Great sushi place. Got there around noon by 1 pm it was packed. Fast service, quality food.

Really decent, fresh sushi that has good lunch specials. My husband ordered the three handroll special for lunch , and I ordered the mixed sushi special with two cut rolls. It came with greens and miso soup, and we were both quite satisfied by the amount of food as well as the quality. They also have good iced green tea.

Very attentive from the owner who is always there along 3 to 4 other sushi chefs to all their staff. The good from the menu is excellent for the low pricing they have but their off menu rolls are just spectacular. Here is a photo of one. Don’t ask the name because we never ask 🍣 ⭐️ 🍷 🍻

Excellent japonais à Los Angeles. La patronne est très gentille et accueillante. Le poisson est toujours frais du jour avec énormément de débit. Bref un endroit à ne pas manquer quand on est de passage à L.A.

Amazing food, super small seating space, make reservations in advance

Great atmosphere, the place looks great. Seats are comfortable and waiters are nice. The food is even better! I got the pop corn scallop and it's one of my favorite rolls after years of eating sushi. The entire exotic roll menu sounds delicious and I can't wait to try them all again!

My favorite sushi spot in LA. I drive here from the east side just so I can enjoy their food and especially their service and have been doing this since they opened, which I think was in 2009. Super reasonable prices. Great for date night or for groups. Always fresh and excellent quality and if you don't know what to order, you can ask for a recommendation.

Came here for my friend's birthday and was blown away by how friendly everyone was, minus the fact that they requested us to be out a little earlier than intended due to the size of our party. Our food was great and I don't think I've ever seen friends order as much sushi as they did that day. We'll definitely recommend this place however I do wish they had the buttery garlic edamame. luckily they had butter in the kitchen so I made it better myself.

First time we've been. Haru is amazing. A whirlwind of personality, talent and expert management of her restaurant and staff. Food was perfection in every sense. Silky shashimi and inventive, subtly balanced rolls. H makes you feel like family and it welcomes you back for even more. So pleased to have found this gem. Rare these days. Quality and value are off the charts.

I had bookmarked Sushi H to try the next time I was in the area and that day finally happened. Ordered the Red Snapper, Halibut, Albacore w-Crispy Onions, Seared Salmon, Ikura, Monkfish, & Squid. My FAVS were the Red Snapper & Halibut OK and the Monkfish Liver and Ikura!! Service was fast for the restaurant being packed with hospital staff, doctors, families or just sushi lovers. If you want fast service sit at the bar you will be out within 30-40mins!! Next time I am in the area I will certainly be back!!

Food was really good and fresh. I've never had sushi before, I always get the rolls, shrimp tempura is my go to. Last night was my first experience and it was amazing. The sushi was so fresh and and the rolls were cooked to perfection. Didn't do five stars because it was a little loud and I feel like i was having to yell just to speak with my friend and our server. Overall very nice place I would return and also recommend to others.

Was fine. Good tasting. Was bumped mnay times by staff trying to get orders from the sushi bar but it is a small space so not a big deal.

Lunch. Delicious food (bento box and sashimi salad) and generous portions. Very attentive and accommodating service. Music a bit loud. Nice ambiance. Great meal!

Haru has the best sushi in LA for a 2$$ sign search. Nice Patio overlooking San Vicente avenue in Beverly Hills. Friendly service and food comes quick. Lava stone is interesting and reminds me of a basque tapas dish. Eggplant carpaccio is delicious and much better than I had anticipated when my wife ordered it. Green tea ice cream is a great finisher along with chocolate cake and banana tempura. Prices are about right for what you get.

I have eaten in this place many times in the past. This time I came back after maybe not eating there for about a year. The food is still great I had the sushi and the salad. I made the mistake of sitting outside because they were a lot of flies. I should have said inside and it's also quieter inside. I think the flying might have gotten my food because I did feel terrible after eating there. I don't blame the restaurant because it must have been the Flies. I used to love this place because I work nearby but haven't been back in such a long time. This time it was still very pleasant and the food was still great.

Such a pleasant surprise. Within an hour of its opening, the place was filled with regulars, all of whom were on a first-name basis with who appeared to be the owner or chef or both, who herself darted about the floor serving dishes, bussing tables, and ensuring everything was as good as it could be. The food itself was lovely, from the excellent raw snapper with lemon salt (nigiri) to the hearty chicken curry.

The food was amazing! As soon as we came in they hurried to make everything perfect for us and accommodated us. They were kind to cut the chicken into smaller pieces for the kids! Great staff. We will definitely come back.

