This place is such a freaking gem!! Everything is 100% from scratch and you can seriously tell. Fantastic options for vegan and vegetarian patrons, delicious freshly prepared juices, and a fun rotating variety of beer and soft drink options. Highly recommend!! Loved the cute little coconut carvings in the entryway!

Do not hesitate even a second to get food here!! My husband and I are visiting the area and decided to get lunch here based on all the amazing reviews. This place did not miss! Everything was well balanced...the chicken was incredibly seasoned, the sides were items that we are accustomed to but flavored in unique ways that just made the whole experience so satisfying! I finished the whole thing in no time! As if really good food was not enough, my introverted husband who picked up the order came back with a smile on his face sharing how nice the owner is and what a pleasantly engaging conversation they had while finishing the order. The owner takes pride in offering good, natural food and values his customer! I'm sure this business will continue to be very successful!!

Mike was wonderful! I didn’t realize just how many vegan options were offered, and he was enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the whole menu and what he would recommend. Everything is freshly made and you can tell. It is absolutely delicious! 100/10, I highly recommend coming here! :)

The place is interesting and feels pretty Caribbean as well as a good vibe. The drinks and menu gives you a taste of the island with the right mix and choice of changing anything you want too. Will come back for more. There are things to do like axe throwing and scooter rentals near by.

Stumbled inside on a whim, almost didn’t order, was WOWED by the service (we got to try a few things) and the flavor (holy crap it was good). The coconut lime drink was out of this world. Great for gluten free options. Don’t hesitate. Just get it.

I don't know what happened to this place but I remembered it being good. Looked like food been sitting out for days. Rice was hard, plantains were some of the worst plantain I ever eaten. Like they kept boiling them to re heat them. Oxtail wasn't actually bad, but there sides I couldn't even eat

I love the vegan and vegetarian options, the price is a bit much for a veggie plate, ended up being like $14 for a veggie plate. I appreciate the healthy options. Also often there’s only 1 guy working could use more staff.

We are visiting from Washington State and this is the first restaurant that came up in a search for Caribbean. This food is crazy good with rich, deep flavors. You can taste the love for the dishes. I highly recommend for those who are visiting from the West Coast.

Wanted to try something new and enjoyed the food the coconut rice in the yard was a nice surprise in taste. The man at the counter was helpful. Interior was nice but small. My only complaint would be that the plantains were a bit stiff to my liking but overall flavor was on point.

This place is perfect if you’re looking for some yummy food that’s quick and in a casual atmosphere! I was served really quickly and I loved the food. The sauce was to die for! The person behind the counter was friendly. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. The prices were very affordable and the portion was large enough to feed you twice. I got the island umami bowl and would absolutely recommend it!

Excellent spot with tons of vegan options. I got the black beans, brown rice, plantains and Gandules. Let me say, they have some of the best black beans I’ve ever tasted! Amazing! If you’re vegan and looking for a good spot on Central, stop by.

So good. I got the Carib Beans and Rice bowl. The fluffy coconut rice and black beans were so good! I am a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me. My husband built his own bowl with the garlic lime braised beef and he said it was very delicious.

I was so happy to eat here, until I realized it was not allergy friendly at all! Selfish jerks who put nuts in almost every dish when nearly 20% of Americans have a nut allergy. Not fun for those who are also allergic to seafood like myself. I’m bummed. I hope they can start making more nut free fish free options for those who want to enjoy it here. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place: just not allergy friendly. Just saying, work on your inclusion. Almost 45% of people have some type of allergy and 20% and higher have a nut gluten or seafood allergy. Also they just wrote a review and lied 🤣.. and yea literally 90% of your bowls have nuts I’m not taking down my review! Your a horribly run family business! DO BETTER!

The rice and beans were delicious, the chicken was so tender and the plantains were perfection. That’s not including the delicious coconut lime juice to go with it. Highly recommend this place

Ok so o was a bit skeptical of Caribbean food in St. Petersburg. This spot knocks it out of the park. Every floor was spot on. Great concept of pre designed bowls/salads and then you can mix and match to creat your delivers savory meal. I would say just go, portions were on point, food was super fresh and clean.

My boyfriend and I stopped in because we read the awesome reviews. They were all right. The food was fresh and delicious. Simple and not processed. Excellent blend of flavors and gluten free. We will be back again.

I had the Yardbird bowl, and it was delicious. Every bite was super flavorful, and I ate every last bit.

