Thyme is not so much a restaurant, more a take-out with tables. You order at the counter and pay in advance. Service was not particularly quick but my main gripe concerns the disposable plates and plastic cutlery. NO,NO, NO! Food itself is OK, salads fresh but over-salted. Tap water - warm- brought somewhat begrudgingly. YES, I am quite fussy. NO, I wouldn't go back again- shame because it could easily be improved.

Love it! Delicious, authentic Mediterranean food. Great for lunch or dinner. Reasonably priced. Good vegetarian options as well. Casual deli style atmosphere. Parking is easy in the lot next to the restaurant.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. A very quaint family run business with absolutely incredible food. We made a reservation for 6:45 on a Friday for 4 people and though it wasn’t super busy with eat in diners it seemed the takeout business was quite busy. The staff was all very attentive and friendly, gave helpful suggestions and recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious, savory and flavorful but not too heavy. Everything is made fresh in house and you can tell. The deserts were delectable but not overly sweet and sugary, just the right amount. Antoinette was gracious and kind and went above and beyond with her service. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem!

This was my first time trying the food here at Thyme and it reminded me of my fathers cooking. The service was excellent and they made me feel like family. I will 10000% be coming back

The falafel wrap, mujadara and feta dip are out of this world. Tastes just like my nana’s kitchen and that is very high praise. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Had the Kafta plate and it was delicious.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food, got the lamb wrap plate for lunch and there was plenty to eat and all was delicious. I will definitely be back in the future.

Freida is so friendly and amazing and the food matches that energy. The zaatar/tyme chips with hummus are awesome along with the pumpkin kibi for any vegetarians. Going to try again in the future forsure

Sad to say we were a bit bummed out at the portion size for the price. The beef and chicken shawarma wraps were awesome but they were almost laughably small in diameter. Also, the Falafel appetizer didn't come with anything at all to dip them in which I found odd. I've never seen that in any other Middle Eastern restaurant before. Imagine ordering fries from somewhere and having to pay for ketchup. Even though the food all tasted pretty good we probably won't be ordering again anytime soon just because there's better value for the same quality and taste at just about any Middle Eastern restaurant within a 20-minute drive.

We love this restaurant, it's very casual and the food is always fresh. The lamb and shawarma are so tender and moist. I thought the portions were good, I always end up taking half of it home. The price is reasonable.We make the trip to Canton from Weymouth once a month just to come here. I give Thyme 5 stars

We are on vacation for spring break and decided to try Thyme Restaurant in Canton. Our food was so good. I had the cauliflower wrap and the fattoush salad. Loved the freshness, the taste! One of the owners gave us a sample of their feta dip with pita chips that were baked not fried. This was to die for. They make everything fresh and from scratch. Including their desserts!!! If you haven’t tried them, you are missing out! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

I had there Dessert and I can highly recommend it. If you are a big chocolate lover, you will love their cakes.

This review in particular is for bakery. Little pricey but not that expensive for custom cakes. The person who makes the cake will be in touch with you for customization so what ever you have thought or is in mind you can discuss. I have ordered 2 times and both time the order was perfect, exactly what is on my mind. I got strawberry shortcake and chocolate and both are amazing. Most of the bakery cakes are too sweet for me si I requested a little less sugar which was perfect for my and guests palate.

Not impressed. Food was really expensive (they nickel & dime you) for the portion size & overall not that great. Their service wasn't friendly either. Disappointed that I spent money here.

Just ok, not what I would have expected. I have eaten in middle Eastern restaurants in Waltham and surrounding the Boston area as well as Bahrain, Sharjah, Dubai and Qatar.

Exceptional and authentic Mediterranean restaurant. The chicken Shawarma is a must have. The Trio Plate is wonderfully presented with sharable portions. The Kafta Kabob is like being transported to Lebanon. The Baharat seasoning is such a sensory delight. The Lamb and chicken were perfectly cooked. The Hummus is fresh made and so good with every bite of the kabobs. You can see your meal being cooked and prepared. Frida is so charming and helpful. And those baked goods, fresh made and delightful. A cultural culinary delight in Canton, MA. I’ll be back again and again. Highly recommended.

Amazing place and an exceptional food/service. As soon as you walk in, you feel the warmth and friendliness. I love that the place is family owned and everything is made from scratch. Definitely try Chicken Shawarma Platter and Chicken Kabob Platter. Both were delicious. We also loved the homemade chips and feta dip, which you can purchase there to go, as well. We will be back for sure!

I started coming here a few months ago and now I always want it! I’ve tried several dishes on the menu and nothing has let me down. Not only is the food a 10/10 but so is the customer service!! Great atmosphere and would highly recommend

We recently ordered a non dairy strawberry shortcake from here for a birthday party. We were skeptical about the flavors initially when it comes to non-dairy cream in general. However, they really amazed us and our guest. A beautiful and bright looking cake that tastes like a daily one (or even better), awesome flavor and everything was so fresh… we couldn’t figure out if it is dairy/ non dairy one (certainly non dairy as we had people with allergies). We have tried such cakes from various people in the past, but this was THE BEST! Thank you Thyme!!