I've eaten sushi all over the world. Sooo, on a recent visit to LA I went to Sushi by H for a taste. I was blown away. Every sushi roll was superb. The most outstanding item was the fatty tuna sushimi. Absolutely out of this world. Simply put, try any sushi, sushimi item and you won't be disappointed. Service was outstanding.call for reservation as this place is small and can be a challenge to get in without a long wait. Again, great sushi, sake selections and unmatched service.

We had to wait and talked to all the locals who care me back all the time for the sushi. We knew we were in the right place. We sat right up in front of the action and got to discuss some of rolls and change some based on wheat we were feeling like. The fried rice roll was amazing and would go back again for more.

As the local upsman i eat at a lot of places in the area and this is by far the best sushi spot in the area!

My son and I enjoyed dinner here. Food was excellent and fresh. The service was warm and friendly and the prices were great, especially considering the quality of the food. It's a small neighborhood restaurant but would definitely come back when I'm back in L.A. My son also has Celiac's and they were very knowledge about what products did or didn't gluten. They even had gluten free soy sauce which is not easy to find at sushi restaurants.

This is a small place with 12 or so tables with a really local feel. Pretty simple interior and pretty good food. Incredibly fast service. Nice sushi menu. The owner is this cute lady that is busy doing everything in the front and back of the house working so fast and hard. Simple wine list but good sake list. You definitely should try it

So delicious! Had the sushi with the baked scallops, the one with the eel tempura, and the one that's completely deep fried. All were amazing. Service was great & quick.

The sushi here is always on point when I go. I enjoy the Vicente Roll (shrimp tempura with avocado and, I think imitation crab?). It's delicious. The grilled cod appetizer is always delicious. I order that on every visit. The albacore with onion... woo!! What I like the most is the owner. She has a very intense energy, because she moves very quickly and has very high energy. She's always determined to get everyone seating and served right away. She appears to genuinely care about her customers in my opinion. She's top notch and it make a me feel good to spend my money in places where they care about customer experience. She is very nice. I wish I could remember her name, but I think she is the "H" in Sushi by H. The service by the other employees is always great, too. Tiny bit on the pricier side (not over-priced), but with that, I believe you get the right quality of fish. This place is really cute and sitting on the (covered) patio on an evening with good weather is really nice. It is usually always crowded. I generally will call before I go, because sometimes you won't be seated for quite some time and the waiting area outside may be packed. I recommend reservations.

At least in the top 5 sushi restaurants that I've ever been to. It was a busy night when we visited and we didn't have reservations and they were able to accommodate us, albeit after a fairly lengthy wait. Nonetheless it was worth it.

It was good, but nothing crazy. Quality for the price you pay and I did enjoy that black cod we got. The wait got big fast and the outside area couldn't hold everyone very well. Patio wasn't a bad place to sit but a little cold. After asking they helped by turning on the heater.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s small and casual, but they use good quality ingredients. We enjoyed the Lava Stone (spicy tuna on crispy rice) and San Vicente roll. It’s affordable and they have great service. We made reservations for 7pm. If you’re arriving around 6:30, you don’t need to make a reservation. It was a full house by 7:30pm. Parking is easy: they have free parking spots in the neighborhood around the corner after 6pm. There are also some paid meter spots (pay until 8pm).

Had a wonderful time here. The staff is very friendly, the selection is great, and the prices is very reasonable. You might have to call ahead for reservations but we got very lucky just walking in. You should definitely check this place out.

Honestly, it is the best sushi I had in LA. Good quality at a reasonable price. The place is a bit noisy but the owner is super friendly and provides a good customer service. The menu offers a good variety of rolls, sashimi and cooked dishes. I will come back as soon as possible!

Very good sushi in a simple, low key, atmosphere with both indoor and patio seating. Met the chef-owner; she visited all the tables at the end of the night to say hello and ask about the dining experience. Their chicken teriyaki was also very good.

This is our #1 Sushi restaurant in Los Angeles -- interesting and original choices, including types of sushi, fish combinations, salads - as well as cooked food. Soooo delicious. The meals are truly mouth-wateringly good. The only downside: the restaurant is ALWAYS crowded, so call ahead and make a reservation and if the weather is mild, ask for a table outside, since inside it's hard to hear each other,

Honestly, this was the best sushi I have had in a long time. I got the Tornado roll which had tuna and avocado. Seaweed salad was also amazing as it wasn't sweet (or too sweet) and was fresh with tiny cucumber. So good! I wish...
