We were greeted by Jenn with a smile, we were not rushed, she told us to take our time and went through the menu to explain the specials when she found out it was out first time. This place is what it says it stands for God, Family and Great BBQ. The next time we are in Conroe we will definitely be going back. Not sure what gospel radio station was playing but we loved that too. If you are in Conroe or Willis Texas, please stop by, you won't regret it.

I been to many bbq places in conroe and Willis and this is the Best by far. There ribs are my go to, they melt in your mouth. Delicious!! as well as the potato salad and chopped sandwich. If you want good food please try them you wont be sorry.

Brisket and Ribs were cooked perfectly to perfection. Fall off the bone ribs (how they are supposed to be) and lightly seasoned. Brisket was juicy and melted as you chewed, very very lightly seasoned (I prefer more seasoning on both) the beans were spicy and had good flavor , the sour cream potato salad was made delicious too. Definitely a go back to establishment. The area was clean , but small and rustic.

Go here, you wont regret it. I had seen a line outside of here one sunday and decided to try it out. Everything about this place is AMAZING 👏. We ordered ribs and potato salad. Both of them are top tier. You don't need bbq sauce because it's are bursting with flavor and perfectly juicey. The sweet tea is also perfect 👌. I definitely can't wait to try other items in the future.

I eat at Texas barbecue at least once or twice a month the barbecue is good I went there today and it was awful it was so burnt and it was sliced too thick and the meat was tough by the way I had a sliced beef sandwich it was awful it was burnt on the outside sliced way too thick and very tough I had to throw the sandwich away so there went my $8 and $2 tip down the drain

Great lunch today here! Sweet tunes playing in the dining room along with yummy brisket/sausage and the staff could not be nicer or more accommodating! My favorite was the baked potato casserole so give it a try! Definitely will be my go to BBQ place since its so close and awesome tasting!!

We just found this place and enjoyed it very much. The food we had was excellent, the people were very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. It does have a very small eating area, and it seems a lot of the orders were taken out, but we definitely will go back.

This is by far the best bbq I have ever had. I highly recommend this establishment.

What the heck?? I looked at all the pictures of beautiful barbecue from all of your reviews and I decided I really needed to try this place. So, I visited at 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday. Maybe because it was past the prime lunch time but I didn't get anything like what I saw in the pictures. Take a look at mine. Everything was dry as a bone and oddly, very small. Tiny ribs, thin brisket - as if it came from a tiny cow. I can't quite figure out how I got what you see in my pictures and what everyone else got that I've seen in theirs. It's like it's two different places. In fact, they were so dry that it would have been tough to work through them, but they were saved by liberal application of their outstanding barbecue sauce. As with other reviewers, I found little to no smoke flavor, but at least the meats were cooked properly and very tender. However, you shouldn't have to depend on the sauce to enjoy good barbecue. For the sides, the coleslaw was quite ordinary but the potato salad was excellent. It's a tiny dining room - classic barbecue shed and kind of perfect. There was no visible restroom but wet wipes are on every table. Based on the very high ratings I may have caught them on and off day or maybe just too late to get moist meats. This is clearly a neighborhood favorite and the steady stream of diners and take out orders support that. Finding good barbecue in this part of town is tough, and based on what I was served I would not return. I would drive the extra 30 minutes and hit Bar A in Montgomery. That's a whole different level.

So, I'm from Texas. For the past 25+ years, I've lived outside of Texas. Every time I came home, I only went to one BBQ place, which to date is my go-to BBQ, but it's 2/3 hours away. My sister called me & and asked to host a get-together at my house. I said okay, but I did not feel like driving to get BBQ at my go-to place. I searched local places and have eaten at several. One, I will not mention by name off I-45N in a shopping plaza is by far the worst here in Conroe. Anyhow, review isn't about them. I called Texans and spoke to Jen. Placed an order the day before and provided a time. I arrived promptly, and they had everything packed and ready. Long story short, everyone at the gathering kept asking where'd I had gotten the BBQ from, which I told them. The meats, which is all I ordered, was great! The sauce was even better. Would I eat there or order from them again? The answer is yes. It was good. Better than my go-to? Not only am I biased, the answer is no, but very close. Taste is subjective, so put that into perspective. Thank you, Jen, great food. 👍

Literally THE BEST bbq I've had in my whole life! VERY friendly VERY professional.

