The Friday Fish fry is great, get the walleye for a change. This place has a long history. You can read about it in the history of the small village it is located in, Germania, Wi. My wife’s uncle ran it 50 years ago. It is where all the locals go and now a destination eatery for the area seasonal population

Good is always great. Get there very early, or spend some time waiting at the bar, as this place fills right up.

The burgers are AMAZING!!!! We stopped in not knowing what to expect, and we are so glad we did. Loved the burgers, they were so juicy. We also had the cheese curds, fries, onion rings, and potato salad. It was all incredible. If we are in the area, we'll definitely be stopping by again.

It was very busy, so bring a big bag of patience with you! But the wait was worth it! The Walleye was definitely delicious! Everyone working was hustling& bustling! Love the atmosphere of the hunting trophies! I understand the history of this bar is interesting.. gotta look it up!

Perfect country bar. Only food prepared between 2 and 4:30 is pizza. I was ok with that. I let the female bartender know at 3:15 I would like to order a pizza. She ended up leaving 15 minutes later to run errands, so I ordered a pizza at 3:45 and I really felt like I was an inconvenience when Donny arrived.....perhaps the owner? He really turned the whole experience sour, complaining that he was getting ready for the rush and made me feel like I was asking too much to place that pizza order. After that, getting a drink was nearly impossible. Perhaps I didn't understand that ordering a pizza 75 minutes b4 fish fry time was inappropriate....if that is the case, then maybe offer pizzas from 2 to 3:30? The pizza was ready at 4:00. Not sure what caused the panic, but it pretty much wrecked my afternoon. It was a good pizza!

We stopped in after driving through the safari and were so glad we did! (My original plan was to stop here after a long hike on the Ice Age Trail to work up an appetite, but I wasn't going to pass up the chance to drop in while we were already in the area). I don't remember where I first heard about the Hippo Burger, but I've had this place saved to my maps for quite a while now, waiting for a chance to get to the area to try it. It was awesome, both in size and taste! The bartender was very friendly, the prices are great, and the decor was very funny (thanks for stopping in, now get out!) We sat out on the deck to enjoy the nice day, and it was just a really pleasant experience. I highly recommend stopping in here. Come really hungry or with a group if you're going to try the Hippo Burger. No Pokestops or gyms in the area. Cell service was spotty, though they do have wi-fi.

Bartender/waitress was great. Saing the cook was poor is an understatement. Kept complaining about having to bring food out to costumers, brought one in our group who asked for a grilled cheese. A cold bun with mayo and one slice of cheese. If he's there cooking, will just go somewhere else.

Best fried chicken in the area. Their Friday fish fry also ranks with the best of them. Fantastic salad bar. Friendly bar tenders and servers. Highly recommend the Long branch.

We had a family of six. The service was quick and generous with the portions for dinner meals for a great price. The fish fry friday menu is awesome. Haddock was delicious and so was the shrimp. They also had an all you can eat soup and salad bar. Also, they have a kids menu. Totally recommend this place. The whole family loved it, and we will be back.

Friday night fish fry was fabulous. It was very busy be prepared to wait a little while. .well worth it.

Went with friends for Bingo on a Thursday night. We had a great time! The staff were super friendly. We will be going again.

Great place to stop for a good ol bar burger and fries. I always wash it down with a cold frosty mug of Sprecher’s root beer, which they have on tap. Good food, reasonable prices, and always friendly service. And the place is loaded with history. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, so there are lots of scenic backroads to enjoy on the ride to and from it.

Solid place in the mid part of the state. Local favorite. Have been coming here a couple of times as we own land close to where they have their establishment. Can get busy sometimes. Have a GREAT fish fry and a pizza that is delicious. More than just an "Up North" bar and grill it has real hospitality and welcomes all through its doors.

Had a good mushroom swiss burger at a great price.

Stopped by twice now and enjoyed this "off route" stop. Good drinks, friendly service and the food looked great both times. Can't wait to go again and eat!

Really good Friday night fish fry

Nice place great food friendly, welcoming, helpful staff great service what more could you ask for.

What a great experience. In spite of being packed, our waitress was pleasant and we never wanted for anything. This was seriously the best fish fry I've ever had in my life. The fish was juicy, the breading crisp, and the broasted fries were perfect. Also came with fresh all you can eat soup and salad bar. If you go for Friday fish fry they start serving at 4:30. If you don't want to wait I would get there before 4:30. When we left at about 5:15 the bar and dining rooms were both packed and you'll be waiting for a table.

Last Friday 8/3 was my first time there and we had 8 people in our group we only had to wait a short time to be seated, wait staff was excellent as was the food, good selection on menu will definitely go back again.

You can go to the Longbranch for many reasons. I go for the atmosphere. You pull up and there are almost always a couple of ATVs parked out front. Inside locals are chatting about whatever suits their fancy and campers are imbibing or taking nourishment. The staff is friendly and competent. Food is delivered promptly and drinks are kept full. The Longbranch does rural service right.
