This Philadelphia themed deli hidden in Royersford/Limerick PA is the Bomb! They have authentic italian south philly sandwich’s! I grabbed the Gourmet Italian and I was not disappointed in any way, They are only open until 4pm so place your order accordingly. Sonny’s also has Philadelphia Eagles based sandwiches that honors eagles players: David Ackers- Donovan McNabb and so on. Check this place out!!

Stopped in to get sandwiches the other day. Ordered chicken Italiano and no broccoli rabe available. What Italian sandwich shop doesn’t have broccoli rabe for a chicken cutlet sandwich? If you’re not gonna offer fries have more than two bags of jalapeno chips on the shelf. Trying to support local, but with these kind of options it’s s hard. Won’t be back.

By far the best hoagies I've ever had - ever. Unfortunately for the past year every single time I go in for a hoagie usually between 12-2 they're OUT of bread. I don't live in the area anymore so it's a huge disappointment everytine I am in the area around lunch time and I can't get a hoagie from my favorite place. I understand if they have a particularly busy day on occasion but this has been the case consistently about 8 or 9 times now. Sign says their open until 5 pm but they run out of rolls at 1-2pm every time I'm around. I don't know if it's poor planning when they order or they're just ordering enough for their quota and no more or if i just have the worst timing ever - either way , bummer.

Are you tired of the same old hoagies from local pizza shops? If you are, then you need to try Sonny's. If you hate flavor, then you don't need to come here. Roasted reds, long hots, sharp provolone, mozzarella...oh my....Try it, you won't regret it. It's definitely better than Primos by a mile.

Look, they're amazing sandwiches, and I go any chance I'm in the area. but like get with the times - the McNabb, the Kolb and Akers can be changed now. it's been 15 years. The Harper, The Maxey and The Hurts. Same sandwich. Change the name. Boom.

It's not hyperbole to say that Sonny's Deli is the best deli in the Eastern United States. Never been disappointed. The best hoagies that you will ever eat.

Sonny’s Italian Deli is our “go to” place for hoagies & Italian food deli specialties. Being born & raised in South Philly, when we moved to the suburbs it was difficult to find what we were used to as South Philly Italians. When Sonny’s opened, we were in heaven!! Highly recommended for their hoagies.

Best Hoagies around, it's all about the Rolls. True Italian flavor and they use the best meats and additions are homemade. Whenever I'm in the area, my car goes on automatic Pilot to pick up a couple.

Hands down the best hoagie around. The rolls are perfect if you like sesame seed toasted rolls. Staff has been there for years at least 18-20 I can remember of. Personally try not to buy anywhere else.

We tried Sonny’s for the first time after seeing it posted several times on hello422 and let me say, it did not disappoint!! The seeded roll was amazing and the Italian had such good flavor. We called ahead as that is what they suggested on their website and it was ready in no time! Everyone was so friendly and the inside reminds me of an authentic, mom and pop, quality deli. I will definitely be returning and recommending to others!

Sonny’s is absolutely AMAZING. It was our first time trying it and it did not disappoint. I got the Junk Yard and it was so good, the seeded roll is the best. Staff was super friendly, we called ahead and our order was ready when we arrived. Definitely go to Sonny’s if you want an authentic South Philly experience in the suburbs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Please take your Italian Deli business to Corropolese Italian Bakery or Collegeville Italian Restaurant and Bakery. You will thank me later.

Had a 6th Annual extended family party today for 35 adults and 10 children! As I always do, I went to Sonnys Italian Deli Limerick. 10 pounds pulled pork, slammers, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, tomato pie! Everyone complimented the pork and kept asking by me where I got it. Everyone knew where the famous slammers were from so the answer was easy, Sonnys. Kids loved the Mac and Cheese. Food was ready on time, was offered all the condiments I needed and the dressings. Staff is friendly and helpful. Chef Mike always hooks me up!! —Duff

Doing a small repair job in Collegeville and didn't want to watch paint dry so I decided to grab food close by. First thing that popped up on Google was this little gem. I planned on getting a BLT but they don't offer that. Instead I got a small turkey hoagie - the roll is so delicious the meat so fresh and no skimping on contents of the hoagie. Highly recommend!

Wow I was there many years ago when they first opened in the farmers market. They had some of the best sandwiches that I ever tasted. I try to go back whenever I am in the area. Maybe later today if I can break away for a few hours. Best stuff around and nothing like the rest of the sandwiches in their area or in this area in general. You can't go wrong.

Based on a lot of recommendations, we went to Sonny's Italian Deli for lunch today. It was Delicious!!! The roll was the 🌟 of the show!!! It was soft on the inside and the perfect crispness on the outside 🤤 Also, the sandwich was packed with meats and cheese, not skimpy like some other places do it. We loved the Philadelphia Sports teams ❤️ We came all way from Douglassville to get hoagies and we will be back!!! Sonny's Italian Deli 🎉🎉🎉

Stood in line to order they took the guys order who was behind me who got there after me and he was able to order a sandwich and I was not, poor customer service.

Great little hidden gem! I ordered take out but there are some tables for indoor dining and some picnic tables outside as well. Made to order, so be patient. Very friendly staff!

Still the best sandwiches anywhere! Hard Italian rolls, chunk provolone, awesome! If you don't like hard rolls, ask for a soft one, THEY ARE NOT STALE! Always courteous great service. I've been goin there for 25 years. Anyone who leaves a bad review needs their head examined. And you probably bash other good businesses too. Some people are never satisfied with anything (ENTITLED MUCH?) Wish there were more places like it! 😁😁😁

Sonny's Deli is a family-run business! They have the best Hoagies, Cheese Steaks, Deli Sandwiches and Salads in the area! Their rolls are fabulous! Nice selection of desserts. They provide catering services and are competitively priced. They provided meals for first responders and hospital staff during covid 2020 shutdown. A great place!

My Italian was nice and hefty. Our bread was a little hard but other then that, no complaints. The price for our lunch was awesome 😎. You can't beat $23 bucks for two sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, & two drinks. We enjoyed our lunch!

Hands down my favorite sandwich deli to date!! If you want delicious deli food with a lot of variety and classic hospitality, this place is a must stop. It is a family run business so the feel is that of a classic deli stop. And not a franchise like subway. Great quality, very fair prices, and top service. I will certainly be visiting again. They have the BEST sandwiches. Their chicken abruzze is quite possibly the most amazing sandwich i ever had. The only downside is when out of rolls they close and they are handmade so they sell out fast! Definitely a must try you won't be disappointed!

I got the " south philly" 24 inch hoagie and this thing was loaded to the max! Consistent all the way through. Best hoagie shop hands down!. I will definitely be ordering from this place more often. And its family owned so it's even better. Great job guys!

Love Sonny's. Always good, fresh food..... it can cost a bit more but worth it. They use Sarcones bread so sandwiches are awesome. We've had some of their traditional items in addition to hoagies and everything is great. If ordering on Sundays during football season get you order in early because they can sometimes run out of Sarcones bread.

All right I keep hearing about this junkyard sandwich, junkyard sandwich, top Philly junkyard sandwich and I'm not a big fan of spinach, so in the past I would not have tried this. But today I took a chance and I got to say this sandwich was great. I cannot believe I am eatten spinach. because it's so good. Best hoagies in the area hands ✋ down. I would even go as far to say in the top 5 of the Philadelphia area and I know of some great locations in Philadelphia to get some great Hoagies AKA Subs. The staff here is always the kindness and always willing help you make the best choice with the freshest meat great bread and value for the price. You can eat here there is only a couple tables inside and outside. My only complaint is you have to get there early on Sundays cuz they close early.
