Stopped in on a whim and man was that the right idea! Best coffee I’ve ever had and it’s not close!

There bakery items and empanadas are so good and always fresh the service is always friendly coffee is always good never disappoints

Love the coffee, tea, and the customer service. Just wish there were more vegan/ vegetarian options with the food. If they add vegan/ vegetarian options I will update my review to 6 stars

The burritos and bagels are incredible. Cannot believe I have lived in Tampa this long and never tried this place. The only thing is the shop is small with not much seating, but I understand and respect why that is.

Ordered cafe con leche (not on menu) and is was perfect and placed in black ripple paper cup shielding hands from delicious heated beverage within.

I come here just to see if I can run into Jason.

This is my go-to coffee shop. Not only do I love the coffee, but the service is unmatched. They also have the best breakfast ....especially the bagel sandwich and the breakfast burrito.

Been here a couple times now and it gives a very grab and go vibe. Not much parking and the inside is quite small so a bit difficult to hang out for a "coffee date." Throw alllllll that away as any reason to not try this place because if you care about coffee, you need to try The Lab. Their flavor syrups are made in house so they actually taste like the flavor you are wanting. My wife got a lavender latte and I got a dirty chai. Both were the best we've had. PERIOD. Nothing needed to be added, nothing needed to be changed. Every time we've been, you can smell the delicious food they have for what feels like blocks. I want to try something to eat every time but haven't had a chance yet. If it's anything like their coffee, I may never leave. Send help.

Great dessert chai. Breakfast empanadas are elite if you get there early enough to grab one. Overflow parking behind All YAll Yoga if you need it

In the past I've pointed to the other The Lab location as being one of the best coffee shops in the United States. I remain steadfast on that stance, but felt the need to extend that same praise to this location. I've always admired The Lab for what has to be an obsessive dedication to quality. Every time I order the foods or beverages, they are prepared to the same exacting delicious detail. Their menu is limited because they won't make what they can't make great. Opening a second location is an exceptionally big risk for a small restaurant business, in large part due to the challenge of extending quality standards across two locations when one owner or subject matter expert can obviously only be in one place at a time. Somehow, The Lab is doing it, and doing it marvelously. Jalapeno bagel sandwich is undefeated, and the dirty chai is still the best in the country. Simply put, The Lab, in this or presumably any location they open, cannot be beat.

Such a gem in the Heights. The staff is always friendly, the food is amazing, and the drinks are fabulous. It’s the best coffee shop in the area by far. The inside is small, so expect to just get in and get out. It’s worth it.

Very little sitting space so dont expect to sit here for extended periods but the food and coffee are great! Coffee is fresh roasted in Downtown Tampa and ground to order.

This is quite possibly the Very Best Bfast Burrito Evah: several very chill local artisans/craft shop owners recommended this place to me: it was worth the 4mi walk. I WALKED FOUR MILES FOR THIS BURRITO, No Regrets! I'm told the make the flour tortilla, the full-o-flavor green salsa was also homemade: details matter. Paired w/ a lavender flavored cold brew, you're set to rock the block... It's very small, so larger parties would get take-out or go to the West Tampa Lab?

Don't let the bare bones aesthetic fool you. The drinks are consistently good, and the food is surprisingly excellent. Bagels are the real deal, breakfast sandwich is tasty, and even the breakfast burrito is solid. Great local spot.

These guys are expert coffeeticians. The quad cappuccino was strong and roasty but still smooth and silky. The latte with condensed milk was sweet but still roasty. And their empanadas are delicious!

You are better off going to the other location! Definitely not as refined as the original shop yet. Maybe give it a year or something.

Awesome little coffee shop. The drinks are full of flavour and not too sweet like at most places. The steak and egg empanada was fantastic as was the orange-cranberry scone! Price was a little higher than most but the quality and service made up for it.

Master Killer tier coffee shop. Best service, best cold brew, best bagels. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and or coworker.

A friend was in town and wanted a cool vibe coffee house. I don’t drink coffee so she found this one on a local search. We couldn’t find parking at first so we drove around the block and found one spot. This was 10 am on a Wednesday. Inside there was one person ahead of us but the person at the counter was chatting with the customer so had to wait several minutes to give our order. There is very little seating and the tables are not stable so be careful with hot drinks. Several others showed up so it was an atmosphere like the DMV. We decided to take the drinks home. My friend said the drinks were very good but no relaxing cool coffee house vibe.

It's a really nice coffee shop close to my yoga studio and I love coming here to continue my zen. It's busy but not overwhelmingly if you sit inside. The bagels are great - freshly made and perfectly toasted in my opinion. The coffee is fresh and tasty. The service is really efficient and friendly for a Sunday morning. Don't skip on this!

Stopped in for a coffee and bagel and came away with one of the best commuter breakfasts I've had in a very long while. Great quality, high value, will return!

Ok so it took me a while to try, because I miss Blind Tiger and was butt hurt. But I was missing out. Had the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Terrific, nice crispy bagel(I’m picky about that!) sorry for it being half eaten in the photo, I was hungry. Lol

Not what I expected. The area looked a little rough. The inside needed more decor as it was plain and needed more seating but it was small on the inside. But overall coffee and breakfast sandwich was good.

Really solid little coffee shop. Excellent coffee and the best bagels I’ve had in Tampa (I’m from Brooklyn so I know my bagels….). Not much seating, closes early, but a decent, if basic, vibe overall. Lots of nice people, a fairly eclectic crowd (it’s SH, so, yeah), come in here to chat with. At first I thought the guys were a little unfriendly but now I realize they’re actually really nice, I think just kind of quiet. They have enough space to add some comfortable seating, and I think that would make this a perfect neighborhood coffee and bagels spot. It’s already close.

Got the bagel breakfast sandwich so sriracha Mayo but cream cheese on the side and cold brew with oat milk and vanilla, was fire! So far one of the best breakfasts bagel sandwiches I’ve had in a while!

(But seriously get a bagel when you go, you’ll see what I mean) The coffee blows my mind, i have to stop myself from inhaling it immediately. Sometimes I buy two for myself 🙃 Keep doing what you’re doing LAB bc I absolutely love this place.

I live walking distance to here and finally tried it for the first time last week. Been back 4 times since. Jalapeño cheddar bagel is absolutely addicting, coffee is tasty, and service is fast and friendly.

Amazing service! Thank you Samantha, she was the sweetest! The quesadilla was Poppin & the breakfast burrito was perfectly with cheese and chicken. The guys in the back really threw it down creating these masterpieces…. Which is why there are no pictures 😅 Lavender iced latte with vanilla is by far my new favorite coffee. Best coffee around and they make their caramel in house 🏡

I love the tea and the alternative milk options! I really wish they had more vegan food. All I can eat is a plain bagel. 😵‍💫 It would be nice if I could get breakfast or lunch here. Please consider your vegan (or health conscious) customers. ❤️

When I pass, I want to be baked into a Lab jalapeño cheddar bagel so I can spend my time in the afterlife among the things I loved the most. I’m going to tell my grandkids that when orcas tried their coffee and bagels, it solved our war with the ocean. I love this place and I’m so happy it’s in seminole heights now

My picky wife loved a latte and was throughly impressed. Very good bagels outside of New York City.

This is the second location we have visited. Both locations were friendly and the coffee and food was delicious. Staff is great and love the fresh made bagels. Only recommendation is to take a couple parking spots and make a area with some tables and umbrellas to stay awhile. The longer people stay the more they buy..
