I really love sandwiches, and it has treated me very well. I ate here before I proposed to my wife. There are a number of seats available for dining. I like the Shrimply the Best sandwich. The cheese and shrimp just ooze out. I thought I wasn't going to get full, but it turned out to be very filling. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys a good sandwich.

This is the place for the best sandwiches in New Orleans. The service is very friendly, the sandwiches are delicious and the milkshakes are the best! Owner Kevin is great. Fun fact: this is the only place in New Orleans that sells peanut sauce. If we ever go back to New Orleans we will definitely go here again!

Omg, so far I've had their chocolate and strawberry shakes, roast beef poboy and the Aubergine sandwich. All were excellent and especially the bread is out of this world!

Great shake, amazing chicken sandwich! I got the Clooney's Choice, best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The Mocha Madness shake was pretty good too. I love all the cow decor, the music was great, people were nice, prices were decent. 10/10. If you're nearby go, totally worth it.

Such a cool place to eat! The food and shakes were AMOOOZING!!! Christmas in July Ciabatta, Sautéed Shrimp Po'boy (both big enough to share) left us licking our fingers!! No shake flavor will disappoint

Always love this spot. Great po'boys, sandwiches, and salads. It's always quick and high quality. Some of our favorites are the roast beef po'boy, psycho chicken sandwich, and peanut satay salad.

I got the eggplant sandwich. It had every flavor under the sun and tasted awesome! Those who live in New Orleans are lucky to have this restaurant. They take chances and it pays off in a delicious way!

Everything you'd want in a fun funky indie sandwich/coffee shop. Incredible sandwiches and salads (several delicious vegetarian options) which all have fun pop culture related names, plentiful beverage options, and a fun decor theme that is just the right amount of visually interesting and amusing.

Great place for some tasty sandwiches if you're craving something other than just a po'boy. I believe they bake their own bread. It's delicious. Today I had the Shrimply the Best.

It's been many years since I've been here, but I was determined to get back this trip. The Shrimply the Best did not disappoint! As delicious as I remember all those years ago and the service was great! Located in the Riverbend area (on the streetcar line) with lots of parking, this gem offers a twist on the local sandwich/poboy offerings. So worth it!

Great place, but why is it never open?! I swear I may apply here for the vacation hours alone... Off twice a week and randomly closed for two weeks for vacation. I need my roast beef!

I got the Clooneys choice and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had!! It had the perfect amount of ingredients and the flavor combination was well put together.

Ordered the chicken "parmesan" and a milkshake. Chicken was not parmesan (breaded, fried). Just sliced chicken. I could do this at home but would not deceive myself & call it parmesan because there is no cooking involved. Only heating in an oven. Chocolate banana milkshake tasted like chocolate only. Not sure if they made the wrong thing. Either this or the sandwich (or both) left me with upset stomach. If you want to go to a real (as in not fake) milk bar, Baskin Robbins is next door.

Year after year… it never fails to impress! Poboys, milkshakes, coffee… it doesn’t matter… you won’t be disappointed!!

The "Cow Economics" pictures on the wall let you know right off the bat that their level of hipster is so high that you are going to be talked to in the most condescending way and judged for how many drinks you order with only 2 people in your party. If the food was as good as they think that they are cool, or even half as good, I would not have to order a shake and sit there while my girlfriend eats her sandwich.

I love, love, love this place. I literally crave the Shirley Valentine sandwich, but I've loved everything I've tried from their menu!

The lamb poboy was so delicious that I wept tears of joy with each bite. The caramel milkshake had lots of caramel. Large portions. Would have been enough for two meals but it was so delicious I ate it all at once. Thank you milk bar.

This is the best lunch spot in uptown!!! I used to work next door and would get it every day, and now I will go out of my way to grab lunch there. The employees are always so nice and fantastic to talk to.

Perfect little lunch spot! The service was great. I feel like the seating is quite limited based off of how popular this place seems to be. There's quite a bit of foot traffic in there. Their sandwiches are so delicious! Perfectly filled and toasty. I also had a chocolate banana milkshake and it was divine! I don't live too far from here so this is definitely going to become one of my usual spots. I'm absolutely looking forward to my next visit, and I will update this review with specific sandwich recommendations next time I go.

Confident this is one of the best sandwich shops in NOLA, for years. My favorite is Pyscho Chicken and Christmas in July. Family owned, too!

