down so we had to use a different one, I have service 3/5 stars because they no longer deliver your order on roller skates.😭

Messed up my shakes and replaced them no questions asked. Manger frank and Brianna our waitress was a total sweetheart

Not sure what it is with this place but twice now I’ve been here, waited 10+ minutes with workers walking past me, then when I’ve walked up been told they’re not taking orders. Either too many people or they don’t have the proper staffing to run fast food

The server (she being the only one) was very busy. She did an excellent job. I just think that the food could be better, and everyone else in the kitchen, (I counted 5 people in there) could have helped her. If you're looking for "fast food" this isn't the place. From the time I pulled up to the time I got my food, it was 34 minutes.

Who ever made our breakfast burritos yesterday needs more training! I asked for .... UPDATE (2 months later): Well, it appears my less than complementary review resulted in some training happening. On our last two visits, the breakfast burritos have been very well made and delicious. Thanks! This makes for happy customers at Sonic. Guess we'll keep coming back here, even though the place still needs lots of repair.

This place is the most ridiculous place they rip you off the overcharged you they can't give you a proper order an amendment is too high to realize what mistakes they done and don't recall when you let him know what time was what issue was happening to hang up on you truth must hurt I hope they go out of business like they all need to

I went there to order a bag of ice, it was not busy at all, we waited over 5 minutes and while waiting our server was standing there drinking and talking on her phone, once she brought the ice out and took it to the wrong car….she then started to walk back inside so I honked and waved her down. She rolled her eyes and came over with a nasty attitude. She told me “do not honk your horn or we will not bring out your order” I replied okay well excuse the hell out of me it’s ice and you’re taking it to the wrong people. She stood at my car and folded up my receipt and acted as if she wanted to fight, I told her to back up from my car and bye. Very bad customer service

The food wasn't as bad as the shake was!! I got a large chocolate shake which was $8 an granted its twice the size as most other places shakes but its nowhere near as tasty. Its very bland an not what I expected at all nor what I remember them tasting like. For 3 people to eat I spent almost $60!!

I honestly had low expectations as the place is in need of some remodeling and updating, however the food was excellent👍

I was disappointed this time around. The hot dog did not taste good, and the fies were not hot. It came out so quick that it made me wonder if it was an order that was already sitting there. My aunt ended up getting sick from her order. 😒

Couldn’t even order . Waited 20 min after pressing the button only to be met with someone who seemed to be talking to someone else saying “I gotta make that” so I asked if they meant to click our stall because were ready to order and I was met with nothing but rudeness “place your order if you’re going to place it because I’m really busy right now” I asked to speak with the manager and they asked why and I said because of your attitude and they said okay bye and hung up . I went to the door and asked if the manager was the one taking all the orders and the server said yeah so I left here’s a photo of the guy because he wouldn’t speak to me himself.

Absolutely awful service and never got my food. Complained to corporate. Will never go back!

This was my first time at a Sonic as I don't normally like fast food but have to say it wasn't that bad at all. I ordered their BBQ Burger and it was pretty tasty, much better than McDonald's in my opinion. Fries and Cokes were good but sadly alot of the drive up ordering booths were not working.

This Sonic has excellent food, quick, nice service, and amazing prices. We come here often. 2/13/23 Stopped in again for a great lunch. They have wonderful chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks! We ordered on their app, and the food was ready and hot. Super nice service, too. 4/26/23 Another great lunch. Good food; great value!/7/11/23 We had their cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks special, and everything was delicious and so inexpensive. Great place!/11/28/23 Such a fun place for a great lunch! The property is really beaten up. The windows are dirty. The building could use a fresh paint job. The outdoor fans don't work. Music speakers are either broken or permanently turned off. The customer service is definitely lacking. My server shoved the bag into my hand, spun around on his heel, and went back inside. They weren't busy at all, so there was no excuse of a service rush. Just rotten service, period. The food seems really downsized from what it used to be years ago. The breakfast burritos are more tortilla than anything else. Perhaps this is an issue of food prep and general cooking? The girl who took my order sounded confused about what exactly went on the burger. She asked me what was supposed to go on it. Isn't that something your team should know? I understand that not everyone feels comfortable with serving on skates, but can they not dress like slobs? A harsh criticism, but surely dirty crocs aren't an acceptable dress-code? Looking for car-hop nostalgia? You won't find it here.

