A very friendly place. Everyone was so nice. Willing to help you as soon as you walk in... I love all the photos of the famous people hanging all throughout the restaurant... It's a nice touch.

$11 for the lunch special if you pay cash! 2 HUGE slices freshly made and a drink! You’ll spend double at a fast food place for the amount you get here!!!! Atmosphere is fun and playful - Sardo will give you a sarcastic italian comeback if you say something stupid. They are great. Family owned and operated. I work next door and they are always so fast with their orders and it’s always filled with customers. My favorite lunch spot! Oh, and YOU NEED TO TRY THE MEATBALL SLIDERS, omg.

Very cool NY style restaurant in Clearwater Florida. Real Brooklyn vibes. Tons of cool old photos hanging all over the place. A quality NY slice. I also tried the Sicilian slice which was light and airy and super crunchy. That was very good as wall.

Been coming here for about 8 years and the food still is as great as my first time in 2016. Unfortunately I don't get over to Pinellas as much as I used to since moving to Lakeland, but whenever I'm in the area, I make sure I get my fix in. This place has unlimited options of amazing pizza, pasta and specialty items you can't find anywhere outside of NY. Everything is nothing short of amazing and impossible to just choose 1 item. I'm from Bay Ridge and Long Island so I'm a pizza snob. Most places down here don't come close to what I'm accustomed to. You can see a lot goes into his food besides the freshest ingredients, love for the people he serves and actually making pizza. Sardos is a guru among us pizza connoisseurs. His personality in itself is worth the price of admission. He makes everyone feel like family which is rare in this day. If you haven't tried, you're missing out on a lot. Sardo and his staff are top notch, definitely a step back in time of a pizzeria in Brooklyn and that's a good thing.

I live in Winter Garden and I will drive here just for pizza , as there isn't place I've encountered that's like this place in central Florida. The food is directly out of Brooklyn, no where in Pinellas county can compare, not to mention the Sardo himself is the worth the trip.

Sounds bad. However, want to start out saying I detest giving a bad review. Garlic knots had no flavor. Pizza was good enough, but calling it a Sicilian was a stretch. Dough was dry and tasteless and hardly any cheese. Also there were no drops/spoonfuls of marinara/pizza sauce making it super dry.

Really great pie! The regular pizza and the Grandma Pizza are both excellent!

I had heard about this place on local radio show a while back but I had never found My way over here. I have to say that MJ knows his pizza. I expected less a restaurant and more just a place to take out a slice or two, however I was pleasantly surprised that it’s a sit down restaurant too. The pizza was really good. I would say it’s the closest I’ve had to NY pizza since I’ve been here. If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a hundred times it’s the sauce that makes it tasty like NY pizza not the water, lol. I loved this sauce and the taste brought me back to NY. If you want an authentic slice or a whole pie Sardos is with the drive to Largo.

Stopped in the other night and picked up two pizzas and ravioli. All delicious. The pizzas are huge! Awesome foldable slices, I love it. Service was great and right on time. What’s not to love? Been here before and will be back again. 👍👍

Great pizza and sandwiches, we always get a large pizza and a cold cut, no olives and it never disappoints. When our office orders, we order from Sardo's. Family owned, the owner is a bit of an old timey ballbuster, just like you'd want at a local pizza spot. One of the only spots we order from with regularity. Beautiful new floors, and watch out for flying dessert brownies.

U will never find real Ny taste of pizza anywhere but here ... people say Ny pizza .. not there here. . Best. ..

I got delivery and it was here in less than 30 minutes. I ordered lrg meat lovers and mozzarella sticks. I love how they put real sausage and not those little balls like the others. Delicious food

We have been here a number of times and have always had a great experience and excellent food. Today was no different. We just stopped in and grabbed lunch. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I don’t know what the previous reviewer was talking about as far as a charge to clear your own table. This is a counter service family restaurant. If you don’t know what that means then maybe you should just stick with Olive Garden.

We ordered Margarita Pizza. The tomatoes, spinach and ingredients that typically go on the pizza were charged separately. There is a clear sign at the door with the Specials and I was charged a la carte. I don’t recommend any pizAs with vegetables. Slices are reheated and not fresh. Also there is a service fee and you have to clean your own table. lol 😆.I don’t mind doing that but when you are ripping people off the least you can do is clear the table. I paid $30 for a $10 dollar lunch. It brakes my heart because I really wanted to like it and become a return customer but unfortunately I won’t be back. The service was not the greatest.

