Gotta love a food truck that has a short menu and does it aSaturday. Pizzadilla was worth every penny and packed full with meat. Plenty of seating in the shade, and quick service for a dinner time rush on a saturday. Glad to have made the random stop.

Birria tacos were the bomb! That spicy sauce on the side is a rude awakening. Service was fast and pleasant. Conveniently located where we were staying. Definitely was a favorite for the family!

It's very hot to eat outside, the service was very slow as they were busy that day. The tacos and melt that we ordered were good. I didn't like that they didn't offer a salsa that wasn't super spicy. The "dip" wasn't my cup of tea, but all in all it wasn't bad for a taco truck.

The whole team of staff and owners consistently put out some of the best Birria tacos we’ve ever had. The Quesa tacos with Consome is our go-to. Crispy in the outside and filled with a generous portion of perfectly-seasoned meat. We’re so glad to have a food truck like this so close to our home.

Amazing food for a really decent price! Birria pizza was big enough to feed 3-4 people and the asada fries were honestly the biggest hit with me! I’ll definitely come back to try more stuff!

This place is definitely one of my favorite places for tacos now . It's only my 2nd time but there's honestly nothing bad I can say about this place, the foods great, the price is decent an the atmosphere is definitely a good feeling. I highly recommend it if you're looking for great tacos

I heard great things about the place and wanted to try the food, but the line was too long. I waited for over 30 minutes, but it didn't seem to move much. I didn't get to eat anything, but the smell was amazing. I'll try again next time.

More food there than just Birria tacos

Accidently turned in to the Yoga Retreat Center next door. Easy to miss your turn. Nice little taco truck with three options. The Taco Place Birria has slow service. There were three orders ahead of us and we received our food in about 20 minutes. The tacos were flavorful, not too greasy, and hit the spot. Worth a visit.

Delicious tacos! The price is not too bad. The only downside is that I waited about an hour to order and get my food. Maybe getting more employees would help ease the wait. When I left, the ordering line had about 20 people or more. Oh, and the Birria Pizzadilla is $15, but they charged me $16.

Once up a time there was a little red taco truck, the best in west San Antonio Texas. Wait, it’s still the best! I visited today with my family and this place has a nice picnic vibe with other food trucks in the place. There was a Puerto Rico food truck and all the food looked delicious . Next time I will buying from the Puerto Rico food truck. This place also has a playground for kids and plenty of tables.

I would’ve loved to try them out tonight, but when I arrived at 9:25pm I was turned away as they stated they were closed. All the signs showed open there were people eating and people in the food truck. The hours show they close at 10pm so I was confused. If you’re actively on social media and closing early please post it on your platforms. I won’t be back but I hope they get their scheduled situated.

I love coming here to eat, the service is amazing and I always have a great time here everyone makes you feel like family. The owners are really nice and they help out everyone, this place is the bomb.

I'm from El Paso, so I know a good taco, and when I tell you these are the best tacos I've ever had.... please believe you cannot go wrong eating here.

My boyfriend and I just left and were so impressed. Staff member (younger male) was so kind to answer any questions, gave use extra sauces to try when we weren’t sure, and even gave us an extra drink to try. Service was fast and the food was amazing!!!! We shared the pizza

It was mine and my daughters first time at The Taco Place Birria. Also, it was our first time eating Birria:) The Taco Place Birria did not disappoint! My daughters and I enjoyed it. The owner (sorry I didn't get his name) was very welcoming and was great at describing the menu items. Great customer service! We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Had been going to this place for years but to be honest the quality of the food has gone down. It does not taste as good as before, they don’t put the effort like they used now that they are more popular.

I ordered three of the quesatacos with a side of the consume. The tacos had good flavor just needed a little more salt which they provide. The consume was good but it was lacking some salt. I added the salsa, lime and salt to the consume which enhanced the flavor. My only gripe is that for my tastes and liking, the tortillas should have been a little more fried. It was too soft and by the time I got to the 3rd taco. It just fell apart. I will go back and try their birria pizza. It looks good on the pictures.

My wife and I discovered The Taco Place on March, 2021 and have been eating there every few weeks since. The food is consistently good, clean (quality) and flavorful. My wife asked the owner a question or two about the consome and he replied “I love what I do” and it shows. The gentlemen then pointed at a table and said that was his family and kids and they were eating and said he treats all his customers like he was feeding his own family. Again the consistency and flavor of his food , always on point. Highly recommended.

Hands down the BEST authentic Birria spot in San Antonio. I've tried other places that they hype up and hands down this is it. The staff is always friendly, tentatively and quick.

Was not used to soft Birria tacos. Usually they are fried crunchy. Great flavor though

First time trying The Taco Place and it didn’t disappoint . I got 5 mini Taquitos of Birria with an Agua Fresca of Pineapple , super delicious . Just recommend they add more napkins due to the food being super juicy .

Ordered the pizza birria and the taco plate and both were super delicious ! Service was good and the food came out fast & dont forget to order the flavor drinks with fresh fruits really good also. My favorite from the taco plate was the quesataco next time i would order more of those.
