We had my daughter’s bridal shower in the Library room and it was just beautiful. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. It was a lovely experience.

The Johnston House is a lovely place to host your event. Everything was perfect for my sisters shower and the staff was extremely attentive and always available to answer any questions. Thank you again for the beautiful day.

My daughter’s bridal shower was here yesterday and it was beautiful. I had three extra people come and the staff was courteous and gracious. We did not have seating assignments and that was a mistake. If we had put place cards on the tables, it would have been easier.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Thank you!

Incredible tea service with great tea selection. Everything from the scones to the chicken salad croissants to the chocolate mousse cups was delicious. The setting was perfect.

This is one of my favorite things to do locally! If I could have high tea every day, I would! Service is wonderful, tea is amazing and the atmosphere is so special.

I hosted a bridal shower for my future daughter-in-law at The Johnston House. The venue was beautiful and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Ryan went above-and-beyond to confirm each guest had everything they needed. He even provided last minute menu options to a guest who unexpectedly had food allergies. The future bride was overjoyed and several guests commented on how wonderful the event was. I was very pleased!

What a gem! Venue is gorgeous, food was delicious, and a great variety of hot and cold teas. Life doesn’t get more relaxing or civilized than tea with good friends!

Hosted a baby shower here in June 2024. From touring the venue, signing the contract to communicating Terri- all were fantastic experiences. The shower venue was beautiful, the food & drinks were delicious. The servers were kind and helpful. What a nice time we had! Thank you to The Johnston House.

The Johnston House is a perfect venue for a bridal shower. The food was absolutely delicious and it is such a beautiful venue. The staff does a wonderful job coordinating everything, making it very easy for the host.

I have been visiting the Johnston House for years! It’s makes for a lovely afternoon. The specialty items on the trays are wonderful and the tea is delicious. The surroundings are impeccably beautiful as well. Go get pampered!

I didn't have to worry about a thing. The room was beautiful and the staff was very attentive during the event. Prior to the day, the staff was responsive and helpful in planning my event. I definitely recommend hosting your event at The Johnston House.

We celebrated my daughter's bridal shower at The Johnston House on April 14, 2024. We wanted a full service venue that did not require a great deal of additional décor. This was a perfect choice for us. We had less than 25 guests and selected "The Library room" as our room. It is a stunning space, light and cheery with a fire place and well-appointed furnishings for gifts, favors, etc... From arrival to departure, the staff helped every step of the way. We were offered help to carry in supplies, given suggestions for set-up and they whisked away the storage boxes from sight, which was great. The food and tea is so good and very filling. I noticed several guests using the complimentary to-go containers to take home some items. We even brought individually contained cupcakes because we thought guests may be too full for cake- we were right.

We held my daughter’s baby shower at the Johnston House. Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Terri was extremely helpful as well as all of the other employees. I would not hesitate to have my next function here. The guests had nothing but praise for the Johnston House.

My baby shower at The Johnston House was absolutely fantastic! From the stunning venue to the delectable food and the welcoming staff, everything surpassed my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for any private event – it's truly exceptional!

We went for afternoon tea, and we received Walmart brand tea bags as their "premium tea selection". The food was mediocre, except for the cucumber sandwiches which were quite nice. For the price we paid, it's a shame you can't get a second servings of the sweets. But, the decor was very elegant

This was our second experience at the Johnston House and it was again, incredible! We had a different room for each event and they were equally as beautiful. Nikki and the staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The professional manner in which every person that we dealt with should be commended. The elegance of the food and atmosphere are amazing. Thank you for creating such a beautiful memory for both of our daughters. Truly a "Tea Party" dream. Looking forward to our next event!! 3 years ago I had my bridal shower at the Johnston Tea House so when I was thinking of where to have my baby shower, it was a no-brainer! I couldn’t wait to go back and re-live all the magic that this place evokes. The staff is absolutely wonderful and Terri (Event Coordinator) is very accommodating and easy to work with. I was impressed by her organization and flexibility and making small tweaks just even in the days leading up to the event. It was also nice to be able to communicate via text for quick/prompt responses. She also provides a timed itinerary to help you stay on track which os very helpful. The service staff is absolutely wonderful. Despite it being a larger event, there is never a sense of panic or distress noted in the staff members as they are confident in their ability to host large events without a hitch. The larger dining room is decorated absolutely beautiful and is so timeless. It allows for great picture backdrops without having to spend money on decorations that would just end up in the landfil thereafter. The food is absolutely amazing and much more filling than one thinks! I always hope for a few leftovers, lol. Many of my guest have reached out saying how much they enjoyed coming back and have enjoyed their time at both of my showers, a few even stating that they would like to book their own afternoons teas with their own girlfriends. Overall, always very impressed by the Johnston House! Highly recommend!

The bridal shower we hosted couldn't have been any better. The attention and care that the staff members provided was exceptional. The food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Ryan was awesome and so was Terri. They were extremely professional and responsive. They couldn't have been more accommodating. We received so many compliments from our guests that it was the best bridal shower they had ever attended. I was very proud of our choice of venue when I heard the wonderful feedback we received. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

We had the most wonderful baby shower with The Johnston House on December 10. The teahouse was beautifully decorated for Christmas (which the mama-to-be loved!) In addition, the entire staff was thoughtful, the food was amazing, the tea was perfect, and my daughter enjoyed every moment. Just about a month after the shower, Katherine and Sean had a beautiful baby girl, Charlotte Grace. Thank you all for making our day absolutely perfect!🩷

I had my daughter's baby shower at the Johnson house. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was gorgeous, still decorated from the holidays. I loved working with the staff, very accommodating and kind. It was a beautiful amazing experience. I recommend the Johnson house for any special event.

