This place is so cute and amazing! The food is to die for, I had the beef tartare, the lamb three ways, and it was outstanding! The new owners are terrific! They definitely made some great changes.

This lovely old place ain’t what it used to be. New ownership = changed menu and price increases +> both to the detriment of the fare, ambiance and service. The elegant touches of napkin rings, fine china and the like have disappeared. Service was somewhat amateurish and uneven. Finally, taste and presentation of the “signature” dishes no longer rise to the level of fine dining.

We have been dining at the Arch for decades. I am leaving an earlier post from two years ago to highlight the contrast. We visited the restaurant twice since the change of ownership and were most disappointed. Most of the staff has changed and the food preparation has declined. In our most recent visit on 6./22 we ordered the menu classic Beef Wellington. The pastry shell for Wellington was delivered unbaked for four guests creating a soft mushy texture and ruining the entree. The staff was friendly and courteous but inexperienced. Our server forget to mention the souffle must be ordered with the entire meal order due to the time for preparation. Nor did the server or anyone else return to the table to ask about the entrees. I am saddened that our old favorite standby has gone. Our old post is below We have been going to the Arch for years. A real gem. Old school traditional dining with ambience. Food and service are outstanding. You will not find a better place for that special event or just a quiet dining experience.

Excellent service, Excellent food, excellent atmosphere...had a birthday celebration and can only sum it up as Excellent!!!!! Tony was the best 👌 👍🏽 servicer we've experienced in a restaurant.

Mother's Day brunch, oh my! Paid near $1,000 for 9 of us, oh my! For what, you ask? Mediocre, lackluster food. Nothing had a flavor to speak of, unfailingly bland fare, from soup to dessert. Nice athmosphere, soft music are a welcome change from the typical, noisy meal out, but didn't compensate for blah service, an hour wait for our apps, or the waiter's scowl for returning the wrong order - not to speak of the hefty bill!

Nice spot. Giving overall 3 stars because food is OK but not great and they charge credit card fee (so be aware on a $100+ dinner bill you will pay $6 fee). Great French music on the background. Beautiful outdoor space, but can get noisy with the highway. Tried liver , which was good but not great (lacked flavor and spices and not sure onion pearls are the right compliment for the liver); lobster pasta special penne was good but not $62 good, so overpriced for what it was. Artichoke appetizer was excellent at $19 fair price. Wine options reasonable from $40 per bottle to $100+++. Desert: limited, only 3 options. Chocolate desert which was similar to chocolate mousses was really nice because it wasn’t over sweet. Cocktails the bar are excellent. Great ambiance for a quiet dinner out. It’s semi romantic because the lights are a bit too bright.

Great atmosphere. Food was undesirable for Easter brunch. Ribeye was tough. Vegetables were great. Mash potatoes great. For a 650$ tab I expected more then a 1/2" ribeye that was tough

Great all around. The beef wellingtons were cooked about a measure too hot, i.e. one ordered rare, arrived medium, another ordered medium-rare arrived medium-well, albeit delicious. Souffle and Creme Brulee were excellent.

The Arch is a wonderful restaurant for brunch and dinner. Their patio garden is lovely. Food is delicious and good selection. Amazing crab and lobster cakes.

Excellent food and old world service. One of the truly fine restaurants in the area. As a regular patron for decades, I am a bit biased but the food is prepared at a high level and the kitchen is consistently excellent. Nothing cutting edge but the soufflés are nothing short of ethereal. Comfortable and QUIET. Truly a fine dining experience.

We won’t go back there! We were treated differently from the other guests. Was weird. Never felt like that before.

My husband and I were driving through Brewster N.Y and decided to try the Arch restaurant, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting, really cute place. For appetizers we had the escargot, crab and lobster cake and lobster bisque, everything was delicious! For dinner I had the beef wellington, it was cooked to perfection! And for dessert I had the grand Marnier soufflé, The best I've EVER had! the staff was very professional and attentive the service was fantastic! I live 3hrs away and will be coming back! I highly recommend! Thank you for a great night!

This world is full of wonders. I never expected such nice restaurant outside of this small town. Staffs are so nice and foods were awesome. Definitely, will come again.

Traveled from Stratford, CT to meet family for a celebratory meal. We had brunch and shared our dishes with one another. Every dish was superb! The chef came to our table twice to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The dining area was beautifully decorated. The wait staff were professional and friendly. This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. Will definitely go back!

Food is excellent, but I soured on the place when it inexplicably started charging $4/person extra for split checks. Adds up when you go there with three or four friends, and the check is already $80-$100 for each. Ungracious and classless for an otherwise classy place. Don't know of any other restaurant in the area that does this.

What an amazing place. First of all the food is simply AMAZING and well put together. The chef is amazing. Our first visit of many to come. The chef even came out to greet us. Albeiro and his staff were awesome, professional and the food was bountiful. If you wish to have a great brunch or just a nice cozy romantic evening, this is the place. Highly recommend to all.

Delicious, fancy, authentic, high quality, everything you want in fine dining. The dishes are clever and unique, and the plates themselves are works of art. The triple berry crumble and chocolate soufflé are unbelievable. Even if your standards are high, it is guaranteed they’ll be met here!

Food is very good. I had their delicious Beef Wellington and for desert ate a tastey apple turnover. Staff is attentive and very helpful. Food is high-end quality.

The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. We ate outside on the patio. The patio was quiet and beautiful. Would recommend it. The wine selections was French and quite good. You can't see the restaurant from the road but the sign is large.

