We go at least 4 times a year,an hour and a half drive one way but it's so worth it!!

An absolute fabulous place to go eat. It's out in the country but food has always been perfect, they raise their own turkey and the dinners are so fresh and they make their own syrup which you can watch them do during sugar days.. everything is a 5 star here

This place is impressive. There were so many people but the staff got us seated within 20 minutes. The ambiance is lovely. If you like all things maple, this is a lovely spot. I haven't tried anything that wasn't delicious. My favorites are stuffed French toast for breakfast and the Lobster Bisque Extrordinaire.

We’ve been hearing about this place for years so we finally visited for breakfast. So glad we did! My husband had a spinach omelette. It was so light and fluffy and packed with spinach, mozzarella and feta. He chose Buckwheat pancakes instead of toast and said they were delicious. Of course he topped them with their famous maple syrup. I had their sausage & gravy biscuits with home fried potatoes. Also delicious! After our meal we browsed their little gift shop and purchased our own bottle of their awesome maple syrup. We will definitely dine there again.

Everything was great from the giant parking lot, the grounds leading to the restaurant, the atmosphere inside, but most importantly, the food was great!

A great place to have any meal. Lots of seating in a big open atmosphere. Food is great and make this place a destination to go for dinner many of times. Have never had a bad experience here.

This place is very nice inside and is almost always busy! If you can get in here when it’s not busy then you better get one of everything on the menu! They have some truly delectable dishes that I found myself and family making the 2 hour drive just to get some brunch. The stuffed French Toast is truly all that! It is a bit pricey but you are paying for some pretty good food, so it evens out. The gift shop is cute and the owl is always fun!

The facility is nice and clean, the food is good, and the staff are nice, respectful, and approachable. The maple milkshake is really good, but it could be a little bigger for the price and ratio to food portion size. I got the stuffed French toast for breakfast. It was a stiff maple cream cheese glob, sandwiched between two slices of thick and fluffy French toast. The toast was great, but the "filling" was disappointing. It lacked a strong maple flavor and was thicker than fresh cream cheese.

Good food but can be busy at times

This place is always busy for a reason. House sauce is great. And mini maple muffins are an absolute must have.

The restaurant is very quaint, the food is delicious and you just have to make sure you get there early because they close very early, at 8 p.m. Otherwise everything is definitely great.

This place is a full experience! First, the staff was so gracious, seating our party of 16 with no fuss and not rushing us at all at the end of the night. Second, the food was delicious! I ordered sautéed turkey livers but also sampled the prime rib, the roast turkey dinner and the sea scallop scampi. Everything was to notch. On top of that, there are things to learn! You can walk a gravel trail around pat of the maple farm and learn interesting facts about maple syrup. Fun for the whole family. 11/10. Go to here.

This place doesn't need much help being popular. Great food and atmosphere and nestled in the wonderful New York countryside. If you haven't been, it needs to be a priority in your near future!

The best turkey dinners ever. You can get them anytime, not just Thanksgiving.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Portville, NY. The food is always excellent and the service is typically very good. If you go on the weekend or on a holiday, be prepared to wait in a long line. They do not take reservations and the place is VERY popular.

Amazing -from the bread and muffin basket to the strawberry shortcake dessert! Service, cleanliness, and food was on point!

What a pleasant surprise. When my wife suggested we stop here on the way to the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum and Coudersport Ice Mine, I expected a little diner. The place is huge, with an enormous menu. They have gluten-free options. The portions are huge. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. The only thing I had an issue with was I found the sausage patties to be too large (size of a quarter-lb burger!) and pretty dry (but, there's plenty of syrup for that. Omelette was delicious, and the waffle covered with whipped cream and fresh, tasty berries was a delight. Fun for families.

Waitress brought wrong breakfast. Didn't realize it for 10 minutes. Husband had already started eating it because he didn't want to say anything .92 dollars is way too high for just breakfast.

