Absolutely amazing food. No wait. Everything was made fresh to order. Service was very good. Got the mac and cheese empanada on a whim and it was unbelievably good. The empanada flight was a great way to try a bunch of flavors. It comfortably fed two people, but wouldn't be too much for one very hungry person. Highly recommend.

If you love unique local well-run restaurants, you should check out The Gringo. The empanadas are awesome and selection great for everyone, including vegans. A little tricky to find just south of SE 9th on 5th - easy to drive by, which I have done a couple times. We've only lived here for 2 months and it's one of our DB favs! - always great food although wish it was open Sunday. Easy eating on the beach! Great place if you like to support hard-working local owners making awesome food.

As a Puerto Rican I am very picky about empanadas, and despite these being a little more Argentinian style the dough gets my seal of approval. Furthermore, what is in them is amazing and creative. The cheese burger and chipotle chicken empanadas are amazing. Allen and CJ are cool guys and choose great tropical music!!!

Their outdoor setting is quite pleasant. They offer authentic Argentinian empanadas and empandas with a touch of "gringo". The Empanada de Messi is my all time favorite. You may also want to consider trying churros, which are a traditional dessert.

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Gringo empanada shop! The vibes and music created a fun atmosphere for a great lunch. We had the O’Ridge smoothie was absolutely refreshing. The birria and beef empanadas were delicious! This spot had the ideal blend of tasty treats, great ambiance, and fantastic music - five stars for sure!

In a town that has waayyyyy too many restaurants, thank god i found one of the few diamonds in the rough! Not only are these the best empanadas in PBC but this is some of the best food overall i have had in a loooong time in Delray Beach! Also the owner is right here cooking the food himself! I cannot recommend The Gringo enough.

The food was delicious and exactly what We expected. The only thing I would change is the options on the online ordering website. I would prefer to have more a la carte options so I can pick more options for different empanadas that are not preselected for me.

Our family loves The Gringo! The cheeseburger and cubano out my two fave and I always pair it with a fresh green smoothie! The outside patio is super cute and gives local neighborhood vibes! Would absolutely recommend!

If you’re looking to stop by and grab some empanadas and beer, than this is the place for you! Located a few blocks south of Atlantic Avenue, the gringo is a homey place to come to for some good empanadas. Food: I have tried almost all of the empanadas and have enjoyed the majority of them. They do run on the smaller side, but the quality is good. Atmosphere: They have very limited outdoor seating. There is no indoor seating. It’s great if you want to bring a pet as you can sit at the picnic tables and be unbothered. Price: The empanadas are about 4-6$ for each one depending on what you get. Parking: Parking is very limited at this location. There are three spots right up front and there is a lot of street parking further away.

Has the feel of a neighborhood empanaderia. Really enjoyed the vegan jackfruit empanadas. Filling included black beans, sweet potato and tomatoes. Lemony green salsa on the side. Had a cortado with almond milk, too.

So, so good. The birria taco was awesome and the smoothies were all delicious. Definitely check this place out.

The GRINGO is amazing! I seriously crave the chipotle and fajita empanadas. Smoothies are freaking bomb! Such a cute courtyard and good deal. Also, a great idea for groups / parties if you’re looking for something more original than boring sandwiches and wraps! Couldn’t recommend more. Go meet the guys, grab an empanada + drink deal and enjoy!

These are my favorite empanadas in South Florida bar none! I can’t believe El Gringo hasn’t been around forever - it’s a total Delray standard. If you haven’t been do yourself a favor and check ‘em out. Maybe they are so good because chef Alan Brown is from Argentina but I suspect they’re so good because he cares. Keep Delray local and eat at El Gringo! You won’t be sorry.

The empanadas are nearly unbeatable. Price is a little high for their size, but I’d say still worth it. I’m sure their location and rent in Delray is a driving factor in that. I’ve called in an order for pick-up and ordered in-person; both were smooth and as quick as fresh food will allow. The food and friendly service both earned 5 stars. Just a heads up you’re a big eater, you will likely want at least four of the empanadas.

What a very cool place with outstanding empanadas.

We went there mid day and enjoyed empanadas and pineapple soda. We tried the barria, carne and Mac and Cheese empanadas. Will definitely be back for the tasty eats. They only offer an outdoor seating option or to go. Big umbrellas to block the Sun. Walk up to the window and order.

Some of the best empanadas I’ve had my entire life as a native who’s ate empanadas from Tampa to Orlando to South Florida. As a self-proclaimed foodie I would rate 10/10. The shell is a bit different texture than traditional empanadas, but I think that is just part of what sets it apart while offering a quality empanada experience. I purchased the smaller size in Birria, Chipotle, and Truffle Mac. Birria was definitely my favorite, LOVED the dip with it, but also loved the Chipotle flavor. If you have a strong appetite I recommend purchasing the larger size, as I only purchased the smaller sizes for variety. The churros were also on point too!! Some hot caramel/drizzle would be my preference, but their accompaniments were satisfactory.

Absolutely delicious and made fresh. You can't get a better quality empanada in the area for sure. The guys at work love them. Customer service is A+ as well. I returned a few day later and the man at the counter remembered me and my order and asked how I enjoyed the food and coffee. Will definitely be retuning.

LOVED these empanadas. I was surprised to find out these are BAKED not fried, they were so flaky and crispy but I didn't feel gross after eating way too many of these lol. Expect to get two or three each to try a bunch of flavors; the birria and carne ones were so so good and I'm obsessed with the dessert empanada as well - and the kids enjoyed them too! The place had a great vibe, nice umbrellas and shade from the trees on a hot day, and a great chill soundtrack.
