I have been buying from Tanner's for a while and they have excellent service and product. Great selection of salmon both in variety and cuts available to retail customers. Same with crab as well, great variety. the broken crab grab bag is the best deal on crab you will ever find.

I've been buying from Tanner's for years, but their price on Alaskan spot jumbo shrimp is outrageous! $39.95 for one pound (16-20 pieces). Comes out to being $2/shrimp if you get 20. REALLY, not buying!

Brought in my catch months ago. Was 1thousand dollars for processing and shipment which was supposed to be overnight. Fish arrived 2 days later with a broken box which was flimsy to begin with and defrosted fish. Since my post, the company has made it right and refunded my cost. Thank you for your attention in this matter . on my next trip. I will fly home with the fish myself And not have to worry about FedEx.

We ordered 10 lbs of the colossal King Crab for my moms 75th birthday. Overnight package was perfect. The crab legs were huge and so sweet. Customer service answered all my questions with kindness and professionalism. We will definitely order again our next special occasion. Thank you Tanners.

We were disappointed. The Salmon had eight bones in just one piece. They said that is normal due to their flash freezing process. Why? The Halibut leaked liquid all inside the refrigerator as it thawed out because they failed to seal their bags. Seems like second rate process standards.

So fresh and so good! Literally the best fish we have ever tasted. You can taste the freshness, and quality. We live in a city not near the ocean so we don’t have access to fresh fish. The price was similar to Whole Foods, and tastes 100x better. The fish came on time, and frozen. We also ordered crab legs, and I haven’t seen a crab leg so large, and taste so good. Well worth it and plan to buy all fish from here moving forward.

I have ordered from several online seafood markets for gifts over the years. This year I ordered from Tanner's. Hands down they had the best quality and presentation of any of them. The people I sent the gift to could not get over how professional the packing was; the portion size and the quality of the seafood. GREAT JOB TANNNER'S!!!

We're so grateful to have Tanner's here in Ninilchik! They always take excellent care of the fish we've brought to them, and we've never had a single broken seal on our frozen vac-packed fish even after a year in the freezer. Perfectly portioned half-fillets as we requested. Didn't charge us extra to store our fish for a little longer than we'd planned. THE BEST. We'll absolutely continue to bring our fish to Tanner's for processing and encourage other locals and visitors to do the same!

Last year we used Tanners processing and all was fine. This year we dropped off minimal fish as they were not accepting fish some days. Both locations were an absolute cluster with long wait to FIND the fish in ninilchik. Not boxed as requested the day before. We will not use them again.

The staff at Tanner’s went above and beyond to help us out. They vacuum packed our fish in an hour because we were heading out of town. We had dropped fish off at another location of theirs the day before and they had someone bring it to the location we were nearest. Like I say, above and beyond!!

They’re the best around here if you can get to them always.

We dropped off our freshly caught sockeye salmon at Tanner's for processing and were impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the high quality processing and boxing fish for shipment or travel! Plus they have an excellent little shop inside to purchase other items and fish. I highly recommend it!

I was excited to try Tanner’s Alaskan Seafood because they claim to offer the highest quality Alaskan seafood. The ordering process was easy and the customer service was friendly. However, I was very disappointed with the seafood I received. The Alaska salmon was dry and bland, the scallops were rubbery and fishy, and the shrimp were mushy and tasteless. For the amount of money I paid, I expected much better quality and flavor. I suggest that Tanner’s Alaskan Seafood lower their prices or improve their seafood quality to match their reputation. I hope they can do better in the future.

My family has ordered from Tanner’s several times over the years. The service and seafood always exceeds our expectations. We are very thankful for them and their business!!

Our package was delayed at a Fedex facility for an extra day. Since Tanner's packaged the shipment properly, everything was still frozen when it arrived. I recommend them.

I ordered fish from them in canada never got the fish fed ex held at customs . They said they would call me back about refund never did so i lost over a thousand dollars with no fish either. You never made it clear that all responsibility is on me the customer. Basically the customer shoulders all the risk.

Awesome fish processing and packaging for the halibut and salmon I caught. They do a beautiful job fileting fish. Would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Seal was broken on 4 of 9 packages allowing air in and freezer burn to begin. When I advised them of this their response was oh well yes this happens. It happens due to carelessness.

Great service at a reasonable price. Had fish cleaned, wrapped, frozen, boxed and ready for us to pick up during the busy Sockeye season. Cost around $3.00 per pound including voluntary tip for them to process and divide our catch into three boxes at the Soldotna location.

Have been doing business with these folks for years. Betty Jean and the crew always come through for us. Been to other processors, these guys rock it and are part of our family trip.

Betty Jean and Tanners have been taking care of our fish for many years. We fish all week and they process our food and pack it in a check-in ready box for pick up on our way out to the airport. Prices are fair and the friendly service amazing.

