Great Destination for a wedding venue!

Easy parking , cozy lodge and nice slopes for us senior citizens

Take a step back in time and take a run or two, or spend the day at Mt. Ellen. Uncrowded with an old-timey feel but 4 high-speed chairs that give you lots of options for exploring the slopes. Very basic base lodge with everything you need for a day on the slopes and no fancy hotels or lodging at the base means even less crowding. And when you're ready for more, take the Slide Brook chair back to the Lincoln Peak area for even more.

Haven't skiied here for a long time until recently. Caught the mtn after a snowfall and it was great. Lodge at Mt Ellen was nice and clean. Ski lifts were fine. Variety of terrain suitable for all levels. Ample parking.

Friendly and fun place to ski! Awesome deals on lift tickets on Thursdays to ski Mt. Ellen. Beautiful views and conveniently situated lodge, ski rental shop and ticket office near free parking.

A great time this week, despite it being a holiday week. The crowds were mild in light of that. Really enjoy Sugarbush anytime I ski here.

This side of the mountain has an old skool vibe to it which is fantastic. Great mountain with almost no lines.

Skiing was spectacular and even on a busy holiday weekend the lines moved quickly. My family likes the amenities better at Mr. Lincoln (more variety, more gluten free choices) but the lodge food was fine albeit expensive.

Got the opportunity to go up four and a half hours to Sugarbush for two days (Mon& Tues). I car camped in the bottom lot of Mt Ellen and woke up to the big ole gal each morning. I had a most amazing time! I don't think that they've gotten any new snow for a bit but the mountain ops team made sure that conditions were prime. Staff was awesome, both Lincoln and Ellen were firing on all pistons. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for a real good time!

They need to open Slide Brook Express Quad chairlift to have 5 stars.

Great time here! The runs are about 70% advanced and 30% beginner to intermediate. Small, local ambiance. The new addition for 2022 is a bigger Vermont adaptive section, which is dedicated to helping people with disabilities to enjoy the mountains. Totally recommend it.

Mt. Ellen is less crowded and has some awesome uphill travel access. Fun lodge with an outdoor patio and bar area / live music and specials.

Need to invest in new lifts ASAP. North ridge breaks down basically every weekend. Go somewhere else until they fix the lifts. Terrible experience

The lesser known part of Sugarbush, It used to be independent. No crowds mid-week and the snow was great.

Worked there for a week and stood at the resort. Food is a bit pricey in the area but it's a very beautiful place

Mt. Ellen is a nice mountain with a good range of terrain. It's part of Sugarbush, but a Mt. Ellen-only ticket is much cheaper than Sugarbush.

Open the lifts earlier please, otherwise, great mountain!

Awesome mountain to avoid the crowds, smaller but diverse terrain and alot of fun.

Five stars, 10/10, you can see Lake Champlain from the top!

Skiing 10.0 definitely some of the best the east has to offer. If you are looking for bells and whistles, go elsewhere. If you are looking for just the best skiing, views, trails and feel of east coast skiing in Vermont then, this might be it.

Good snow. Newly renovated lodge. Great trails with that old New England ski feel.

the crowd there is very nice. they had multiple lift issues the day I was there which lead to 3 20 min lift lines throughout the day

Love the upgraded lodge but if you're not going to allow boot bags in the lodge you need a much, much large area for storage!! Should have also kept the stairs!

Just a fantastic place,something for everyone

I went to the Vermont Adaptive part of the resort as a Veteran to learn how to ski. This is a wonderful place. I am so happy to have participated in this program.

Wonderful mountain. Not too big not too small. Nice bar and grill at the base lodge.

Great skiing and significantly less crowded than the other side. Snow was good most of the day, good variety of runs…would like more lifts/terrain to be open, but it’s still fairly early in the season so we can let it go

Excellent skiing. Great resort. Ski to slopes from the resort .long routes will take over an hour to get to bottom. Service at the resort was excellent. They treat Canadians especially fantastic. Can't wait to go back

Old school Vermont ski mountain

My Ellen is the smaller side of Sugarbush resort. It is usually much less crowded with short or no lift lines. It is an old style lodge that has a lot of ambiance. The parking lot is the typical tier type but the transport shuttle passes ever few minutes so it is easy to get from your car to the lodge if you don't want to walk. The trails are usually also less crowded. There is a high speed quad that will take you to the main mountain when it's running. Check it out and have fun. Ski On!!!

Hidden Gem. Amazing people, service, warm feeling all around.

We had to wait a while for the ski rental shop to open because they could not find the key. Skiing was great. Not all lifts open. Food on top floor great. Service for food great. Lodge is not fancy. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday. It was not busy. Lift ticket purchase system is all on- line, no staff except inside at the guest service counter.

Great crusing slopes, plus steeps, bumps, parks and anything else you would want to ski.
