This winery has excellent 🍷 My favorite was Diamond and the award winning peach! It's a hair more $ than the other wineries we have been to for the tasting. You only get 3 choices for 12$ but great wine. You can sit in or outside as well. We will be back.

Stopped in today for a tasting around 3pm.. super cute place..however we waited at least 10 minutes.. the only staff member we saw was on the phone with a customer.. which was no problem.. we were totally fine with waiting..however there was absolutely no acknowledgement of us … whatsoever..so we left🥺 gave 2 stars as it was a cute place

Great time! Michelle was a wonderful hostess providing information on the wines and giving recommendations. Live music and plenty of space to enjoy your own picnic with their wines 🍷. Look forward to returning in the future.

A beautiful location just off I-64 in Shelbyville. The wine tasting was fun and delicious. The outdoor seating was quiet and scenic. We ended up buying a bottle of wine AFTER we finished with the tasting because the atmosphere was so peaceful. Highly recommend a visit!

Really enjoyed this winery! Very tasty wines, we loved the coyote red and Cabernet. Sheila the manager was so sweet and accommodating. Must visit winery in the Shelbyville area.

Sunny was amazing. She was overly sweet and helpful. Paul was not favorite of ours and really rubbed my fiancé the wrong way. It was a busy day but Sunny answered all questions and took her time with us.

Sheila was the best. Outdoor seating was beautiful, and the wines I tried were very good despite not being a wine drinker.

Nice winery right off I64. Good variety of wines from dry to sweet. The sweetness scale for the wines was helpful in deciding which wines to try. 6 generous tastings for $5 was a great value. Sheila was a gem , explained the wines and making recommendations.

Hard to choose a favorite because they are all so good!! Diamond was at the top of the list!!

Crimson cabernet is really good.

We visited this year, on the way home. The wine is delicious! Took home a couple of bottles, wish we would’ve bought more!!! The Merlot wasn’t on the tasting, but I bought a bottle. Just opened it, OMG, sooo good!!! Very Smokey , went well with the baby back ribs!

Stopped in on the way to Lexington. Enjoyed a tasting with Sheila. Bought 4 bottles to take with us. Very nice stop. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

I am a big Talon Winery. This was my first visit to this location though. I was very impressed with the knowledge of Kristie when it came to the wines and batches. It was a great experience and look forward to coming back to this location.

Sheila was very mean and had an attitude the second our group walked in the door. She made our group pay for extra wine tastings we had already paid for and the wine wasn’t even good!

Sheila was rude and accused our party of not paying a tab when we all had. Also the wine was not good.

Stopped in after staying in town for the Ren faire. Sheila was so kind and knowledgeable as we tried different wines. Peach sugar lips was to die for as was afterglow.

Great hidden gem. The wines are amazing and the staff is so kind. They also have a rating system on their wines to show how dry or sweet they are which I haven't seen at other places.

Great place, wine tasting was nice, we bought a few bottles. Friendly staff. Live music and they even had games for our daughter to keep her occupied while we did our tasting.

What a lovey surprise! Tastings include three wine options. My husband and I chose different wines so we could share/taste a total of six (because we are sneaky like that). And they were all GOOD. We both prefer dryer wines, and found a strong collection of dry whites and reds. Of the ones we tasted, my favorites were the Merlot and Moondance (a Pinot Gris). My husband preferred the Monarch (Cabernet Franc). With that said…ALL were nice. The staff were helpful and made the tasting experience fun. We ended up with glasses of our favorites with the tasty pimento cheese and crackers. I highly recommend you stop in for a tasting, a glass, or a bottle that you can enjoy in comfort inside or out. And pimento cheese. Because, cheese.

The sweet wines are very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, it was fun listening to the live music, and the Shelbyville location is very easy to get to off the intestate.

Talon at Shelbyville is very nice.

We discovered Talon in May of 2022 when we had family visiting from out of town and decided to join the Wine Club where once a quarter we get bottles curated by the winery and free tastings throughout the year. It is a great way to try before buying new wines. They have available tables inside and out where you can purchase and enjoy a bottle or many wines by the glass🍷. On Saturdays, there is live music from 4-7 inside when it's colder and outside when it's warmer. The staff there are very knowledgeable and helpful and there is a store to get all of your wine swag as well.

Talon is the best winery in Kentucky. They always have incredible service and amazing wines. We are proud wine club members.

Talon is one of our favorite wineries. Especially their Shelbyville location. We travel 70 miles for their wine. Sheila is so friendly and full of knowledge. We're dry wine fans and love the Equestrian Series and their Cab.

Talon Winery was a wonderful stop on our way back from Shelbyville, KY. Day two of our staycation. The location is right next to Highway 65 Shelbyville exit. On the same road is also a Bourbon Distillery. Krisite W. was the associate that helped us. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and was nice to talk with as well. Thank you for your help. The wine tasting pours were very good as well which is what also helped us to make a decision to purchase as much as we did. The building with the tastings was very quaint. They had a nice selection of trinkets, and accessories for nice gifts, a good assortment of cheese and crackers and other drinks to compliment the tastings. Thank you for a nice wine tasting experience for my Bride.
