It's always great to see a movie here. Nice snacks, too, more variety than a normal movie theater!

Always a great place for a movie and date night. The wife and I love coming here. Prices are very reasonable and so are the concessions.

Great place it would be nice if the rules would actually be enforced. Cars were idling the whole movie I have to move three times the exhaust sinks

I thought it was nice but I saw one of the managers yelling at one of the employees. It was really upsetting and it seemed for a ridiculous reason. They accidentally gave the person in front of me the wrong drink or at least I thought. Cool oldies vibe but don't like how they treat their employees.

Kids got to experience the drive in for the first time and loves it! Great family outing and good food. Would recommend getting there early to have time to enjoy the food and playground before the movie starts. Also, if you have a truck, getting there allows you to get the best spots in the third row. (Only cars are allowed in the first two rows.)

Awesome!! From the 50s diner experience to the movie in our car. Went twice and plan to again in other states as we travel. Way better than the theaters.

This place is really nice to bring the family to watch movies in or outside your vehicle. Went here to watch Bob Marley and The Beekeeper for one single price. Highly recommend, nice and clean place. Will be coming back to watch more movies.

I just love coming here. Not only is it affordable entertainment, the atmosphere is awesome. The food is all pretty good and not any more expensive than any other fast food places. We used to enjoy getting there early and the kids would play at the playground before. Just a cool place to go.!

What a great experience and time with the wife. Sitting on the tailgate watching a movie with popcorn and our Frito Pies was perfect.

I just want to give praise to the young girl with the pig tails that worked the counter by herself. I don’t know how she kept her composure but some how she did. I hope management appreciates her. She’s a keeper. Happy Holidays!!

I love coming here no better way to watch a movie, and definitely recommend the Chihuahua sandwich from the 50's cafe!

THIS PLACE SUCKS! It was my first time and I thought it was going to be loud like the regular movie theaters but nope,I couldn't hear a thing! The screen is very dark you can barley see it. I'm very disappointed. Never coming here again.

First time ever going to a drive in movie theater. Took kids as well. We had a great time. Hubby had went as a child growing up. He’s 20 yrs older than me. So he knew what to do and how things work. We saw the new Blue Beetle movie. It was awesome! A Must See!

Amazing place to take the family, so much parking space, a little park for the kiddos and lots of snacks for the movie.

Took my wife to the drive in last night 8/19/2023. It was her first experience to go to one since she was born and raised in Germany and I can honesty say she was greatly disappointed. We were trying to enjoy the movie but it seems the people around us had no regard for the rules of the drive in. Our daughter even was annoyed by the people idling their vehicles to the point where she went to the concession stand and complained several times with the assurance from the staff that they would take care of the problem. Needless to say they never came out and took care of problem. It seems to me that you and your staff is not interested in providing an enjoyable family outing since you are did out find it important enough to fix this. Can honestly say we will not be back to your drive in and will tell anyone else not to attend your business. Thank you for a terrible experience,Kenny Hickey

Wonderful time so glad we have a drive in

So much fun! It is also reasonable cheap. $9 for 2 movies!! At other theaters it’s way more. On top of that it is a special and fun experience you can’t find anywhere else. If your kids get bored while waiting there is also a playground! This place really does keep the magic alive!

Great experience watching Oppenheimer. The screen is good quality. We could walk around without disturbing anyone. And tickets were reasonably priced. Plus the bathrooms were very clean.

There are lots of mosquitoes out there this year try to get some bug spray or a candle for the top of your car.

At the start the screen was really hard to see, especially when the scene was dark. There was also a group of children that never got quiet. Otherwise I like the ambience and double features for the price of one.

Stars and stripes offers a great evening out for a lesser price! We enjoy catching two features while feasting on popcorn, Cokes and all of the goodies that they have at the concession stand. Great summer opportunity to be out with family! Definitely a place to go check out and enjoy. Located on the north side of Lubbock on highway 84 between slide road and a loop.

