Old school 90's hip hop, and delicious burgers. Can't beat it!

I'm not sure why this place had such high ratings and past awards unless there are no other places to get something in the area. We were traveling and counted on the rating. It's difficult to get into and out of. It had some kind of vibe, but as white people, we were sorely and obviously out of place. My burger was charred to the point of borderline burnt. The onion straws on both our burgers were swimming in grease and burned. I asked to delete the lettuce, tomato, and onion from my burger and add barbecue sauce. On my companion's burger, he asked to delete lettuce and mustard and add mayo. They actually charge either $0.25 or $0.35 to add a tiny squirt of a condiment and don't take into account that you leave all those toppings off. The bbq sauce, btw, is very tangy mustard. Don't expect the straight hand cut looking fries shown on pictures. They're thin frozen crinkle cut fries. If you like ketchup, get plenty of packets because these packets have less than half of what you usually get in a packet of ketchup. We like burgers and are quite flexible/ not picky about them, but we wouldn't go here again, I'm sad to say. And I very rarely give a poor review.

Staff friendly and service is fast for the number of people streaming through . The food was great. I had that homemade taste but season well. Home-made ice cream was like back in the day real ice-cream taste.

I haven’t been to actual restaurant, but my coworker introduced this place to me, he’s picked up for me at least 5 times on his way to work. I usually get the double bacon cheeseburger, and it’s by far my favorite burger in the area. It’s just an overall great burger, good flavors, portions size and toppings. I look forward for more great lunches, thank you

This little place is so unpretentious that you may call it a bit dumpy, which is perfect! But wait until you get your food! Great burgers and great fries! You order at the counter... The service is friendly and courteous. The burgers came out quickly and were delicious. As good as you can get anywhere.

So good, some of the best burgers in Tampa by far. The only thing I would change is they do not take call ahead orders. Would love to see online ordering sometime in the future where you pay online first if that’s part of the reason.

BEST burger you will ever put in your mouth. I have many different burgers from all sorts of places and this one has it on lock. It makes every other burger seem insignificant in comparison. Cooked to order and flavorful with a good amount of meat for even just the single burger. My husband eat here at least once a week but I won't even lie we have eaten here twice this week. Also, an amazing strawberry shake!! So much fresh strawberry and it was so creamy. Definitely hit the spot.

The burger was amazing! The fries were amazing! Everything was amazing. I drove from St. Pete to Tampa to try these and everything was so worth the drive. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Visiting from Tennessee with my husband and I found this suggestion on IG, decided to try it out… so glad we did! Husband had the double cheeseburger and I had the The Heater- ohh my it was so good! 😋 we also got free fries which was awesome. Friendly guy on the counter and cool spot.

In mood for a burger while I’m in town for the weekend. Saw this saving reviews about this place and decided to try their burgers. OMG, one of the best burger joints I ever have been in. Their burgers are juicy and it has taste that knocks you off your socks! I’m glad I swing by for a bacon double cheese! Delicious!

I have never visited this place until today. The customer service and food was excellent. I Was undecided what to order so I ended up ordering the bacon cheese burger and string onion.

Writing as I'm standing waiting here. Have waited over 30 mins for an uber order. Orders that have been placed after I have arrived have been prepared first. Probably being discriminated as I'm the only person of a certain race in here. Should have canceled but uber will only compensate 3 dollars.

Ridiculicious! I had not been to the Burger spot in a minute. I had to pick up my daughter today after a morning camp and my wife and I went to have lunch there. My goodness! The burgers are giant, they are ultra delicious, the service is incredible, and I cannot believe just how overwhelmed I am by how good it was. My wife and I talked about how we need to start making the drive from where we moved to get Burger sometimes from there. By the way they're about 10 gourmet burger places between our house and thee Burger spot. Those others are good but they're not at this level. Brava!

OMG! Best burger around. I've been feening for another burger but I'm out of town for a year. I've told all my friends and family to check out out. Small eating area but the burger was on point. Flavorful and tender and just the right size to be big but not overwhelming.

There was a cockroach in the middle of me waiting for my food, the burger was good but my 3rd bite I didn’t eat the rest because I had to much anxiety that there was gonna be another cockroach I definitely recommend the strawberry shake tho

Super burgers with many variations! Fresh ingredients made to order in any style of hamburger or cheeseburger one could think of. A "go to" spot and local Seminole Heights gem. Strait forward menu with burgers, fries, soft drinks and now milkshakes! The milkshakes are big, cold, tasty, real ice cream shakes and are fantastic! The fries are the perfect golden, crispy, salty perfection served hot and fresh. Any time I am nearby and can grab lunch here, I do.

I love the variety of burgers. The taste of burgers are delicious.

Alright guys we can just go ahead and forget about micky ds or wendys or any other place you’re getting burgers. This place just gave me the best lunch I have had in a long time for under 10 dollars. Thee tangy burger was so good with that sauce and onions. And it came with fries which you can season there to your liking with some kind of Cajun seasoning or something. All for under 10!! And they are super friendly and professional. It was busy but I got my order quick. Perfect lunch spot for your break from work. Please give these guys a shot and you won’t be disappointed. Congrats to the owners.

I ordered the Hot one Burger and some french fries. The burger was so good that I didn't even care how mediocre the french fries were. The burger was so flavorful, it had plenty of bacon, jalapeno, and cheese on it. It had a nice thick juicy patty that was seasoned beautifully. Sadly, the french fries were bland crinkle cut fries like the kind in your high school cafeteria. Everyone in the shop was friendly, I got my burger quickly and it was reasonably priced. 100% chance I will return for another burger. I probably will just skip the french fries next time though.

