Nice quaint, little restaurant. Staff is very friendly, food is nicely priced ava very good. I would recommend it today.

Delicious trattoria with a cozy vibe. Food was fantastic and the arancini were some of the best I have ever had. It’s also byob which was nice to have some wine with a great dinner.

Tonight’s dinner was so delicious! The burrata appetizer was excellent. The homemade pappardelle with lobster and a creamy sauce just melted in my mouth. For dessert the peanut butter tortufo just made my day! Thank you That’s Amore for a spectacular dinner and awesome dessert! I look forward to coming to your restaurant soon!

We went to amore for my birthday. The place came in highly rated, and it wasn't a disappointment. The did seemed authentic italian. Usual american cheese is heavy, and unlike italian, you could feel bloated after. The food here was great, and the portions were ok. The staff is very friendly and they really care.

My boyfriend and I went out to dinner here and had an amazing meal! It feels like eating at your grandma's house, the staff are so friendly, kind and attentive and the food is amazing. We had the calamari, and clams for appetizers and then got the lobster ravioli and rigatoni vodka for our entrees. Everything was fresh and delicious! We ended with espressos for our night cap and it was excellent! We will definitely try their homemade desserts next time. Looking forward to coming back!

Great experience and food at That's Amore Trattoria! I had the linguine with clams (white sauce) and was not disappointed. Nice fresh bread with olive oil. Service was very good and attentive. Simple menu with some good specials. Would go back to try more. It's BYOB/W so bring a bottle or two!

The tomato sauces tasted like the jar was left on, and it absorbed the smell of the fridge. The food was just not good!! The breaded chicken in my salad hadn't been seasoned beforehand. I specifically ordered penne with only butter because of limitations in diet for a guest in my party. They cooked it and served it with garlic. It is a lovely, quaint place but will only go back for the desserts. They had one of the best Lava cakes I've ever tasted!

My brother brought me here for the Tuesday night, 'Taste of Italy' special. Great food and great fun. Great service with the owner, Peter, stopping by to greet us. Very enjoyable!!!

We went on a Tuesday night which you have the Italian special my entry was Salmon very good but small piece with the pasta salad and a piece of cake at the end which was very good it was enough.

Had a wonderful dinner date here. Great service and delicious food. Definitely coming back. I reccomend the veal parm. House salad had a nice blend of flavorful greens. My compliments to the entire team. Note, you may consume your own alcohol. They don't have it.

Don’t expect to sit at your reservation time!! The worst place! They intentionally always overbook and then make you wait 30-45?minutes for your table!!

Favorite Italian restaurant in Morris County. Great atmosphere by owner/chef Pete and the staff, especially Frank, second to none. From appetizers to entrees to dessert they are the best around. Family owned and the pride shows.

Driven past this place for years, and always just thought it was a pizzeria or another unremarkable Italian restaurant. Finally gave it a try after a friend recommended it, and all I can say is WOW. We were there very early evening, and the chef seated us and went over the specials before our wonderful waiter Frank took over. We try rice balls everywhere we can find them, and the ones here are some of the best we have had. We had the rice ball special, served with absolutely the most delicious Alfredo sauce. The bread is baked there and it was very soft and delicious. My dining companion had the chicken and eggplant parm, it was a huge portion and the chicken was very tender. The spaghetti with shrimp and broccoli rabe was a smaller portion of pasta with 4 shrimp, swimming in a really flavorful garlicky broth. Overall this was a really great surprise, with super attentive service and super fresh food. Definitely recommended(although avoid going on Tuesday nights, they have a $50 dinner-for-two special and the place can be packed with a line out the door).

We love Italian food and have had dinner at most of the Italian restaurants in Morris County. That's Amore is "hands-down" the best Italian restaurant in the county. Period! The chef's special Rib Eye Steak, the Grilled Salmon with mushroom and roasted peppers in a wine sauce and the piping hot Linguini Pescatore are our favorites. It's also a BYO place, the prices are very reasonable and the service is super friendly, and they even try and accommodate last minute folks on Fri and Sat nights. We sometimes pop over on Tuesday nights, like we did tonight, with a bottle of wine, for their Special Antipasto Platter, Primi, Secondi, Dessert and Coffee combo for $50 per couple. You gotta love this place!!

I'm going to rate the food a 1 star based upon my entree only. Appetizers were very good and the pesto was delicious. I ordered the snapper special with muscles and clams in a garlic wine broth with shrimp. Mine must have been forgotten about in an order of 8. The shrimp was about 5 minutes cooked past it's prime. The muscles and clams were also over done. After picking out the forgotten scales on my snapper I mustered through and finished an overall very disappointing meal. Stick with the go tos and gut feeling on what you want.