My new favorite lunch spot! I stopped in on a whim and was blown away by the food, the service, the prices, the VARIETY, just about everything. Sal helped us out a ton and was super nice throughout the transaction. It was our first time and he let us sample quite a few different sauces/sides to make sure we would like it before we ordered and it's safe to say you don't even need to do that because EVERYTHING was so good. We customized a bowl with shredded beef, coconut rice, plantains, and gandules, and jerk sauce and I'd say it was a 10/10 (20/10 even)! Make sure to not miss out on the drinks either because they are fantastic as well. We ordered the mango grapefruit juice and the coconut lime ginger juice and they are both so yummy. The mango grapefruit would be good for those looking for a refreshing, lighter beverage and the coconut drink was definitely more sweet but still super tropical and tasty. I don't live close by but I'll definitely go out of my way to eat here whenever I can! (Fyi- portions are so good here, the pictures show what was left AFTER I already started eating it) ***Update: came back again for the third time in a week and SERIOUSLY guys, you can't go wrong ordering a single thing on the menu. Enjoy!

Super flavorful and delish! We loved the Umami and Yard Bird bowls + the lime ginger coconut juice. Their sauces are bomb, and I want to try them all. I like to eat vegetarian and totally would here in the future because everything is super flavorful, even the beans.

Am very disappointed, this place was reccomended to me and very highly rated. I ordered 2 fresh mex bowls, the pork was decent, flavorful but a little soggy. The black beans were undercooked. Overall it was fairly flavorful but not cooked right, not worth $28 for 2 bowls.

my first time ordering from here, i enjoyed my bowl that i made but it was my first time trying jackfruit and it’s safe to say i’ll never eat it again. i spent most of my night throwing up and in the bathroom for all the reasons. not the restaurants fault at all!! some people are allergic to jackfruit or something like that (i have read that some people have DIED from jackfruit) so if you haven’t had it before i definitely would recommend getting the braised beef! my boyfriend got that and it was delicious and he did not get sick at all.

It was around 4pm on a Tuesday. We were the ONLY ones there. Unfortunately, the food tasted like it was from lunch, or it had been rewarded a few times. I think if we had it fresh cooked it might have been really good. I honestly think we just came at a very slow, in between time. The woman serving was very nice. The vegetarian in our party said her plate was delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food for the price. Staff was friendly. Food was filling and delicious. I'll be back with friends!

Was so excited when I saw the menu, but disappointed when we saw the food: coconut rice was mushy, the black beans were more like a thick paste, the plantains were cold. The place doesn't look clean. The juices had a taste as if something rotten was in them. And to top it all off, it was expensive! The chicken was very tasty (but cold) and the quinoa and mango salad was good. Won't be recommending or coming back though. It has so much potential, but need lots of attention to detail.

We had eaten here 2 years ago and had a very good experience. Last night was just the opposite. The food was mediocre, the homemade coconut juice made my wife sick and the price for one bowl, a side of plantains, one spiked juice and one bad juice was $34.00. Way overpriced for poor quality. We had tried to order queso and chips but was told they were out of chips. Yet the person that ordered after us ordered the queso or salsa and chips and got her order.

Gosh, this place was awesome! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was chill and there was so much cool decor. I was glad they had one nice big bench to sit our party of 9. I'm in love with their coconut ginger drink. Yum!

Vegan heaven. 90% of the menu is vegan and tastes better than 100% of any food you've ever had before. Plates are usually around $12 and they're substantial.

Florribean is hands-down our favorite restaurant in St. Pete, so it was a natural choice to ask them to cater our wedding. They did a beautiful job! Our guests LOST THEIR MINDS over how amazing the food was; numerous people told us-- direct quote--- "this is the best wedding food I've ever had!" Sal and the team were right on time, and the food was perfect and delicious as usual. Some of our guests even went back the NEXT DAY to have it again before they caught their flights. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner, and/or a wedding!

Oxtail was way over cooked and oily. Tables were wobbly. Keep looking if you want authentic Caribbean food.

Food is absolutely incredible! Some of the best creole/ Caribbean food I have ever had and I've traveled well throughout central America and the west Indies, it's a very quaint/ hole in the wall place, but the grub is insane. Portions are huge too, esp for the price. Skip the snooty, upscale places in downtown St Pete and eat here! Stunning!

Never tried Caribean food until now and gotta say they got some good food! Their chicken is moist and juicy and the sauces add and exquisite flavor profile. The coconut rice compliments the chicken fantastically! I am overall pleased as to how good the food is. The drinks here are made fresh daily and taste fresh. I got to sample the three flavors they have and dang was it great. Went with that coconut for sure!