3 ribs with a two-meat plate? Really? Ribs were not hot and not even warm. Green beans good, potato salad good, bread good. Had to ask for more sauce. Not much comes with the ribs. Bought cokes but could only get a half cup of ice. Meat taste was average. It will fill you up. When you go, stop at McDonalds for your fries. This place ain’t got them. Prefer Spring Creek, Earlys, and Applebees for taste and value for money.

Service was good, prices were good, food was good. Brisket sandwich was huge, ribs were tender and fall off the bone.

I love ❤️ there food but they need to do something with their green beans I got some tonight in took a big bite of them in they were so spicy they made me sick I had to stop eating if they are going to keep them like this make more that don’t have it in there just put some lean bacon 🥓 in it in let them cook you don’t need grease in them because of the bacon 🥓 they do have good bbq hey I’m just saying

I tried the 3 meat plate so I could try the sausage, ribs, and brisket. All were amazing, but the ribs stole the show. The wife and I both enjoyed sharing the meal, and we had enough leftovers that we split it again for dinner. Definitely going back next time we are in the area.

One of the 5 best BBQ places I've been to in Texas. Friendly service. We got the 4 meat plate to try a little of almost everything, and it was fabulous. FYI: The baked potato casserole is served cold. We thought is was potato salad.

Served the brisket, sausage and chicken, along with beans and potato casserole for wedding. and It was absolutely awesome. So many guests kept complimenting how great it ALL was -especially the potato casserole! Meats were perfect and many came back for seconds and could not say enough about how they loved the potatoes! Thank you for making it so easy to order, delivery and providing a perfect wedding meal! It especially made a HUGE impression on the out of state guests of how great is our Texas BBQ !

A customer of mine told me about this place a year or 2 ago. I was out that way and stopped. got sliced brisket sandwich and half pound of ribs. Very good food! sandwich was great but the ribs were even better. price was under $20 for both. its a small family run place. i went through drive through. i don't think there was a dine in area but i am not .sure

All around great experience we had brisket,ribs,and sausage it was all cooked perfectly! The sides were all fresh and above average! The service and price pushed it to the top! We will be back..and back..great job 👍

Awesome food, service and atmosphere! Everything is unique and awesome. Not just regular ole BBQ place. The sliced chicken and brisket is great. Even the BBQ sauce is good and different. Everything I had was a step above anywhere else I've ever been. I usually don't like BBQ restaurants but I like this one!

Their food is amazing. Love the chicken it is so moist. Not dry at all. Their sauce is amazing. The owners are so sweet, and it's a family owned and ran company. Will go back often.

Amazing Texas BBQ! They were able to put a catering order together to feed 40 the same day! I can't even express how tasty it was!

We used Texans BBQ for my daughters wedding in early January and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Communication up to the event was excellent which helped minimize the overall stress of trying to put together a wedding in 3 months over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Chris and Jenn turned out to be just good people and really cared about making sure the catering aspect of the wedding was totally covered. We discussed the meal options and they had great insight on what goes quick and what we can pull back on to make sure the we had the right amount of food and selection. The potato casserole was a huge hit! On the day of the wedding I got to spend some time with the family who was out to help which in itself is awesome about this company. The family was happy to be out serving and even the young man there was very much involved. Overall the experience surpassed everything we hoped for and the food was top notch BBQ which is good for an area where BBQ is life. Thank you Chris and Jenn for helping make my daughters wedding day “Everything (she) hoped it would be”.

Our new place to get BBQ. Plenty of food for what you pay but would love to see French fries on the menu. Don't expect this to be a fine dining experience but a small quaint place to eat. The brisket and sausage along with the BBQ sauce are awesome.

