We felt right at home when we walked in. Food was Fantastic

Had the Friday night fish fry - walleye and bluegill, and both were excellent.

They were doing the best they could with the staff they had. Wait was long for pizza and it wasn't that busy. Pizza wasn't that great, it was kind of soggy and waaayyyy overpriced

It is such a great place to experience the Northwoods charm and beauty. Friday fish fry is one of the best I've ever had. Must stop and try their fish. You'll be hooked!

What a great restaurant in Star Lake. We all had the Bluegill fish fry, coleslaw and French fries with much delight. Rayanne was our server and did a wonderful job serving our small group. Easy parking and access to facilities. I will come back again in the future and try the Jumbo Shrimp! Happy Birthday!!!

Restaurant was clean, music and conversation volume was pleasant, food and service were both top notch. I had the Star Laker burger. The fries were perfectly hot and crispy and didnt need any additional seasoning

My family and I have ate at A LOT of different restaurants in Wisconsin getting on and off trails, breakfast, and dinner. Stillwater was a disappointment! Few reasons why; The Bloody Mary pictured was $15, which was more than my cheeseburger basket!! 🤔 Considering several other restaurants in the area charge about $8.50 for the same garnishments and served in a larger glass I thought this was bit pricey. The owner said she never heard of free refills on soda?!?!? Again, we’ve ate at several different restaurants and to be honest we’ve never been charged for a fountain soda refill (which Stillwater's are served in the small plastic cup pictured) so we were a little thrown off by that as well. We had a party of 6, couples of twos, we wanted to split the bill and they don’t allow that - fine, just a bit of an inconvenience. Lastly, to top it all off the food wasn’t all that good which just made all the above even more irritating. There are plenty of good restaurants around to deal with this. Stillwaters is the perfect definition of a Northwoods tavern. I mean it is probably one of the coolest most friendliest places I've ever drank in, mainly because of Karen (the owner).
