I was going to eat and work inside, but the music was so loud I couldn’t imagine staying more than a few minutes. Got a drink at the drive thru instead, likely won’t return to this location. Find a free decibel meter app, and set music volume so when the place is empty, it registers around 50 - 60dB. It’s a coffee shop, not a bar on Saturday night. Otherwise, from what I could tell, it was very clean inside and out. The drive thru was great and the staff was very nice. The coffee, btw, was excellent thank you.

Compare where I order to what I get what Starbucks offers on the picture is nothing to what you get in real life false advertisement. Stop at my local Starbucks first they make it wrong and then the guys went to re make it and this is what I finally get . Definitely they should do a better job compared to what they offers in pictures and in the app . This drinks don’t taste good at all .!

when I drove up I noticed a line in the drive thru so a decided to walking in not seeing to Many people inside. I really don’t want to give a star review but this is not first time that they don’t make orders correctly. I wanted to try spicy pineapple lemonade and it wasn’t spicy at all. It turned out just regular flavor . I couldn’t let them remake because I shared it to three people and I was last person to know it was wrong make. I think they didn’t put chili powder (sth like that to get a spicy flavor). Such a waste time to write this review. This location really need to improve.

The WORST Starbucks in the DMV. Waited for 7mins before my order was even taken in the drive thru. This has happen on more then 1 occasion. Only to then get the wrong drink once finally getting to the window after another 10mins wait. They always run out of Tea and Mocha along with other standard items. 🙄 Just Ridiculous.

I'm actually shocked that I just ordered a $6 drink in the drive thru and was refused a stopper for the top. I am told the manager said they aren't permitted to give out a stopper to cars in the drive thru and stoppers are only for delivery drivers. So you can take $6 from me for coffee but you draw the line at the green plastic stick to help me not spill my coffee?? Never will I go to this Starbucks again. I have never heard that before.

Terrible customer service. Every time I come here they never have the gift card holders for the gift card. I just went in there Saturday January 19th at 6:35pm. It’s only one worker and she seemed like she’s ready to go and didn’t even seem to even ask can she help me. I had o say to her, “do you’ll have any gift card holders and she quickly replied NO shaking her head. Didn’t even ask me if I need anything else. I won’t be coming here anymore. A waste and gas and time every time.

It's a decent Starbucks. Not the best, but they're always at least somewhat friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. They never have any sandwiches or protein boxes, but that's not a big deal. My drinks are always right and ready fairly quickly.

I went through the drive thru 5 minutes to closing time. They didn't have any pastries left which was fine just grateful to have our drink made. But unfortunately it was made wrong. As soon as I left the window I tasted and realized it was wrong. I literally circled back to the window. There was a guy who didn't take our order and he didn't open the window. He just shook his head and said we're closed. I held up my drink to indicate we already ordered. He just shook his head, said were closed. I wasn't about to leave after paying for a drink I couldn't ingest because it had sugar in it. After honking, it seemed his colleague convinced him to open the window. He repeated they were closed and there was nothing they could do for me even before hearing my complaint. I told him my drink was wrong and if he couldn't remake it I wanted a refund. He said he couldn't do that either because the system was shut down. Which is a lie. At the least I could have gotten a preloaded gift card or an apology. With attitude, he said come back tomorrow for a refund. I told him I was driving back home to NC and wouldn't be able to come back for a refund. He actually said to get a refund in North Carolina and go have a blessed day! This is the worst service I have ever had. No stars.

Drinks often come 3/4 full. Drinks come messed up (all I get is a basic shaken espresso). Customer service is lackluster, they’ll ignore you inside. The line is always super long and they are really slow. I will say some of the baristas are really nice but most of them are unpleasant and unhelpful and they don’t know how to make basic drinks. I won’t come here anymore.

Been here 3 times and each time I end up waiting at least 10 minutes for my mobile order. This time, I was as beginning to lose my patience as it had been 20 minutes since I placed my order, and I had been waiting 10 minutes for my food order. I told an employee there that I had been waiting 10 minutes and she said “There were many orders in front of you.” I told her I ordered 20 minutes ago and this was not the first time I’ve had this problem at this location and she just says “Ok” and walks away. She was kind of rude. When she said there were other orders in front of mine, this was simply not true. My drink order was ready when I got there, nobody bothered to even see what else I was waiting for till I’d been there for several minutes. I was watching closely, since I wanted to get my stuff and leave. Nobody was making any food orders at all. I did see this manager woman walking around behind a bit. This location is very poorly managed.

The most passive aggressive service delivery I have experienced. The No welcome when you walk in, drive through- apologies seem fake and tart to tell you at 6:58 in the morning that they do not have protein boxes. This has been the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes for my drink. At first, I just simply attributed the waiting time due to them being busy, but after a while I decided to ask if my drink order was anywhere in their sight...I ordered at the register and apparently my order was nowhere to be found. The guy did the drink right away but couldn't even acknowledge their mistake by apologizing or say something about it, he just gave me my drink like they didn't make me wait for 30 minutes because of their incompetence. The barista or baristo idk...that made my espresso Frappuccino deserves recognition. A lot of times this drink isn't made correctly at other statbucks and a person with a black apron usually has to make it. But today, whoever is working at that Laurel store across from the dollar tree, thank you! Usually, I get this drink. Blended with extra ice because I also get a few pumps of toffee nut syrup, and I don't want it to be watery. This person understood the assignment because before when I put extra ice. I have huge ice chips like a slushy from sonics. Not today it was blended correctly. It was a thick frappuccino, not with the ice separated from the liquid, where you have to keep stirring to mix it correctly before drinking. Thanks again to store 9636 in laurel, Baltimore Ave.