A spontaneous surprise! We dropped in without reservations for an early dinner on our way tru Brewster - the staff couldn't have been more accommodating or welcoming - SO GLAD they were able to seat us and an incredible treat! Both our meals were still simply spectacular - some of the best Escargot since we've had since being in Paris - the seared Scallops and crispy Duck Confit were absolutely perfect!!! Now looking for any excuse to return - a highly recommend - don't miss it....

We have moved permanently to NC, but will miss our favorite destination special occasion or Wednesday dining club restaurant. Been going for years, always welcoming , and the food is Old World French with modern twists. Just fabulous.

Lovely dining experience, the atmosphere is charming and the service is best. Fireplace inside is 10 stars. Dinner presentation was perfect, although the salmon and sole were probably frozen before being cooked. Will definitely be back to try brunch sometime.

Food was delicious, service excelled and staff was friendly. Outside dining was a feast for the eyes. Inside tables placed with abundant space between diners. I would highly recommend The Arch and look forward to my return.

A placid place away from m the G useless bustly of everyday. A very short distance from main roads but yet miles away in terms of peaceful and quiet.

Have been to the Arch many times over that past several years. This is an upscale, white table cloth restaurant with an intimate ambience no matter how busy. Last night had dinner with the wife to celebrate her birthday. Wife had Escargot for appetizer and Berkshire pork chop for her main course. I had the gruyere/cheddar cheese souffle and a dinner special - veal chop. The Escargot is classically prepared in garlic butter - can't go wrong - always delicious. Wife's pork chop was moist, tender, flavorful, prepared in a berry fruit sauce with complementary fresh vegetables. My appetizer souffle was light and savory. My veal chop was thick, well seasoned, cooked to perfect temp, served with a port/wine reduction and topped with sliced portabella mushrooms and crispy fried onions. I would order this chop everytime if it was on the regular menu. For dessert we shared a chocolate souffle (ordered at the time our order was taken) that was tall, warm, airy, rich and chocolaty. The souffle was presented with "Happy Birthday" inscribed on the plate in chocolate and a birthday candle. Service was attentive and responsive. Thank you to the chef/owner, our waiter, service staff and Dierdre (she oversees everything) for an awesome dinner experience!

Service of the past, more than the you expect!

Like most French places, it's pricey. However, the food is always so delicious, especially the souffles. If you want a fantastic three course meal and an elegant evening out, give it a try. (You'll likely spend ~$75/person). I'd eat here monthly if I had the money.

Definitely a really nice place. The food was excellent. I had the duck. Others in my group had steak and fish and no one seemed to have any complaints. Watch out for the entrance. At least at the moment it comes up much sooner than Waze puts it. It is a steep almost single lane road. Not a lot of parking. View from the inside is all woods.

The Arch has a great atmosphere, amazing food, and excellent service. The beef short rib special was rich and tender. The sides included crispy grated potato, green beans, and roasted cherry tomatoes. The location is open and wooded, but secluded and private at the same time. Can't wait to go back. 10/10.

Had an early business dinner here and what a great impression it made! Service was prompt, friendly and professional and the food amazing. Started with the crab cake app and went with the roast duck with mango sauce for an entree (not too crispy so the meat was perfectly moist). Amazingly the roasted side tomatoes were so sweet and accented the duck perfectly. Plan on returning when in the area - hopefully soon.

How do you improve on perfection you can't although the Arch does every time you step into this beautiful chalet. Between the attentive service and expectional food there is Only one word excellent .

Absolutely the best. Was there for dinner tonight and the food and service was perfection. The green pea soup with mint, delicious . The osso buco was the best I’ve ever had, and the white and dark chocolate crepes were divine. Don’t miss this dining experience.

The chocolate Soufflé desert is absolutely amazing. I also had the duck which was on the menu and it was delicious. It’s a slightly pricier place however, it is completely worth it.

Wonderful dinner, easy going and slow dining experience. It's a place to go enjoy a night out talking and eating food slowly. Pricey but well worth it for the food quality. Spent nearly three hours with family.

Food was nothing outstanding but used to be. Have been there numerous times. Had to send back a martini twice , worst I ever had...settled on wine and was not happy.. sad the waiter bragged about the greatness of the bartender. Waiter was very nice but spilled 3 different things ..going a bit downhill, a shame..

The staff was great!!! They were so accommodating and kind. There wasn't much on the menu that I could eat because I'm vegetarian but they were able to prepare an entree for me of a variety of vegetables that was very flavorful!

Surprisingly amazing restaurant. Feels like a little hole in the wall, but the simple setting outputs truly amazing food. The space itself is small but creates a really great atmosphere for an intimate dining experience. Brunch is fabulous, and worth every penny (as it should be noted it is a tad pricey). Nothing compares to the souffle, it is one of a kind and I highly recommend it.

My friends and I went to The Arch on Sunday and it was absolutely delightful. My friends have never been to The Arch and we were not disappointed. The staff was very helpful and charming. I had the salad with sesame-soy dressing and my friends had the Silver Queen corn soup and we all had the Beef bourguignon which was delicious. We finished off our meal with the Grand Marnier Souffle. I will look forward to my next visit.

I've been coming here years for special events. The Arch is owner/chef operated and is first class dining at its best. The menu is not large but it is robust and everything is prepared with incredible attention to detail and flavors. The ultimate display at the end is always the souffle - simply an incredible experience. Dress is typically business casual or better such as a jacket and the. Go there for a wonderful dinner or try a long, relaxed brunch on the weekend.

The only "FINE DINING " experience left in the area. Thank you to the chef & staff at The Arch for loving what you do. You do it so well.
