Owner not friendly at all, rude to every customer that walked in within the 5 minutes we were inside. Two younger people were very nice though. Sad to see and not worth getting the donuts.

We stopped here this morning on a whim! We'd never heard of village donut but thought it looked busy so probably has great donuts. We were not wrong. We almost got there too late because it was slim pickings but everything we got was delicious! I had the Boston creme and loved it!

I was a little disappointed when I brought my donuts home this morning. I was super excited to try them, given all the wonderful reviews. I purchased a dozen, and all but the 2 Honey glazed tasted like they were from a few days ago. The yeast donuts had more of a cake donut consistency, as if they hadn't risen properly.

It's a cash only place, so since I didn't know that, we didn't have anything. The food did look nice, though.

Best donuts. I always get a Jelly, deliciously fresh and abundantly filled. This owner takes pride in his Donut Shop. Worth it to stop in.

Got the chop suey which has cinnamon, raisin and nuts with a glaze fritter style. Highly recommend if you ever out this way! Keep up the amazing work guys!

I was served today by such a nice kind person! The donuts looked amazing from the rack and were even more amazing when I ate them at home. The new coconut donut was so good and really hit the spot. The donut's taste and consistently is just perfect will never get donuts anywhere else after today 10/10 !!!

I’ve been coming here for 20 years, when I say they make the best breakfast sandwich in Jersey I’m serious. I no longer live near here but if I’m ever in the area in the morning I’m stopping in. They don’t have bagels but they don’t need them. Their rolls and donuts are made fresh every morning. They’re the best and softest rolls you can find. The amount of pork roll/bacon on the sandwiches is just right. Their donuts are also really good, I’m not much of a sweets guy yet I always end up getting one. This tiny shop is the definition of a hole in the wall. I cannot recommend it enough. My only complaint I’ve ever had is they don’t take credit cards, but they do take Venmo and Zelle now so it’s not an issue for me anymore.

Stopped in after seeing a tik tok pork roll egg and cheese was amazing. Next time I'll aa for well done. Husband got donuts girl put wrong donut in bag but he didnr care said omg they good !! 15. Minutes from my house how did we not know it qas there? Good job guys!

Went here today. First time ever, The best donuts that I have eaten in a long time. They were fresh and fluffy. The filling was the right amount. Will come back.

The cheese croissant was good but the boston cream donut wasnt. One staff was rude. Wont go back there.

OMG! This is the best hidden gem around. The donuts are made fresh and they have a great selection to choose from. Bring cash or have your Venmo ready because that's how pay for deliciousness. Looking forward to hitting this place again. The Jelly is out of this world! 🍩

I just went there to get the donut this morning, I thought I go there way too early but have person in the place before us. Donut was good I’m so excited to try the fancy donut here. The old fashion Boston cream was good I really like it. Hope to go there again very SOON!

I just had the BEST breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Not being dramatic, the BEST. I’m actually taken back, I’ve had breakfast sandwiches all over new York, Pa, and NJ and this little donut shop in Jackson NJ is IT. Wow. Can’t wait to try the dozen donuts I just bought later, which I’m sure will be amazing after that breakfast sandwich. 1000/10 in quality!

Been stopping here since I was a child and we found this gem on our way to Six Flags. Recently stopped by for the glazed but stayed for some Italian sounding deal that looked like a muffin shell filled with a mix of cannoli cream and I want to say Bavarian cream, incredible. This place is a no frills, open early-close early establishment and it’s cash only but these donuts are worth it

Destination pastry! Outstanding. .. My favorite is cinnamon rolls. I love supporting a small business like this one, they work hard and are not affiliated to any type franchise. They make craft Donuts that maybe a little bit higher in price than a Duncan however have you ever heard the saying.. good food is never cheap, cheap food is never good. I appreciate this business a lot

Nestled in a tiny building on a country road setting is a delightful donut shop. The gentleman who makes them every morning is friendly and efficient as this location has customers going in and out constantly until the donuts are gone. Best Porkroll cheese sandwich as he bakes his own rolls. Oh and coffee is good too!

Passed through on a road trip. Really nice staff and some creative donuts along with classics. The glazed croissant donut was excellent. Paid 10 dollars for 4 donuts of different styles. Very worth it to me!

Wow! Always passed by this place to work so I stopped to bring donuts in. Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Will definitely be making stops here again! Just wow so good. Can’t wait to try more.

I don't get the hype, went Saturday at 8am and plenty of donuts. Too bad, bought a dozen $24 completely unsatisfied. Double Boston Creme? Seriously it wasn't even as good as a regular stale one from your local Dunkin. Donuts didn't seem fresh to us, nice quaint store if you're within 3-4 miles to support local business. Social media hype in my opinion, Obcos is better and certainly donuts at Columbus are much better. Cash only, no biggie but what's all the hype? Chocolate was weak on the chocolate glazed, the croissant was so so, the crueller tasted dry and old. Sorry, just the facts.

Cute place. The owner is present and hoping things continue well. Thanks to the reviews we got more Boston Cream than others. We were glad they had not run out. Seemed like it was tough morning for them according to their attitude. Prices weren't clear because I got a dozen and was charged not $20 as advertised, but $24, then I got 2 specialty items and was charged another $9 for these $3 items. It was our first time so nice to try it out.

Can we give 4.5 stars?? This shop is super personal, and cute. I always try to get glazed during the weekday and if I am not lucky it’s all gone. Lol All in all, the owner super cool guy, everything always tastes good. Cinnamon cake donut has a slight bitter after taste, but those who like it like it. I try to try everything at the shop if it’s available. My new switch from Dunkin.

These donuts were well worth me going out of my way from Toms River on a Saturday morning to pick them up. I love donuts and these truly are the best, worth the trip!
