Best place in Manchester for tacos! Although it is take out only the food is authentic and delicious.

Best empanadas, birria and carne asada tacos ever. Their home made sauces are the BEST I've ever had. I buy the beer empanadas and get every sauce they have. Dipping in a different sauce after every bite is purely amazing. Love this place so much!!

This review used to be 5 stars. It’s now 1 star because they charge more for an in person or phone order than their menu prices say and than you would pay online. Tonight I called, they forgot my order, but when I showed up they didn’t want to tell me that so they made the order with the wrong sauce and it was a long wait. Local spot ruined.

My wife and I go here for our tacos fixing. When we are craving them this is the spot we go to first. They have good deals like the 5 taco plate. The tacos are the traditional street tacos with onion and cilantro, it doesn't need much else because the flavors from the meats do the rest with some lime. The empanadas are also really good. I only gave a 4 for the atmosphere because you can't eat inside but the take out is usually quick. I definitely recommend people stop by and get tacos here if you are looking for something more traditional.

Ordered food today from this restaurant and I asked the lady how many enchiladas come in an order of enchiladas and she said 3. I asked for one order of chicken enchiladas and when she repeated the order to me she told me I had one order of enchiladas. When I got home I saw that I was given 3 orders of enchiladas (they were pork, not even chicken) and charged for all of them on top of the other food I ordered. I called back and told them about the mistake and the woman on the phone was incredibly rude to me and blamed me for the mistake. I was asked to bring the other 2 orders back to the restaurant, which I did, then I was refunded but the woman was still very rude and unprofessional about the mistake. Overall, terrible experience and the food was mediocre. Would not go back.

Some friends and I were riding through Manchester. We usually stop at the Backyard BBQ (Fantastic place), but they were closed for the holiday. A quick search led us to Taqueria y Pastelitos To Go. The door was locked, but as we were leaving, someone came to let us in. As it turns out, they have been take out only since the pandemic, but have been working towards opening the dining area. They had a "soft" opening just this week, and so let us in to dine. The dining area is small but clean. The entire staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming (including the proprietor who came to check on us and told us their story). They make all of their own chips, wraps and sauces. The food was very traditional and delicious, and the menu selections were many. I wish I had thought to grab photos, but we had jumped right in before the thought occurred to me. We have added this place to our short list of eateries when passing through Manchester which we do a few times a year on various rides.

Just stopped in for 2 pastelitos and they made them in literally 5 minutes, they were the best I’ve had in Manchester in 20 years!

I am not a fan of overcharging!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been going here for a long long time, and prices have been going up, portions are small but food is good but not worth what they are charging and after my last visit i will never be going back. I typically order only and that works best for me. for some reason when i went to order today online it says i cant pickup till tomorrow so i called to see if they were open and they were so i ordered via phone, i got a taco sampler platter and pastor quesadilla and they tried to pull a fast one on me, it typically only cost less than 30 dollars and that is still expensive for the amount of food you get. they tried to charge me 36 dollars for 2 meals and after talking with them, they even had me talk to some manager on the phone and they are telling me prices that are different than what the order online menu from their site says. then all of a sudden they charge me 27 plus tax which was 29 dollars and some change. still expensive for such small dishes. This type of the beans are in a small little plastic container that is about the size if you ordered a side a blue cheese with buffalo wings and tiny scoop of rice, like 2 or 3 bites. So on the website it says its 12 dollars for a quesadilla plus 1 dollar to add meat. they were telling me its like 15 or 16 dollars. then the taco sampler is 15 dollars even though last time i ordered it was less so even at that price before tax it is 28 dollars. prepared food tax is 8.5% 28+8.5% is 30.38 and that is a lot for a taco plate(4 tiny tacos and very small portion of rice and beans) and quesadilla with the same small portion of rice and beans but lot less than 36 even. I will not be coming back here Manchester has lots of great Spanish food for a lot less. I could have fine dining for less. IDK what was going on but no one spoke English and took up a lot of my time and i have never argued about food price ever but i had to draw the line somewhere as i was getting over charged and they were holding credit card till i told them to give it back. she kept smashing my card on the counter to make noise while i showed here the online menu on there site and they were telling me its changed a long time ago, no i ordered here just the other day and that menu is how you order online and prices were accurate. if you do buy food from here, its good but service is sub par but order online only so you can see what you are paying and dont have a surprise when you pick it up.

The food is delicious the service is good. Unfortunately the atmosphere is this is, it is take out only. So it used to be you could eat in. But during the pandemic and after, they have only done takeout. No one is allowed inside the restaurant but again the food is delicious the staff is great.

I always ordered the house nachos from this place, the truth is, the first time they were brutally delicious. I ordered today and the nachos were not crispy as the Tortilla should be, obviously it was an order that someone canceled. Apart from even giving you a sauce, they bother, the nachos cost almost $20, what a disappointment.

Take out only. Can't order inside. Can't go inside either. Pictures look nice but not a real restaurant. Use your phone for their menu. Stand on the street to get your food if you are lucky.

We ordered dinner there and it was really great. We then ordered 50 empanadas for a party. Everybody loved them. They even called us when the order was ready for pickup before the party. Great takeout service and great food!! I highly recommend!