We decided to stop in for dinner while staying nearby and were not expecting the exquisite experience that we had. The staff was so incredibly kind - genuinely caring that we were comfortable and well tended to. The waitress spent the time to get to know us and offer personalized recommendations. The food was to DIE for! When i say that this food was Michelin star flavor i mean it. The home made burratta was remarkably delicious. The Chef came out to every table and personally greeted everyone. He gave my 4 year old son Halloween candy at the end which made his day. Now the only problem is knowing when we can get back here to eat again! Thank you!

Very good byob nothing less than less than 4 stars the accommodated our large group of 13 and everything was very good across the board.

After being incarcerated for 17 months, not guilty. This was the first meal I had after being exonerated. It was amazing! the chicken parm was best i ever hed. Next the spaghetti with a broccoli 🥦 rabe was like Mom used to make before we put her in the psychiatric hospital 🏥 If you're hungry and you're looking for a home-cooked style meal. Look no further. That's Amore is your answer!

We were passing through the area but were lucky to find this very special gem. Authentic Italian flavors, presented beautifully in a friendly atmosphere where they treat you like family. We hope to return again!

If you can’t get into The Pasta Shop, come here. We were immediately sat. No waiting hours to eat. This place is beyond amazing . The lobster ravioli had an amazing flavor and the pasta was so soft. The chicken parmigiana was AMAZING. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The rice balls were also nice and flavorful. We topped it off with a lava cake and overall it was enjoyable. The atmosphere is great and welcoming. Everyone is super friendly. The food came timely and appropriately. Overall I’d tell everyone to come here. The food was so great, I forgot to snap a photo before eating!

There are not enough words to describe this amazing place!!! The staff is absolutely amazing!!! The attention to detail and service is impeccable… it’s a cozy family style restaurant with 5-star food. The owner Peter always comes out to say hi to us and makes sure he addresses us. That is just talking about the service the food deserve an entirely different 5 stars.. This is by far the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life! The appetizer with the fried tomatoes and burrata is melt in your mouth delicious… every entree on the menu is delicious so you can’t go wrong! I don’t have anything bad to say about this establishment and I was hesitant to leave this review because more people will find out about it and then I have to wait longer, but honestly this place deserves to get discovered because it truly a hidden gem!

Impromptu date night, this was great! Felt very welcome. Cindy was lovely and had great suggestions. Burrata app was fantastic, the artichoke pesto was a great touch. Even the side salads were a significant step up from the usual offerings at most restaurants. Cold, crisp, fresh, well proportioned ingredients and a home made dressing. The branzino and shrimp special was delicious. I'm still not sure how the lightly fried shrimp stayed crispy in that sauce. Another reviewer mentioned the Gelato as a must-try, they were not wrong. Looking forward to coming back again. What a nice surprise!

Stopped in here after a rough day while passing through. Warm, welcoming and accommodating staff!!! Pizza was delish with crust JUST the way I love it: thin, airy and crispy without being charred. Far from me but I'd definitely come back.

We stopped here on a whim on the way back from the airport. Appetizer of fried tomato topped with burrata cheese, all on top of an artichoke pesto was AMAZING. It was a special but should probably be added to their every day menu. The complimentary bread was delicious — perfect crust. My husband got the tortellini Alfredo which was great, as were his side of meatballs which definitely seemed home made. My rigatoni alla vodka was cooked perfectly Al dente. All food came out piping hot and in a timely manner. We will go out of our way to come back here! Delicious!

Some of the better clams oreganatta I have had. Pork loin special was on point. Veal saltimbocca was good too and we all enjoyed the salad dresing.

This tiny restaurant is so amazing! For being a small restaurant, they have a wide variety of dishes and pasta types. We ordered the house salad, arugula salad, spaghetti melanzane, tiramisu, and cannolli. The free bread was so soft and crispy, and the salads were delightfully fresh. The flavor of the spaghetti was garlic-y, and bright from the pleasant plum tomatoes. Even the noodles were a perfect al dente. We ended the meal with a delicious tiramisu (generously portioned) and a lovely cannolli. Neither were too sweet, and were the perfect last bites. It truly took us back to Italy. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great restaurant! We found this nugget by chance. Many places near me were booked so we decided to venture out. Luckily we found this place online and encoded to take a trip. It was so well worth it! The 4 of us enjoyed the ambiance of the place and especially the food. From appetizers to main dish. Excellent! Their tomato sauce was amazing! We had some seafood dishes and pastas dishes which were truly delish! Highly recommend!

Tried placing an order for pick up. Called 4 times. Was sent to voice-mail 3 times and hung up on the 4th. I guess the only way to try the Italian cuisine is if you dine in.
