First bad meal from Tony's...what happened?

The food was as good as I remembered when I was living on that side of town. I gave the atmosphere a two because I ordered online and had my food delivered so atmosphere does not apply here. I would only say that the salad should be made more appealing and appetizing but other than that, everything else was really good. I would order from there again and hopefully everything will still remain very appealing.

Overall, this is what I look for in a pizza shop. Fast, friendly, awesome food and an overall great vibe. I had the side of meatballs, mozzarella sticks and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were delicious, mozzarella sticks were good and the pizza “delivered” lol. Just wish the sauce for the pizza and meatballs had a little more flavor but still good. They gave me a side of bread which was superb. 🙏 I will definitely make Tony’s Cafe, my go-to.

Today, my husband and I came from Washington DC and visited Recomended Tonys Cafe Pizza place for first time. We are very happy with food, service and atmosphere we experienced. We would like to thank Dara Shah, Danny and other people working in that wonderful Italian pizza place. Thanks for cannolli! B&J Regan

Wow. I'm speechless. But I'm not because this was hands down the best pizza I've ever had. We like to visit different pizza places when we travel and this place wins. The sauce was amazing and you can watch them freshly cutting tomatoes. The ingredients are fresh. They have a wide selection and the prices are great for the size. Fabulous fabulous fabulous. Oh my I didn't even touch on the service. They are incredibly nice and observant to needs. I'm ine awe of how great this place is!

I'm a transplanted New Yorker and this is the best pizza outside of NY. We're moved 35 mins north to PA and will happily drive there for dinner. If I'm shopping in DE, I plan my driving around stopping in. The staff is friendly as well.

I used Tony’s cafe for delivery for a catering order. The food was fantastic! Amazing Alfredo pastas, bruschetta, cannoli. The office raved about all of it and reasonably priced.

I love the place.Small and cozy atmosphere.Their were more take away orders than dine in.We decided to dine in,the service was good and food was great.We ordered salad and pizza.

The restaurant is more of a pick up and go style with as another reviewer said “truly snug seating” if you dine in. The staff were very nice! We had half Chicken Cacciatore Pizza and half Crab pizza, which is unusual but perfect for us. The pizza was Not the best NY style pizza we’ve had. The chicken on the pizza tasted old. The crab was good with Old Bay seasoning on top of course. Not a place I would purposely visit again for the food.

The food was amazing and so was the staff!! I ordered a personal calzone and had to take half of it home it was so much. And my boyfriend got a buffalo chicken pizza and it was huge!!Once they saw how much my girl loved cannolis they gave her some of the filling to go too! 100% recommend the food tastes great and the portions are huge. And staff is incredible.

Our school just had a very large catering order for Teacher Appreciation week. It was a huge hit! We put in the order last minute and they were able to have the very large order ready for us. We needed it at 11am and they had it fully ready to go. The food was excellent and the teachers really appreciated such a great lunch on a Monday afternoon! We’ll be catering from them in the future for other events at our school!

This place is absolutely amazing! Have gone here my whole life living right down the street and wouldn’t go anywhere else! They were so understanding when we came I five minutes before closing as were still able to whip out a whole cheese stake, pie, and more! Absolutely amazing costumer service and the most delicious food in the area! So nice to have a family run business who will always got the extra mile!

I am a regular there. I love their tomato pie.

This place is amazing! We ordered meatballs, ziti, and pasta salad for a birthday party and every single person who attended said “the food is so good! Where did you get it?” It was so easy to order from them, they were so accommodating and friendly. We will 100% continue to eat at their restaurant and order from them for catering events

Love this place and its people. The food is good, great for the price and fast. The people are awesome! The only reason not 5 stars is because it's always packed and hard to find a seat.

I lived in the area and just discovered Tony's. What a great pizza! Since I discovered I ordered pizza and had eat in lunch. You will not be disappointed.

Service was excellent. Food was OK. I've had better but I think because of the price I enjoyed it less. Soda was 2.75 my ravioli was 16.99 I suppose because I asked for blush sauce. Had to ask for bread. Server didn't think my ravioli dinner came with bread. It was on the menu.

Tony's selection of slices is great. We grab four mix and match slices for the two of us sometimes and enjoy the variety. Best slices in the Newark area.

Catered a small family party for 20 people on March 3, 2024 and the food, as always was delicious. But I almost made a huge blunder, because I did not remember that Tony's is closed on Sunday. Dhara, the wonderful young woman, who took our order, volunteered to come into work that morning to help us out. I arrived at 11 am and everything was piping hot and ready for us. Their pasta and garlic knots are to die for!! Love the chicken bacon ranch pizza as well.

We had Tony’s cater my husband’s retirement party. We had approximately 65 guests & they were all so impressed with the delicious food! I was asked over & over where it was from, so I expect many new customers!! Luigi & staff were wonderful to work with for this first time party planner! I strongly recommend them for your parties big or small! W have been regulars for years for dinner nights, but this really was a wonderful & affordable experience for us! Thanks again to everyone at Tony’s for a great job!!

Very small venue for eat in. However the food was absolutely delicious.!!! Calanari, pizza, eggplant, all yummy. Don't miss the garlic knots or bruchetta, oh my... Dine in service was very spotty that evening due to not having a regular waitstaff.

Cosy, warm, Italian restaurant!

The smells!!! Place is amazing. Big portions. Talk about REAL Italian food. Me and some of the guys I worked with go here often...sometimes take out, sometimes pick up. Typically can't finish my meal so gives me a snack later.

Their service is the worse! They were so rude to me when I tried to add something to my order. They even hung up my call… Everyone deserves respect!

Tonys makes the best New York style pizza ever!! This Christmas we added something new from Tony’s and had from their catering menu. A half a tray of Eggplant Parmesan. Not only was it amazing in flavor, but it also came with these homemade rolls that were just glorious.!! Made Christmas holiday, nice and easy because we didn’t have to Cook this year. Amazing food thank you for your service and food. You guys rock.!

Was just passing through and needed a quick bite. May be the best garlic rolls and pizza I've ever had. Large variety and sad that I couldn't try more items. Small town place..

This place has the best Tomato Pie of anyone anywhere. Pizza is also good. So are their cheesesteaks. Oh, and their onion rings too. Yum. The restaurant is quite small and has very limited seating yet, because most people get takeout, there is also usually a table available. The service is always good.

The food is great, and the service is even better. This is our favorite pizza place in a 30 minute radius.

I’ve been looking for a good mom and pop pizza place in Delaware for a year now and this place is exactly what I’ve been searching for. Our server was fabulous. The food was amazing. Pizza is on point. The sauce they used on the grandmom pizza, I could drown in it. They use good bread on their sandwiches. Tiramisu was delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

Great family friendly restaurant just order lobster ravioli ! Delicious! Had left overs and then some! Could have fed an army with food I left with !