We've been trying burger places in Tampa. Thee Burger Spot is actually quite close to our home. We've driven past it a bunch but never stopped. We figured we'd give it a go. I got Thee Tangy One and my son got Thee Big Boy. We also got some fries, a peach mango kush drink, and a cookies and cream shake. Both my son and I thought the burgers were good. We'd give them a 7 out of 10 (my rating) and 8 out of 10 (my son's rating). My son was delighted with the size (yes, he ate all 1.5 pounds of the burger), but thought other burgers we've had recently were better flavored. Likewise, while my burger was good, I've had better. Mine was also a little drier than I like. As for the rest of the food... The fries were crispy but didn't have any special seasonings. The mango peach kush drink was good. And we liked the shake. The place itself is intriguing. It has a very strong "hole-in-the-wall" vibe. It's definitely not a modernized restaurant. It looks like it's an older building that has been repaired and patched up but could really use a good "gutting" and refurbishment. But some of its charm is also that it's pretty old school. The employees were nice and service was quick. It was also surprisingly busy on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

We were driving to tamp and got hungry otw. We searched for food in the area, and this place popped up with great reviews. So we had to come check it out. I'm definitely glad we did. The burges were really good. We'll seasoned and cooked perfectly. Food is made fresh to order. You can't go wrong with stopping and getting a good burger if you're in the area. Even the onion rings were good.

Ive got nothing but good things to say about this place. The vibe when you walk in is fantastic, the customer service is on point, the service is fast and efficient, AND THE FOOD... LAWD, that might have been the best burger I've had in years. And the price can't be beat. I can eat some food and they recommended a single because the double was a big-boy. Under $13 for a BIG OL' burger and healthy portion of crisp fries. You're missing out if you don't go.

Listen to me, Don't go to no other burger spot in Tampa. You deserve the best, and this place is the best. Not only is the culture saturated into the walls of this place, but their staff is very friendly. The Smack Burger I got was actually smack, meaning delicious. They also gave me a drink called "Blue Dream," and I guess they make it in-house, very good with a burger. Seriously, you need to check this place out, it's amazing.

Been going to this spot for years, but since they recently extended hours later at night, I decided to pay them a nighttime visit. Thee Burger Spot is an institution at this point, and you see people from all walks of life coming in. They got a wild sense of humor with some of the signage, but it is all in good fun. Friendly staff. The prices are on point. There really isn't a reason to go to a fast food spot when you can get a much better burger for the same price. The burger I got was well-seasoned and meaty. I'm a big dude, and the single patty is definitely enough. You're a true big back if you get the double. I got a vanilla shake, and it kinda gave me blue bell ice cream vibes. Either way, I was very happy with the shake. The fries were nice, and they let you season it how you want with salt, pepper, or old bay. They deserve all the praise they get. Good food made by food people... Still hoping they bring back the teriyaki burger 😩

Wow! Came here on a whim and never been happier. The food was amazing and did not disappoint! I did the heated one with Tangy sauce instead of ranch. It was FIRE! I am coming back for sure to try the Glazed one on the weekends. The steak fries and Onion thanga were good too, place has alot to choose from and you can't go wrong. They have great inside atmosphere and cool shirts, signs, and great people working! There's a reason they won so many awards and have so many high reviews

We were in Tampa for a family vacation and the guy at the front desk at our hotel suggested this place. This was the best burger I've ever had! Even the husband, who is super picky, said the same thing! Everyone was so nice and the service was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing about this place! We definitely plan on returning on our next vacation to Florida even if we are just passing through. I wish I could get this good of a burger here in Michigan.

We love this place, always friendly staff, great music while you wait average 15-20 min. They cook as it's ordered and worth the wait. Burger & fries are around $10.00 and they are generous portions. They get very busy so patience is appreciated.

Huge servng was exactly as advertised. Able to order online and get DoorDash for personal pickup. This allowed me to go, drive up , grab my sandwich and drive out. Guys working there were very professional .

In Tampa for a U Tampa tour my sons wanted a burger after. Thank god i found this place on Google. Burger was so damn good. Juicy, well seasoned, cooked to perfection. The bun was fresh and amazing. I wish i took a pic. One of my boys got steak fries he thought the steak was good. He has a dairy alergy and could not eat the bun and he still liked what he got. If I lived in Tampa this place would definitely be in my rotation of burger joints when u need a burger fix. Don't mind the 3 stars for atmosphere your going here for the samn food 💯

Intelligent staff, easy parking, combined with excellent bacon cheeseburger and fair prices make this a must experience for those looking for a perfect fat juicy burger. $5 strawberry milkshake had real strawberries in it and was a full fat heavy shake....well done, but keep in mind this is a VERY casual atmosphere.

Was looking for a non fast food joint and found this NICE Spot, We had the Double Bacon Burger and Double Cheese burger, it was a awesome burger. The patties were good size and the onions, cooked perfectly, it was a filling burger, had to take a break to finish it.

The burgers are awesome! They taste so good and are very big. One burger is enough to fill you up. The price is right too. Even if they are super busy, the service is great.

Definitely a lil hidden gem in Tampa, the flavor or the burgers are surprisingly very good. I ordered "The burger" and it was great. Staff was great and my burger came out pretty quickly too. If you are looking for a locally owned burger spot this definitely is it.

Burger was amazing, so many people waiting as they have so many orders and still they deliver quick. The price was unprecedented with a combo at $10, come on, where do we see this still? The only downside is the person taking the order. No smile no care. That’s why I couldn’t put 5 stars for all.