Always a great breakfast, staff and experience. It’s my annual pilgrimage! This time I had the French Toast with Berries, sausage and coffee. Everything was excellently prepared, berries fresh, coffee hot and tasty.

I love the menu, and the building had a very cool design and aesthetic. Everyone was very kind. The food was pretty good.

We do both dine in and take out/pick up. Always excellent. Highly recommend. Worth the drive.

Always an exciting atmosphere with all of the features. Food choices have not changed. Stuffed French toast tasted different than I recall, I didn't enjoy it.

Sprague's is one of the best restaurants in this area! The service provided is excellent and the food is extraordinary! My family has started a tradition of celebrating each member's birthday at Sprague's and I cannot think of a better place in which to do so. This place is one of our very Favorites. Whenever we travel in the vicinity we just have to make a visit for Breakfast. I am sure all their meals are Great, but Breakfast is Fantastic.

Sprague's is always a solid 10/10 for me. I've never had a bad experience here! I only ever order the stuffed French toast, I'm obsessed, but I have it on good authority that the rest of the menu is good too!

The place is always amazing. Great scenery. Great people. Awesome food. Nice gift shop. A little expensive but always worth it! Went back. May 2024. Food was as good as ever. Parking was perfect. (Second spot from door) Service was not the greatest. This was the first time I've ever bad bad service. Waitress barely ever came back after delivering food. Caught her standing around a lot. Wasn't busy so no idea why. Woman at the register was interested in finding her paper clips before she even took out bill. Another staff had to do it but even he was distracted. I could have not paid and gotten away with it. I will NEVER do that but guys, come on.

Vary good I took my Grandma and Aunt out for Mother's Day and then got food and everything we had a really fun time together.

The food and service were excellent, but the atmosphere is Amazing! After eating, we hit the gift shop. I had no idea Maple syrup could be used in so many ways! I took some adorable leaf shaped bottles of syrup home, and I've made French toast or pancakes 3 days in a row. If my kids behave, I have a jar for them. 😁

This was my first visit. We are in the area for graduation at St Bonaventure. My daughter wanted us to try this place. It was amazing. Yes there was a bit of a wait for a Saturday afternoon during graduation weekend. Once seated, the waitress was quick with our drinks, then gave us a few, she returned for our food choices. The kitchen staff was amazingly quick, the food was right and everything tasted amazing. Pricing was normal for this day and age. My wife and I would be willing to take a weekend drive just for the food being 2.5 hours east of here..

Very unique restaurant that is frankly in the middle of nowhere. It really stands out compared to the area. Inside decorations are cool and you keep finding unique things everywhere. Food was excellent with a great selection of different items. Staff was friendly. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area.

You will not be disappointed. Every single thing on the menu is outstanding. We'll drive 2 hours to eat here and then 2 hours back home. Without a doubt, it's worth it. Wonderful gift shop as well.

My girlfriend and I ate here in early April 2024. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The server was friendly and answered our questions about the maple processing tours they do. (March and October if I remember correctly) She got the Ruben sandwich and I had the stuffed French toast and their homemade sausage. Everything we got was delicious and came out perfect. We got a bottle of their maple syrup at their gift shop on the way out that I’m still using. We will definitely be back in the future!

An all-time favorite restaurant, they always do a great job. They do breakfast all day, and the pancakes are all-you-can-eat of their options (all are worth trying). Their homemade sausage is top tier, they serve their own syrup made in house as well. Staff are always friendly, the room is always buzzing with good energy. It can be a bit loud for conversation due to the open concept, and you might have to wait for a table if you don't come early - WORTH IT.

This was my first experience at Sprigs and other than the atmosphere, it really was disappointing. Everyone said so many nice things about this place. The prices of the menu seemed reasonable and the atmosphere was pleasant, but I ordered a western omelette with added mushrooms. I've gotten better quality food at Friendly's. They used canned mushrooms. Not even fresh mushrooms. All of my omelette filling was uncooked and cold. I sent the food back. Our server was really really nice. Her name was Cole. She had my dish taken off of the bill. She was very friendly and attentive. So great job there but the own might want to have a talk with his chef and ask him what he needs to do better at his position. Js. Sorry Sprigs. I won't be back.