I've only done takeout and they are very attentive and efficient. The food is very good and the portions are good. It's one of the nicer dinner options in the area at reasonable prices.

Everything is fresh and so delicious. The chicken kabobs and the stuffed grape leaves are my favorite.

Absolutely LOVE thyme. My husband and I get it at least twice a month. I like eating healthy and this helps me have takeout without cheating. They're so nice there too. The only recommendation I have is for them to give a small bag of pita chips for the hummus with the platters instead of pita bread or offer one or the other. Can't get ENOUGH of this pita chips! The desserts are crazy amazing too!

Both the in-house and takeout food containers are identical, which is convenient for taking leftovers home but diminishes the dining experience. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant is our go-to for takeout, as they excel in catering to special requests. They accept orders for custom cakes and party catering, and can accommodate requests for halal meat options, making them a versatile choice for various needs.

Went here for the first time today, got x2 Chicken Schwarma Platters for my dad & I, with a side of bhaba ganoush and chips. The food is amazing, the portion is huge and such a good value! The staff was incredible. Very welcoming and friendly & helped me when I asked for a recommendation. Parking was great also which is always a bonus! Will love to try their baked goods someday, everything looked beautiful & made with care. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/will recommend!

Awesome spot! Everything is homemade and the owners are excellent at their craft. Can’t put down the thyme chips, all the pastries are made fresh daily, and the shawarma was delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for some authentic food from a good family.

The food was the absolute best Middle Eastern food I have ever had. I honestly wasn't a big fan of it until I had the opportunity to eat here. The event was a buffet for 15. Food (everything), Service and the Pastries were all phenomenal! Very clean as well. I would definitely return and recommend.

I'm so glad I went to this restaurant. The lady at the counter was so nice and welcoming; she will take her time and tell you about the different options on the menu. I order the Fattoush Salad with chicken kabab for $19.00 and for dessert I ordered the strawberry short cake for $5.00. My total bill was $25.68. The portion of the salad was just enough and it filled me up. The food was so flavorful and not filled with alot of salt. The cake was so light and fluffy and not overly sweet. I love mediterrian food and will definitely go back!

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the delicious garlic sauce . I bought a tub to take home and it was gone in 2 days.

I had one of the authentic chicken shawarmas here. Pretty close to the original ones.!! Not a lot of veg options though The fries were crisp and delicious. The place is well lit and cozy.

I ordered lamb delicious 😋 The hummus 😋 the babgonish delicious. The almond cookies are well 😋 all good. I will definitely be back.

Thyme is a good option for a very casual place with good food. It’s a little pricey for what you get, but I really like the options for lunch and take out dinner. Not much in the atmosphere arena, and you order at a counter, so it’s pricey for the fact that there is no real service.

The food is always wonderful! It’s fresh, tasty and presentation is always nice. Always a go-to for me and my family. After several visits, I was able to formally meet Antoinette today and she is incredibly sweet and thoughtful. I had my 13m old with me and she/team helped us feel completely comfortable.

Flafel was delicious they served tea and baklava after, and it felt like home .

Excellent food. I had the falafel platter, which included hummus, baba ghanouj, tomatoes, and pickles radishes. My husband had the trio platter, which included steak tips (or lamb), chicken, and kaftan kabobs. I'm not sure because I didn't read menu for his item. We sat outside at the roadside cafe. It was a pleasant day, spoiled only by the traffic light beeping. The food was sizzling and fresh off the grill. We ordered inside and when our food was ready, the cashier brought it out to us. There are also a selection of delicious desserts at the bakery counter. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic tasting Lebanese food.

My daughter & I stopped here & ordered our dinner from my phone in the parking lot .menu was clear & easy to order . Food was done in under 15 min- fast. My daughter opened her chicken kabob platter right away, we could tell the ingredients were FRESH & very eye appealing the chicken was cooked to perfection & everything tasted delicious. Unfortunately I decided to wait until I got home to eat my fattoush salad with steak- 25 min later I opened my fattoush salad , which looked great- however the salad dressing was missing & so was the steak. I was tired & it was late so I took the loss . I’m sure it would have been delicious. Mistakes happen. Overall great place - fantastic food . We will go back .

This is more of a takeout place with a small dining area, similar to a pizza shop. We had the chicken shawarma wrap, beef shawarma wrap, chicken kabob warp and dinner plate. We also had a side of spinach pies and falafel. The wraps and dinner were delicious. The dinner plate was great as well with a good serving size. The spinach pies were filled with spinach and the falafels were bigger than expected, they were about the size of a racquetball. They were probably the best falafels I've had.

Wonderful family owned and operated spot. Falafal was the best I've ever had, hands down. Steaming hot, watched them make it from scratch in the kitchen before bringing it out. Simple, affordable, and delicious. Great spot for a quick lunch. Dedicated parking available in a lot along the side.

