August 3, 2019 Smallish, store front bistro with an eclectic ambiance. Very clean, with white table clothes, napkins and quality flatware. Greeted immediately upon entry and seated at our reserved table. Menus and daily specials were promptly presented and water poured at the table. A Mediterranean Cold Plate (antipasto) and Escargot appetizers were selected along with the ravioli special of the day, halibut special, twice cooked duck, and sea scallop entrees. The antipasto was easily enough for three people, while two could split the escargot. Note that the current Open Table menu seems somewhat out of date as neither of the appetizers are listed. The raviloi special was 6 creamy, goat cheese raviolis served in a rich carbonara sauce, obviously home made. The halibut was pan fried served over a potatoe pancake and garnished with an apple / mango salad: check the menu for descriptions of the other entrees. Dessert was a warm banana bread pudding, some incredible churros with vanilla ice cream, a cappucino and an expresso. Lot of sharing at the table and not a single dish disappointed, with the halibut and sea scalllops just amazing. Service was friendly and efficient. No idea why this restaurant was only about half-full by 8PM on a Saturday evening. That said, it's not an every week visit for many people - $175 including tax for a party of five.