White Pizza crust was burnt and was cold when my son brought it home (I live 5 minutes from Sardo’s). Not worth the $25.00! The likelihood of ordering from here again is slim to none!

I traveled 50 minutes to get Sardos (because i moved north like a stunada fongool) and its worth every minute. If you aint had Sardos, your momma didnt raise you right 💪🤌

Best Pizza 🍕 I've ever had and Great Service every time.

This is by far my favorite place to enjoy some pizza. I try to stop in at least a few times a month at lunch to grab a couple of slices. The staff is awesome, the owner cracks me up...just a funny, friendly man. I brought a co-worker with me one day and she loved the food and the staff and can't wait to go back. My husband loves the stromboli , the meatball sliders and garlic knots are another of our favorites. If ya never been there, ya gotta try it. The food is so delicious 😋

Quality of the food was about as good as the service

We discovered Sardo's by accident a few months ago after moving to the area, and it's been one of our best pizza experiences in Florida so far. Since then, we've visited several times, mostly for takeout, but we also dined in once. The team is great and friendly, and every pizza we've tried, along with the sliders, has been really good! We're so glad that places like this still exist today. Thank you, and we can't wait to come back!

Great neighborhood pizza place !

We did take out, but everything looked clean and well managed. Service was wonderful when we were checking out. The food was awesome. My husband had the cheesesteak and he said it was really good. I had the grandma‘s personal pizza. I forgot to ask for it to be cooked a little longer, my fault, but was still really good. I love the freshness of the crust and sauce. The wings were seasoned perfect, meaty and sooo tender delicious. We love this place. You can tell that they care about what they are doing here. Can’t wait to try more!

Been going there for years. Every time you can smell and feel the passion in the air that they have for their food and service. It's one of those things you'll remember the most if you move out of the area. Unique but great taste.

I can't comment on dining in because we have never dined in , only ordered delivery but we have ordered almost everything on their menu and they are by far our favorite pizzeria/Italian food place around. Their sandwiches on their home made bread are all loaded and delicious. They are one of only a few pizza placed that make authentic style Sicilian pizza and their pizza is the best. I think their Margarita pizza may rival the best pizza we have ever had anywhere . Growing up in NY and moving here over 25 years ago and experiencing the many pizzerias advertising "NY style or Chicago style pizza" ,we can honestly say Sardo's makes the best pizza in Florida from what we have experienced to date. There are a few other really good places around but Sardo's is definately among the best . Always very friendly when ordering and delivery time is always fast . Great place !!

Five stars across the board. You won't find better pizza in Tampa Bay. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The last time I was there, they threw in a couple of pieces of fried eggplant so I could try it. Gave both to my picky one-year-old, and he loved it. Those will be a standard part of my order going forward.

If I could rate with 10 stars I would. SARDOS PIZZA is excellent. Not just the food either. The customer service as well as the atmosphere is what sets this place apart from all the others. By far our families favorite place. Family owned and operated and it shows. You can always tell who really cares and the amazing team they have certainly does. They just aren't making them like this anymore. Everything is going corporate and big business. Places like Sardos are the backbone of our society.

Good credit was given where earned including 5 stars on your food. Plenty of other reviews support similar behavior. We're all going through stuff and have tough days, don't take it out on your customers. How you treat people matters. Rise up, do better. If you'd like great pizza with poor customer service, this is your place. Incredibly disappointed w/ the way I was spoken to while trying to place an order today. This is our office's favorite pizza place and our doctor was kind enough to provide us w/ a pizza luncheon today for admin appreciation day, however we had to order elsewhere. We placed an order 2 weeks ago for our office at which time the owner thanked me for how efficient I was when placing the order over the phone, jokingly asking if could train the others. After delivery we realized one of our 3 pizzas incorrect, I contacted them and they apologized for their error, kindly made us the correct pizza and delivered to us. They told us that due to their mistake they would send us some cannolis at no charge on our next order and asked that we remind them. Today when I tried to place our order, it did not go so well. I spoke to an employee to give our order and mentioned the cannolis they offered previously, he was uncertain about that, placed me on hold and the owner came to the line, he rudely asked me why he received multiple calls from our # and why we said nothing when he answered, I shared that I tried calling once and realized they were'nt yet open so quickly hung up and waited to call back after 10 AM, when I called again it rang and disconnected, that happened twice so I decided to wait a while longer thinking perhaps they needed some time to get going upon opening. He then rudely asked that I tell him why they "had" to comp us 2 cannolis, frustrated at this point, I replied, you don't have to comp us anything if you don't want to, but that was what was offered for the mistake with our previous order and I said we could order elsewhere if that was preferred. He rudely replied to say, yes, go ahead and order somewhere else and hung up. Horrible customer service, I don't care how good your food is, you don't treat people in such a manner. The worst of it all is this was something offered to us because they made a mistake with our previous order, perhaps don't offer that in the future or keep track of what you've offered to your patrons.

