The three gourmet beignets option is great. I had the s’mores, king cake and the raspberry. All three were great.

We got the coffee king cake and OMG!!! So very good. Definitely make a stop in here to get your sweets! And the ladies are super friendly.

Came accross this place by coincidence, because I was visiting a friend in his business on Magazine St. Glad I found it. Loved it! Very inviting as soon as you open the door. Friendly, helpful personnel. So many baked good that all looked delicious. Made it hard to choose. I went with the Cajunnoli and the eclairs. Omg, SO good. These 2 items alone would justify another trip there (I'm about an hour and a half away). I will definitely come back and get the same items again and try some new ones.

Picked up a few goodies before leaving town. The King cake Ooey Gooey bar was sooo good.

Let me tell you about Haydel’s. Go! The turtle’s melt in your mouth and the alligator cake is more than a bite. The cake has trite layering and the icing is sooooooooo good. It melts in your mouth and has a nice dense feeling in your mouth. I will definitely make this my stop when I want some sweets. Thank you Haydel.

Very friendly staff! We were from out of town and wanted to try this place out. We got a few different things. The chocolate crossiant was sooo good, you have to try it! The lady that helped us also gave us great recommendations on spots the locals eat at, not just the tourists places which we love. You have to come and try it for yourself!

The service is always beyond good here. Parking is sparse but it’s in Magazine St so you expect it. Desserts are always fresh and good!

Found Haydels online for having sugar eggs! An Easter treat from my childhood. At bake shop staff couldn't have been lovelier. The praline gooey was delicious and oh, m-g, the almond croissant is THE BEST EVER! Filled w a light buttery custard. So good against the flaky crust and airy interior.

Wow. The smell in here is amazing and the flavors are yummmm. This is their smaller magazine street location. Make sure you try an ooey gooey, any kind will do. 😋 If you pick up a bag of trash on magazine street they will give you a free cup of coffee, gotta love that.

Cute bakery. Everything they had looked delicious. This little cake was wedding cake flavor. It was absolutely delicious. The icing was a little hard and would prefer a softer less sweet buttercream. However the cake part was perfect! This bakery is worth a visit.

Simply cannot resist stopping at Haydel's when in the area for a treat to eat & a couple to bring back home! Loved their to-go king cake slices during Mardi Gras season & wish they had them all year round!

We got the Lemon Doberge cake, petit fours and a turtle cookie. My husband loved his Turtle cookie and gobbled it up before I could get a picture. I love Doberge cake but this one I was not a fan. The artificial flavorings and cake mix taste was not what I expected. I thought these cakes were made from scratch. I didn’t even finish it. However, cake on the petit four was much better but the icing was too sweet for what I’m used to on petit fours.

Ordered a few baked goods via Uber eats and yall forgot to give the delivery driver my Kings Cake 😭 I was so excited to try it while in town! Everything I did receive was great but really bummed out yall forgot part of my order especially when I went out of my way to order delivery from yall versus a closer shop :(

Have been here several times. I love the doberge cakes and pastries. The people who work there are always cheerful and very helpful.

This is a great spot to grab some no-frills coffee if Starbucks is slammed. Their pastries, cakes, and cake pops are also excellent. There's limited outdoor seating, but it's a welcoming shop with a friendly staff.

I picked up some individual-sized baked goods. No complaints. Nice place to stop!
