Super fun place. Would go again when I'm in the area.

This has been the best food we've had on our trip. Amazing!

Hidden gem, this place is awesome. The food is excellent and the people who work here really make the experience. Highly recommend to anyone who’s out this way.

I don’t rate places I go to but this place literally is amazing. Great food, music, sports, but on the water?!? Everyone that works here is amazing and if you’re a soccer fan having a hard time finding a spot to watch your team, you’ve found it!

We were recommended to bring our fresh caught fish and have them cook it up. While they no longer had been doing that, they were nice enough to accommodate us. They cooked it how we requested, and it was amazing!! We also ordered other menu items and drinks that were top notch. The live music put the icing on the cake.

Finally found this place! After my first attempt I try to eat here and couldn’t find because I parked in wrong area… I finally had the chance to try and it was a 10/10 rating…. Cheese curds, ahi tuna sandwich and a chicken mediterranean gyro for the win! Definitely will be a retuning customer.

It’s in the heart of the action but a nice little spot with good food and live music.

We've eaten here a few times this season on the boat. Haven't had a bad meal yet. And their smoked tuna dip is outstanding.

Bussin out the seams yo. Money potato salad. Fish tacos also bussy.

My wife and I just stumbled across this place. Great food and even better service. My wife is pregnant and has some dietary restrictions and the kitchen whipped up something that tasted amazing and she could eat. 10/10 in my book.

Superb atmosphere, the team is really very helpful!! And more than anything, the food is excellent 🤩 I recommend stopping there without hesitation during a walk or to eat there in a setting near the water. See you soon on my next visit to Destin!

The food here is fantastic! Parking is easy, the people are nice and helpful, and the view of the harbor was awesome. They even let us have our dog with us. We will definitely be back!

We stopped in for an early lunch and we were greeted by one of the friendly owners who was working as the bartender. We ordered a couple cold beers, a cheeseburger with potato salad and a chicken Mediterranean bowl and they both were simply outstanding! The flavors were very delicious, not your run of the mill type, not at all. The food was hot and made with high quality ingredients. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back to try the other items on their menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We love this place. Service is good and food is excellent. For my issue. I have been told a few times not to worry about the validating parking and have never had an issue. But the last visit we were hit with an 85 dollar parking ticket. We have disputed it and messaged harbor tavern and haven't heard anything back yet. So unless it is takin care of we will not be returning here even though it was one of our go to places to eat.

Cool spot in a great location. The food was amazing....had the Calamari, Popcorn Shrimp as appetizers with the family and the Gyros and Fish Tacos as entrees. My son enjoyed his rice and chicken. Every single food item was top notch...will definely be back!

We were on vacation in Destin and ate here twice and we never eat the same place twice there were five of us both times and we had a Hardy sampling over the entire menu and everything was truly spectacular! From the tuna dip to the burger to Gyro plate to the potstickers, everything was fantastic! The absolute sleeper was the fried chicken sandwich. My nine-year-old ordered it both times and my 15 year old ordered it the second time on the recommendations of the nine-year-old. I tasted it and it was out of this world I don’t know why, but it was! Spectacular service was can’t wait to get back in there as soon as I get back to town!

Excellent food at slightly better prices than places closer to the HarborWalk. There was a talented live musician playing as well. Worth the short walk along the docks.

Have visited multiple times. I really enjoy the Blackened Mahi Mediterranean bowl and the fries here. They validate parking and it is a very short walk to Beignets & Brew which is also a plus.

Just moved here, great food and validates parking! Though if you call looking for a job they’ll just hang up on you and not answer the phone if you call back. So that tells me that the people there aren’t the greatest.

I'm a Destin local and this is my go to spot. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it's all good!! The Mediterranean bowls are one of my favorite!! Pork belly tacos yunmnn!! I love to support this small business!!

Amazing spot but waited like 30 minutes each time to get a drink. If you have artists playing there you’re gonna need more bartenders!

Got confirmation from a manager I can host a booth for an event, was told 3 hours prior to event that I can't after canceling on another event for this opportunity. Obviously communication among their staff is terrible and they offered no consultation, just told me no.