One of the best / if not the best Italian/NY pizzeria around. I was instantly met with greeting and smiles and the energy of the staff that brought me back to my childhood/young adulthood. Educated myself in the the menu but cracked jokes while making myself feel like family. I’m a competitive athlete and the portions were what you expect at a Sunday Italian Dinner. Love this place. Will be returning with my athletes, family and friends Bless you

We needed to find a place that would deliver on our first night in town. Super Sardo's did not disappoint! Quick delivery, and the pizza was delicious. Kids had pepperoni and cheese, mom and dad had sausage and pepperoni. The crust was thin with just enough crispiness to it. We ended up with plenty leftover for the next day! Highly recommend!

My family and I are here from Charlotte NC visiting friends in the Tampa area. Stopped by for early dinner on my way back from day at the beach. We ordered Pizza, Spaghetti, Meatball Roll, and few extras to take home with us. This is ABSOLUTELY one of the BEST Pizza Restaurants I've ever been in.. I've been to many over my 51 years of life and I'm telling you this is an amazing place to eat at. The service was excellent, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant was very clean.. great atmosphere!!! Wish we had one of these up in Charlotte. I'll be sure to make it a point to stop in every year we visit. Thank you For the experience

This used to be one of my favorite pizza shops, until today. I was horrified to see a dead roach in my order of fries! Thankfully i had not started eating yet. How does this go unnoticed? Absolutely unacceptable! We will likely never eat here again. Edit: to clarify, we called and explained the problem AND offered to bring the order back untouched. Order #98. The person who answered the phone stated that was not necessary bc she believed the statement. Perhaps we should have been contacted to apologize ? My review is not for the purpose of hurting anyone's family. As clearly you are aware, my husband has food service experience. Serving food with a roach isn't acceptable. As previously stated, we loved sardos pizza, but this isn't something that should be ignored. It is a fixable problem but not through overlooking it. Since the entire order is in a bag in the garbage, I'll gladly bring it to the shop tomorrow.

Honestly the BEST NY PIZZA in Pinellas County. I grew up with both parents being from NY City, so growing up they were both very picky with their pizza. I inherited the same taste and Sardos is by far the best around. Restaurant is always clean, employees are all awesome and the atmosphere and decor is great. Give it a shot, it won't disappoint!

Santo and his staff are awsome. It was our second time visiting and our second time leaving feeling like friends the food is great and Santo and his family and his staff are awsome. We will be back every time we are in town. The best cannoli I have ever had.

I haven't had a meal I didn't like. The vodka sauce is to die for! The pizzas are fabulous as well as the calzones. Highly recommend Suoer Sardo's Pizza.

We had the cheese calzone, 2 piece of pizza and soda deal, and the garlic knots. All was delicious, cooked to perfection with lots of great garlic flavor. Service was quick and the food was the best, very warm with gooey cheese. Highly recommend.

Ordered with co-worker, food was good. My co worker got charged for wrong item, she called in , manager or owner was snarky and rude with her. (She ordered a chicken parm, he charged her For 2 chicken cutlets over noodles with parm sauce?🤔) said it was her fault and told her to go cry about Food was decent, pizza sauce tasted canned though

Large party of 10, owner got us a table. The owner is funny, polite and friendly. Food is very tasty, and the atmosphere was extremely busy and loud but in a good way. People are having a nice time.

A local gem. What a wonderful experience my 1st time here was, very welcoming and an old school vibe. I enjoyed a hot Italian sub, wings with the Stella's Garlic Teriyaki sauce & Meatballs with Ricotta were spot on. Topped it all off with a Cannoli which was delicious. And as I was leaving, who I believe was the Manager (or Owner) offered me a sample Potato Croquette, which I ate cold on the car, it was good but I'm sure heated up with Marina it would of been even better! I'll be back for sure! Stromboli & Pizza are next on the agenda!!

Was double charged and when I called to let them know I was told that they don't need my business and asked what I would do about it. VERY RUDE!!!

Had the NYC & the Sicilian...both very good although the Sicilian was more the standout since you don't often get that option. Also the rollitino was great (eggplant rolled in cheese)
