Oh… my… God. I don’t know if it was because we had just arrived after a 2.5h drive or if the place was really this good, but I have to tell you, it blew my mind! The burrata and berries appetizer was just perfect, very fresh and natural, not too sweet at all. The snapper was… to die for. The Diablo sauce is out of this world! PLEASE try it. Ambiance and service were perfect, super relaxing, just what we were looking for to start our 4th of July holiday

Short rib ravioli fried was overfried. Special Chilean seabass was too fat flavorless and served only with white rice like chinese restaurant takeout. 8oz steak had no seasoning, no flavor.

Fine dining with prices to match but not quality. We got the catch of the day Chilean Sea Bass which had no flavor. The kids got the steak dinners which were not chewable. The Snapper Diablo was very good. The Floridian salad was very good. Ambiance was great and the staff were pleasant. Just disappointed in the food which was the main reason for visiting.

The food was decent but way overpriced. They weren't that busy but it took too long to get drinks and our food took way too long. After paying our bill they brought me a receipt for $30 higher than the one they originally gave me and that took too long to resolve. Not impressed.

This was our first visit after the renovation. I am sorry to say but this is not the same restaurant we came to know and love. The food was not impressive. The entree was ok for the most part but the blackened swordfish was barely warm compared to the rest of the plate. As if the swordfish was lightly warmed in the microwave. Certainly not worth the price we paid for.

Klement was such an amazing server. We came to celebrate our 15-year anniversary and were greeted with smiles from everyone. The food was absolutely superb, and the Whole Fried Snapper was seriously the best I've had since I left California.

What an amazing experience! The service was spectacular, the food was even better. I highly recommend the mussels and the Moon dancer oysters! The crispy sardines with the aioli were amazing. All the food that came out of the kitchen looked wonderful. The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable without feeling to stuffy, but the wait staff made you feel like you were the most important people there! 10/10 highly recommend!

I want to start with this: this restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations during our stay. We dined at Tanglewood the night before and it wasn’t a good experience. Sydney, manager at the time, provided such nice compensation to us for our not so good experience. We contemplated if we should eat on the property or not, and decided to still try Tarpon Bay. I was impressed. The food was fresh, delicious, full of flavor. Peggy who was our waitress gave us recommendations of her favorite dishes and they indeed were great! We had mussels, red snapper (soooo good), and salmon! Everything from the bread and olive dip to desert and to service was perfect! Restaurant was not crowded even though it was Labor Day weekend, and our experience was just what we needed for our last night here! Thank you to Sydney, Peggy, and the chef for such a pleasant dinner!

Cool restaurant with good food (most of it) and service was very attentive. I was pleasantly surprised with tapas menu - some of the portions may look small but they were filling. Our favorite tapa was the toast with goat cheese and sliced pear. Excellent combination of flavor. When I picked it up to eat it, the pears fell off on the table and I got promptly laughed at. We still agreed it was the best of our 4 tapas. I usually love Marcona almonds but this was our least favorite dish. They usually just come I believe roasted with a bit of salt and maybe oil. The grouper cheek is something new - not as good as the regular parts of grouper but worth trying. The empanadas with short rib and chimmichurri sauce were a hit as well. They validate parking too!

This restaurant managed to screw up Key Lime Pie. That is really hard to do! They serve a tasteless Key Lime Pie and smother it in raspberry sauce. Of course they charge top dollar. Sadly the Hyatt has mediocre food throughout. I just returned from a conference there where I ate pretty tasteless food. The hotel is quite nice. It would be great if they could provide food that is on a similar level.

Pretty disappointed in our experience here. 2 of our meals were not cooked right and for these type of meals- it def made it undesirable. Drinks were good and our server was friendly but after he took our orders- we only saw him once. Manager comp’d the two meals and our one round of drinks so that was nice, but def was hoping for a better experience!

We love the whole snapper ♡ every single time we go I give it a 100% on service and friendliness. The servers and other workers are always so nice and accommodating. The lobster bisque is definitely one of the best I've ever had and the restrooms are always clean. Everytime someone asks me for a great dinner I send them there. They always take such great care of us. Thank you!!

