The Meadows in Ebensburg is the place to go! Everyone is so kind and welcoming! The tall young man (unsure of his name) was the sweetest and most personable young person I have meet. I would totally recommend this place!

Chocolate Carmel Crunch was delicious! White House used to be my favorite, but now the cherry pieces they add are cut so small you can't taste the cherries....which used to be the best part.

Ordered Whitehouse ice cream advertised. Disappointed when I received a cup of vanilla ice cream with a few slivers of cherry and a few spots cherry juice. Could not have been one complete cherry in the cup and had no cherry flavor. I typically enjoy your products. Definitely did not receive product that was advertised.

Love the meadows, they could however make sure to turn their open sign off, and when the parlor is closed to lock it

I don't know what this is, but I know it's not Meadows ice cream like in Indiana or on US 22. The color was was am odd cream color, not white, and the taste and texture were awful. I threw it away and went to US 22. Also, the ice cream in Ebensburg is $2.00 cheaper than Indiana and US 22.

Custard is better than Ice Cream and this place had the very best Custard and soft serve Frozen Yogurt. The flavors are outstanding. I try to resist, but i find myself at the Meadows more often than I admit to my wife.

I highly recommend this cute small town custard shop! People commonly make the ape-minded mistake that they sell ice cream however this is not the truth. Custard is different from ice cream it has egg yolks in it making it all the better, bougie ice cream if you will. The workers are very nice and although sometimes you may have to wait a little longer because of how popular the place is, it’s always with the wait 🙌🙌. I also love the manager there, Dan, or more notably Dan Dan the Custard Man he’s a lad and a half!!

I stopped by this location earlier this week for a nice cool and delicious treat. The staff was incredibly polite, and the ice cream was delicious! I spoke with a nice girl named Ashley, who was helpful in our flavor selection. Thank you!

They closed the lobby at 8:18!! Very disappointed. They don’t even close till 9!!! There is a sign on the door that says lobby closes at 8:40.

Nice you can eat inside. Bathrooms were a bit messy, kinda odd as well having them right off of the eating area. Staff was nice, and ice cream was served quickly. Overall not a bad stop for ice cream.

Since moving here last year, a wonderful discovery has been The Meadows Original Custard. They have a constantly changing menu of daily flavors and offer veteran discount which we appreciate. They have the very best chocolate custard anywhere, and it has become an addiction. Most impressive is their employees; young, courteous and very attentive and helpful employees. Go check them out... soon.

Great ice cream, substandard service. Plenty of workers, but the workers ignore the in-store customers for the drive-thru customers. I waited over five minutes for a worker to even acknowledge me as the workers steadily filled drive thru customers. It took over ten minutes to order a single cup of ice cream as I watched cars continually order and have their orders filled. It was really frustrating to see cars pull up and be served, before I was even acknowledged, when I clearly arrived a substantial amount of time before them.

The Rasberry cheesecake special "flavor of the day" was the best custard I've ever had. And that's saying a lot...I'm an ice cream freak! The chocolate almond was also really good. They use salted nuts as opposed to non salted- I was thinking caramel added in to the choc. almond would be amazing. Definitely stop and try it out. They have a calendar with each days special flavors.

Edit- went back recently to get sundaes and they were great! Ice cream was actually frozen like it should be and was what we used to expect from here.I hear it's under new management, but can't confirm. Ice cream tastes GREAT when it's actually ice cream and not soup. Ordered a banana split, waited forever and the kid working there handed me a container with a banana and a river of melted vanilla ice cream. I say river because it was running out of the container all over the place as it was being handed to me. Maybe spend a little less on the air conditioning and a little more to freeze the ice cream. The brown cows are usually pretty good.

Really quick service. Three ways to order: Walk up, go inside, drive up. I got the Turtle sundae. Smooth, silky and delicious. Found out from the next customer that a "dirty turtle" uses chocolate custard instead of original. Next time!

truly a fantastic ice cream joint. We found it randomly as we drove through the area and were totally delighted. The frozen custard is rich and creamy and unlike soft serve OR hard scoop. The service was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and cute....but not too cute. They don't mess around with a menu of gross fried foods-- strictly frozen custard. BUT : **buyer beware** the "small" cone is ENORMOUS. Never in my long ice cream cone eating life has a cone bested me, and i couldn't finish this one. Have fun! Worth the stop.

Always great and prompt service. I've been visiting this location for many years and their quality ice cream never fails. They have tasty flavors of the day everyday. My absolute favorite thing they offer is their ice cream cakes, hands down the best! Definitely recommend the Meadows in Ebensburg.

It's the custard ice cream you get at the beach. Something hear for everyone, but I can't get by the original turtle....it is the absolute best!

Little local soft serve place with a drive through window. They make ice cream cakes, shakes and sundaes too. Special treats like the black cow and orange fluff are done favorites. Italian ice and Gelato available if you don't like soft serve.

Nice server that has counter service and drive up. Everything was fresh and very delicious. I recommend going here very highly.

The custard at this location(Ebensburg) is always too soft. It's running down the cone before they even hand it to you and then messy if you're in your car. Other locations don't have this problem.

The Meadows has the best ice cream around, no matter which location. This store offers Italian ice and some other items that I haven't seen at the ones in Altoona. Still my favorite of all is their peanut butter milkshake, highly recommended!

I have it in my mind that this place is supplied by Valewood farms, which is where I saw a 6 year old attempt to milk a fake cow full of water. It was a sad attempt that ended in tears. Tears that could have been staunched by eating the delicious sweet treats served here. Get them a banana shake and tell them Valencia Stevens sent you.

Couldn't believe they didn't have orange for a gelati, orange fluff just doesn't cut it.

THE MEADOWS IN EBENSBURG PA HAS THE BEST FROZEN CUSTARD IN THE LOCAL AREA! I HAVE TAKEN MY FAMILY THERE SEVERAL TIMES FOR THEIR DELICIOUS FROZEN TREATS. KIND, COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, WELCOMING YOUNG, HARD WORKING STAFF. VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, FAMILY ENVIRONMENT.

Try the strawberry banana shake! It will be like a party in your mouth with everyone invited!
