My most recommended restaurant to everyone and anyone who appreciates excellent Sicilian food and service! I am not one to typically write a review, but this is our FAVORITE restaurant we have ever been to. We are originally from New York and have been surrounded by Italian food for life (having lived in Staten 'Italy' for 18 years), but nothing compares to Etna Rosso! We found Etna Rosso by accident when arriving to another local restaurant that was closed, we walked over to Etna Rosso. Luca is absolutely wonderful and takes great care of us. We introduced our family and friends to this restaurant who had just returned from Sicily, and they were in shock that the food was so comparable! I spent my birthday here last week with family, and Luca had the entire restaurant singing happy birthday to me. The olive oil, freshly made pasta, clams and Etna Rosso wine are some of our favorites, but I have never tried anything I did not love at Etna Rosso!

I started with a glass of their house Pinot Grigio, which was delicious. The server asked if I wanted bread for the table. While not warm, the bread was soft and served with room temperature butter and authentic olive oil. For my main course, I had the Tagliatelle Nduja with a meatball. This dish was phenomenal—the perfect level of spiciness and just the right amount of sauce with the pasta. Initially, I thought the meatball was too dry, but it paired perfectly with the sauce. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, ensuring I was comfortable without being overbearing. I moved to pompano recently but I’m from NY and Sicilian so I’m VERY picky about Italian food. So far this place has been great! The food is wonderful, the owner is very nice and attentive. It a small place so I would def recommend making a reservation.

The AMATRICIANA and chicken picatta were incredible! Service was awesome. Very homey feel and you can tell everything is homemade quality. High quality olive oil was served with bread and it’s the little things like that that make a difference. We will be back!

We had the pleasure of eating at The Etna Rosso and we were both very impressed. Our amazing server Antonio recommended a very good Italian wine. We ordered the grilled calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the ragu with buccatini and a meatball and my better half ordered the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce and chicken. We normally take half of our pasta dishes home as take out, but both plates were so good that we finished them then and there. We were too full to eat dessert there, but I'm a huge cannolo fan so we took one to go. I ate it several hours later and the shell was still crispy, not stale in the least, and the filling was perfectly sweetened. We'll be back and we'll bring friends!

Small intimate and inviting from the home cooked pasta to the beautiful ambience and decor takes you back to old school Italy. We enjoyed everything from the delicious Capri salad to the Bronzino special definitely is return restaurant and also a great place for a first date I recommend making a reservation, as seating is very limited, but they make it worth your while

Bad food, eggplants bowls lacks flavor, mostly filled with bread no eggplant, ragu lacks flavor, super acid, service very slow, food took 45 minutes, the only thing I liked was my merlot.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Etna Rosso the other night. Where do I start? First of all, every dish was flavorful! Even the vegan dishes were bursting with flavor. Towards the end of the night, the owner Luca sat at our table and chatted with us for about an hour! Great guy with great conversation. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be returning every time I'm in the area.

We loved this new find for us. The homemade pasta was delicious. The menu was extensive and mostly typical Italuan choices but plenty to choose from. The service was exceptional. The food was served pretty quickly and was hot. We sat outside and enjoyed it but the view is only of the street. We actually never went inside. I had the pasta with bolignaese sauce and it was perhaps the best I've ever had. Prices were typical for the area. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious and authentic home made recipes. Not your typical chain Italian food. So refreshing to come to a restaurant where the owner greets you and every person on the staff is eager to please you. What an fantastic little Italian restaurant - we were visiting the Fort Lauderdale area on vacation and decided to try this place for dinner one night. My husband and I brought our toddler, and the staff and owner were overwhelming accommodating and doting on our daughter. They offered a half portion of pasta which she absolutely loved, and frequently stopped by to make sure we were taken care of and to make our daughter giggle. The food we ordered for ourselves was spectacular - I think it was the best meatball I've ever had, and the pasta (all homemade) was delicious. We ordered dessert and wine, and overall just had such a lovely dinner here. We only wish we lived close by so we could visit more often! Don't miss out on this restaurant!!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Broward County. It was a special birthday, and the food and service was amazing! We had the Chicken Piccata and the Tagliatelle Bolagnese with Meatball. Yum! The wine was wonderful!

We had Tuscan wine, gnocchi with gorgonzola & walnut cream sauce, tagliatelle with bolognese, and a lemon marscapone cake. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend Etna Rosso. Absolutely fabulous experience we had at this lovely restaurant last night. This was the first time for all 4 of us. The atmosphere is intimate and authentic Italian with a homey Family feel. The owner/operator is very attentive and passionate about getting everything right. The wine list has a very good selection with price points for everyone. I have not seen some of these items in a menu before. So we had to go for them! Eggplant balls for appetizer!! Seriously yummy. I could had that for my meal. I hope to get these again on my return. Two of us had the most amazing ravioli stuffed lamb & pistachios. To die for! I had a fantastic veal saltimbocca . I was surprised at how thick the prosciutto was. But it turned out to be perfect. The 4th meal was a homemade spaghetti with red shrimp. The homemade seafood stock really made it special. We shall definitely return to explore the menu some more!

The Etna Rosso Ristorante is a gem of a Sicilian restaurant. The food is nicely prepared with excellent flavors. The overall atmosphere is nice and intimate as the space is not gigantic which means when full - that is most of the time - voices can be loud. They also offer some seating outside. The pasta selections are varied and even offer gluten free. The menu indicates which items will meet vegetarian or vegan diet needs. We have now been multiple times and the fine food is consistently good. Etna Rosso could become your favorite small Sicilian restorante. Quick update - We are continuing to enjoy our meals at Etna Rosso, AND sharing the experience with many friends. If you haven't added Etna Rosso to your list of favorites, you must give it a try.

It was our 1st time and everything was awesome. The bread was so fresh. The mixed green salad had wonderful flavor. Our entrees were amazing as well. You can customize most sauces as they are made to order. I wish we lived closer.
