This is a legitimate cocktail bar. Their house drinks look amazing, but feel free to order off the menu as well. The Boulevardier I ordered was incredible with the homemade Campari and Sweet Vermouth! The waitress even asked if I wanted rye or bourbon. ( try the bourbon) This place is perfect for a nightcap!

The food was great, fantastic oysters specifically, and very well made drinks. Finally a martini that was stirred! Great staff and really cool decor

Wow, the best bar in Ogunquit! We came to OGT for the 4th of July and ended our day there. We went into the theatre where they had a really cool bar up top (plus the BEST mixologists) and played movies while blasting great music. Perfect place with the best service - everyone’s so friendly and welcoming. Add this to your list!

My husband and I popped in just to check out the old theater our way out of Ogunquit last night and wound up staying to listen to a wonderful jazz trio while The Terror (Jack Nicholson's worst performance, ever, but also a movie we own) played in the background. It was a perfect end to a truly lovely day on our first visit to Maine.

A “must stop” when passing through or staying in Ogunquit. The espresso martinis never disappoint!

Enjoyed the entertaining show! Staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks had a different twist and were Divine. The first time I have been there and was not disappointed. Look forward to trying more food and beverage options the next time I go.

Friendly staff. Great venue to see shows and live music. I didn't get food but it looked good and the kitchen is open late.

OMG, the Grilled cheese is to die for!! So was the HotDog fried in duck fat until they stopped selling it recently. That new Ciabatta sandwich was good!!! The cold asparagus salad was DELICIOUS!!! Didn't like the bitter tasting Caesar Salad but the silent movies and staff were great. Such a good time!!!!

On Thursday 8/10 We had gone to a so called taco restaurant that had a very long wait and I had asked the hostess who was very kind if there was any other place that might not be so busy and she recommended the Leavitt Theater. This was also a place that my son had looked up prior in regard to going and checking the place out because they have shows and movies. So we went there we sat outside at a table and we were greeted by someone we thought was a waiter, but it ended up being the owner, and he was extremely nice and very helpful. After he gave us advice and took our drink order we were greeted by a waiter. He was very very nice and helpful as well. Menu was small yet that is a good thing because it’s easier to choose. Food was delicious. It started raining and the owner and waiter immediately moved us under the archway. Would also like to compliment the counter woman. She was always smiling and gladly sold my son some candy. Great experience. Unique Restaurant/Bar/Comedy Club/Theater all rolled into one.

I popped in to check out the Leavitt after catching a show at the Ogunquit Playhouse and the combination of the aesthetic vibe of the old school movie house with the quality of the drinks was enough to leave me very impressed. I asked on a whim if they could make me an Espresso Martini and they delivered me (to my surprise and delight) a beautifully crafted Espresso Martini complete with Boozy Whipped Cream Foam topping. Fantastic! Can't wait to go back.

This is a magical theatre, bringing you back in time while allowing you to enjoy wonderful movies. We've been coming to OGT for 30+ years and always try to see a movie at the Leavitt. The updates made by the current owner, Max, make it even more magical. Well done!

we went for the first time by chance ,a band was bringing in their equipment so we struck up a conversation with them. Next thing I know I am walking in with them a guitar amp in my hands. the staff was excellent as was the theatre . Two bars one upstairs and one down stairs with a good selection and reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back.

Historic silent movie theater of Ogunquit. OMG, the smash burger! Top five best burgers I've ever had, hmm, maybe top three. Phenomenal food, location, atmosphere, historical significance. A shout out to MAX - My wife, friends and I had a lovely evening. Thank you for putting in the work, the effort of maintaining such a unique experience. We'll be back in May!

My wife and I were excited to go to the Leavitt and have a delicious meal. They did not disappoint! Food was fantastic! Well seasoned and balanced. The cocktails were excellent as well. We were able to sit out front and enjoy the world going by. I highly recommend!

I love the Leavitt theater! It is a cultural cornerstone of Ogunquit Maine...a melting pot of creative and artistic expression. Enjoy free movies while dining inside the theater or catch one of their amazing shows with so many fun things throughout the week, All Summer Long and on the shoulder seasons late spring early fall. A group of us just spent four days at this theatre for an event, and they were absolutely wonderful. We had a HUGE group, and everyone was so kind and accommodating. There is typical theater seating, and also box-type seating, and couches in the back so that anyone of any size/ability/disability has a comfortable place to enjoy the shows. We especially loved the bar service right to our seats, and the food was absolutely delicious. What a gem! I've been to Ogunquit a dozen times and didn't even know about this place, and now I'll make sure to come back for a show!

We got to enjoy the theater thanks to a weekend event held there. It is such a beautiful place! We loved the atmosphere and how awesome everyone was there! We got a shirt and sweater we will be rocking in support of them back at home!!!

I attended an event here this past weekend and thought both the venue and staff were phenomenal. They were helpful, kind, and the snack counter staff were always so friendly. I adored the fact they used actual butter, and I loved I could hop across the hall for an adult drink to go with it. The hot spiked cider was a whole experience! Despite the crowd, everything was always super clean, and the theater just had so much charm. MANY thanks to our hosts, you're the best! ❤️

Highly recommend this spot for a fun night, a bite out, music, cocktails... this place has it all! We were in Ogunquit for 3 nights.... and we ended up there 3 times :) Absolutely loved the dueling pianos!

This is one of the coolest establishments in town. I love the history of the theatre itself, and the restaurant is fantastic. Best steamed mussels I've ever had.

Very nice old school theater. The drinks were delicious and all the staff was super friendly and professional. The bathrooms and entire facility was clean. I really liked the design of the seating areas with the bar in the upper corner. Plenty of seats and tables for people to enjoy. We saw Lady Luck Burlesque and enjoyed the show. You can tell the performers really enjoyed what they were doing.

We just moved to town and saw the Burlesque show. Were so excited to see more here!

This place is fantastic. I initially came for the music, and I'm glad I did—Dan's a legend. I can't wait to check out more on their events' calendar, because it's stacked! I ordered oysters for a small bite (the ones with tajin were my favorite), and their bev. list has something for everyone. Our server was great—she really nailed being attentive while also letting us hang out and enjoy the music. Also, shoutout to the owner, Max, for taking time to tell me a bit about the work they've put into this place over the years between preserving elements of the original theatre (I thinkkk he said it was built in the 20s?) while also turning it into what it is today. I really couldn't be more effusive about this place—don't wait too long to check it out!

What a fabulous old theater! We had an excellent experience tonight with a silent movie and an organ player. Great food and drinks check it out! The same movie that we saw today played there 95 years ago! So cool!

We had an absolutely delightful experience! Wonderful diner and drinks while enjoying a Classic movie (Casablanca) at the beautiful Leavittt Theatre. The staff is very attentive, the food was very very good and a fantastic bar. Looking forward to this Friday’s show to close out our weeks vacation. Don’t overlook this little gem!

Best spot in Ogunquit! Creative and exciting dishes and cocktails! We had the octopus congee and the burger which both fantastic. For drinks we had amazing cocktails including a Negroni with their own homemade vermouth and a mezcal drink with fermented peaches! The bloody Mary with grilled octopus was out of this world too. I come here everytime I go to Ogunquit. So cool