The actual food and shakes are very good and tasty but the service could use a little help, like personality, courtesy, friendliness.

Looks like the signs and property need some fixing up and they appear to be short on staff and nobody is on skates anymore there like they used to be when they first open. It would be nice if they had more gluten and dairy free options. I ended up getting eggs and bacon since everything else seemed to be breaded and cheesy.

I love me some in the middle of the night soft pretzels dipped in milkshake. My cryptonite and it literally walking distance!! You can walk up and they have outside dining.

Hey, it's Sonic, but the last time we were there, we ordered a double cheeseburger combo with tots and a coke, an order of onion rings and some buffalo chicken bites. After thirty minutes, the food cane out, and the burger and tots were stone cold. We did get a refund and they are short-handed, but damn it, man!

Most hilarious fast food adventure. My hubby ordered a double bacon burger no cheese. Well to bites in he relized there was no burgers. After laughing til we cried the lovely staff was so helpful to fix it and found just as funny as we did. Honestly hilarious but seriously handled so politely and nicely. Really apperciate the staff. We had a huge order and they nailed it all other than the one hilarious unplanned BLT. 😆 🤣

Placed a mobile order 8/3/23 at 9:30pm got here at 9:45 sat in a stall till 11pm waiting on my order and after waiting for so long I went to the door where an employee told me they were closed but were still taking peoples orders at the stalls . Got my order “refunded” as of today 8/12/23 I still have no received said refund . I have been back and fourth with the assistant general manager Russell about it and he keeps saying that I will have to wait a little longer or talk to the general manager Adam . I have asked for it back cash and they refuse to do so and they also refuse to even give me the food I ordered because an issue as already been placed but I have yet to receive it . Worst sonic I’ve ever been to definitely will not be coming back I’d rather take the drive to ellenton/Parrish area to the other one .

Most of the screens you order from are broken. The workers are hateful and not helpful, THEY TAKE FOREVERRRR. Your order is never right.

My wife and I went there for dinner last night we had a server to bring out our food her name was Tatiana she was professional and respectful at all times courtesy. A very good hard worker. Keep up the good work 💯

Went out for ice cream with my wife. Pulled in and 1 car in bay. At first thought they were closed. Rang bell and after 5 min wait they took my order. Got one hot fudge sundae, and one " mini Reese's peanut butter cup blast. Took order and I put card in and it didn't take. So waited to hand it to waitress when delivered. Out it can 10 mins later with hot fudge sundae and a medium paeanut butter milk shake. Told her what was wrong and she went back in and came out with mini peanut butter blast not a Reese peanut butter cup. It looked like a mini shake. Said she would make it right and not charge. I told her I don't want the shake and she said keep it. The bill was to be 7 bucks and she charged 8. When I told her this she said she would have to get manager. Somewhere along this conversation I gave her my card and out came" can you pay cash our card machines not working." Anyway out came manager who looked to be 18 at best. She said if I came back tomorrow she would make it right so I had a mini milkshake for 4 dollars and let her know we would not be back. Only good thing about it was I gave the other milk shake to a homeless guy asleep at one of the outdoor tables whoever runs this place better get their act together or this will be a ghost place.

They totally messed up our order. They made some of it again by but food was still substandard. Service was very poor. I would give zero stars if possible.

So I've been eating at Sonic since I was a teenager. I've always had a good experience with them until I had to deal with this location. The customer service is horrible. I placed my order thru the app and was there ten minutes later. The young lady who brought my food out was nice and gladly took back the order since it was not mine. So then I patiently waited over ten minutes watching people coming and going. When I pushed the button for service, I was told that I just had to wait. So I waited another five minutes and another lady brought my food out to me. I checked it and was missing the corn dog. I asked and she went back inside to get it. Then she came back out empty handed and told me they ran out. SMH. Thankfully I had ordered another hamburger so the kid that wanted the corn dog was not happy but fed. Next time it's checkers!

The food was horrible. Burger tasted like it was cooked many hours before and was cold. Cheese fries were a decent size, except the fries were cold, and there was a piece of sliced cheese tossed on top that wasn't even melted. Peanut butter shake was not stirred to mix in just ice cream with a glob of peanut butter in the bottom. The place is dirty and outdated.