Not only are each and every one of the staff super polite and helpful, but they are also so proficient in their work! You can expect speedy and professional packaging. I caught fish for the first time in Alaska with a friend and they simplified the process for us to bring our catch home. I'd highly recommend their services

What Wonderful Service. Betty Jean helped me out. I messaged her the night before she called me back right away the next morning. I was having trouble getting my charge card through. She placed my order for me. It was suppose to arrive February 8th, fed ex changed the date, so I called fed ex and complained, said they were paid good money for the overnight delivery. I didn't tell them Tanners paid the delivery. It came that night at 7PM. I opened the box and to my surprise, What a Beautiful Box full of Salmon. Perfect sized portions. 4 King Salmon, 4 Coho, 5 Sockeye. It's such a Wonderful Package. My husband Loved it. It was still frozen so even if it came tomorrow it would have been frozen. I searched and searched and read so many reviews and I ended coming back to Tanners. When my husband makes a dinner I will post how it tastes. I have no doubt It's Going To Be Wonderful. I want To Thank Betty Jean and The Owners for This Wonderful Wonderful Package. I ordered the package of 3 Salmon 2lbs of each of King, Coho and Sockeye. There was no shipping charges like the others had. All of the others charged $55. and up. Some were over a hundred. I just wanted to tell everyone how pleased I am. Fish processing is very good and Shipping is simple. Take them your catch, tell them where to send it, pay them, and your family and friends get to eat your fish before you get back home. What could be better.!!

They processed 62 lb of halibut fillet, vacuum sealed up, froze and boxed and ready for the airport. Prices were competitive with other businesses and they did a professional job

I recently ordered 5lbs of King Salmon tails and 3 lbs of King Crab legs (Order #95407). The King Crab legs were great. The King Salmon tails were not. But Tanner's made good on the order and sent us 4lbs of King Crab legs to make up for the mistake. We'll be ordering again... Thanks!!

5 stars for the telephone customer service. 3 stars for shipping....my order arrived a day late but it was frozen so that's a good thing. The crab legs ordered were supposed to be 1-1 1/2 lbs each. I received legs that were 3/4 with one that was just under a pound. Also ordered 2lbs of claws....frozen, I have 1 1/2 lbs. I'll be back to advise on the actual taste / quality of the seafood but am underwhelmed at the weight and delayed shipping.

Dropped off our fish filleted and portioned and these guys vac sealed and flash froze for a very reasonable price. Pickup was easy and fish was packaged and sealed well! Would highly recommend!

I placed my first Tanner’s Seafood order on Monday, 1, 2020 late afternoon and asked for Wednesday delivery 6/3. My order arrived at 10:30am on 6/3. It was package phenomenally. I opened the box and inside was a styrofoam cooler with 2 cooler packs and rock frozen seafood. As I removed my seafood it all looked so fresh and good. The Cod Loins were the best I’ve ever seen and couldn’t wait to have them (I did for diner that night) Delicious!!! Unbelievable quality!!! The sea scallops look amazing as does the Rock Fish and the smoked candied haddock. I also order lobster ravioli and king crab ravioli. I know I’ve only enjoyed one item so far but I’m a believer in Tanner’s Seafood and will be a customer forever. Everything thing you read on their website is true! They are an honest quality seafood purveyor. Thank you Tanner’s!

We received our order of King Crab legs today and , once again, the product and service were great. We have been fishing in Ninilchik every May for 18 years but can't this year due to a relative 's health. But Tanner's helps us feel much better. From the canned and vacuumed sealed varieties of smoked salmon, to their spreads and crab we couldn't be happier unless we were there to share it with our friends in Ninilchik. We have ordered twice from Tanner’s. Both times a top notch experience. I had the first order shipped to work. Tanner’s is the type of business which calls to ask “we noticed the shipping address doesn’t match the address for the payment.” Delivery was on the day scheduled and still frozen with lots of ice still hard and present, inside a styrofoam chest. The colossal crab legs were just that colossal! Along the lines of you would want to run into that crab in the ocean (that big). We ordered crab, crab dip, salmon and more. Better than anything we’ve purchased from Seattle for sure!

Relocating to Kentucky has limited my family and I of good quality seafood, especially wild caught salmon, and what better than Alaskan wild caught fish! Tanner's Fish saves the day and with their great prices and premium cuts, it is really a win win! The shipping is quick and everything comes securely packaged in an styrofoam cooler with lots of ice packs keeping the fish from thawing during it's journey to your home. I highly recommend Tanner's!

We haven't ordered from you for a couple years, but as always, the shipping was prompt and the crab legs look's great. We haven't tried them yet, but from the look's of them, they'll be just fine....

Arrived on time to Arizona. Was still frozen (in November). I made Bouillabaisse using the Halibut collars and used the scallops, shrimp, and halibut chunks the fish thawed in a couple of days in the fridge and was lovely. Looking forward to trying the salmon and remaining scallops. As the weight is post freezing keep that in mind when determining the amount to order.