50 style drive-in movie theater with a great little snack shack.

We had so much fun. Food was good. Must try the jalapeño corn balls.

Always a fun time, with a 50's retro vibe and the latest movies. Movie theater snacks are also available inside the main building. My only gripe is with people who park all the way up by the screen and don't know how to turn the lights off on their cars, if you're not sure on how your car works, please park farther back or on the ends of the rows.

The movie was too dim and there is a street light right underneath the screen. We couldn't even tell what was going on most of the time. Too many people turning their car lights on and off during the movie also.

Love that Lubbock has a drive-in! We go often. Nice consession stand and bathrooms. The kids can play in the play area to get their energy out while we wait for the movie to start. My only issue with it is that it's right next to train tracks, so sometimes you can't hear the movie over the train whistles.

The two screens nearest the highway are very loud. Trains go back and forth and blow the horn at the intersection. Semi's are nonstop. Movie variety is decent

Movie experience was fine, but I would never recommend the food. My entire family got upset stomachs and was sick for the rest of the evening. They needed to replace their fryer grease and potentially mishandled meat.

I just started going this year and while getting to some of the screens can be confusing in the dark, the food is relatively cheap, the movies are cheap, it's an overall good experience, and it's safe to go alone or w a friend. Prefer this over traditional movies.

Fast service and we got there a little early to pick a good parking spot but there is plenty of room. I went here with my boyfriend plus my sisters in August. It was fun and we watched the conjuring.

My 2nd visit and it truly doesn't disappoint! The movie was great and the 50's Cafe wonderful. The whole look and vibe Is a must see!

If you want food right before the movie starts forget it you will miss part of your movie recommend showing up an hour before your show so you don't miss the beginning of your movie

Always a great time at the drive in! I love that I don't have to worry about how loud my kids laugh at a movie, I can control the volume, and the food at the Cafe is always delicious. Everything is always clean and well maintained. The playground is perfect for the kids before the movie! The best date spot in town for a couple or a family. I haven't been to a movie in over two years or a drive in since the last one shut down in Oklahoma during the May 3rd tornado! I took my son and grandsons it was awesome!

A wonderful experience. I'm glad to be able to take my family to a place, that I enjoyed in my youth. The line seemed long; however, the employees were efficiently moving along, and we were in within minutes. Experienced 2 movies in a way that my family has never experienced before! Thank you!

I enjoyed my experience tonight going to see Minions. I was originally going with a friend because we wanted to get out and have fun and see a random movie for the heck of it. The movie was funny and great and the team works hard to keep up the standards of quality rather than quantity. One of the managers named Gunther came and checked screens to make sure lights were off and not shinning on the screen. The playground was really clean for a playground and the inside was swept and cleaned really well. Even the bathrooms were super clean. I enjoyed it a lot 10/10 and will go again. Thanks for the wonderful experience tonight! <3

I absolutely love going out to Stars and Stripes! They are always showing the newest movies, the atmosphere is great, the food is good, and the place is very clean. If you are looking for a fun night, I would recommend. 10/10

Want to be gaslighted by the 17 year old staff? How about missing the first half of every movie you attend? How about being denied refunds after being treated in such a way and missing my movie. Pay the extra 3 bucks and save on the gas.

Stars and Stripes Drive-In is literally the nicest, cleanest, and most well kept drive-in I've ever visited in my 46 years. The admission and concession prices are very reasonable! The concession stand has an eat-in seating area with 50's style decor. Very cool! My wife and I found this gem on our last day in Lubbock and so happy we got the chance to watch a movie on the big screen here! It's a stroll down memory lane! We can't wait to visit again!

Love it here! We come almost every week for a family outing. Great food and the ticket prices are awesome. We love the playground too and only downside is when cars around u constantly turn on the lights or flash the screen. Also, having bigger SUVS in the first 2 rows made it hard to see the last couple of times and we have to find another spot, but we always come back and will continue to do so! Thank you for alll you do!❤️🙌🤗