I order food from here in the Manchester location all the time when I'm home. I'm so glad they just recently opened a location in Nashua so I can enjoy their food while I'm at work too! I used to love this place but over these past few years I've noticed an up cost in food as well as a down grade in quality.. low quality low seasoned under cooked rice.. the 2 table spoons of beans and the over cooked meats.. this used to be the spot for some good food.. now it's the spot to avoid.... prices have gone up alot and the quality has dropped so low.. Definitely stop ordering from this place

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I was looking forward to trying a new Mexican place on a cozy Friday night and everything was wrong with my order. I ordered guacamole and chips (10 dollars) and I did not get the chips. I ordered the pupusas which was like a dough slop and not even a little bit of a circle shape, also not seasoned at all with no meat like I ordered. Multiple items missing and the items we did receive were sub par. Disappointed and will not be coming back. Also only got 2 dollars back for the missing items. My entire order was 50.

The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude because I had to cancel my order due to a lost debit card. I told her I was sorry but I would have to cancel my order and she responded by throwing jabs at me replying with “great, now I’m going to lose money” then just hung up the phone on me. I ultimately found my card and picked up the food but that will be the last time I eat here. Losing money is unfortunate but it’s ultimately part of a business. Providing excellent customer service should always be a priority to any business and making someone feel bad for unforeseen circumstances shouldn’t warrant the rudeness this person displayed. I encourage everyone reading this reconsider going here.

Delicious! Do yourself a favor and go to the website and order online. It’s takeout only. The restaurant is locked, and works similar to a bank drive thru teller. Authentic. Friendly face helped us with our first visit. The chicken empanadas were crispy and delicious. The 5 taco sampler was yummy and filling.

We tried the 5-taco plate, the beef empanada, the taco salad, and the pupusas. Everything was amazing!!! They were the beat tacos I've had since Mexico, the empanada was fried crispy and full of filling, the salad was huge fresh and had the loveliest zesty dressing, and the pupusas were to-die-for!!! My recent experience at “Taqueria y Pastelitos To Go” was unfortunately marred by extremely slow service and unfriendly staff. It’s with disappointment that I share my encounter with this establishment. Upon arriving, my boyfriend and I were the only customers present. Despite the lack of a crowd, we were made to wait an astonishing 55 minutes for just two chicken quesadillas. The wait time was baffling considering the emptiness of the place. The employee’s attitude only added to our frustration. Rather than apologizing for the lengthy wait, she responded with a rude demeanor, suggesting that if we were unwilling to wait, we should leave. Her comment about having numerous orders from Doordash and Uber Eats seemed to dismiss our presence entirely. Her unprofessional approach continued as she even told me to cancel the order if I didn’t want to wait. While the food ultimately tasted delicious, the experience was overshadowed by the slow service and unwelcoming atmosphere. The combination of lethargic service and rude behavior left a lasting negative impression. It’s with regret that I declare I won’t be returning to “Taqueria y Pastelitos To Go.” Additionally, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to others. The culinary delights are not worth enduring the dismal service and inhospitable staff.⬤

Delicious food! Takeout/online orders only. I ordered via door dash initially ordered the horchata, pastelillos(beef empanadas), flautas, & shrimp soup. Never received the horchata, but what was in the bag was amazing! Everything was hot, fresh and flavorful. The green salsa was my fav of the dipping sauce but honesty it was all very good. There is a language barrier so unless you are spanish speaking calling in an order wont be an option and unfortunately giving special instructions is out of the question. All that said, I will still be a loyal customer as long as the quality of the food remains at its current status.

My husband loves to order from here as it's much closer than our favorite place in Lowell. But I noticed the total is never consistent with what we ordered. This time I made sure to get a receipt. 3 cheese empanadas, 3 beef empandas and 4 beef tacos (Carlitos way) came to almost $40? The empandas were 5.75 for 3 which means the tacos were $22?! The previous time we ordered 2 sets of tacos, 3-empandas and a burrito which came to $8X.xx love there food but I don't like how they advertise a price and then charge another.

Tried this place for the first time and got the beef house nachos and they exceeded my expectations. Will be going he more often. 👍 Went there again they messed up my order on accident but they made it right and then some. Was very upset at first that had to go back but left there feeling happy that they were willing to fix it and even have me.a.ton of free empanadas. Ordered lunch today on Door Dash - was in the mood for REAL tacos...not taco bell junk...and this place popped up! I gave it a try and it was excellent! The only thing I wish they offered was salsa with the taco sampler. It needed a sauce. Other than that, it was authentic and just was I was hoping for.

The food here is el Salvadorian. I come for the pupusas which is an el salvadorian specialty that is somewhat difficult to find in New Hampshire and they are excellent. Instead of the normal tomato soup type salsa they make their own and it really adds to the meal. The cabbage has a vinegar that makes it better than the usual. They don’t have seating and are mostly geared towards online or called in orders. If you don’t speak Spanish it can be a little intimidating and I recommend you order online. the first time I went the lady didn’t speak much English but she was super friendly and happily took my order even though they were about to close. Just went again and I got someone else who was happy to explain the cuisine. Used to live in dc and crave el salvadorian food and this place is great. They have berria which is a seasoned prime rib, going to get a berria dish to go along with my usual pupusas next time. If you’ve never had a pupusa you should make this place a destination. You will forever crave them once you try them.