I co-hosted a baby shower for my daughter in law and it was truly incredible. Our event coordinator was easy to work with and took care of even last minute adjustments with ease. Our waiter’s knowledge and experience was flawless. And the food! Ah the food. I will be dreaming of the scones and quiche for many nights to come. Thank you Johnston House, everyone in attendance gushed that it was the best baby shower ever. And it was.

We were very dissapointed in having tea at this tea house. I thought the tea house itself was beautiful, but that was the only good thing I can say. I was sadly disappointed to be given individual tea bags for high tea. I had expected to have a specialty loose leaf tea for high tea and not a brand of tea (Stash) I can buy in the grocery store. Part of the experience of tea sevice is to do and experience what we couldn't do at home (loose leaf tea, tea strainers, sugar cubes instead of sugar packets, service in unique tea pots and tea cups). The food was subpar also. The crusts for the quiche and tartlets tasted store bought instead of home made. We actually didn't eat the finger sandwiches because of the flavor profile. For a business that only takes reservations and no walk-in business, the service was no better than what you would experience in a diner. It felt rushed and short handed. The place was was more than half empty. I had no problem prepaying in full with the understanding on no refunds, but I had high expectations for this tea house. We will go back to the Tearoom on Main in Saxonburg and not return to this teahouse again.

Their afternoon Tea is so wonderful. Such great Service and the food was delicious. I went to their Christmas Tea and it was so lovely. I will definitely be going back again.

The shower for my future daughter-in-law was absolutely perfect! The staff assigned to assisting with my event were attentive, kind, professional, helpful & meticulous. It was so nice to be able to focus on my guests & the flow of my plans during the shower without any distractions. This is my second shower at the Johnston house and I will definitely be coming back. It was fabulous!

Friend took me here for my birthday. It was such a wonderful time trying different food with different tea. The atmosphere is very quaint. I highly recommend.

I highly highly recommend The Johnston House! I cannot say enough good things about everyone there. We held my bridal tea there and it was the best experience. From the start, everything went so smoothly. Nikki was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly in getting me all the information I needed to book. Terri was so thorough and friendly when working with her around the details of the day. The day of, Ryan was amazing in covering all the details both before all the guests arrived and with the guests throughout the day. He was extremely prompt with serving the food, refilling drinks, and responding to anything we asked for. He had a wonderful way of interacting with everyone and was so personable. All of the food was spectacular and the space is absolutely beautiful. I cannot thank everyone at The Johnston House enough. If you are considering having an event here, I highly recommend you do.

I went there for my friends daughters baby shower and it was very nice. It was decorated beautiful and the lady helping with drinks at each table was very helpful to me since I was late. My friend brought cookies she baked and they were set up front and the display was very nice....all was excellent and I would recommend this place to others.

Beautiful, Festive location especially this time of year around the holidays. Every employee goes out of their way to serve you And insure you are having the best time. Our tea service party of 7 Included one person with a severe nut allergy and one with a gluten restriction. Both were catered to individually and assured of safety precautions at multiple steps. Highly recommend going For a unique setting and experience.

BEAUTIFUL! ELEGANT! this was my first "true" tea party experience for a bridal shower and it was AMAZING. The room and venue was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. I got options for what felt like over 30+ teas with my own individual water pot. I also got served delicious tiered tray of tea food such as scones, finger sandwiches, quiche, and mini desserts. Everything was delicious. I cant wait to come again to try more teas out and get another unique experience.

Some family members and I had an afternoon tea here and it was delightful! I would suggest having sugar cubes instead of just packets as that would have elevated the experience, especially for my young daughters.

I gave 3 stars because the couple of times I could get a reservation it was great. Twice I called, spoke to someone who said they would call back and never have. I'll just go somewhere else.

The atmosphere is amazing, especially at Christmas time!

We had my bridal shower here in May of 2021, and it was so lovely. I loved how beautiful the entire venue was (and the fact that I didn’t have to decorate anything!), and how relaxed the atmosphere is here. We were able to come in an hour before our event to set up, and they were incredibly accommodating when we asked to rearrange a little bit and when we requested food for our guests with dietary restrictions (vegan and gluten-free).

It was absolutely beautiful! The service was fantastic, the food was excellent, and the general atmosphere was very pleasant. Would recommend!

I have been to the Johnston house many times in the past and it’s always sheer perfection every time I visit. From the warm smile upon entry, to the enchanting service and the wonderful tea and faire that is laid out for you. The entire experience from top to bottom is simply excellent. If you are looking for a beautiful backdrop for a special celebration or just want to do something a bit fancy for yourself and some friends. I cannot recommend the Johnston House enough.

Beautiful setting, easy to get to location. Lovely for family visits or just the girls. Service was a lacking in attention as we were not greeted for some time, but when the server arrived they were pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The food was spectacular, quality ingredients, fresh, and creative. The tea is only in sachets but there is quite a variety. The gift shop was adorable and they many gift ideas as well as gift certificates. Pleasant enough to look forward to going back.

Loved it and I do not like tea! The raspberry hibiscus iced tea was delicious! The food was wonderful. The chicken sald was very tasty and the scones and clotted cream and jam were a treat. The deserts were pretty and tastyOur server was very friendly giving us a history of the place. Beautifully decorated. I can't wait to go back again soon. I definitely would recommend this place.

My and a few friends have a holiday tea party yearly. I love this place! Will continue to go yearly. Their staff is nice! They are accommodating and friendly! The food that they serve is really fantastic and different.

This place is a gem. We go every year for Christmas which is so nice and they have hosted bridal showers for us. You can even ask for glutenfree at their high tea and you get just as many options as anyone!

This is our favorite place to go for all kinds of special occasions. The food is wonderful and it is so beautifully decorated. The Christmas shop is so special this time of year. We just love it.