Food was great and so was the service. It is pricey and it is at a resort so if you are looking for intimate dining this is not it. Lots of families on vacation. I personally like low key but some people do not. Decor is shiplap walls, polished concrete floors very casual for the price point. Staff goes above and beyond. Fish was very fresh , portions are not huge but artfully presented. The gentleman that brought over my wife hot bread and butter told her she “ deserved it” when she thanked him. My wife thought that was the nicest thing because he was so sincere ( his name was Jean). I would recommend the shrimp cocktail, three large shrimp seasoned in old bay and homemade spicy cocktail sauce. They do offer specials with appetizers, dinner and dessert and wine flights. View is beautiful, definitely worth checking out.

During our local staycation weekend getaway at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort And Spa, we had the pleasure of dining at Tarpon Bay Seafood Restaurant. This highly rated seafood restaurant, known for its upscale dining experience with a resort casual feel, had caught our attention during a previous visit when we were unable to secure a dinner reservation. This time, we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to try it out, and we were not disappointed. As a family with two young children, we opted for an early dinner reservation at 6 pm, a time that suited our dining needs. Upon arrival, we found a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and it was evident that Tarpon Bay was a popular choice among families staying at the resort. The coastal resort-themed interior décor exuded a fun and beachy vibe, which perfectly complemented the higher-end resort ambiance. The wicker basket chandeliers added a unique touch that caught my wife's attention. The staff and servers at Tarpon Bay were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our dining experience. One notable feature of the restaurant was the open kitchen, where we could witness the skilled chefs and kitchen staff in action. Additionally, there was a large chef's table available for reservations, providing food enthusiasts with a front-row seat to the culinary artistry. Now, let's talk about the food. The offerings at Tarpon Bay were nothing short of outstanding. We started with the lobster bisque and the champagne oyster trio. The lobster bisque was a work of art, beautifully plated and presented by our server. It had a touch of caviar, which added an elegant touch when added tableside. The bisque itself was rich and flavorful, without being overly pretentious. The oysters in the champagne oyster trio were a delight to the taste buds. For our children, we ordered the grilled salmon from the kids' menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this dish. Served with rice and vegetables, it exceeded our expectations for a kids' meal. The attention to detail and high-quality ingredients used made it evident that Tarpon Bay took the same level of care in preparing the kids' dishes as they did for the adult entrees. Moving on to the main courses, my wife ordered the filet, and I opted for the scallops. Both dishes were exceptional. The filet was perfectly seared, tender, and bursting with flavor. My scallops came as a pleasant surprise with four large, perfectly seared scallops, rather than the expected three. Each scallop was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. After indulging in our savory dishes, we couldn't resist trying the desserts. Our girls enjoyed a scoop of what seemed to be house-made ice cream, which had a delightful taste. However, the true star of the evening was my dessert, the berry cobbler. It was a mind-blowing experience. Served piping hot and accompanied by a scoop of house-made ice cream, the combination of the bubbling berries and the delectable cobbler was a taste sensation unlike anything I had experienced before. It was a truly exceptional dessert and easily the best I've had in a long time. Its beauty, fragrance, and overall extraordinary flavors made it an unforgettable dining moment. Overall, our experience at Tarpon Bay Seafood Restaurant was delightful. The combination of the outstanding food, friendly service, and inviting ambiance made it a memorable evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort And Spa, and Tarpon Bay further enhanced our stay. We look forward to returning in the future to create more wonderful memories at this exceptional dining establishment.

We had the, much vaunted, Purple Haze and Grouper cheeks for appetizers. Sadly, the smoked cheeks were rubbery and the flavors of the purple haze were very subdued. My friend had the filet with gnocchi and said it was delicious and well-cooked. I had the Snapper Diablo which was also perfectly cooked and flavorful. We finished with a very satisfying apple cobbler. As far as the atmosphere goes, we stared out the window at a retention pond. No centerpieces on the tables. No complaints about the service. Everyone was very attentive.

Ordered 12 oysters and you'd think a professional chef could count but we only got 11. The whole fried snapper has shrunk to 1/3 the size it was a few years ago. The spiny lobster and pasta was overcooked, chewy like rubber, and tasted awful. The waitress also sucked. Have been coming here for many years and won't ever be back.

