Driving through and stopped at Taylors retail store and bought !/2 gal. extra small. I didn`t have my glasses so I asked the kid the exp. date. He said the 6th and it was already the 17th, and claimed they would be good for another 2 weeks!!!! Not checking the tub,I brought them home on ice and the next day, opened them, and they were sitting in brown murky water, smelled ok, so I rinsed them. 3 minutes it the skillet and the were at 10% size, brown murky foam coming of them. So I took a small sample bite, Awful SOUR, pitched them and flushed the $58.00 rest of them down the toilet. 0 stars but they don`t have that option. Mike Steffen in Tacoma

Oysters were ok but they weren’t washed. We tried to have a roadside experience on our road trip, but the oysters were pretty dirty. They definitely weren’t washed. Sadly disappointed.

Good selection of very fresh shellfish. I'd give it $$ out of $$$. It is a confusing location though as the Taylor Lounge is just down the hill from the store/market.

Was sold a dozen milky oysters that should not have been available, at any time of year. If you don't have good oysters to sell, don't sell oysters. I recommend visiting Hama Hama Oyster Company instead

Best fresh oysters and razor clams around and very friendly service

This is a supermarket specializing in seafood. The seafood is fresh and reasonably priced. It is trustworthy.

A friend stopped by to grab some steamers, on the way to camping. We had never been there before so we checked it out. On the way home we stopped and grabbed a huge container of fresh oysters, some smoked oysters and smoked albacore. I fried the oysters last night and we ate the albacore on crackers as an appetizer. Everything was AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to have some more.

We were there on a Sunday morning after opening and had the best gal help us out. She was friendly and very informative. We were buying a variety for a seafood dinner that turned out spectacular. This shellfish was also fresh. All alive. Up beautifully and was just all around delicious! Would highly recommend this place to anyone

Stopped to pick up steamers. None to be had. Disappointed.

First time visiting this place. Wanted to buy scallops. They had geoduck clams, razor clams, mussels, oysters in shell, jared oysters, smoked scallops, frozen geoduck, etc. Loved our visit. Picked up a cup of fresh clam chowder. It was good.

Been going there for many years always fresh and if you have any questions about how to prepare it the staff is always willing to give you advice and if you need help cleaning your gooey duck you're going there for that they'll show you how to clean it

I must say ,some of the best oysters I have ever had. Friendly service. Usually, have a chowder or two ready to eat. Makes for a great snack or meal. Parking is easy. I must try !

Went to bellingham location a few months back was dissapointed, wore our hama hama sweatshirts and got rude looks and a thumbs down/SMH comment from one of the workers. We should be supporting each other, not bringing each other down.

Great spot for your fresh oyster takeout. If you decide to eat there, you’d have to shuck them yourself. They’ll lend you some shucking knives and towels but the oysters are pretty muddy so you’d want to rinse / brush them beforehand.

Everyone is friendly and the seafood is fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone. I don't care if Walmart or Safeway happen to be closer to your home I'd take the drive to Taylor Shelfish Farms Inc if it's within they're retail stores business hours to get go service and fresh product if I was you and wanting good seafood. It's worth the drive to go there.

Great place right off hwy 101. Terrific selection of fresh goodies 😉😁 packed up for us in a nice box with ice! Very reasonable price and awesome customer service! Will stop again when we are back in the area!

The best steamer clams and oysters in the area as far as I'm concerned. Conveniently off the 101 behind the shell gas station by the RV dealership just before Shelton exit. Super close to home. Prices seem fair. And I've never been disappointed. Except the once recently they ran out of both things we like. But you can't expect unlimited stocks of FRESH seafood , so they get a pass ! I do wish they had some sort of lobster tails , even the Maine ones. But they have a great assortment of frozen seafood and fresh clams , mussels and oysters with fair prices.

Nothing tastes better than fresh shellfish. This place not only sells shellfish, but it also sells chowder too! Their oysters were amazing!

Great little place to grab ALL kinds of seafood, from the fridge or freezer. They usually have a couple hot chowders/ soups available too.

Been here multiple times. Some fresh live shellfish at decent prices. The fish and crab cakes are frozen which is fine, quality is good. Only 3 stars is due to the fact that EVERY TIME I go to grab frozen fish the cashier turns the screen to me, stares, and EXPECTS a tip? You've done absolutely nothing other than ring my order up that I got myself? The service doesn't warrant the tip. One should not be pressured into it...