We had dinner here on our vacation. I did a little research beforehand of places with good sounding menus and high reviews in the area and wrote down this place. Great choice me! It was a little hard to find, at the bottom of a hill right on the harbor. But we sat outside and had a beautiful view. It is a very casual place. I had blackened shrimp tacos and they were fantastic! Family members very much enjoyed their gyros and falafel. I would def go back!

PHENOMENONAL. literally everything we ordered was incredible and the laid back atmosphere is great and super welcoming! service was wonderful as well. im so glad The Harbor Tavern was recommended to us on google earlier when looking for good restaurants. we will definitely be back next time we are in town. i cannot recommend this place enough!

This little place is so cute and the food was delicious!! Y’all’s blackened shrimp was the best I had the entire trip. The Mediterranean bowl was so fresh tasting. My friend got the mahi burger and said it was phenomenal. We will come back next trip for sure!

Omg the Mediterranean bowl I had was amazing. All the food was!

Customer service was awesome! James was our server at the bar and his customer service was top tier! In addition to his awesome service, Brandon and Anthony made sure we were good each time either of them passed up behind the bar. The food came quickly and it was hot. The Blueberry Hard Lemonade was really good! We also had the popcorn shrimp tacos and the Shrimp Wonton Rolls and they we good too. I didn't give the food 5 stars because they should serve the Wonton rolls with like a sweet and spicy dipping sauce or some kind of dipping sauce. The live music was cool too. I'd recommend this place

This place was such a treat. We stumbled up on this place and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp tacos were THE BEST!

Super disappointed, we were getting into Destin at 10pm and were trying to find a place that had their kitchen open late and on their website it said they had late night bites from 9pm to close. We showed up at 10:15 and their kitchen apparently closed at 10. We had to turn around and leave we were too hungry to stay. The bar looked fun but they advertised late night food that wasn’t there.

We make sure to stop here every year during our spring break visit. It was recommended to us by a local and we will be forever grateful. The location and atmosphere are fun. You can sit outside or in the back with some wind/ weather protection as needed. We’ve been there to enjoy live music on the patio. They also have tv’s if you need to catch a March Madness game. My family loves the pork belly tacos and even talks about them to friends at home. I always get their Mediterranean bowl and have never been disappointed. The Harbor Tavern is a perfect stop after a day at the beach.

Harbor Tavern is one of many restaurants located along the Harbor Walk. I had a good, but not great experience. Of note, it is a pretty loud environment. Pros: large TVs to watch March Madness basketball, decent food, average service Cons: dried out fish, mix up with the host coming to confront our table 75% through our dinner service after the bartender said to sit wherever and the server took our order and we had our food, server never checked on table to ask about the food or to ask about drinks

Slowest service, definitely understaffed. The food was very bland. It is on the water, which is nice.

A Destin staple, love this little spot. Service is relatively quick and servers are always friendly. The Korean BBQ wings are phenomenal, and the mahi mahi tacos are my go-to. Very cute outdoor eatery, I bring all my out-of-towners here.

Delicious food! Worth the wait.

I have to edit my previous good rating. We left the restaurant and was told that the parking would be taken care of, as their parking kiosk was not working "correctly" yet again (our third time eating here). This time, however, it was NOT taken care of. After several calls, and a receipt sent to them proving that we ate there that day, we ended up paying an 85 dollar ticket. This is incredibly irritating! If we are ever reimbursed for this (not holding my breath!), then I will adjust my rating accordingly. People traveling should be made aware of this bizarre setup, which is why I'm taking the time to write. If you eat here (the food IS good), make absolute certain you get a receipt that the parking is taken care of, no matter how busy they are or what they tell you.

There’s a guy playing the piano rn. I wish it was karaoke night instead. I wanted to do the thing where I sing “Love Shack” with two friends because I’m nervous with a new crew and I want them to like me. I’ll ask this guy playing the piano if I can sing with him.

This is one of the best kept local secrets on the Destin Harbor. We have never had a bad meal here. This is a great spot to pop in for just a drink or stay for the amazing food. Look forward to going back soon.

