Quiet calm and worth the money The parking lot does blow but it made it worth it I only remembered now because I myself am parking somewhere as I’m writing this review

Good selection of teas, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Haven't tried any of the snackies, so can't comment on those.

Sad, maybe the owner is giving up. I heard it was special at one time. Lot's of potential still. Business is work. Don't give up on your dream sis. I'd help you.

I went here for the first time the other day. It is such a good vibe in there. They have a chill atmosphere. It's filled with indoor plants and the lighting is low. The seating was comfortable and the people hanging out in there were so friendly. This place made me really appreciate living in Juneau.

Amazing! Great place to relax and grab a cup of tea. They have a wide selection of delicious teas (hot, cold, boba, chai, matcha, etc.) for every mood and occasion. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely purveyor and wonderful selection of teas and fruit drinks. Hours a bit uncertain and wasn’t sure if had bubble tea, but she did, and better yet. she offered mochi in lieu of tapioca. Not something I’d ever had in bubble tea, and I loved it! I would’ve loved to make it back to try the coconut with it, but she wasn’t open before we had to leave for the airport around midday. Location nearer airport and a smaller one I believe in town.

Not what I was expecting in a Tea house, but regardless the tea was great quality and the staff, particularly Stacia was super friendly & helpful. Affordable tea prices for loose leave tea. I plan on buying and taking way to much home as a wonderful souvenir. Would definitely come back!

The staff seemed intimidated by me, not sure it's because how I look or what but still definitely a nice little shop.

Love it so much I wish it was open 7 days a week. It's one of my favorite spots to meetup with sober friends. I wish I could try everything but there's always such a big selection.

Northern Tea House provides a small, pleasant atmosphere for tea in a social setting in two seating areas, one with a couch, the other with a small table setting. It's a comfortable space with a rather large selection of teas or bubble teas. Sometimes there are little sweets also available, depending on what's available. After looking over their menu of multiple pages of teas, some of which are no longer available, two possibilities stood out for me to try. Royal Chinese Milk Tea was selected, or Masala Chai. What size, I chose the 20 oz and then selected half and half. The place filled up with several more customers shortly before they were scheduled to close, daily 1200-1700. I liked the taste of my milk tea, my spouse chose Turkish tea, said that it wasn't dark enough. Turkish tea I believe is brewed very strong, very dark, where an amount is drawn, then diluted with hot water in the cup. There's a loyalty program when you pay with a credit or debit card.

Always friendly staff ive never had an unpleasant encounter there. A wide variety of different teas, black, green, etc. Lists of all varieties. And tea pots and cups for purchase (perfect for holiday gifts we're planning for family💜) parking could be better but at least there's some available..

I loved this place when I went with a friend. The tea was great, and the staff are friendly. It's cute on the inside, and peaceful. No complaints.

The selection of teas and the cozy atmosphere was a wonderful detour from the snow. You can pick your own tea cups from the wall of them too!

Great experience, great decor & ambiance and, most importantly, great tea. I'd have enjoyed it regardless because the reception my grand-daughter got in her princess costume was priceless. You could bring a younger along, or rely on finding a serene space to escape yours for a while 😉 Seriously, this is a cozy, smallish place that's big on atmosphere. Being able to choose your own tea, milk/alternative & sweetener is really great, but even better: choosing your teapots & cups from shelves full of them! And the decor, including several raven paintings I wanted to bring home with us, adds to The Northern being a place I want to visit every time I get up to Juneau. 👌

The tea is so amazing here! Especially the premium milk tea, and boba. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially if you know little to nothing about tea. (Especially Ivan in the downtown location.) I highly reccomend them to everyone!

Came here during a short layover. 5 minute walk from the airport, great London Fog lattes, collection of board and card games, fast Wi-Fi, reasonable prices -- a solidly good place to relax.

También tuve el pita y el hummus, pensando que era algo ligero y rápido. También fue delicioso. Realmente un descanso agradable de mi día.

The best and only place in town of its kind. I love the teas here. I also love that you can order a cup or pot of tea, or buy loose leaf tea to prepare at home.

Small, cozy, delightful. Many lose leaf teas to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Tasty bites and daily specials to accompany your tea selection. You can choose your tea, your teapot, and your tea cups☺. Places like this at common in other countries and big cities such as Montreal, but very rare and unique here. A locals favorite. Located at the Airport Mini Mall next to other interesting, friendly shops. Free parking available in the front and to the left of Mall.

I visit here as often as I can with friends and family. The atmosphere is calming and rejuvenating, and the service impeccable. I would highly reccomend you go in and sit down for a nice cup of tea 😊

I can't say enough good things about Ibn and Maria at Northern Tea House. They have a tremendous knowledge of so many types of teas from all over the world. They make all kinds of tasty concoctions each time I walked in the door. Not only are they awesome with tea, they are strong community members! I no longer live in Juneau but whenever I go back to visit my first stop is ALWAYS the Northern Tea House!! You will be hooked from the 1st visit!

A 5-minute walk from the airport, the Northern Tea House is a wonderful place to meet with friends or your traveling companion during a layover for a delicious pot of tea and snacks. I enjoyed the personalization of your experience there. From picking your tea to the types of milk you would like, including soy, coconut, almond, for no additional charge. You even get to pick out that tea pot and the cups you want to use! There is also a limited selection of homemade snacks for purchase such as hummus and pots and guacamole and sprouts on toast, both of which were reasonable in price, fresh, and delicious. For a pot of tea for 2, hummus and pita and the guacamole toast, total bill was $23. Loved it and can't wait to have another layover to walk here again! Note: they are closed on Mondays.

Loose leaf tea galore! Owner is very nice and knowledgeable, and is very welcoming to newbies like myself and my wife. Pick a tea and take it home, or have it brewed in your own pot and relax in a chair.

This family knows their tea. Far better than I do, for sure! Here you can try teas you've never heard of and blends you'd never dreamed of. Seriously, though, I had a strawberries and cream tea. It was fabulous. They also have a couple different Thai teas, and they're as good as or better than at any Thai restaurant I've ever been to, and my wife and I regularly go for their vanilla Chai. Really. Good. Teas. I thought about coming in for months but I always had some reason to hold off. If you're doing that too, make time! Prices are absolutely reasonable, better than nearby coffee options, and you can also buy by the pot if you want. OH! And it's comfortable and relaxing inside, too! Favorite beverage spot in Juneau, hands down. They serve some pretty phenomenal looking food, too, but I've only ever had a small sample of it (no surprise, also delicious). I got confused about the parking my first time in, however. It's a one way, with the tea house at the entrance, but there's more parking along the side fence and in the back.

I love this place. It's got a great, relaxing atmosphere, a private room for groups/parties, and you can order personal pots of tea for a very reasonable price. Owners are also very helpful, and there are lots of quirky and personal touches. You choose your own unique mug and pot; you can warm up your mug; they give you a timer so your tea really does brew to perfection.

Small, well appointed, knowledgeable service people. You can order almost anything in tea that your heart desires.
