We noticed this new mexican restaurant and we decided to try it. I order the green chilaquiles with suadero meat and it was the worst chilaquiles I ever had🙃 I'm mexican and I love mexican food but it was nothing like green chilaquiles,the suadero meat was nasty and smells like dirty kitchen rags.they put alot of read tomatoes and lettuce on top of them with black beans 🤯why??!! The green sauce it wasn't at all the mexican tomatillo green sauce, it was like a normal chips salsa. Overall I will not come back🫡

I loved ordering the birria tacos when they first opened but the quality hasn’t been the best lately. Today I ordered the tacos and saw that the “soup” or whatever it’s called was in a smaller container and while eating I found a hair in one of my tacos 😩 I called to advise them and was hung up on, they didn’t call me back so I guess they didn’t care about the feedback so I decided to post a review to inform others of my experience today. So unfortunate 😭

I was in the area. I figured I would try this place since the reviews were high but I was wrong! Maybe it was the dish I ordered (Carnitas chipotle). Not worth $15. I should’ve just gone to Chipotle, their food is so much tastier than this place!

As a girl that loves Mexican food and has tried so many places, this is hands down the most authentic and best tasting in the area. From the quality to the presentation you will not be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

My Fiance and I were in the area to stop and do some shopping. We were looking to grab pizza right next door to Las Fridas. But when we saw the colorful ambiance and interesting art pieces relating to its name sake we stopped in curiously. And boy are we glad that we did. We were greeted by Fransisco, if you go definitely ask for him. He was so patient and helped us narrow down which of the terrific options we might like. Most of the time you have to choose between healthy, delicious or affordable. But it was easy to hit all of these boxes when Francisco helped us navigate their robust menu. The food came fast. And visually I could tell they really knew what they were doing. The smells and the flavors were dynamic. Fusions of flavors tequila, lime and honey on their chicken wings. Super tastey nachos, and the shrimp tacos with pickled veggies and an incredible aoli. This place seems simple from the outside but the service and food quality were anything but. 10/10 I would recommend and we will return with friends.

Love this little gem. Food is presented beautifully, it is fresh, delicious and the coffee adds to the greatness of the meal. The owners work very hard and are very attentive and genuine. Francisco is the BEST!!!!

We had a great meal there. I like that you could order tacos in what main ingredient that you wanted and not three of one kind. The service was great and friendly. The real treat of the night was the flan dessert. It was exactly like my wife’s Dad made in Cuba. The prices are good and a great value. We will be back shortly and for sure will order the flan dessert. One piece is very nice size for two people. Try it you will love it.

The food is acceptable. Nothing special. I ordered delivery through a service. The wait was fine, not too long. The chips are good, the question tastes like doctored up Velveeta. The salsa was good, but the guac is SUPER limey. The only reason I'm not mad at it was it helped the flavor of the burrito, which was just eh. Again, nothing special.

I was in the neighborhood to drop off and pick up my kid at an urban air birthday party. Popped in to grab lunch while I waited. So glad I did! Chilaquiles were delicious and a huge portion. Staff were all great too. Can’t wait to come back!!!

First time a visitor and I will for sure be back again! We were greeted right away and we were able to seat ourselves. Our waiter was very attentive and kind. My sister and I were both in the mood for Mexican and breakfast food, so Las Frida’s was perfect. Their menu has many great options, is fairly priced, and the portion sizes are huuuge! You’ll have some yummy leftovers. The Churro French Toast was delicious, flavorful, and filling. My sister ordered a breakfast burrito and wow, was it gigantic! She was so happy to take the other half home. The complimentary chips and salsa is a plus and knowing that this place is BYOB, I’ll be back for lunch and dinner!

I've been to this place a handful of times. I order something different each time I go, which is risky...but man, this place is a hit EVERY time. The portions are also extremely generous. I always end up with leftovers to use for the next day.

If you want delicious food every time you come THIS IS THE PLACE!! Portions are generous and service is excellent. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Went tonight with my 6 year old son for the first time and we both loved it! Workers are very friendly and timely. The food was amazing and prices are great. My son loved the rice and beans and shrimp quesadilla and my shrimp tacos were very flavorful. We will definitely go back!

I came here for a quick lunch during the week. I wasn’t expecting the tacos to be as good as they were or the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered horchata and chicken street tacos with avocado. They came out quickly and were hot. My server was kindly offering me hot sauce. The prices are very reasonable considering how tasty it is.

Delicious! Came for the brunch menu and ended up getting a sandwich. The portions are huge and you get your moneys worth here!

