Some of the best Jamaican food in Lakeland!

FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!! RICE NOT COOKED FULLY, CHICKEN TASTED OLD MAC AND CHEESE WAS NASTY!! My first time ordering here and never again !! The worse !!

This has been our go to spot for authentic Jamaican food for 5 years now. My husband was raised in a Jamaican household and this is the closest he gets to his dad's food, so it really tastes like home to him. We love their jerk chicken/oxtail/curry meals but make sure to always come for their Cowfoot soup on Thursdays. It's creamy, the perfect amount of broth thickness, and every bowl has a tender cow foot in it along with dumplings and veggies. 10/10 rated soup. We recommend also getting it with a warm coco bread for dipping! P.s when ordering a meal with rice, ask for the oxtail gravy over the rice, it's amazing too. mon- Friday 11-2 they do $6.99 lunch special of curry chicken too!

I haven't been there in a couple of years I don't have much money so I don't get to go with every now and then but I did like the place when I went there hopefully I can get there again

Of all the carribean delight spots I've tried I think this one is the worst, not that the food is bad just the others are better. Auburndale CA carribean delight is probably the gold standard for me right now. Sweet ladies tho and food was fresh and cooked right. Would come back when I'm in the area again for sure . I've had the brown stew and jerk chicken dinner and would recommend them to others. Decent spice on the jerk not too bad

Has to be the worst Caribbean restaurant in Polk county food was very wet and unseasoned not flavorful at all bag was unprofessionally wrapped food slang everywhere and no refund from workers they laughed and acted as if they couldn't understand English very poor service and quality.

I normally only leave reviews when the service is bad, since we all have different taste buds. The food truck comes to my apartment in Baldwin park. The jerk chicken was awful , basically undercooked grilled chicken with hot jerk marinade/paste on top of it making it impossible to eat because it was too spicy.