I try to avoid this Starbucks at all cost and I live behind it! There’s ALWAYS a wait at this Starbucks , today was the final straw for me. I only come here because they are open late WHEN they are actually open. They close/open whenever they want to & w/o fail there is always some thing wrong with my order & I GO inside I don't do the drive through or order ahead anymore because there were too many issues I don't know about the service every one else is getting but I always get the staff with the attitudes that are outrageous. Coffee was fine when they managed to get it right. The first person took my order as one ice coffee instead of two. The second person looked up my order and still got it wrong. The same second person offered to remake my drink and made me an entirely different drink. Fourth attempt got it right but got an extremely impatient and unfriendly attitude. He also threw out what remained of the first coffee for my fiancé when she wasn’t done with it in a fit of anger. Would recommend you go elsewhere if you want faster and better service. Otherwise food and coffee is fine if they manage to get it right.

I give an overall rating of 2 stars, food gets 4 stars, while service and atmosphere gets 2 stars. Once upon a time, Starbucks employees asked for the names of customers, especially those who were regulars, and created a very welcoming atmosphere. This has not been my experience, but I did not hold it against them. I was also very grateful that I had a place to regularly study, which contributed to my exam passing success. There were some days where the music playlist is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. Unfortunately, I no longer feel welcomed at this Starbucks when a specific manager is on duty, which negatively impacts my ability to study well. There are certain days when the manager is very eager to close Starbucks as soon as possible. As part of good customer service, lights should not be turned off while the store is still open and customers are still inside. Recurring closing announcements is also unnecessary, especially when employees recognize regular customers. It can be very disruptive and does not provide a welcoming environment. I respect Starbucks closing hours and have never overstayed past the closing time.

The employees are rude, point blank and it's not new if you see current and past reviews. Mobile orders never fulfilled, told they would be ready in x amount of mins and is never ready. Long lines both in store and out when half the items are sold out. Employees telling you your order doesn't exist when you've been ordering the same drink for years. Train your employees right on not only customer service which is the field they are in BUT YOUR COMPLETE MENU! Owner/manager of store does not do anything to rectify these issues other than to go to the website and fill out repetitive information. Do yourself a favor, go to Harris Teeter if they're open or make the drive to Burtonsville, whom are not only consistent, they are kind.

We come here very often for coffee or tea and to study. The staff is high energy and happy to help but the cafe is always dirty. Either the table or the pickup area is always dirty. After waiting 20 minutes for my order to be prepared, my name is called by the male employee with dreads and I am told that they did not make cold brew today, makes no sense as to how they even allowed for the order to be processed when they knew they were out of it, and why it took 20 minutes for a freaking employee to notice and say something, after wasting all of that time I’m rewarded with a refund that doesn’t even process to your debit card. It gives you stars inside of a app. I don’t want to buy your coffee if your service will continually decline, ever since you combined the two stores, and made the one inside of the shopping center with Best Buy, the service has gone down drastically. I do not typically leave reviews. I have never had a bad experience at this Starbucks for what it's worth. The team is consistently fast and courteous at the drive-thru. However that isn't the point of this review. I want to take a minute to share that every time I pull up to any drive-thru, whether it be Starbucks or whatever, I want to see Walter standing there. Actually, anytime I am buying anything, I wish I was dealing with Walter. Sure Walter has great customer service skills, but he also has an incredible energy. I know Walter and I have only exchanged a few words, such as "do you want a straw," but he shares a presence or an energy--something intangible. I think I am more energized by Walter than by drinking the coffee. I don't get Starbucks everyday, when I do I usually remember Walter may be at this drive-thru. It just makes my day better. The reader of this review may find it a bit strange. I get it. You have to experience Walter for yourself to understand. I'm sure others out there have had the Walter experience and could share too. Hopefully this review leads to only positivity for Walter and the rest of the hardworking team at the Starbucks. Though it is unclear to me how that may manifest, that is my intention in writing this review.

I've edited my review of this place, because each time I have been here the drinks have been a hit or miss... I've been here constantly and occasionally the drinks tasted watered down which is why I had stopped coming here until today. The store further down on route 1 towards collage park was closed down so I wanted to give this place another chance. I didn't mind the fact that they were all out of the pumpkin drinks and decided to get my usual a Caramel Macchiato, but I guess due to the shortage of supply they are skimming on customers by watering down their drinks. I won't be coming back to this store.

The drive-thru lady, ( Chrystal ) always has a bad attitude & is soooo difficult to deal with!! I honestly believe she thinks that she owns the place. 🤦🏻♀️ Her Attitude SUCKS, BAD!!! Management isn’t really that much better, but CHRYSTAL should most definitely NOT be a barista, let alone be in customer service!!!! Find the next local Starbucks to visit. I promise you’ll thank me later! Don’t do it to yourself. You will be lucky if you even get the correct coffee here. ☕️

This is probably the worst Starbucks in the area, if I can be honest. They’re ALWAYS sold out of items. At the moment, you can’t get ANY frapps at this location. I don’t understand how it’s neighboring store in the Corridor is always fully stocked, but they never are? Just close it down smh

Have visited 3 times. All 3 times, store was out of some essential ingredient and could not fulfill the order. Today, I waited for 23 minutes in the drive thru line, just to be told they were out of cold brew. Slow, inefficient and poorly supplied.

Mary is awesome. She literally has the same pleasant personality each and every time I visit the location. I am a frequent Starbucks visitor, my drinks are always made to my liking and the employees in the morning are always nice to encounter.