The Banana Fosters Belgian Waffle special that they have (unfortunately only like once every 3 months) is amazing. I live 1.5 hours away and it's worth the drive!

It was very busy during our visit. 10-15 minutes wait to be seated. Staff was pleasant. Club sandwich was incredible. Hot turkey sandwich was cold in the middle. Beautiful grounds and building.

Sprague's Maple Farms is a must during Maple Weekends in NY. While the restaurant is open all year long, Maple weekend brings wagon rides, native American demonstration, Maple donuts, Maple popcorn and much more! Be sure to try the Maple Chardonay! Delish!

Bacon and potatoes were almost raw. Good pancakes. Great bathrooms.

Food was delicious, as always! The bacon was thick and full of flavor and the sausage was the best we've had. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Having a meal at Sprague's is always delightful!

Food was excellent, service was good. We went late Sunday morning, the parking lot was far from full, but the wait was still about 30 minutes. It was my first trip, but my wife and her family had been there before. It's probably a 45 minute drive for us, but the drive isn't bad. Since we got there around 11:30am, some of us had breakfast and others had lunch. Everyone was happy with their food. If we're game for another long drive some day, I'm sure we'll be back. My pancakes and eggs were as expected. The sausage were thick, clearly hand-formed patties, and the potatoes on the side were good, but nothing special. The waffle my wife got was huge, the strawberries and blueberries were fresh and delicious, and the whipped cream is homemade and I assume incorporates their own maple syrup, because it has a slight maple flavor and was delicious. My son had some French toast, which he loved, my in-laws had the hot turkey sandwich and meatloaf, which were both excellent. Great quality food. Kind of glad that I don't live closer. 😂

We had an incredible breakfast experience. I had a waffle, which is off-brand for me, and I don't typically enjoy whipped cream, but this waffle was absolutely incredible because of the maple whipped cream. My girlfriend had the deep fried French Toast and that was even more incredible. It was like a giant thick funnel cake. So good. The place was very busy, but service was top notch. The lunch and dinner menus had us drooling as well. We need to come back! Tip: arrive before church gets out at 11am.

The food is excellent every time we visit. The atmosphere is a relaxing and well thought out theme for Sprague's Maple Farm's. The staff is plentiful and no waiting for your meals . Always a delightful visit. The maple.breakfast sausage, along with Berries on a cloud, never disappoints.

The prices are rather high...a cheese burger and fries was nearly $20; French toast and over-spiced sausage was $25. Plentiful but at those prices I would have expected higher end quality. Service was average--nothing wrong not fabulously right. The place is charming and thank heaven we were seated in a booth to help dim the noise. I won't go out of my way to visit again but if a companion wants to go there I won't refuse. All in all: meh.

Amazing food and beautiful place!

This is a large restaurant and a wonderful place for kids with animated birds and animals. I have only been there for breakfast but it was very good and they have something for everyone. You can also watch them make maple syrup if your there when the sap is running.

We drive about an hour and a couple times a year just to get to eat here. Never been disappointed with the food. Service is quick and friendly. Can’t wait to come again.

The food is excellent!!! The bananas foster waffle was so good and the bacon is amazing. The food came relatively quick. There's a cute little gift shop in the restaurant too. Highly recommend checking it out.

The food is awesome which goes without saying but my grandson left his tiny little stylus for his Nintendo DS on the table after we left. I came back in looking for it. Of course, the bussers had already taken it. Brittany said she would look for it. She was so busy already, I said thanks but please don't go out of your way. Still I left my number, not really expecting to hear anything. We left, and 5 minutes later we got a phone call. Brittany had found the stylus! I am from out of town and where I come from, they would never do something like that. Thank you so much! You guys are the best!