The staff was so nice and our food was served very quickly! They even made a delicious desert for my birthday that they gave to me for FREE! And they sang a birthday song which was very kind of them!

Don't listen to any other reviews (just the good ones). One of the best Mexican or texmex restaurants so far! Loved their chorizoqueso and the tacos, shrimp quesadilla was fantastic!!. This is my new favorite spot hands down. The waitress was amazing never got any thing wrong of the order we ordered and was fantastic with service.

I recently visited a restaurant that has been open for 5 months and appears to be a part of a small chain with multiple locations. Their menu is quite extensive, offering a variety of dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and even chimichangas. To start, I tried their refreshing pineapple aqua fresca, which was accompanied by delicious homemade tortilla chips served before we even placed our order. For my main course, I opted for a fish taco and a shrimp taco, with the shrimp taco turning out to be my favorite. I also ordered a bowl of tortilla soup, which was served generously, but had a slightly more acidic taste than I anticipated. Perhaps a smaller size would have suited my preferences better. The restaurant provided great service and a friendly atmosphere, making it a recommendation for taco enthusiasts like myself. Additionally, they offer hard shell tacos, which I personally prefer.

Nice family restaurant. Authentic Mexican food. Huge burritos! Fish tacos were good but a bit bland. Will go back again and will order for takeout.

Un restaurante pintoresco desde la entrada hasta el baño de servicio, hay que poner atención para apreciar los detalles. Buena atención y servicio, el sabor/zazon puede mejorar y obtener de mi parte las 5 estrellas. Hay buena música mixteada en géneros de salsa, cumbia, norteñas, etc. Las porciones son muy buenas en paridad al precio ya que los tacos, tortas son más y mejor surtidos a diferencia de la mayoría de restaurantes mexicanos cerca del área. Si te gusta comer mucho y no sentir que pagas demasiado por un platillo este es un buen lugar para iniciar.

We stopped in after visiting the nearby zoo and had a great experience. The restaurant was super clean and colorful and the staff was very attentive. The food came out quick and was delicious! The guacamole was amazing also. We can't wait to visit again.

We were fortunate to stumble on Las Frida's while in the area to visit Legoland. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great! Both our kids (who can be pretty picky) were really happy with their meals and the portions were large enough we had leftovers for lunch. A hidden gem!

Not a good experience. Chips and salsa were average, the fajitas had small pieces of chicken and the tortillas tasted under cooked, and both the rice and beans lacked flavor. The diet coke tasted like syrup and the server explained that the beverage vendor said it was okay, although she didn't think so either! Finally, we charged extra for using a charge card, without any mention of it. There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants to enjoy.

We were excited to try out this restaurant as its pretty new. The menu had large set of options to chose from, they also had so many vegetarian option. Quality of the food and service was top notch. The tres leches was delicious, would definitely visit this place again. I’m a happy customer, and would definitely recommend this place

Roommate and I went here last night. Absolutely incredible food. Amazing service. I got three tacos: brisket, chorizo, and al pastor, he got an al pastor burrito. Everything had so much flavor. Make sure to try the hot sauces! We'll be back. A lot.

This place is so cute!!! And the FOOD. Delicious. Everyone working is super friendly as well. I live near the mall and quality food options are slim - so it was a nice surprise to have such amazing food at an affordable price open up close by. The portions are also very generous. Will be back soon!

PLEASE give this establishment your money. The wonderful staff informed my party the restaurant has only been at this location for 2 or 3 months and it NEEDS to stay. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. The food is the perfect cross of quality and quantity. The Chorinachos were AMAZING. The Birria tacos needed to come with ten more tacos because they were delicious, and I needed more (they were definitely large enough though no worries). The carnitas Enchilada? - it was just so GOOD. Everything tasted FRESH and there was a good amount of it. Even the rice was really good. Great care is put into the quality of the food. Hidden gem in a strip mall but it did NOT feel like it. We cannot wait to go back. You will not regret trying it!

Food was amazing! I was referred to this place by a co worker and it was worth the trip and every penny! For starters we got queso, guac and the Mexican Cesar salad. All were so flavorful. The salad tasted so fresh! For entrees we got the chicken burrito with fajita veggies and a special they were running of a full fish. Both top notch. Best burrito I ever had. Can't leave without some tres leches. Another absolute winner. And such a generous portion. We had a great lunch today and I can't wait to come back and try more food!

absolutely delicious! Went on a whim based off of an area FB group’s post about their horchata—was not disappointed. Everything was so good! The favorite for the table was definitely the birria quesadilla. The best birria I’ve ever had. Crispy tortilla, great flavor with the lamb, tasty soup. The portions were great no complaints all around. Will be returning. Great service
