I’m gonna give this place 2 stars only because of the prices.. it’s great but you will get two small ice creams and your total will be 15.00??? It’s sad.. I heard they are retiring so maybe that was it. If someone takes over I hope they adjust prices.

The cone is always a great experience. The staff and ice cream is always amazing. We like the pinball machines as well.

In a recent experience (2024) employee told me their website is not current(as of at least 2 years), so the items I tried to order for my family were not available. Be aware of this and have at least one backup. Beside that, the line can get pretty nuts. But if you get past those two things, this is some really good ice cream. All the soft serve flavors are delicious. I recommend trying the blueberry swirl if you enjoy Kings Island blue(Smurf) cones. The fruit toppings are also pretty great, just a fruit sundae was never something I thought I'd love so much. The cookie dough is like a sugar cookie with chocolate chunks, and is interesting. Kinda like movie theater cookie dough without the fudge coating, so make sure to get fudge topping if you get cookie dough.

I just bought a caramel truffle parfait. The ice cream was completely melted. All I had was bits of these "peices" in milk. It was nasty. Time before I bought I asked for whipped cream. I only got one small splat as if it shot out from an empty can. The ice cream was melted and had way too many pieces of candy. It's like a 3 year old made it. If i wanted just candy i would go to a candy shop. Three strikes this summer, never again. I don't understand the popularity with the quality of product being so poor. Then there are the tip jars for "poor" college students which I found to be a turn off. I just wish I could post a picture of the product I paid over 8 dollars for. Half of the cup is fulled with the candy peices and syrup. Ugh. Put the ice cream back in your products. I want a refund.

Seasonal ice cream place with ice cream cakes

The Cone is our favorite spot to grab a treat for the family! We've been going for years and love it each and every time. The staff may be young, but they are always kind, and the ice cream is the best soft serve in the city!

I like soft serve ice cream. I just got an orange sherbert twist with a nut-sprinkle mix. It was exactly what I remembered getting after winning softball games when I was little. My sister got a banana split, she thought the amount of banana was lacking compared to the loads of ice cream it came with. It was decently expensive, but I guess you might be paying for some of the experience as the building is unique, and there is a small arcade attached. It looks like they sell ice cream cakes and pints to take home as well.

Best ice cream in the area !! Its soft serve. They give us very big portion with not so expensive. Basically you get what you pay for and its really paid off ! We always stop by when its open season. Love the services too. They always greet us with the big smile on their face.

Cool soft serve spot with lots of flavors to choose from. Be ready for long waits though, this place is popular and draws large crowds for a reason. Recent trip proved disappointing, service was terrible, I would not return here again.

I live in the south, but when I travel to Cincinnati, I always visit this place. They are often crowded, but everything moves fast. The ice cream is the best, especially the peanut butter. Everyone is friendly and seems to be in a good mood, including the customers (of course ice cream makes everyone happy). The one topping I won't add are the buckeyes. Go blue!

Cone is goated. I try to go at least once a week in the summer. Everything is good. I suggest a mega banana boat, sub in peanut butter ice cream.

First timer at the cone and I had the peach soft serve. The flavour was so natural, no overpowering and not unnecessarily sweet as opposed to other franchises. The portions were also very large and sufficient I would recommend a small size for one person. Glad to know this is a family owned business and must have for summer!

Love the peanut butter ice cream

The Peanut Butter ice cream dipped in chocolate was divine. I always come back to Ohio yearly and The Cone is a must go to, every time.

I used to love the flavor of this soft serve. Did you change the recipe of your vanilla ice cream?? I don't think I will be back for awhile especially since it's so expensive.

Truly the the best of a Dying Breed of whippy dips. They have such a great setup for little kids including a game room, small rides and great ice cream! Parking is a little challenging but perfectly reasonable and worth it

All the flavors were awesome! Such a fun place to visit and the drive through line moved very fast! Had two workers out with tablets like Chick-fil-A taking orders- very efficient!

After receiving my milk shake I put it in the cup holder in my console, once I got back on the road I picked the shake up to take a drink and the lid wasn't secured causing the shake to spill all over me. I had to pull over to clean the mess up. The Cone has lost my business.

We decided to wait for drive thru, I believe they had 5 lanes with several cars in each. The lines flowed easily and gave plenty of time to pull up the app. Decided on a medium Wizard, which small would have been plenty. Service by attendants, cashier, and ultimately person handling our order was nothing short of perfect. Can't wait to go back!

got ice cream at labor day fireworks 7 years ago and have been “chasing the dragon” ever since. only to find out it was about 10 minutes away from where i lived. amazing, best orange ice cream ever

So many ways to enjoy The Cone: On the go, inside and outside with family or not. My kids love multiple flavors of ice cream, plain or swirled. Not to mention the shaved ice, wizzards (think like DQ blizzards) and parfaits. So many options! Just a fun way to spend time enjoying a sweet treat. Busy often but they have a pretty solid system to get you through.

One of our local summer time favorites. Great family owned business. Nice soft serve ice cream. My favorite is vanilla cone dipped in chocolate but a diverse menu for the more adventurous.

