This is a chill spot to have have a couple of drinks. There's indoor, outdoor and indoor/outdoor seating so pick whatever you like. Haven't tried any food there yet but next time maybe. It's open late compared to a lot of other places that close early on weekdays.

This place has gone down hill! I was there late last year and the food was amazing! I went back this weekend all excited, and now it seems they buy the cheapest, nastiest ingredients. It was horrible! We just stopped eating because it tasted so bad! My bill was $53 and some change, but guess what?! They pushed through a random $44 charge on my account today which is complete fraud and theft. I'm not sure who's responsible for that, but luckily I have my receipt! I'm sure they'll scramble to fix this, but tomorrow I'm raising hell!

I am very upset and disappointed in the way I was treated this past Saturday at the Garage's St. Patrick's Day party. I was at the Garage between 3-7pm and had a total of 3 drinks within that 4 hours (I was not drunk whatsoever). I got up to use the restroom at one point and started to feel dizzy. I proceeded to pass out, and when I regained consciousness, the only help I received was from a woman who did not even work there. A security team member assumed I was drunk and insisted that I leave the premises immediately. At this point, I was still very dizzy and could not walk. My friends tried to explain to him that I was sober and that this was a medical issue, but he either did not believe them or did not care. I received no help from any staff member of the Garage and was kicked out for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I tried to come back 5 hours later after I had rehydrated and eaten some food. However, the same security officer kicked me out again for no reason. He said I was not welcome back that day, which made absolutely no sense because I had never done anything wrong. The Garage was one of my favorite places to go in the Riverside area, but I will not be going back solely because of the way I was treated. I am extremely disappointed.

Some good eats, and of course the beer was fine. Odd that the bartender let someone else (in my party) sign of on the group bill (I was paying for 6) so when I went to settle up I was told someone in my group had already completed the check (with gratuity). Something like that is very concerning. It's also went collecting a customer's credit card at the start of the tab can lead to fraud... Very easily it seems.

The garage Philly cheesesteak was bomb. The chips on the side were an added bonus, but not even needed.

The Garage exists. If you have no other destination planned or need an after dinner drink near King St, their outdoor seating area is generous. Their drinks are traditionally strong. You could go there. It exists.

Fantastic bar, a favorite amongst my friend group. But the dude playing live music the past few weeks has been so garbage that we have to find a new go to spot.

We enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Had fun playing outside jinga. Fur baby friendly.

Good food and a great happy hour!

Had our dog with us and enjoyed a Cuban sandwich. The Cuban was great and the service from the bar was perfect. Phil made sure we were cared for and some extra love for our pup. He was awesome, and we loved the setup outside to allow enough space for our dog to lay comfortably. Our dog is a full-size American Pit, reference for size. We will definitely come back!

Low key bar in Riverside. Both times we've been the service was excellent. Food was good, so were the drinks.

It was a Tuesday so it was slow, but that gave me all the more reason to get better service. Drinks are overpriced but the names of the food on the menu was very interesting and quite enticing, didn't get to order food because of customer service. Looked like they cater to more of the regulars to make sure they get their money and tips secured. They don't serve cognac here.

First time going. Not really a bar going out type of person but this was a really chill spot. Shout out to the bartender Frank made me and my party really good drinks and who ever was the only person cooking. Definitely would recommend !

we all know this place as the local watering hole but don’t underestimate the food. the garage sauce slaps and the buffalo wrap is amazing.

Get the nachos. *update* yeah, still get the nachos, I recommend the chicken variety.

Garage is a great place to start or end your night in the area (plus they have the best parking) - it's a chill vibe with two sides and an outside bar as well. We use it as a jumping off point to go dancing and are never upset with our experience there. We havent tried the food so YMMV.

Stop changing things that are already perfect. The garage sauce used to be bangin. Now it's garbage. My garage Philly cheese steak used to be the best thing ever, now it's trash and my sandwich looks like it was made with 2 different types of bread. The mashed potatoes feels like it's made like the potato salad. Very hard and clumpy. Yall used to be very good the first time I tried yall. Now im just wasting 💰

Drinks are fine I guess however this is the 3rd time I’ve been here, ordered b4 my friends and got my food as they were 1/2 way into their food. I love Jillian but I will never order food here again.

I am so happy our Uber was sketch and dropped us off outside The Garage. We were looking for a cool casual pub to hang at and this place delivered! Awesome spot, outdoor area was choice. Travis Harden music was live and rocked! Atmosphere, prices, patrons, music, and staff were all top notch. We were in Jax from out of town but this would definitely be my place if I were local. 5 stars cause 10 isn't an option.

Good food, outstanding prices, and service with only 3 servers for the whole place. If I lived in the area it would be my normal hang out. If you're visiting the area it's perfect for the after concert/late night dinner and drinks.

My friends and I should have known this was not the right place from the first minute. Slow service, bad attitudes from the wait staff. We just wanted to relax and have fun. Then I was charged for food that I never received. I will never go back. I've never been treated so badly.