We had a 6:15 reservation and after more than an hour still no appetizer's finally got them and oysters were a disgrace.. waited another 40 minutes still no dinner.. we left! We have been going to the Hyatt for years!! Never never has it been this bad! So bad we will never be back! if you don't have enough help don"t fill the tables..as we walked out three other couples walked out also! Shame on you Hyatt! you were a great hotel but no more!!

Easily one of the top 5 meals we've ever had. We did not stay in the hotel, but the hotel completed a 3 million dollar renovation last year, and wow!!! Absolutely gorgeous hotel and the Tarpon Bay restaurant was beautiful as well. We sat out on the porch that faced the little lake, which provides big picture windows for the sunset and the lake looked nice with all the lit palm trees all around. We tried each of the 5 ceviche apps which was so fun and delicious served with plantain and tortilla chips. Their house champagne was great, perfect with fish and everything was phenomenal. The snapper Diablo mango sauce was spicy but the flavor was out of this world! My seared tuna was perfection. Also the mango sorbet was the perfect palate cleanser, and we got the triple chocolate dessert to go. Yumm!!! Will be going back!!

Everything about this restaurant keeps us coming back. We live in the area, so it’s not even just that we’re staying at the hotel. Our waiter tonight, Kevin, was fantastic. He’s friendly and polite and does a great job. He also makes great recommendations. We got the tropical jerk chicken, the ceviche, and two halibuts. Everything was delicious as usual. One thing that I love about this place is that they allow you to swap all of your sides for any other for no charge. The only negative is that the chicken is a bit on the small side for $35.

My wife and I had dinner at Tarpon Bay Seafood Restaurant (Hyatt Coconut Point Resort & Spa) tonight. The food was wonderful and service was very friendly. The atmosphere was sorta historic. Though we don’t know for sure? We heard it through the grapevine that a bigger and better Tarpon Bay was in the making. Because of our experience as a first time customer, we will most definitely go back!

We ate here for my 80th Birthday Dinner! What a disappointing experience! I had the Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Asked for my steak to be pink on the inside not red. Came out with the center on the rare side. Mashed potatoes very salty. Asparagus had to be cut with a steak knife. Very undercooked or burned. Our waitress was kind enough to re order my entree but with Fingerling Potatoes and asparagus. The steak more rare than before, Fingerling Potatoes under seasoned, asparagus same as before. Our waitress did comp my entree. My husband had the Chilean Seabass. Very disappointing! Go to the USS Nemo in Naples! The best. Not impressed with my chocolate dessert. Needless to say I went home hungry. The only nice touch was the man from Haiti who sang Happy Birthday to me!

This was the best dining experience of my trip to Bonita Springs. Sue went above and beyond to make my solo dinner a magical one. The shrimp ceviche is refreshing and bright but not too acidic. The sea bass is so buttery and mild, and the dessert light enough to eat too many portions. If you don't make a reservation, you can sit at the bar and watch the mixologists so their thing!

Way to expensive for the quality of the food. It wasn't bad by any means, it was quite adequate. However I'd have expected the dishes to be about half the price for what it was. Texas Roadhouse, for example, is about 30% cheaper and much higher quality. Anyway. Good place to eat if you are staying at the hotel.

Went to Tarpon Bay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cottage style ambiance was very nice and cozy. Cocktails were generous. Food and service excellent. Our server even surprised us with a lovely anniversary dessert (see pic). Very enjoyable evening.

Celebrated my birthday here. We initially were seated inside (cold) we asked to be seated outside at the water. Caylie really went above and beyond to organize a table for us outside (at the water). Amazing view & really made my day - thank you!

Excellent Dinner Service. Crab legs were great, the scallops were perfect and the diablo snapper was good however a little too much of the sauce and a little small on the filet size. dessert menu was not the best either but would good back again for sure.

I read the reviews before we went and agree it’s overpriced. We only ate here because we were getting in late from our arrival and wanted to eat somewhere convenient. My husband really liked the filet mignon, and the snapper diablo was pretty good. Food was good, but nothing memorable.

Good bread. Shrimp cocktail had an after taste. Wait staff forgot a few items. The 4 of us were disappointed. Nice ambiance though. Loved the decor and the orchids
