We had such a great experience with Mad Batter Bakery! The cake was beautiful and sweet and was perfect for our daughter’s 18th Birthday. The owner is very nice and personable and is quick to respond to messages. She made this such a smooth transaction and experience! Highly recommend!!!

I ordered a custom cake for my grandmother's 80th birthday. I had zero creative inspiration or ideas, but The Mad Batter took on the challenge and hit it out of the park! The cake was way more beautiful than I could have ever requested and it tasted even better! Thank you!!

They never disappoint! Thank you for the many cakes you made me including the gluten free cake. Now we need a gluten free chocolate espresso cake! Just saying . lol

The Mad Batter has a cute name and a nice Easter-y theme, when I was there. There was less Alice in Wonderland than I expected, but that was OK. I was a bit surprised to see no tables or seating availability indoors. The outdoors tables were OK, but would have been nicer to be able to chat inside. There are a variety of sweet treats and coffee there. My coffee was good, but my companion's has grounds at the bottom that they had to keep spitting out. Their shelves were not particularly well stocked—especially for how early in the day we were there and the treats that were purchased looked better than they tasted. They were pretty dry and unexpectedly gritty-sweet. The service was pretty great! The girls were/are very nice and I believe they make everything there, from what I overheard them saying. But, I would have a hard time recommending people spend $5-10 per treat for the quality that I experienced.

Always forget about this place and then I get mad at myself when I go, remember how good it is, and how many substandard pastries I’ve eaten from other places. The mini cheesecakes are one of the best things I’ve ever had! The mango one is outstanding! And you can’t go wrong with the pineapple pastry sticks or the apple cinnamon pastry sticks This visit we also tried the coconut chocolate chip bars…so yummy and the mini chocolate bundt cake. Can’t review of the cake, my daughter wouldn’t let me have any of it. I have now set a weekly reminder on my phone so I’ll stop missing out on all their sugary goodness! Plus, the ladies who own the place are so nice and helpful!

We ordered 120 cake squares and a 2 tier cake for my daughter’s wedding. I can’t express how great the baker was. She helped us decide what we needed, she had everything ready the day prior as we asked, it was all beautiful and tasted great. Everything was reasonably priced as well. I will recommend Mad Batter to everyone, our new go to bakery!

We have been coming here since we moved to Greenville in April 22, and love it! This is our favorite place to pick up sweets and delicious goods! Their Chai is a must if you like chai, it is made by the owner herself. Its not a liquid pump or generic powder. You can taste the spices, it is full of flavor! Our favorites include their cheese Danish, cream buns, turtle lasagna cups, snickerdoodle whopper pie, chai tea latte, and mini cheesecakes. Check their FB for daily posts on what they have as well as fun theme specials for holidays and events!

We have been looking for a new dessert and bakery spot and boom we found it! From the time we walked in the door, we were impressed with everything from their selection to the awesome Alice in Wonderland decorations throughout the store. I am not a huge dessert person but this place was so good, we went back the next day to get more! The chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter cookie were soft and very flavorful! The Reese's cup cupcake was amazing. It was very rich but not overwhelming to where it made your stomach hurt. It was just right. Out of everything that we got though, the mango passion fruit cupcake exceeded all expectations. From the softness of the cupcake batter to the deliciousness of the mango and passion fruit, this is my favorite cupcake I think I have ever had. I don't even know if you would call it icing on top because the texture and flavor is perfect. I am not an icing guy but there wasn't any left in the box when I was done. The girl working at the counter was very nice and very knowledgeable about all their desserts. She patiently explained everything that was in there because we kept asking questions lol. It was a really fun experience and if you want really good dessert after dinner you have to give the Mad Batter Bakery a try!

There is a girl behind the counter that has very thick dark eye brows (no name tag) and she’s not the friendliest which turned our company off to this shop. If your service is trash, who cares if the pasty is good.

Great experience. It was especially nice meeting the helpful and knowledgeable owner. Cupcake icing was excellent!!!

After dinner at Sushi Masa, we walked down here for dessert. We realized that coming at 7 was a bad idea because most of their items were sold out, so we knew it had to be delicious. We grabbed a few items and were so glad we did. The pineapple pastry and the hummingbird bundt cake was top notch. We can't wait to go back again.