1st time here. Not great but not bad and a little pricey. Friendly people and quick service. Ribs were fall off the bone, but had no real flavor. Sliced brisket was a little tough. All in all, a lunch place (which would explain why they close at 6)

I did not even realize this was near me until my mother stopped by one day with lunch! It was great and so I knew I had to share it with my own family. It does say on the sign they are open until 6 OR until they sell out. I went a little after 4:30 and they still had food so I got the chopped brisket and sausage plates with the pinto beans and potato salad. My 8yo LOVED his food and ate ALL of it. We both thought the meat was really good as is the potato salad. The pinto beans are also great and very flavorful as well, they have a mild spice to them which may cause severe indigestion for me later lol but everything was great. We went through the drive through and the lady at the window was really nice, she even gave the dogs a biscuit bone. I will definitely be back! Give them a try! Thanks!

The spicy chicken was very, very good. Sausage nice snap, flavored well. Brisket was good seasoned good just a bit dry. I would and will be back.

New owners. Not so good. Fatty brisket that tastes baked with no smoke at all. I hope they can do better.

Had the slice barbeque sandwich with everything ,pickles,onions, jalapenos,and sauce. The BBQ slices were thick and juicy... EXCELLENT DINING EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Pretty good Bbq place near Seven Coves lake Conroe Texas west of Willis TX. Chopped beef excellent, chicken was dry, ribs very good, sausage above average. Cole slaw not great, beans good and potato salad was different so not as expected maybe 3/5. Wanted normal potato salad. Bbw sauce above avg.

I got Two meet sandwich. Brisket and sausage. One of the best I saw in Houston area. I enjoyed the food.

I recently visited Texans BBQ for the first time. and the truth is that I did not expect its taste to be so delicious. I recommend anyone traveling on FM830 near Willis TX to enjoy this delicious Texas BBQ.

Took the family here on a saturday. We got brisket, sausage, and some sides. The kids enjoyed the food too! Brisket was excellent. Great smoke ring, tender and an fantastic cut of meat. The mild sausage was juicy and smothered in their sauce - made for a great combo. The potatoe salad was creamy with a hint of sweet to it. Friendly staff. Inside dining is small but has a good ole Texas feel to it.

Went thru drive thru today for the first time…greeted nicely and ordered - quick turn around and I was excited to get home and try it. D’ luscious!!! Fam agreed! Must try! I will be back soon!!! Might just become a weekly take out! Lol

I love little mom n pop BBQ places. But not all of them are excellent. This little place is a rare find. The ribs are fall off the bone fantastic and the ham is even next level. The spicy chicken is unique and the potato salad is the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Will be back many times!!!

The brisket and ribs are the best. And the two meat plate is enough to feed two people.

A little out of the way, but worth the trip. Sauce is just right, does not overwhelm the 'q. Sides are nothing fancy, but I would go back just for the potato salad. Yum! We shared a pound of sliced brisket, the ends were perfection, the meat melt in your mouth. We ate in, but there's a drive through. Decor is fun, especially if you like John Wayne. Did I mention I liked this place?

Take out today, the drive through was busy, a good indicator of the tastiness of the food. Our 3 meat plate include ribs(our favorite), sliced brisket and spicy chicken with baked potato casserole (served cold) and beans as our sides. The baked potato casserole is a must try.

I've always had a bad feeling this place would get eviscerated on a show like Kitchen Nightmares but you can't deny that the food is great.

*edit* Was past time for an update on my review of Texans. If you are craving excellent RIBS come here. Want some great BRISKET? Ditto. Looking for tasty sausage or smoked ham? - You know what I am going to say. Heck - chicken fanciers even rave about their chicken, but that is outside of my range of expertise. If you are desiring some expertly smoked meats you can't go wrong here. *edit* Great BBQ !! On Sat - dinning area closes at 2 - 'drive-up' window stays open until 3.

I have always wanted to stop by this little small shack on the side of the road with the open sign in the window. Finally today we did. We ordered a full rack of ribs and a half pound of the hot sausage. the owner pitched in some of the regular sausage for us to try just for free. Ribs were fall off the bone, cooked with a pretty good seasoning just about perfect. I got to talk to the owner at the window and he seemed very proud of his meat, and I must say I will be back for more! Jalapeno sausage was just like he said, course ground with jalapeno and cheese in a thin skin. very good!