Chicken shawarma was very bland, it's just chicken, lettuce, and pita. It's a shame because it is Lebanese owned and made on a spit. The salad and kofta was ok, but the bland shawarma really put me off.

We had just got out of Boston Airport and headed to Rhode Island, looking for a place to eat. Luckily, we found this place on the way, and it was amazing! They had an event they needed to close early for, but they still made food for us. The shwarmas were amazing, the food was so good, and the service was just phenomenal. Found ourselves here in the hope of discovering a great Mediterranean food place in the neighborhood.. While our experience was fair, we were hoping the food to be more flavorful.. Service is good, portion size is sufficient as well.. may give the place another try!

First time there and I had the Beef Shawarma wrap and it was absolutely perfect! They cook to order and it is fresh. Very nice family run business. Can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Nice desert and veg falafel ,but baklava is not that good. We had so many times,its one of my fav.,but here I tend to leave the box after a bite.Try gyro kabab baklava.

Had a wonderful experience here yesterday evening with my mom and sister. The food was authentic Mediterranean and amazing. The owner husband and wife are friendly and responsive to your needs. Come for the food - you won't be disappointed.

This place is the real deal. Everything here is delicious, fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real intention. I tried a bunch of stuff on their menu with my family today and I can’t sing praise loud enough. Everything is super homemade. The pita chips are crispy and super flavorful with nice tang of lemon. The babaganoush is smokey, with nice bites of eggplant. The hummus silky smooth and tasty. The beef kebab was cooked to perfection—tender and juicy with lots of flavor. Same with the chicken and lamb. The falafel is huge and super crispy. I’ll definitely come back for their special salad as well which had an array of herbs, lemon, and their house made pita chips. Finally, authentic Turkish coffee and baklava—so good. The food and the vibe were great for kids too—not to mention a family where everyone wants something different. Additionally, the family that runs it is so nice and accommodating.

We had a private function at Thyme restaurant for an important family event, not something they usually do but they graciously did it for us when we asked if they could accommodate our family with a party of 25 people. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and gracious. The prices were very reasonable. I absolutely recommend Thyme for either a private function or a regular meal. Their falafel, fatoosh, grilled meats and baklava are the absolute best!

It’s been hard trying to find a good food spot near my office. Thyme has great food, the steak, chicken, lamb or kafta platter with the hummus! It’s all good to go. 4 stars cause they a little pricey tho lol

The food here is so fresh and delicious! We have eaten here twice, both in person and take out and the food was incredible. The veggies in the salad are fresh, the dressing has fresh lemon, the rice and chicken are cooked to perfection. After finishing his meal, my fiance said "I can't wait to eat here again!"

So glad we have this amazing restaurant in downtown Canton! The falafel sandwich is my go-to, but everything I order is always so fresh and delicious. Highly recommended — they have indoor seating as well as a nice patio, too.

Just what you want in a restaurant! Fresh delicious food served by a friendly extended family. We had steak salad and lamb platter. Top quality meats seasoned perfectly. So good I had to get some bakery items for dessert later tonight.

This place ticks all the right boxes for me: staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. The food is very good and totally not expensive. They have parking available which is always a plus. Desserts are really yummi. We will be coming back very often!

Ordered a lamb wrap on Uber eats. It cost $17. No biggie, lamb is pricey. When my order was delivered and I went to eat it, there was literally two small pieces of lamb in the wrap…it was mostly lettuce and sauce in a pita wrap. I’m so mad right now! I reported this to Uber eats. The food portions they serve are not what they advertise on their website! I did not pay $17 to eat a pita with sauce and lettuce!! If I could give zero stars I would! Do not waste your money on this lousy restaurant.

Great first visit, will definitely return. Owner suggested trio platter and it was delicious! Falafel was light and fluffy. Desserts looked delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. I'll be back soon with more friends.

We've patronized Thyme several times within the past 6 months. The food we've ordered has been tasty: Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Sandwich, Trio Platter. We've only done take-out but our interactions with those who work there have been pleasant. Nice business to have in Canton. The most recent item we ordered was the trio platter with lamb; although it was tasty, it was a very small portion, not enough for two people. Will definitely be returning to Thyme in the near future and looking forward to trying more of their dishes.

Food here is incredible. Stuffed grape leaves, house pita chips, kibble, kafta, shankleesh and falafel are all awesome. We've gotten take out several times from here, it's always delicious.

The chicken Shwarma was meh at best. Portion was small and was 15$ the grape leaves were ok. idk how places like this get 4+ stars. It’s a 3 at best. Go to lawadassas in bridgewater, worth the trip.

What nice eating place for Mediterranean food. First visit here. Very friendly staff and helped us make our selections. You should visit as the food , beef wrap and lamb wrap were large and tasty. A side of fries was huge and done to perfection. We will be back.

This little place is awesome! The Chicken breast in the Chicken Kabob platter was just so juicy. I have never had a chicken breast so juicy and flavorful, yet fully cooked! And the flavor of the Chicken Shawarma sandwich was divine! You should try it🌿