Ordered their highly overpriced Grinch boxes and asked when they opened. Was told 7 am. Said I’ll see you about 8 cause I need them for gathering that starts at 11:30. Got there and they said they “open at 7 but that doesn’t mean the boxes are ready so come back after 12 noon “. No “sorry” or anything. Very rude lady and looked to be her daughter with her said nothing. Asked if they had anything else and she simply said “no”.I will never even try them again. Ugggh!

First time here, since I came later in the afternoon they were already out of lotta sweets but the ones I got were pretty good. I really liked the s’mores one.

Had individual bundt pan carrot cakes made for a church banquet and they were outstanding. The people raved about how moist they were. Will definitely use Mad Batter again.

10/10 would go back for another pumpkin pecan spiced cheese cake... or anything on the shelf, for that matter. 🤤🍰🍪🧁

Excellent eclairs. My car broke down and owner called her husband and 5 minutes later my car was fine. Highly recommend. I go every other day.

Friendly staff and the treats were great. I showed up kinda late on a Friday evening and they still had plenty to choose from. Will be back 100%!

Went during the Harry Potter birthday event and was blown away by the detail and friendly staff. It was my first time there and I was super excited to try everything. I spent about 30$ and got a pretty decent amount of treats! Highly recommend going!

My husband and I have stopped by here a few times, and the service is very friendly and welcoming. The staff walks you through the desserts available that day and can go over the taste, level of sweetness, and heaviness of the options. We tried the hot and cold brew coffee. We were surprised at the vast array of syrup options and the alt milk options. We highly recommend even for a quick coffee in the morning.

My daughter surprised me by taking me here. I wanted to try this place out. They have been here for a year and a half. They have some outside seating, a couple of tables and chairs. I had the cream puff, which had fresh strawberries and fresh whip cream, and the top was chocolate coated. It was delicious and very refreshing. I also had another time their chocolate mousse cake, and that was delicious as well. They serve muffins, cookies, macaroons, and other items as well and hot or iced coffee. Their menu is different each day. I would highly recommend going here if you want quality bakery.

Visited today for the first time and were super impressed. We loved all the flavors and everything was super fresh! The crème in the crème buns was perfectly light. The customer service was top notch! The customer before us left a water bottle in the store and a worker sprinted across the parking lot to make sure they didn’t leave their belongings. Overall it was a great treat for a Friday afternoon! Can’t wait to go back once they get back from vacation!

Upon entering the bakery, we were instantly captivated by the mouth-watering array of delectable treats. The cream buns were simply divine, expertly crafted to perfection and providing an unforgettable flavor explosion in every bite. The cannolis, too, were absolutely remarkable - a tantalizing blend of rich, creamy filling and crisp pastry that left us craving more. But the true stars of our visit were the pineapple and strawberry pastry sticks; each bite was a symphony of fruity goodness and flaky pastry that had us singing praises of this extraordinary bakery. A truly outstanding experience we cannot recommend enough! *Note: the shifting in the cake picture happened during transport when a car ahead of me stopped abruptly.

Stopped in today and I have NO regrets. The woman that was behind the counter was so sweet. I asked her how long the chocolate chip cookies would stay fresh because I wanted to take some to my boyfriend in GA on Saturday (3 days away). She said they would be just fine in the fridge until then but she recommends I get them the day before or the day of for perfect freshness. I really appreciated her honesty rather than trying to make a sale. I took home a couple macarons because I’m on a diet and workout program right now. I finally just had one and it was DIVINE. I also had a iced latte with almond milk and it was delicious and the perfect little pick me up. I will definitely be returning for those cookies, mini cheesecakes, and the well sought after strawberry cream buns. Definitely go here for your sweet tooth cravings! Locally owned and family ran and it truly shows.

we have been to this bakery multiple times & everything we have gotten has been exceptional. the cookie dough is the best & all of the Alice in Wonderland decorations are so fun! we asked Niña to make our one year old a donut smash cake & donuts for our party guests. she knocked it out of the park & everything was so delicious. she was great to work with!

We drove a long way to get here but when I tell you it was worth it OMG definitely will be coming back we got a few things and some iced coffee that was amazing please come and see them you will not be disappointed

Amazing gluten free goodies behind the counter when you ask. Their cheesecake is to die for! It’s a payday treat for me; along with Sweet Basil Thai next door. I love everything I’ve tried. Fudge, cookies, macarons, cake and cheesecake. Cannot recommend them enough. The place is clean, beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Best sweet treats, homemade daily. I'm not a coffee person, but my daughter and husband says it's one of the bests.