I ordered a chicken nugget combo meal with fries and a sweet tea and a corn dog and sonic blast. The girl told me they didn't have sweet tea but she could get me a strawberry tea. My order came out and there was no drink and no fries. They said, don't worry, we didn't charge you for the tea. I asked, "why didn't she ask me if I wanted something else, I can't have a meal without the drink?" I was told that they just removed it. I asked why I didn't get my fries, and they said they removed that as well. I asked if they had fries and they said yes. God I pray sonic doesn't pay these people, because they are useless and rude and terrible for the business. I never did get my drink or fries and the corn dog was old or over cooked. They didn't give me the sauce for my nuggets. Useless!

Just another incredibly slow mobile order, for food to be wrong- and close to 10 minutes to get a hamburger with only ketchup remade. Supposedly to microphone at the stall did not work well enough, requiring a person to walk out to begin work on the correction.

Severely understaffed. Employees were trying their best to keep up. Sat for 30 minutes before my order was taken.

Waited for 30 plus min for no food to brought out. And waited another 10 plus for a refund. Absolutely ridiculous.

I worked at this location when they originally opened in town and had corporate help establish the store. Wow has this location really gone under. I mean honestly, a bunch of children run the establishment and only work when they want to. Whenever they don’t, they turn off the grill or fryer and turn down whomever they want. Also, they choose to ignore the call ins, no one else will be in any stall yet it takes 20 minutes for the order to be taken. Manager never seems to be there the last 4 horrible experiences I’ve had. They had the back door open so I was able to see how filthy the inside was. Bathrooms looked like some squirrels got caught in there for a week. TP everywhere and no soap. I have no desire to ever make my way back to this place. Needs to be audited by corporate quickly because they’re making Taco Bell look like the golden child

Ok I stopped by today to grab a slushie and shake, well the place was slammed and out of all the employees there only one stood out!!! No one was taking orders or anything except 1 employee, Her name is Kayla, a very sweet young lady running around like crazy trying to accommodate all the customers that had pulled in at the same time. Let me tell you though this young lady Kayla was amazing, when I finally was able to catch her attention she not only took my order but she treated me with the utmost respect and highest priority while there were other young men and they're just doing God only knows what she seemed to be the only one really truly working hard. She needs recognition especially today June 15, 2023!!!! Thank you Kayla

Get out of the car and stand at the door for online app orders when there's no parking to get out of the car. It's a drive in not a walk up.

This place is ran down. Be careful pulling into their lot. I had damage to my car due to the order sign being bent into the slot. This is a franchise that’s a joke! Stay away there better places. Never Again!!!Burgers nasty!

The food was great and the employee that took my order was so kind. My only concern was there was a short african american female with a collared red employee shirt blowing enormous tobacco vapor clouds in the seated area next to several no smoking signs so i couldnt order out of my car to enjoy lunch with my kids

I pulled up to the stall and placed a mobile order then put the stall number. The girl gets on the mic and tells me to wait 5 minutes before ordering because they are behind on orders. I said I understand and informed her I was placing a mobile order. 1 hotdog and 2 cherry lime drinks. 30 minutes later our order comes out wrong and the hotdog bread is unreasonably soggy like it had been sitting.

They gave us children's burgers instead of the regular size we ordered. Odd but considering every other experience we've had at this location I would consider it on par. I mean at least they took our order this time. Last time we waited for over 30 minutes for them to come out and tell us their button was broke and they would be back to take our order in a bit. 10 minutes later nobody had showed back up. Worst sonic ever really! You'll be just as disappointed!

Waited 45 minutes for my order on Uber, only to be told they had a driver come in and take my order already, meaning it had obviously been stolen, their response to this was to cancel the order and tell me to order elsewhere, terrible waste of time.

Do not get a breakfast sandwich here. They say the kiosk we order from was affected by last big storm so the poor ladies have to go back and forth to use the pay period thing on the wall. The burgers are mediocre but the rest of the food I tried was good not memerab! There big thing now are the drinks. I like the route 44 ice coffee with vanilla. Good luck trying to get a delivery I have tried every one but Uber yuck. None worked Sonic said working on it.
