The best place in Ravenswood to eat.

Although renowned for their hot dogs, I opted for the burger during my visit. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The burger was exceptionally delicious, and the fries were perfectly seasoned, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal. If you happen to find yourself in the vicinity, I highly recommend making a pit stop at this establishment.

It was second time going there and my old man's first time we got great services and we got are food really there is a great place to come

Great food, great atmosphere, great service and room enough you dont have to wait !!! Think we have found our new favorite go to for date night 😍 1/5/24 just wanted to add an update, we still love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone! Tonight we had their burger special and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've had and the beer battered fries, heaven! What are you waiting for, go try this place out!

Great burgers 🍔 and decorations

The building outside looked very old and small but the inside was huge. Very old decor but very clean and it didn't have the greasy smell you get with a combination of bar/grill. Son and daughter-in-law had burgers and spiced fries, which they loved. I had half a pizza burger and fries, the burger was very good, the fries had a taste like they had been fried with fish. It takes a bit because it is cooked fresh and the burgers were pretty thick. The waitress was a young girl who was very sweet and she was very busy. It was a little hard to get over the lip at the door in a wheelchair. This place is a hidden gem and the best we've had since moving back to WV.

Simple local diner/bar. Nothing fancy, but comfortable.

I ordered turkey club sandwich there was barely any turkey on it, it was more like a garnish sandwich it was $9.99 and you don't get any sides with it so I orderd there pickle fries which was $5.99 they were overly seasoned and overly priced for sure. never going back. not worth your money.

The staff are great but the menu needs updated prices. Great onion rings, super crispy. Hotdogs are better and cheaper than petes

I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap... It was as if Baby Jesus put his very own sacred pacifier in my mouth! It was absolutely delicious. The boyfriend got the Scooby Snack Wrap, it had jalapeno peppers on it and I have a very Caucasian pallet so it wasn't for me. But over all... Definitely recommend

Good food, waitress wasn't tentative to our drinks needing refilled but it was just her for the lunch rush.

We tried the double grilled cheese cheeseburger (1/4 pound burger in between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches) and it was amazing. It's a lot of sandwich but well worth it. The onion rings are good, too.

They over charge dont give receipts and the food wasnt that great

Could stand a live band on weekends and stay open till 2...

Fantastic place to eat, great staff, and cold beer! It’s a great place to catch a game of watch a fight. They’re all the time doing lunch & dinner specials, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, NYE parties, and comedy shows which sell out QUICK!

Food was good but the staff was arguing and they should really not do that in front of customers. Also forgot to give me back my credit card.

We just moved to Ravenswood and were told about the great dining at the Dawg Pound. It was awesome. Great atmosphere, Fantastic food, and friendly service. Just another reason to Love West Virginia

Most of the food was excellent. Dill Pickles Work good they were way too greasy and overcooked. Now the scooby wrap was amazing.

The absolute best place in ravenswood to eat. Actually one of my favorite places to eat period. Highly recommended hidden gem.

There's a bar in there, which is awesome. You can also rent a room for banquets plus they serve food. Lots of 80's nostalgia decorations and plenty of music.

Food was soggy cold and very poorly prepped

It was our first time. Our waitress was patient and friendly! So many yummy options to choose from. I can be indecisive and what I ended up choosing was delicious! Big place, dining room, bar room, pool room, and a banquet room!! Vedy enjoyable experience!

The Dawg Pound is a Ravenwood staple. Quite popular with the local (And I even saw a license plate from Florida!) this dining establishment offer a great selection of delicious meals and is staffed with friendly, smiling faces. This is a welcome environment suited for families and a bar area for adults.

Stopped at this little hole in the wall place while traveling to vacation. Staff is extremely nice and food is great!

Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean and the food was amazing. We had wings and a burger and nachos and the texas toast pulled pork sandwich,it was all great food. We will be going here at least once a week now for dinner

Restaurant & Bar both are awesome. The people are wonderful & make you feel like you've known them your whole life. The food is great! Not to mention they have the coldest beer around!

Our waitress Heather was nice and attentive. This was our first time here so we had a few questions about the menu and she patiently answered all. It was my birthday and Heather brought me a pineapple cake! Thank you!

Great Food, Great Prices and Super Friendly Staff make this one of my favorite stops when coming through Ravenswood. Burgers, Dogs, Wings, Wraps, Seafood and Salads. This place is sure to have something everyone in your party will love. Food here has always been delivered to my table quickly and piping hot. My servers have always been kind, courteous and super helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a good ol' American lunch or dinner with the fam. Oh one more thing... They have a DRIVE THRU! Looking forward to many more meals here. :-)

If you're looking for a cold beer and I do mean cold this is the place, frost on the bottle cold! Great food and wonderful service! If you're in the area definitely stop and get a cold one and a bite to eat! I didn't know the place was there until some friends suggested it and I looked it up to find it, I'm glad I did!

Stopped here for dinner. We had wraps and a burger. The food was neatly prepared and quality ingredients. Also the dining and restrooms were very clean.

The place was cool and service was good but no chili thats your staple. You should always have that its a HOTDOG place . Hamburgers and Plilly cheese steaks were pretty good so was the 🍟 . We will give it anther try though.

Super friendly staff. Dated but maintained building. Lacks "curb appeal" but don't let that deter you from trying their wings or pizza burger. Open dining room can be a bit noisy if there's a crying child. But, nice break from the road and decent food.