THE BEST SANDWICH I’ve ever had! Simple ingredients but yet so tasty! I was on vacation in New Orleans and on our last day there before heading to the airport we we’re passing by and decided to check it out randomly. So glad we did because I have been trying to recreate this and it is not even close!

My brother and I both got Ocidental Oriental ciabatta sandwich. Containing chicken, peanut satay sauce, mozzarella, red pepper, cucumber, carrot, cilantro, and shredded lettuce. It's a very big sandwich, a plus on your wallet and your stomach. Flavor wise, just okay. Perhaps their other sandwiches are better. Quality ingredients, price, presentation and service pushed my decision to 4 stars. Strawberry Fields Milkshake was good, but not the best I've ever had.

I mean, just WOW! I feel like this place reinvented the sandwich! So fresh, so delish, such great and varied clever combinations and wonderful breads! I just wish they were open EVERY DAY! Also: cool decor and friendly, helpful, genuine staff.

Had the yam I am and the chicken parm. The yam I am was amazing, perfectly balanced. Nothing over powered anything it was a beautiful symphony of flavors perfectly melt cheese and the bread was something you don't find in the deep south often. Leaps and bounds above an over proofed French loaf(it has it place also). The chicken parm on the other hand was lacking in some department. The bread though different was still stupendous (where y'all getting your bread from?). Had I known the chicken not only was going to be breast but not breaded or fried I would've gone a different route. It was slighty dry but could've been helped if there was a bit more sauce on it. The sauce was tasty though just needed a bit more. It wasn't bad by any means just wasn't what I was expending a chicken parm to be. A better menu description would have rectified any misconceptions I had. All in all a wonderful experience. I will be back again as usual. So many options to try.

We were party of 6 and we all enjoyed our sandwiches. We ordered vegetarian sandwiches and they were nicely made with good bread served hot. Will go there again. Pleasant staff.

Delicious sandwiches. It’s been almost 6 months since my last visit. Don’t know why I waited so long! Clooney’s Choice and I Dream Of Aubergenie sandwiches were delicious (one was mine, other was wife’s). I’ll be back much sooner next time. I plan to try every sandwich on the menu. Then I’ll do the salads.

Poseidon was god of the sea, earthquakes, storms, and horses and is considered one of the most bad-tempered, moody and greedy Olympian gods. He was known to be vengeful when insulted. He is the son of Cronus and Rhea and was swallowed by his father along with Hades, Demeter, Hestia and Hera. 10/10 Will eat again.

Their sandwiches have a perfect blend of flavors that are complimentary with their milkshakes.

My sandwich was hot, big, and delicious. I had the mocha madness milkshare which was great too. Loved the little lollipop thrown in.

We picked up Sweet Thai Chili Lamb sandwich & the Blue Heeler sandwiches. As my wife said, "divine!". The sandwiches were ample for the prices. Highly recommend.

The Milk Bar has such a cute atmosphere - I love the cow theme. It is also one of my favorite places to get milkshakes. They're so delicious!

One of my favorite quick serve places in town. Staff are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. I'm fairly stuck in my ways, and usually only get the, Shrimply the Best, sandwich. Would definitely recommend if you like shrimp. Bringing friends and family who order other items, they have never been disappointed. They also have very good milkshakes!

I had a good time. They have shakes, malts, salads, coffee, smoothies and poboys. They are at the natural levee on Carrolton whoch is a very common uptown spot. It used to be one of the hang puts 20 years ago. But definitly a good location. Not far from Loyola and Tulane. Hogh prevalence of College Students come by

I really like this place and love the cow theme. The Occidental Oriental sandwich was fresh, hearty and delicious! Friendly and fast service and will definitely go back again. My only complaint is the use of so much paper product and styrofoam, and the salad container for my step-mom's salad was a bit too small and difficult for her to mix her salad and eat out of. Perhaps if there were plates and bowls for people who were dining in, that would be better. Will still come back next time I visit!

This is an awesome place for salads and sandwiches! You can't go wrong. The ingredients are fresh, and everything I've ever eaten here was excellent. They also have delicious milkshakes. Last, but not least, the service is great, and you get a lollipop with your order.

The cutest restaurant with the best theme. Great milkshakes. The occidental oriental might be my favorite sandwich of all time. Getting a lollipop with every order is something you don’t expect, and whenever you get it it just doubles the size of your smile. The sandwiches also look like flying saucers which is a plus.