Great place for ice cream. I got their chocolate swirl. Even their medium is pretty large, so I recommend getting small if you feel full! Nonetheless, it tasted amazing. I would love to try their strawberry swirl next time.

Love the cone it's great however the people in charge of lining up cars in the drive thru need to learn that cars roll down hill. I will never follow their instructions again to get right up on someone's bumper. I always like to keep space to give people room incase they roll back but dude was very insistent that I get as close as humanly possible to the car in front of me and Lo and Behold the car in front of me rolled back and hit me.

The ice cream was really good and the price wasn't bad. The drive through is a bit of a journey but pretty cool once I figured it out.

I love the cone best ice cream around But I'm not sure if they change the crunch coat are they're buying crunch coat and adding a bunch of Jimmy's to it. The last few times I've been there this summer I always get a side of crunch coat but this year it's been mostly jammies and a little bit of crunch coat so if you did change the company you're working with please go back to crunch coat

This is the place for a non dairy cone. They have two different options for you. The price is fair and you get a good amount for your money.

Their drive thru is in a snake pattern around three buildings. Have a large selection. Prices were higher than another place I frequent. Has a play area for kids. Lots of old school attractions.

The cone had two long lines waiting for the best soft serve in Cincinnati Ohio. I enjoyed a sunday, and it was well worth the wait. Create a sweet memory; vist The Cone it is fantastic

The ice cream is always good. Even when the line is long (in person or drive thru) it moves quickly.

Soft-serve ice cream with rapid walk-up and drive-thru service. Several sugar-free options. Significantly less crowded than in years past, perhaps because servings have gotten smaller. We don't mind that, but others might.

A fun place to go with a great variety of soft serve sunday's milkshakes and other things. Very congested area and the parking is not so great.

A favorite of mine since I can remember! We went back a few days ago after at least 5-6 years and it’s still the same quality I remember! The coin operated rides are still in fantastic shape and they still have about every dipped cone flavor that you can think of under the sun! So happy they’re still up and running and providing a great atmosphere and quality ice cream!

Our favorite ice cream place! Great soft serve, quick service, friendly staff.

Lots of options. One time, I got the tiramisu wizzard (like a blizzard) and it was good but it was too sweet for me. The next time, I got a chocolate soft serve in a cake cone (classic) and it was great! My husband got the orange and vanilla swirl and he said it tasted like fruity pebbles. Definitely recommend.

Lots of soft serve ice cream treats to choose from. They offer cones, parfaits, banana splits and other options. To my surprise they have a variety of pinball machines. I can see myself going back for ice cream and pinball. Now if I could just get them to let me bring over some of my arcade machines it would be a real retro arcade. 😁

Omg what a wonderful ice cream shop definitely bring the family wait bring the neighbors. The Cone has tons of flavors and different types of ice cream/yogurt for all ice cream eaters. Enjoy

It was a very rainy day, and we decided to go through the drive thru!!! At first, it all seemed a little intimidating. The drive thru was very busy it seemed much longer than it actually was. Very efficient way to get more customers in and not back up the road. The kids love that the building looked like a cone. They asked if they could come back and not go to the drive thru next time!!! The seemingly long line went by really quick. The ordering was efficient, and the young man collecting the money has great customer service . Our order was ready as soon as we pulled forward!!! Considering the rain and going through the drive thru, it was a great visit.

This place is an ice cream lover's dream! I got a chocolate swirl cone but I've had the orange swirl also. Both were great! There is a game room, lots of seating and a kid's play shelter. It has a long drive thru lane that wraps around the storage next to it. I'm sure that helps keep traffic from backing up o to Tylersville Road. If you're debating on going, just do it! You will NOT regret it!

The ice cream is so freakin amazing. I could have it everyday! The kids love it. Other than the amazing taste, the fact that it doesn't melt all over you is a relief. I don't mine having their ice cream everyday.

Couldn’t resist the adorable building so we stopped by. All of the ice cream was delicious, the cheesecake on a stick was a good choice too. The location isn’t the best, very steep way in and out.

Ok, first off it’s shaped like an ice cream cone! This place is all about fun and marks all of my boxes for a summertime treat location. They have fun decor, it’s staffed by teenagers who enjoy their jobs and interact with the little kids coming there for a treat. And they have a drinking fountain where you’re putting your head in a lions mouth! What more do you need.

Great mom and pop shop that's been around the Cincinnati area for over 40 years. Perhaps longer I don't know, this is my first time. They have all sorts of ice cream and confectionaries, many different flavors in many different toppings. People here are kind and courteous and the location isn't bad at all. The parking a little hairy, but overall it's a great place. High school kids run it in the evenings I think with adult supervision, and they're pretty good pretty nice pretty kind and pretty helpful for that matter. Prices are on par for just about any other ice cream joint like it. Good service good location good food, what's not to like? If you've never been, next time you have a hunger for ice cream, give the cone a try. There is indoor seating, and outdoor seating, there is an indoor arcade room and an outdoor kiddie ride place.