Edit: completely different experience last night from two years ago. The staff was fully trained and informed about dietary restrictions. I had the pork belly bowl and it was good. The pork belly could’ve used some spice or smoke, but it was a solid dish well prepared. I will definitely be going back!

This place has AMAZING FOOD and SERVICE. Miriam is genuinely fabulous and the cocktails from Anthony are top notch! DO NOT miss out. Seek them out and you WILL NOT be disappointed! Pork belly tacos are delicious and the bowls will satisfy ALL cravings. DO NOT pass this place up. You will be sorry if you do.

This place was AWESOME ! So many places were closed on Mondays, they were open & greeted us so friendly. Food was amazing & the view of the water was great too! Will be back 😍

Hidden gem for sure. Always love this cute spot. It's a lovely treat as a local to get out of the house during off season. It was a wonderful surprise that it was dressed for the holidays. Our food wasn't great that night. Burger was dry,but normally that's not the case.

What should be a great location somewhat missed the mark. Service was slow, while our drinks order was taken relatively quickly it still took a long time to arrive. Food was equally as slow, and a why can restaurants around here not bring the whole parties mains out at once? Some of us had been finished for 10 mins before the last main was delivered. Then the food, while tasted decent was not particularly hot- except some items (fries mainly). My Gyro had a disappointing amount of meat in it. The wifes popcorn shrimp tacos was ok too. But just fried shrimp nothing special. Was fairly expensive for a mediocre meal to be fair. Shame as they have such a good location.

So so good! Great location, whether your getting on a boat or just want somewhere yummy to eat! They were able to accommodate a party of 14 very easily (we are here during off season) and everything was delicious!

They have really dialed in this place. The food truck may be the best in Destin. Bartenders are always fast to make eye contact and friendly. Rare find!

First place we went to on our journey to Destin, really good food, well worth the trip.

Had lunch on a cloudy Friday. Hummus plate and shrimp wonton. Both delish. Asks for a dirty martini but they had no olives, changed to a cosmo and got a nice buzz after the first one so of course I had a second one. Hubby likes beer and he was happy. Our server was beautiful and efficient. We're locals and it's our first time here and we will be back!

Great Korean bbq wings, make sure we plan a stop every time we are in town. Their fries are always nice and fresh as well. The rum runner makes a complimentary drink that brings the meal together ❤️

We came here as a family and absolutely loved the food! Kids ordered boneless wings and loved them! Mahi tacos were amazing and so was the ‘Southern’ burger! Great food, service and environment!

Finally got to try out The Harbor Tavern. I had had some food from here that was catered to a wedding and it was phenomenal a few years ago so I was excited to finally experience it in person. I got the bowl w/ blackened mahi mahi, wow 🤤. My bf got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich with fries. Fish was great of course, but those fries though, delicious. As my bf said “these are the best fries I’ve ever had!”. I agree, perfectly crispy on outside and so flavorful. Can’t wait to go back when I’m in town next. Oh and how could I forget.. that tuna dip, you gotta get it!! It was so yummy especially with the seasoned pita chips they were served with 😋 They’re also nice enough to validate your parking so no need to pay those outrageous harbor parking prices, just the cherry on top 🍒

Arrived in Destin at 9pm, looking for a good local bar to unwind after traveling and found The Harbor Tavern. Miriam the bar tender was super friendly and found a beer that i liked.

The drinks and fish tacos were delicious! Very laid-back atmosphere for drinks and food on the harbor. We were also able to watch the fireworks from our table!

Limited menu but we’ve tried several things on it & they’ve all been good & reasonably priced for a waterfront location. Visited twice in the past week while on vacation. Service is always good and friendly. A bonus is they’re located at the end of the Harborwalk & they have free parking in front & behind the place that’s good for up to 24 hours. So you can eat & drink there & then visit the harbor for awhile without paying $10 to park at the Harborwalk parking lot

Nice Gem we found while coming to the end of our trip. Very affordable delicious food. I had the pork belly BLT, nice texture and flavor on it. My wife had the pork belly tacos and they were really good. My kiddos 4 and 3, loved the fries at this place. They were well seasoned! Overall one of the better places we ate at during our trip to Destin.
